What computer OS and version do you have and what version of iTunes is installed on the computer?

After downloading and creating the MSI for Lightroom, the install fails with no errors reported. Checking compatability, windows comes back with not compatible on both win 7 and 8.1.

Installer MSI fails with no error or message of any kind. Tested compatability with the windows compatability check and it comes back as not compatible. What now?

It is a known problem on Windows 98, Windows and Windows 2000 if you are using Intel Pentium 4 processor with Sun JRE and Symantec JIT. I had the same problem with Windows 98. Oracle has a patch. Please see Note:131299.1 on metalink for details.

Trying to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 8 - JMB36X controller not compatible

Hello, I am trying to upgrade my old Windows XP SP3 PC with a Gigabyte 965G-DS3 motherboard to Windows 8. (Yes, I know I am late to the party.)
My system more than meets the basic system requirements and I downloaded the latest driver for the motherboard which says is compatible with 8 (JMB36X controller, version 1.17.65.11). I rebooted
after the driver install but when I restarted the upgrade to windows 8, it says this controller is still not compatible with windows 8 and to contact the vendor.
What are my options at this point? I purchased windows 8 upgrade software via download - I've read that I may need to do a 'clean install' but others have said that that won't work either. I've tried both paths allowed by the upgrade software
- keep personal files and keep nothing. Same result either way. Any suggestions? I'd really prefer to keep my personal files so as not to have to move all my files from my backup again (though they are all backed up to an external drive already).
At this point, I'm open to ideas. If I do have to do a clean install, do I need to buy additional software?

I recommend you to run the Windows 8.1 upgrade assistance first to check if there is any other incompatible drivers.

Bootcamp windows 7 displays will not extend monitor only mirror?

I have bootcamped my mac with windows (have done this before about 2 years ago and has worked fine) when i boot windows my second monitor turns on and mirrors the display but i can no-longer extend it like i use to any ideas?

Okay, well, I got it to work, but only in single mode (had to disable the actual mac screen).
Is there a way to do this in duplicate/mirrored mode? I know on the mac side everything fits perfectly even in mirrored and everything.

Upgrade to windows 10, display driver not work

the issue is video card has no working driver detect. Confirm that iTunes 11.1 and Windows 8.1 are not compatible.

My system worked as expected today until the update of iTunes. I am now not able to see my iPad listed in iTunes but I am able to see the iPad storage in file Explorer.
I have re-installed iTunes, updated the driver, tried other USB ports all to no avail.

For me, what solved my problem was to return my system to Windows 8, and then use the system until the official Windows 8.1 update was released. I then installed the 8.1 update with no further problems.
I had been using the pre-release Windows 8.1 upgrade for some time with no problems until the iTunes update. I accomplished the downgrade to Windows 8 by restoring from backups soon after I posted my question so I was unable to test any of the suggested solutions. Thanks again all.

Windows 7 Build 7100 (release candidate): Boot Camp drivers not compatible?

I had a go at installing Windows 7 Build 7100 on my MacBook (aluminium) via Boot Camp. Windows 7 installed fine, but the Boot Camp drivers of the chipset and DVD drive don't seem to work.
I'll have a look at Intel's website for the chipset driver, but what's really annoying me is that I can't eject my optical discs.
Anyone else tried 7100 yet? I had none of the above problems in build 7000.

Tried 7077. A word or two of caution, these (Apple Boot Camp) is known to cause problems and was blocked.
Programs and drivers/installers that worked previously aren't, but that is the purpose of an RC.
Also, Apple iTunes has used GEAR drivers which have also disabled optical drives in the past and may do so again.

Everything works well except Apple TimeServices when you change OS; OSSwitcher (control panel "Boot Camp" to change the default boot OS). Otherwise 7077 has run smooth, fewer problems than Vista (including SP1 and SP2(RC), and definitely much much better than build 7000.

Windows 7 bootcamp drivers not installing properly

I just installed 32 bit Windows 7 Professional on my early 2011 Macbook Pro 2.2ghz i7 and the OS is working fine, but the ethernet controller, bluetooth, facetime camera, network controller, PCI simple communications controller, and SM bus controller all have yellow exclamation points next to them in device manager and are located in a subfolder called "other devices"
I have already installed and reinstalled the boot camp driver pack off of the OSX 10.6 DVD to no avail, as well as trying to install the Marvell Ethernet Controller driver manually, but nothing works.
Any help on this would be much appreciated, I am going crazy trying to figure this out.

Windows Vista - Macbook is not compatible?

I am interested in running Windows Vista via Boot Camp for the core fact that I want to run EverQuest on it. I have a 700 MHZ Computer with 512 MB and a 128 MB Video Card running it just fine, so I dont think it will be a problem.

It says I need a 128 MB card, I only have a 64 MB card and not even that at times, so will it run? I only want home premium, and I only have 80 GB hard drive, but wanted to put 20 GB into windows, the rest Mac OS X, but that can't work I guess since I need 40 GBs atleast, so how will this work?

I have Visa Business running on a 1.8GHz Core Duo Mac mini with 2GB RAM just fine. (Via Boot Camp, it was an "upgrade" after installing Windows XP SP2 first.) Now, exactly what you want to do inside Vista may determine if your configuration will work well or not. I installed Office 12 (2007), got the Mac mini bound to our Active Directory and I've been using it for Outlook/Exchange e-mail for a couple days. A MacBook may have a different experience since the drivers for the trackpad are probably important.

P.S. I did manage to install Vista and have the Mac mini on the network an entire day before anyone in my group at work got Vista even installed on a regular PC. I'm the "Mac guy" and the other Windows-support folks in my group were actually very impressed.

i have an Hp pavilion dv6 quadcore with AMD graphics and processor, it was running well with windows 7, when i upgraded to windows 8.1, the graphics name in the dxdiag has changed to microsoft windows adapter, i have tried installing AMD graphics drivers but just catalyst appears, how can use windows 8.1 with my programmes, should i downgrade to windows 7

If you have a dv6-6xxx model, there is no W8.1 drivers for the switchable graphics setup in your notebook.
You will need to run W8 or W7 if you want the graphics to work as they should.

Where is the window that displays midi chord names played on my controller??

I can't seem to locate the pane in the transport window that displays chords/notes played on the midi controller that was present in past versions.
Any ideas, please????

That's not good enough for me.
I find this lack of chord display in Logic Pro X to be more than a minor inconvenience. It's a very helpful tool, when say, I'm sitting down with a guitar player to review the structure. A quick look at a chord names as they are sounded can get the guitar player started quickly, on their own. I too used and sometimes still do use good ole Cubase. My version of Cubase is 20 years old :-), yet Logic can't display sequenced chords? Wow. Bummer.
Well, I've heard Logic has it's shortcomings.

One, you have a flash .swf file that will need to be
double-clicked to work
and will probably bring up an activeX warning.
The fix for that is to edit the page in dw8.02 or CS3 or to

url.
I don't know why that is used, unless in the next step or so
of the form
