Max Attainable Vs Actual Rate

I have an unlocked and updated HG612 modem and its great, much faster connection than i used to get however i do have one question.
My Max Attainable rate generally hovers between 59000 - 61800Kbps download and 14000-15000Kbps upload with a SNR of around 6db on both. I am around 500-600 meters from the cabinet
However my actual sync rate on the downstream is always 52000-52900Kbps, my question is because the firmware upgrade was only recent will my sync rate catchup to my Max Attainable or am I at the limit of my line?
Upstream sync is always bang on what the max attainable is but downstream is always much lower.
I do keep an eye on my stats and the worst I have seen the max attainable drop to is 56000Kbps with a SNR down in the high 4's low 5db but this was only once and my Max Attainable even on a busy saturday evening is usually at its lowest 59000Kbps with a SNR of around 5.6db
Also does the 10day stabilisation play a part in this as i read somewhere that with the old adsl standard it would monitor the line for the first 10 days and then the best rate at the end of those 10 days would be the maximum DLM would ever let your line get to. I am connecting slightly faster now than when i first got infinity so i know DLM will let me go a little bit faster but am i at the top limit of my line as far as DLM is concerned or will it keep increasing me if it sees my line is working well? The line is fairly stable and can maintain a connection for many days at a time, it had got upto 10 days before i unplugged it to rewire it for my new network setup i'm sure it has gone for longer but its only recently i have monitored my stats closely.

So the max sync rate of your line is Max: Upstream rate = 14851 Kbps, Downstream rate = 60524 Kbps
The max obtainable speed is Path: 0, Upstream rate = 14844 Kbps, Downstream rate = 52800 Kbps
Not sure if thats what you wanted to know as for the other bits i'm at a loss on those too and just pay attention to the Sync and Obtainable

  • Actual rates (KBK6) is not getting picked up for CPTA (template allocation)

    Hello Experts,
I am using template allocation for the purpose of overhead calculation. I maintained rate in KP26. It is getting pulled up when I ran standard cost estimate. This is correct
Now I want to run CPTA (ie. charging overhead at month end) using actual rate. Hence I maintained actual rate in Tcode KBK6. Actual rate is little bit varying with KP26 rates. Hence I want to run CPTA with actual rate.
When I executed CPTA, I saw that system is picking up KP26 rate and not KBK6 rate. Please help me. How system will pick up KBK6 rate for CPTA.
    --Meena.

    Hi Meena,
The correct sequence of closing should be:
    1. Template Allocation - CPTA
This will post activity allocation from CC to your production order at PLAN price.
    2. Calculate Actual Activity Prices - KSII
This will calculate actual price based on costs posted to CC and activities allocated (try to avoid KBK6 in your testing but rather calculate actual price properly). It will also credit CC but will NOT debit the order.
    3. Revaluate your production order - MFN1
This will debit the order with the difference between plan and actual activity price.
Please kindly read SAP Note 156563 - Settlement after activity allocation/revaluation.
It explains revaluation logic in detail.
If in your case CPTA generates activity allocation between CC and order (valued at plan price) and KSII calculates new actual activity price, MFN1 has to update the order.

How to fix the packet loss issue?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
Please try to use the Lync 2013 PreCall Diagnostics Tool in Windows Store.
For the issue about high packet loss rate, please double check if the network bandwidth and check if there is any

  • Increase in attainable rates and sync speed

I've noticed that my line is now syncing at 79999 down and 20000up, lasst week, and for the past 6 months the attainable rate has been 60000 down and 15000 up,
I'm still only getting 71000 down via the bt speedtest and 9000up, getting slightly better results on bbc though.
Also noticed my latency to the bbc is down from 25ms to 21ms
have there been any changes to the network or is this the DLM deciding that my line is good enough to handle higher speeds?

I don't think your line will improve even more, as you are at the limit of your package.
If you look at your modem stats you will see both sync rate and max attainable rate.  The max attainable rate will only change significantly if something changes in your line.  The sync rate will change as DLM thinks fit.  If you see your max attainable rate is over around 90000, then maybe you could get more stable sync rate if BT offered a higher level Infinity package.
DLM will always keep your sync rate below the max attainable for stability.  For reference, my values are a good but not perfect:
Max: Upstream rate = 23773 Kbps, Downstream rate = 81184 Kbps
    Path: 0, Upstream rate = 20000 Kbps, Downstream rate = 73999 Kbps
Down Up SNR (dB): 7.9 14.5
Over the month or so I have been monitoring, my max attainable has dropped slightly, from just over 85000 to values around 82000.  My sync speeds have gone up a lot to reach their current appropriate value, because I had had a previous wiring issue that had lowered my DLM.

  • Automation for actual input of utility rate in Production Cost centers

    Dear All,
Currently we have a process where we are downloading actual rates through KSII for each location and rates calculated are inputed through KBK6 for all individual production cost centers by activities ,so my requirement is whether there is any procedure where downloading and uploading can be eliminated and actual rates calculated by system directly loads on to the production cost centers.
    Kindly provide any suggestions
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
If u run KSII, system will give a message "Do you want to post the results of price calculation?" if u click on YES , it will automatically update  in your KBK6.  Pl. Check once.

  • Why does the sampling rate for my DAQCard-700 max out at 6578Hz regardless of the number of channels I'm sampling?

My DAQCard-700 is acting funny. I am using LABView 6.0.2 on a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop for continuous analog input. For some reason my DAQCard-700 won't let me acquire multiple channels unless I create virtual channels in max and then run AI Config with a list of the virtual channel names. That's fine (but weird), but I max out my sampling rate at 6578 Hz, which is the max sampling rate if I would have sampled all 16 (Referenced, single-ended) AI channels. But I'm not -- I'm sampling 6 channels, as proven by the "number of channels" indicator in AI config and just looking at my data. If I sample just one channel, I can get up to 105248Hz. Is my card f
ried, or am I missing a hidden setting somewhere? I have the latest NIDAQ.

    Hello;
By the description of your problem, everything is pointing us to a hardware failure.
There aren't any tricks to acquire multiple channels with that card.
The best way to go about this is to have NI to fix the board for you.

  • Actual Overhead rates on Production Orders

There is a function that let you recalculate overhead rate for actual?
I mean for example, when you use activity types in production orders, during confirmations planned price is posted to orders, then at the period end closing you can calulate actual price (KSII) and then revaluate production orders with this new price (CON2)
Is there something like this for overhead rates? p.j. if your actual rate is $3.00 by produced unit. Then at the end of the month is there any transaction that compare actual expenses and actual production and determine new rate? example $3.5. In order to revaluate production orders?
    Thanks

    Hi Espinosa
    Welcome to SDN!
I guess your question is to check if there is a mechanism to auto calculate the overhead rate in the system....
Sorry, there is no such mechanism.. You need to manually calculate and maintain it in KZM2 or KZZ2... Then revaluate the prod orders with new rate using CO43....
However, I find it painful and boring.. Hence, I have developed a workaround which I prefer to use always...
You need to decide on what basis you would like to absorb your overhead... Say, Machine hrs, lab Hrs or Output.... Lets assume you choose Output (KG) to absorb the overhead
    1. You need to create an Activity Type called PRDOVH and assign it in the PP Work center... Assign the cost element of this act type to a separate cost component in OKTZ
    2. While creating the Routing, the Activity Qty = Operation Qty for this Act Type... i.e. If you are creating routing for 100 Units, specify the Act Qty for PRDOVH as 100...
    3. The Formula in the work center will be fully variable for this Act Type.. i.e. the Act Qty should change in proportion to the Qty Confirmed....
    4. The PP Guys will confirm the operation in PP... This Act Type will also get confirmed along with it
    5. Now calculate Act Price KSII as usual and run revaluation... From this point onwards, follow the normla procedure which you follow in month end

  • Revaluation of actual activity rates

<MODERATOR:  please post in the appropriate forum.>
    Dear all,
My client is having make to order scenario in which at the time of production order confirmation (co14) actual activity is confirmned and loaded to production order as per planned acticity rates maintained in kp26
i.e actual activity * planned rate , but when actual costs of activities are debited to cost center for these activities there is under/over absorption in cost centers .So i want to know what is to be done for these absorptions .Through sap help i came to know about revaluation tool at actuals ,but how it is done kindly provide some suggestions or any other method of knocking off over /under absorption so that cost of product should be according to actual activity*actual rate.
    Thanks and regards
    vijay

    Hi Vijay,
I do not have any documentation but I can you the splitting concept one more time. It is more important to understand the concept.
Suppose you have a cost center 1000 that produces 3 activities in a month. You incur lot of expenses in the cost center, say $10,000, out of which $4,000 are fixed costs, which means these costs can not be identified to one particular activity. There are 10 cost elements which contribute to these costs.
The other $6,000 are incurred due to activity 1, 2 and 3. There are 5 cost elements which cause these costs.
Using KP06, you need pair the activity dependent cost elements to the respective activity types and plan the costs.
This way you can separate variable costs from the fixed costs.
Splitting job splits the acitivity independent (fixed) costs to 3 activities in the ratio that you set in KP26. You need to assign equivalence numbers in KP26 for each activity type. Let us say you assigned 1, 3 and 5.
Once you make the above settings, the splitting job will split $4,000 into the 3 activity types into the ratio of 1, 3 and 5.
When you run KSII, activity price is calculated for each activity, which will be the total costs per activity divided by the actual activity output. So, the KP06 costs will be added to the split costs to determine the activity price.
Please try the above concept and the t-codes and settings I mentioned yourself and let me know if you face any problems.
    Regards
    Sharabh

  • ACTUAL ACTIVITY RATE CALCULATION

    Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to calaculate actual activity rate based on plan hours......
I know that we can splitt the actual cost based on plan hours by selecting splitting rule 22...
Now im doing actul activity rate calculation through ksii...
Then system considering actul hours confirmed in production for actual activity calculation.....
    Pls suggest me.

    Thank you for prompt reply.
Suppose this month we have produced only . 10 finished products.... But actual capacity is 20..... What ever cost moniterd by the production cost centers will be loaded on total 10 products only  at the time of revaluation of production orders if we calaculate actul activity rate based on actual hours....... so the cost of the product is getting increased... so that he want to calculate actual rate aslo with planned hours..... Is there any other solution for this..
Pls suggest me ...... its very urgent.

  • Difference between standard and actual activity rates

    Dear All,
My client is having a process in which while downloading KOB1 the system is giving report of all the process orders wise  activities confirmed in that month against some cost center.
Now when i am going into line item it takes me to process order confirmation display where activiies to be confirmed and activities yet to be confirmed are displayed.
After that cost center report S_alr_87013611 is displayed wherein actual rates(quantity ) is displayed for that activities.
Now the system shows difference between actual and standard activities.
The difference is the calculated in excel on the basis of KOB1 report and difference is loaded process order wise  on calculation done in excel through LSMW (for transaction KB21n) wherein difference quantity is posted from cost center to process order.
Now client needs automation in the sense that no excel calculation should be done and difference should be posted for that month for each process order in the ratio calculated in excel.
Kindly provide any solutions if any, avaliable in standard or Z development has to be done.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Dear AP,
Have you any idea about how in above case Z development is to be done?

  • Connection stuck on ADSL Max months after exchange...

    Hi all
My exchange was upgraded to ADSL2+ nearly 12 months ago, but my connection is still running at the previous ADSL Max 8Mb sync speed. I'm using a Vigor 2710n router and my stats are as follows:
    show adsl
      --------------------------- ATU-R Info (hw: annex A, f/w: annex A) -----------
       Running Mode            :    G.DMT       State                : SHOWTIME

These stats haven't changed since the days of my being on an ADSL Max connection. I'm not an expert at this but I believe that my Attenuation & SNR Margin figures are high enough to get ADSL2+ speeds. The fact that the modulation type is showing as G.DMT rather than ADSL2+ (G992.5) suggests to me that i'm still stuck on the old ADSL Max profile.
I've made several calls to BT support (India) and get different fob offs each time - that my line is operating within spec, that speeds above 8Mb are only avaiulable if I upgrade to Infinity (!) etc etc. During the last call about a month ago (case vol011-60207770173) I was told that they would reset the SNR marginand that the line would retrain over the next 10 days or so. Nothing changed at any stage on the router - stats remained as above.
I'm paying for an ADSL2+ product my profile seems stuck on ADSL Max. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to get this looked at properly by BT then please let me know.
    Thanks,

  • ACE20 SSL-connection rate performance

    Hello,
One of our customers are challenging our ACE20 modules ssl-connection rate performance. During a loadtest performed against our webportals, they concluded, that the ACE-module showed signs of severe performance degredations, when the number of new ssl-connections hit 40.
While I disagree with that conclusion, I find it somewhat difficult to disprove it. Nothing on the ACE-module suggest any ssl-resource depletion, the highest recorded ssl-connection rate is 677 tps and the license permits 10k. The context is currently sized to 4k. I've gone through numerous troubleshooting steps, trying to locate anything that would suggest a problem with the module, but so far nothing has turned up.
I've been given somewhat conflicting information about what the ssl-connection rate resouce actually represent. Some say is represent the total number of new ssl-connections pr/sec, other say it represents ssl-transaction capacity as a whole, which among other things would include ssl-handshakes. Regardsless, 40 in my opinion seems way to low and this is very inconsistent with the generel load on our modules, which often climbs into the hundreds.
So I'm looking for suggestions on how to conduct a simple ssl/tps test against the ACE-modules. The test is expected to be very basic, as I'm not looking to test the webportal end-to-end, but simply doing an ssl-tps performace test.
    Any help will do
    Thanks
    /Ulrich

    Hi,
The connection will be denied once the SSL connection rate is exceeded.
That can be identified by using the command :
    show resource usage all
You will see something like this :
Resource         Current       Peak        Min        Max       Denied
    ssl-connections rate        995       1000          0       1000     28975
You will notice that the deny counter will start increasing once the rate is exceeded.
    hope that helps.

  • MAX: how to create a Calculated Channel based on two physical channels?

    Good morning,
I need to configure some tasks in MAX with Virtual Channels that are calculations based on physical channels. I saw this article : http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/1BFCE6FAD5B3944986256D67006DF7EC but cannot see the equivalent in the newest versions of MAX (V5.1).
As an example I am already acquiring the physical channels Ch1 and Ch2 and I want to build a virtual channel Ch3=E+(A.Ch1+B)/(C.Ch2+D). A,B,C,D,E are constant values. I would then like to integrate Ch3 in a task together with other physical channels that I am acquiring.
Could you direct me to this function?
    Thanks for your answer.
    Christophe

    Hello Christophe,
With the newer versions of NI DAQmx and NI MAX there was a choice made to go from the relatively limited VI Logger options to a more extensive form of configurable applications.
For this purpose (and others) NI Signal Express was created, which allows you to configure applications with a limited amount of programming.
To do similar (and more things) then you were used to do with VI Logger you can use NI SignalExpress
    http://www.ni.com/white-paper/5825/en/
    http://www.ni.com/white-paper/5827/en/
This specific VI logger functionality for the creation of ""virtual channels" (step 5 to 10) through VI Logger Tasks (directly from inside NI MAX) however does no longer exist.
This also more clearly seperates your Configuration Tools (like NI MAX) from your actual applications made with LabVIEW or SignalExpress.
Would using NI SignalExpress be an option for you?

i noticed when i plguued in my dell tv/display, the max rez and refresh rate is 1360x768 60Hz. is there any way i can increase the refresh rate and resolution?

as the last person said u cant usually get more than 60 hz from lcd's. BUt that is not really a performance spec for LCD. Rather you will want to make sure your monitor has the highest response rate. (usually faster than 8ms)

  • Help with MIRO Badi's and Translation Date (Exchange Rate Date Reference)

    Dear experts
This is a problem I have read a lot about, but none of the answers work properly and I wanted to create a new thread in order to try to compile a final answer for this problem (at least in version 6.0)
As you know Standar SAP uses posting date as translation date in MIRO for foreign currency.
This is not always true (imagine Crude Imports with 3 dates: Invoice date, posting date and Bill of Lading date. The last one happens to be the fiscal date for exchange rate in my county and the other two are also mandatory).
I am proposing thus to use 3 dates: Document date as invoice date; posting date as posting date and Invoice Receipt Date
(REINDAT - RBKP) as Bill of Lading date. I would like to implement this third date as translation date.
Lot of ways to do it, but none works properly as for the end user it is complicated to enter data in a certain way so that BADI's work properly. I have implemented note 574583 and only works with some restrictions.
I have also used some more BADI's like MRM_HEADER_CHECK, FI_TRANS_DATE_DERIVE, INVOICE_UPDATE,... and all of them have some restrictions (depending always in data header taps data introduction or saving the exchange rate properly in MM TABLES but not in FI TABLES).
I would really appreciate if anyone could help with this, ensuring that the Badi get's always the data and makes it work with no screen selection dependance.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear All,
I have found the solution with the help of ABAPer. The system has a bug for which SAP has given a  Sap Note no 22781.
Actually what happened in the Invoice is, the system by default fetched the exchange rate for the Exchange Rate Type 'M' for the rate last maintained. Since we were using different Exchange rate it did not match. Also we came to know about the difference only because off-late the users had stopped updating Exchange Rate 'M' .
The funny part is in the Invoice if we click on each tab at the header and come back to the first tab where we find the Exchange rate for accounting, the system picks up the actually rate as per the Exchange Rate maintained.
    Regards,
    Karthik.
