Maveric comes with iphoto?

I just bougth a MAcbook pro with retina display but, I can't found iphoto. I tried to get thru apps store but will me charge $14.99.
Is it supposed come with maveric o not?

You lost iPhoto (and the rest of iLife) when you did the Clean Install.

No, reordering within folders and albums is not supported. the yare arranged automatically by date. I found this, but I have not used any of the apps besides iPhone. You might check the descriptions to see if they do what you need.

In iTunes go File -> Library -> Organise Library -> Reorganise Library.
Then quit and restart iPhoto.

This is iPhoto for iOS (e.g., the iPhone, iPad, etc). You might want to post your question in the proper forum.
But to answer your question, yes, you should have received a disk with the iLife software included, or it should already be on your HDD. Have you checked your applications to be sure?

My macbook pro did not come with iPhoto, iMovie, Garageband, and probably a few other apps.

Aren't those supposed to come with the mac? I tried to return it but the future shop dude said just register the macbook and download the apps, they're free. Is that true? If so, how do I go about doing that? I'm starting to think I got ripped off or something, never again am I buying Apple products from anywhere but Apple.

The license to use iPhoto is not transferable. It is included with new Macs, but it cannot be sold, so it will not be on any used Macs. You will not have iMovie or GarageBand either.
You must purchase your own copies of these apps from the App Store.

Problem: I reinstalled my iLife '06 and upgraded the software but iPhoto and iDVD still didn't come up.
Solution: I took the advice of Peggy Lynn in this discussion group and downloaded a shareware program called pacifist (http://www.charlessoft.com) and reinstalled the two programs after extracting them from the iLife '06 package (very easy to do).
