Mauritius - mobile numbers change from 7 to 8 digi...

Mauritius numbers have been updated to 8 digits on September 1st 2013. I can no longer use Skype to call/sms Maurtius. Please, can this issue be addressed asap.

Problem in Message is when we send text to a contact, we get 2 Message for each contacts. After adding +230 to the contact number is working fine.
My issues is that, I have over 1500 contacts and embarrassing on put it one by one.
do you have any Application to add +230 to all my local contacts at once???

After updating to 3.0 I noticed in Settings > General > About, my carrier had changed from O2 2.2 to O2 4.0!
Does anybody know what the difference is? Or is it just that MMS is enabled?

Mobile Safari changes '#' from a link in Mail to '%'

When I press a link from Mail that contains the '#' character, Safari changes it to a '%'. This causes grief as some sites don't load as expected.

Did you set Firefox as default browser at Prefences -> Default Browser of Safari side as well?

Change from Business to Personal Customer

When I got my mobile a few months I asked the salesman to change me from a business plan to a personal plan. The bloke didn’t do it but now for a number of reasons I’ve sooked up and want to change from the business plan I’m on to the equivalent post-paid person plan. AND, to be put on the new billing system with the new bill!!! Any suggestions as to how to do this with the least amount of hassle. I’m under contact but that shouldn’t matter. I’m not asking to break my contract by terminating it or going on a lower plan. I want my 13 digit account number David Thodey. And online account tools for business accounts are terrible.

We have updated Purchasing block to vendor master via LSMW and after that if i am going to see the changes in vendor master (XK03)

Indicator: Telephone is a Mobile Telephone
This field specifies whether the telephone number is a mobile telephone number.
Input values
' ' : The telephone number is a fixed-line telephone
'1' : The telephone number is the standard fixed-line telephone
'2' : The telephone nubmer is a mobile telephone
'3' : The telephone number is the standard mobile telephone
Dependencies
Either the standard fixed-line telephone number or the standard mobile telephone number is also the standard telephone number (FLGDEFAULT = 'X').
In older data sets, this field may have also have the value ' ' for the standard fixed-line telephone. In this case, however, FLGDEFAULT is always 'X'.
Effects on Customizing
In Customizing, you can specify whether the SMS-compatible indicator is to be proposed for new mobile telephone numbers created in dialog by choosing General Settings -> Set countries -> Define Mobile Telephone Attributes for each country.

HT4648 So if you import a numbers document from a mac to iPad which has a conditional format rule such as a cell with a score between 1-10 fills with the colour black will still work on the iPad? Not being able to edit it just means you can't change this

I want to use numbers on my iPad mini for a team I coach. I have a spreadsheet on my mac I want to import onto the iPad mini for players to enter in wellness ratings. On this spreadsheet (on the mac) I have a conditioning formatting rule that when a player enters in their numbers the cells fill with black so others can't see their entries (to maintain privacy). Will this function import across onto iPad numbers? From the discussion I saw on this site it only partly answers my question stating "it cannot be edited" does this mean the conditional formatting rule cannot be changed and therefore will still work or the whole spreadsheet can't be edited and you can only view the spreadsheet and make no new entries to it?

Yes, I have posted this thread to different forums after I realized that Lenovo "customer care" is not likely to help me out and even wirelessforums.org members couldn't come up with any ideas for days, that's why. I have already written that helper applications like SMAC (or etherchange or macshift) don't work, because they do the same thing in the system as I change it in the driver panel, so they use the same method which simply does not work.

The date information is taken from the camera which writes it to the file. This needs to be set to the correct date and time in the camera itself.
The order the images are shown in the Library mode is set by clicking on the sort button in the tool bar, which if not showing can be activated from view, tool bar. There are different sort orders that can be applied including sorting by file name. You can also sort by dragging the images to the order you wish them to appear in by selecting user order.

ISync receives changes from mobile phone but stopped sending changes

Trying to sync this morning with my Nokia 6682. Everything has been working perfectly until today. iCal receives changes from the phone and makes them on the calendar but the changes in iCal are not being sent to the phone. All the iSync log says is that the sync failed. The phone connects to iSync and starts to apply changes to the phone and then just zips to the end and gives me the error.

I understand that I can set up a different Apple ID for the kids devices, or take physical control of the device and make the changes myself. However, my teenage son is technically savvy enough to have a job in Silicon Valley, as are most young people these days. However, in order to access his devices the current way, I first have to bypass the four digit pass code. This starts a fight of why I need in the device and continues to escalate. The argument that I am the parent will gain access but the fight is simply exhausting, and quite frankly shouldn't have to happen at all. He is not yet an adult, he did not pay for his iPad or iPhone and I, as a parent, should have not only have the right to change options at will, and from anywhere, but look at history or current activity when I feel like it.
I currently have the settings where app and in-app purchases require my password to be put in, and he must come to me to type it in, but I need more control and would like, and should be able to access any of our six devices and make individual changes simply by logging in to my account, with my password.
If I can see all my devices on the "Lost My iPhone" app, this technology should be easy to make happen.
C'mon parents! I have a pretty good kid, given all things that they can get into, but I am not stupid. For everything I see has been done, there is much more I haven't seen. I want my children to be kept safe and be able to know what they are looking at or listening to. We parents are the only ones who know our beliefs and what our kids can handle and when.

There are mobile device management solutions that can do this, including in Apple's OS X Server system, but most parents generally find that setting this up is more work than it's worth. If you're interested, though, there are a couple that at least purport to be free (I don't know if there are any hidden "gotchas"):

I don't think any, however, allow you to see current activity or browser history. iOS doesn't expose those to access from MDM solutions, to the best of my knowledge.

Ios 7 upgrade will not let me send text to certain mobile numbers. Apple allows you to create your own custom label for a phone number. In my case, I have a number of landline and mobile numbers connected to a business that I call constantly. There are a number of businesses set up this way in my Iphone. I have changed the name of the contacts in these businesses, be it landline or mobile. But now it seems that I cannot send a text to Mobiles that I have changed the name of, from MOBILE to the persons name. Even changing it to the persons name and then mobile beside it .
Anyone got any way around this

Hi Just got home and am sending you a screenshot of one f the contacts in my Ipone 4s with the ios 7 upgrade. Ive deleted a few of the numbers but you can see there are two of the mobiles on there. One has a persons name and one is just called mobile.
the one with the persons name no longer has the text box beside it which would normally allow me to text that person.
I did edit this contact and changed it back to "Mobile". I was then able to send a text as the text box was available for use
