Matériel Bluetooth et Labview

Bonjour à tous,
J'ai fais une application communiquant en Bluetooth et celle-ci fonctionne très bien sur mes Tablet PC de marque Fieldbook.
Cependant, j'ai des problèmes lorsque j'essaye de passer par des adaptateurs USB. J'ai pu tester le D-Link DBT 122, un Ovislink USB BTH et autres adaptateurs Netgear et sans marques, en tout j'ai pu en essayer 6 ou 7 et aucun ne fonctionne avec Labview, lorsque j'essaye de découvrir les périphériques Bluetooth il stoppe directement le VI et n'envoi aucune erreur.
Les adaptateurs ont tous été reconnus et installés par Windows automatiquement ( et donc avec les drivers Windows ).
Y'aurait-il une solution à ce problème ? Car acheter des adaptateurs pour rien et ne pas pouvoir utiliser mon application sur un autre PC que mon tablet m'ennui... Ne serait-ce que pour pouvoir tester sans compiler...

Interface matérielle usb-I2C

Bonjour à tous,
Je cherche à communiquer avec un afficheur I2C. Pour cela je dispose d'un PC avec port série, de Labview 8.6 et je cherche actuellement les solutions pour faire l'interface port série - I2C. J'ai trouvé mon bonheur chez NI avec l'USB-8451, mais j'ai vu qu'il existait également des "dongle" à 50 € distribués par Radiospares (ref 698-1699).

Je n'arrive pas à comprendre si ce dongle est une alternative low cost pour série(usb) vers I2C ou bien si c'est un produit spécifique pour l'application mentionnée dans la datasheet. Ils parlent de drivers à installer mais c'est uniquement lorsque l'on utilise l'évaluation board ?

Bonjour,
Selon moi ce produit est spécialement conçu pour être utilisé avec les EVB cités dans la documentation.
De plus, le driver sera figé pour une application précise et vous ne saurez pas comment le piloter sous LabVIEW (aucune doc du driver disponible).
Le seul moyen d'utiliser ce matériel avec LabVIEW serait de sniffer le bus USB et d'étudier les transactions sur le bus et ainsi de créer votre propre driver via VISA.
Et encore cela n'est pas garanti à 100 % que vous pourrez faire ce que vous souhaitez en I2C...(peut être que la fréquence d'horloge est figée, que les commandes I2C sont figées et les adresses esclaves aussi dans le firmware du µC).

Je suis étudiant dans une école d'ingénieur et pour mon projet de bachelor je dois commander des petites valves(http://download.gemue.de/Datasheets/Pilot-valves/GEMUE-8505-gb.pdf) avec labview. Ayant bien entendu jamais travaillé avec ce genre de matériel, je perds énormément de temps à chercher le matériel nécessaire. Est-ce que vous pourriez me renseigner sur le matériel nécessaire pour la commande de ces électrovannes?

Simple bluetooth example labview pda

hi, im trying to use the simple bluetooth examples on the pda, i can compile and run the client on the pda no problems but when i try running the server on the computer it just stops straight off, i thought it was the timeout but thats still at 3000 and i havent changed anything on it.
i running xp pro sp2, broadcom 2045 adapter and a ipaq 5550 with bluetooth
any help would be ace

Hi Andy,
LabVIEW will only support devices that use Microsoft's Bluetooth Stack, and unfortunatly it appears yours does not. The following list of bluetooth devices are supported by Microsoft's bluetooth stack and therefore LabVIEW:

Problème d'activation Photoshop CS5 suite crash matériel

Bonjour à tous
J'ai un problème d'activation de ma licence photoshop.
La carte mère de mon macbook à cédée sans prévenir ce qui m'a obliger à racheter une autre machine, il y'a 2 semaines.
Au moment de l'activation de Cs5 sur ma nouvelle machine, la clé n'est désormais plus valide.
On me demande une nouvelle clé ou le lancer la version d'évaluation de 30j.
Je n'ai plus accès à mon MacBook Pro.
Je suis en possession de la boite originale de mon Photoshop extended Cs5 avec toutes les références/codes...
Je ne trouve pas le numéro de téléphone du service client Adobe et le chat semble être inactif.
Que faire ?

Voilà, une partie du code que j'ai tappé en visual basic. La chaine EtatShutter reste désespérément vide. Quel est le problème? De plus une fois que j'ai ouvert le shutter, la commande pour le refermer ne marche plus : il faut que j'éteigne l'appareil puis que je le rallume pour que ça marche. Que dois-je faire?

Minor issue:

That is perfectly fine Visual Basic code, but for some reason I wonder if you might want to do this:
Call ibwrt(ud%, "SHUTTER?" & Chr(13) & Chr(10))
Major issue, unless I'm being stupid about something:

You have a Visual Basic variable named EtatShutter. Your "&" operators construct a longer string, a temporary value with no name. The unnamed value could be assigned to a variable, or printed, or written. But you aren't doing that. You're trying to read from the device into the unnamed value. Even if the read succeeds, you are doing nothing further with that
unnamed temporary value. Meanwhile, EtatShutter doesn't get its value changed at all.
First try reading into the variable itself:
Call ibrd(ud%, EtatShutter)
After that, check if the last two bytes are Chr(13) and Chr(10), and then extract the rest of the string.

Le contenu de cettte base de connaissance devrait être éclairant; LabVIEW fonctionne avec les matériels bluetooth qui utilisent le driver Microsoft du service pack 2 de
Windows XP.
Si
vous avez accès au header de la DLL du driver Widcomm, vous pouvez appeler les fonctions du driver et ainsi piloter votre matériel (à condition de connaître son fonctionnement). Utilisez l'assistant d'importation de bibliothèque partagée (à partir de LabVIEW 8.2) pour accéder simplement aux fontions de la DLL.

Probleme avec un executable LV2011

bonjour
j'ai fabriqué un programme sous LV2011 puis un exe puis un installeur dans lequel je redistribue le RunTime LV2011.
Il se trouve que chez un client, sur un OS 7 64 bits, certaine partie du code contenue dans l'exe ne focntionne pas (erreur 1003). En general cette erreur provient d'un chargement de dll ou de vi non trouvé.
apres investigation la version de lvrt.dll différe de celle utilisée par mon application sur les PCs de ma société : ma version 11.0.0.1.4013 celle chez le client 11.0.0.1.4015.
Chez le client, plusieurs version de LabVIew sont installées ainsi que des composants matériels NI + un Labview RT 2012
Avez vous une idée pour résoudre le probleme?
Connaissez vous des incompatibiltés entre ces deux versions de dll.
Pour l'instant je n'ai regardé que la version de cette dll. Y a t il d'autres points qu'il faut vérifier ?

I recently had a similar problem with LabVIEW 2013 built executable and getting the 1003 error on Windows 7. The issue was that I was using .NET VIs within my LabVIEW application and the LabVIEW installer framework had a bug where the proper C++ redistributable was not packaged and installed correctly. On the client machine the correct C++ runtime redistributable package was not installed, and so my VI was broken (thus also leading to the 1003 error).
To fix the problem I manually downloaded and installed the C++ runtime for the version of .NET I was using (it was 2010 C++ runtime). I eventually found a way to not use the .NET VIs in my application, and was able to rid myself of the problem altogether. Look in your computer and determine what C++ redistributable runtimes are installed, and try asking your client to download and install those until the application quits giving you that error.

Nous sommes des etudiants en BTS electrotechnique. Nous travaillons sur un projet avec les matériels NI et Labview pour une entreprise dans la région.
Matériels : CDAQ 9174
Module d'aquisition numérique NI 9421
Problème : Nous ne connaissons pas vraiment la méthode de programmation sur Labview et Nous devons effectuer un comptage d'un compteur gaz. les pulsations sont tres lente, c'est à dire 100 ms sur une période d'une minute.
C'est un contact sec de 0-10V.
Dans MAX nous avons programmé qu'il s'agit d'une entrée numérique.
Nous aimerions savoir comment programmer un VI pour compter le nombre de pulsations afin de déterminer la quantité de gaz consommée.

Creating .mat files with Matlab dataplugin in LabVIEW

I am trying to create a .mat file in LabVIEW using the Matlab dataplugin. It appears to create a group called "Vector" without being told to, and it also concatenates group and channel names together. I have made an example to demonstrate this behaviour. I am trying to create a group called "Group" and inside it a channel called "Channel". What I get looks like a group called "Vector" and inside it a channel called "GroupChannel". What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for getting in touch regarding your issue. I am an applications engineer here at National Instruments, as I understand you are using the data plugin for Matlab within LabVIEW, but as shown with your code when you label the channel or group you get an outcome which you don't expect.
I have opened and had a look at your code and can see where the issue is arising. The functions you are using are normally used with TDM files, .MAT files are compatible but there are a few differences between the file formats, which is why you are getting the outcome we have seen. A TDM file has headers named channelgroup and channel, but Matlab does not have the channelgroup header in the file type and therefore the functions in LabVIEW merge the 2 strings to the available header.
I am not able to open your .MAT file so could you give me a brief description of what occurs inside Matlab?
Have you looked into using the script node to allow for .MAT file types in LabVIEW? Here is the help file

How do I get my RF signals transmitted via the Bluetooth protocol into Labview for evaluation?

Hi! I have a few questions about how to implement Bluetooth into labview. I do have a stream of 128 kbps of raw data that i would like to transfer with bluetooth and eventually get into a pc with labview. What kind of hardware do i need on the recieving PC side and what kind of software is recommended? Would be glad to get some advice to get me started on this matter. I think that the use of an USB dongle would be possible and just connect to the USB port. Is there any documented test on this matter and how it turned out? Maybee i should say that my system is a cable replacement that sends packets of 16-bit from 8 channels and it is important that this data wont be delayed to m

The "Bluetooth discover" labview driver placed in "Bluetooth" folder doesn't found my Bluetooth server !!!!!!

The BT connection on my PC is runing correctly ! (see the JPG).
The Hw adreces of my dispositives are ......(See the JPG).
Why the labVIEW drivers no are operative in my *.vi ????

Does there exist a .mat-to-LabVIEW converter?

I need to be able to read from and write to .mat files from within LabVIEW. The .mat file format is what Matlab uses to store arrays. I have found that The Math Works offers a C library with functions for accessing .mat files. I suppose I can use this library to create a .dll (or use CINs). Is there a software utility currently available to do this?

This isn't a convertor, but you can reuse Matlab from within LV. LV5.1
I think, added the script node. You can type in or popup and import
matlab scripts. At runtime, the script contacts a Matlab EXE to have
the computations performed and to return the results into LV.

Emulation d'un port com via un port USB en LabView

Dans le cadre d'un projet, un FPGA (vertex V6) m'envoie des trames de données à interpréter dans LabView. Le soucis qui se pose est le suivant, voulant traiter les données dans LabView, comment est-ce que je peux paramétrer le NI-VISA pour recevoir les trames ?
Le soucis réside dans le fait que mon matériel FPGA n'a pas d'identifiant propre et que je n'arrive pas à le configurer proprement . Doit-je passer par un adaptateur USB-Série ou bien existe-t'il une solution purement logicielle ?

Bonjour Sylvain_j05,
Le driver VISA propose un jeu de fonctions haut niveau qui permettent d'appeler des fonctions bas niveaux. Si vous utilisez un port USB en partant de votre PC, vous devrez avoir également un port USB disponible sur votre matériel contenant le FPGA et permettant de récupérer ses valeurs. Sinon, un adaptateur Série-USB peut être envisagé s'il n'y a qu'un port série disponible sur votre matériel.
Vous pouvez également essayer un adaptateur USB-Série sur votre PC (si ce dernier ne dispose pas de port série directement intégré) qui vous permettra d'avoir des ports série directement disponibles depuis votre programme sous LabVIEW.
Exemple d'adaptateurs existants : NI USB-232, NI USB-232/2, NI USB-232/4

Labview.exe à cessé de fonctionner / à rencontré un problème et doit fermer

Je développe actuellement une application sous labview 7 Express. Celle-ci est censée gérer une acquisition sur des longues durées (24 à 48h). J'enregistre mes données dans un fichier temporaire (binaire) toutes les 15 secondes afin de minimiser sa taille. La période de la boucle d'acquisition (lecture CAN) est de 10ms.
J'ai réalisé trois essais avec la même application:
- Essai n°1: Non concluant
OS Windows: XP
Logiciel LabView: 7.0 Express
Observations: le logiciel plante au bout de 5:49:34s (Cf. 170111_LV7Express_XP.jpg). La taille du fichier temporaire est de 179ko.
- Essai n°2: Non concluant
OS Windows: Vista
Logiciel LabView: 7.0 Express
Observations: le logiciel plante au bout de 5:49:33s (Cf. 170111_LV7Express_Vista.jpg). La taille du fichier temporaire est de 179ko.
- Essai n°3: Concluant
OS Windows: Vista
Logiciel LabView: 8.5
Observations: le logiciel à fonctionné correctement et l'acquisition s'est bien déroulé normalement.
D'où vient le problème avec la version 7 Express de labView (mauvaise configuration? allocation mémoire insuffisante?)?
Quelles différences y a t-il entre ces deux versions?
