Mavericks finder ask for password for any change
I just upgraded to Mavericks. When I want to add a new folder or change a name or delete a pdf file or other files, I am asked for a password. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Every five seconds I get a notification that Adobe CC cannot install or uninstall Adobe add-ons without admin rights. I did'nt ask for any changes.

What steps did you perform to install Mavericks?
It sounds like there's a permissions mismatch between your account and those files. If you ask the Finder to do a "get info" (File > Get Info), what do you see in the "Sharing & Permissions" section? Compare that will a file you just created.
There's a way to reset the permissions of your files while in "recovery mode" (boot with command-R held down), but I can't give you details. -

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked
Keep login keychain unlocked
is not checked, check it.
Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access. -
Release Strategy to be reset for any change in purchase order
Hi Experts,
At present the release strategy configured is for any change in the value of the purchase order, the release strategy is reset. Now the the client wants that for even any text change of a word, text, quantity, value, addition, deletion the release strategy should be reset.
Can any one guide to configure the release strategy for any change. Also please provide the list of standard parameters/scenario (E.g. change of price, change of quantity etc) for which the release strategy can be configured to be reset.

I too have the same problem. I tried with Changeable indicator "1". The system does not allow to make any change to the Purchase Order even after the first level of Release. But the requirement is that the system should Reset the Release Strategy for even minor Change in the PO.

Why should I recompile report for any changes in the database ?

I call a report (.rep) from a form using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT, and everything is OK
For any change in the database, for example :
1- Export Dump file for the schema.
2- Drop the schema
3- Re-create the schema again
4-Import the taken dump to the schema
When i call the report again, the report doesn't run. If i recompile the report again it will work.
I read too much posts about this issue, most of them are taLking about the command line parameter RECURSIVE_LOAD=NO ,
v_url :=' COMPANY_NO='||:global.company_no|| ' RECURSIVE_LOAD=NO';
SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY(repid,REPORT_OTHER,v_url);
But , Still the problem not solved
Notes :
1- The report type is .REP
2- if I used the .JSP report, it is working fine , But i can't copy the source code for the report at the customer side.
Please HelpWell, first of all this would not be the correct forum. There is a dedicated reports forum for reports related questions. And secondly this most certainly depends on your report. If you have a query like
select * from my_tableor e.g. are using %rowtype records in your report then you most certainly will have to recompile it after you do an exp/imp.

Downloading OSX Mavericks is asking for password?
On downloading OSX Mavericks it is now asking for the administer password yet my iMac was set up from the shop without an administer password, any ideas?

Recently, even If I copy paste files from different folders or rename files, my mac says, "Finder wants you to make changes and asks the password".
It wasnt like that all the time. How do I get it back to normal again ?Did you change the permissions somehow? It sounds like th permissions are messed up.

Finder asking for password password
Ever since Lion a couple of folders have asked for an administrator password if I try to delete or move anything in them, it hasnt been much of a problem but I have a lot of work in the folders and its getting to be a real issue now.
I've looked around and the recomended terminal fix: sudo chown your_user_name ~/.Trash doesn't work, how can I fix this?I gave that a try, seemed to be doing as the post said when restarted as spotlight started indexing imediatly, but its an SSD and stopped after a few seconds. and its not worked, even tried again and then with my admin only account too.
The folder is on the HD though, could that be causing issues? -
How can I turn Finder off? Can not delete from desktop finder requires a password and the item is still not deleted.

Installing .air file on osx Mavericks keeps asking for installation package
After upgrading to OSX Mavericks and Upgrading to Adobe CC I'm having trouble installing .air files.
I'm working on OSX Mavericks 10.9.1
I have built an Air application with the Air4.0 SDK in Flashbuilder 4.7 and packaged a release build as a signed Air Package.
When I try to install it by double clicking the .air file , the Air Application Manager Starts but asks for an Installation package instead of using the package I just doubleclicked.
Any ideas how to solve this?

I never had Air 3.8 installed on my machine (after a clean install of osx mavericks). Only 3.9 4.0beta and now 4.0 release.
Even now that I reinstalled 4.0.0.1390 I'm not able te uninstall. It still give an "already installed message)
The Package insttaltion problem occurs with any .air file, so for instance even the air SettingsManager.air from the adobe site.
It's probably some hickup with my machine, but I don't know where to look anymore.
I'm not sure what you mean by the app.air file.
I have sent a a simple .air file to your mail address.
Oddly enough when I double click any .air file (and the "select installation package" window appears) and then doubelclick the .air file again from the finder,
the air installation window does appear behind!! the "select installation package" window ( but I can't click it ).
So it seems that, when first opened, the Adobe AIR Application Installer doesn't receive the file path of the .air file that was clicked.

How InDesign comes to know about any changes on document, but not saved. As it shows * on the name of document when it is opened and any changes.
And after saving * symbol is get removed from the name of document. How and where indesign@ handles this? How to get Notification?Are you just asking because you want to know, or do you have a problem you need to solve? I don't know how to write a program, but I think what your are describing is not an unusual thing for a program to do. The * tells you that changes have been made since the last save, and the program reserves a portion of memory for undo functions. I suppose a coder could tell you how it works, but I don't think it would help an average user to know, but that's just my opinion.

Check the user exit MV45AFZZ in this exit u will be finding the Lot of stages where we can control the VA01 or VA02 . Please find the exit with the name SAVE before. Try to check any changes For sales order in CDHDR and CDPOS and give some error message .
