Maverick Update error msg

When i enter my new apple id/password to get the free upgrade for Maverick, i get an error msg (100) that states it cannot complete the process because of an issue with iTunes. It's a new macbook pro (last year's model new in box). I changed my apple id password a couple of times through this process. Any suggestions?

some updates leave old models or old iOS versions behind. That's the way technology evolves. You must then stick with last version that is working with it. ( they are locally in your Itunes music folder, under "mobile applications", good idea to back up these *ipa files - some time in the future they will not be available ). You can drag and drop the apps icons from within PC/Mac to the connected iPhone, that will re-install these locally versions on the iphone.
If you use iTunes AppStore from Mac/PC you can also read the system requirements on ech App's info box.
I would say more and more apps now will certainly require iOS5 instead of 4.x , and as more and more apps make use of Retina Display, the 3GS would be out - even with iOS5 on it.

If its just after installing that particular application , Its hard but first you should try to boot your device in safe mode .If it works then you can uninstall that particular application depending on your OS version from Options > Device > Application Management ,

Mavericks Update - Error message - The product distribution file could not be verified

Help!
Trying to download mavericks (from 10.7.5) as I have just had a new hard disk isntalled and need to start from scratch.
Wanting to re download iphoto but I can't as I need a newer OS so trying to download mavericks from the app store. My internet is very slow and keeps cutting out so I have tried a few times but it's not working.
Now I'm getting an error message - 'the product distribution fil could not be verified'
If anyone can help that would be great.
Or even let me know where I can get a copy of iphoto to suit OS 10.7.5 so I don't need to download a whole new OS.

You're trying to download a 5 GB file. If your Internet connection is lousy, you won't have much success. Try another network.

Adobe Updater - Error Msg - Can't Overwrite file

When I check for Updates, I get this error message:

Newest iTunes update error msg

My first attempt at syncing since I updated my iTunes has turned out pretty bad. Not only am I getting the message that it has stopped working halfway thru the sync, my songs have gone from over 2200 to under 650 on my iTunes, Only a few have been removed from my phone. However. when I look in my itunes music folder, all my music is still there. I have followed step by step to remove all of the programs and reinstall them, only to find the same issue. What can I do? is there an issue with the latest update thats causing this? Considered murdering my PC over this. Please help

The issue eventually resolved itself, I still don't really know why. I kept up with Windows update, and attempted downloading iTunes again from the Apple website, and it just... worked. It now works fine. I don't know why it took approximately 4 months to work, though.
I'm sorry I don't have any more helpful information. Posting here was my last resort, and clearly Apple never bothered to reply.

Nobody can know. You are not offering system info or otehr details. Start by uninstalling and reinstalling the base program.

Itunes error msg with latest update - will not open!

Just installed latest itunes update (9.2.1 I think) - update went fine, rebooted, all ok. Just fired the computer up again today and tried opening itunes only to immediately receive an error msg saying "itunes can not open - missing files. Re-install itunes".
Anyone found this?
Just checked and I do have the latest version of Quicktime installed.
Don't want to re-install itunes as I might loose all my settings.

Fixed it! Took the plunge and hit "download itunes". When it popped up, the option asked if I wanted to "repair" to I did. 100% fixed and all me settings etc are still there! Phew!!

I would suggest that you particularly pay attention to the information in the following section, which addresses error codes such as the one you have been given:
Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.

Error msg in attempt to download app update

Received error msg when trying to download update 3.1.2 to maccleanse - "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." Is there a fix for this problem?

Most likely pirated software.
FYI... your Mac does maintenance for you. There's no need to download purchased or free so called "cleaning" utilities on a Mac.
If you have problems with your Mac, you will need to use Lion Recovery, not third party.
I did an ASC forum search for MacCleanse here. Way more negative input then positive.

After Mavericks Update Iphoto & Camera Communication Error

I have a Quesiton. Anyone Getting a " Communication Error on your camera when trying to Sync to iphoto ? Won't work with Mavericks Osx but it seamlessly works perfect with Lion? Any thoughts about iphoto or Sync from a camera ?
I know it's working no adjustments made prior or present, just connect and iphoto loads all pictures. This time with Mavericks no capoot !!! nada ! Zipo ... Thanks Ya'll
