MAX: Export Configuration not available

Hi,
I tried to export my MAX configuration by using the Configuration-Export-Wizard (I only know the German name), but the dialog says no appropriate NI-programs were installed.
I'm using LabVIEW 7 and MAX 3.0.1.3005.
What do you suggest to do?

is it also possible to import IVI configurations. I attach you a MAX exportation file that was done succesfully but I cannot open it. Some idea?

I am getting an error when I try to export a .move Quicktime file. I have been able to successfully export movies in the past, however, I can no longer do this.I tried reinstalling and updating CS4 and Quicktime, but no luck.
I go File > Export > Quicktime, and get the following error:

This happens when I try to export a movie from Flash CS4. I've reinstalled CS4 and Quicktime, and it seems that Flash still cannot recognize Quicktime (Pro).
Quicktime opens just fine separately, any thoughts?

Movie export size not available/balance between size and quality

Hi,
I imported some film into iMovie 08 from my Canon HD camcorder, at full 1920 x 1080 size. After I finished editing it, I wanted to export the final movie at 960 x 540. This size is not available under the "standard" share options ("large" is 1280 x 720 and "medium" is I can't remember what exact size but smaller than 960 x 540). Similarly, when I go into "Export using QuickTime" and try to create an H.264 movie there, the 960 x 540 option simply isn't available. What gives?
The reason I wanted to use this size was to try to cut down on file size. I exported the movie at 1280 x 720 and got a 380Mb file. So I wanted to try it at 960 x 540 and see what difference that made to the file size and quality. Since I couldn't seem to do it using iMovie, I ended up taking the 1280 x 720 video and using ffmpegx to convert it to 960 x 540. The problem is that I ended up with a file that was, bizarrely, even bigger (384Mb), and that had a thin green line across the bottom of the video.
So, in summary, my three questions are:
1. Why can't I export from iMovie in 960 x 540?
2. Why does my ffmpegx conversion result in an even bigger file?
3. What's the best way for me to get the optimum balance between file size and quality? (For viewing on Apple TV/HD television).

Another very good 3rd party slideshow application is PhotoPresenter. It has some of the nicest themes I've seen in any slideshow application (including the Apple TV introduction theme) and will export to a variety of sizes up to 720 x 480 which is DV-DVDCPRO - NTSC.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Flv export still not available after upgrade

After upgrading to Flash CS3 the option to export to flv is
still not available on my Intel Mac from Quicktime Pro or Final Cut
Pro 5.1.14. I upgraded with the understanding that the new version
would be universal binary and would offer this ability that was
there on PPC Macs. Is anyone else having this problem?

Well i solved it my self i just reinstalled the upgrade v30.0.018 and it works just fine now :-D

Export Presets not available

Hey guys. Might be a noob question but I'm having an issue figuring out why my export presets in Media Encoder are only allowing me DV. Is there something I need to load or configure to allow me to get other export presets like HD?
Apologies. I'm an FCP guy moving into Premiere.

Assuming you're exporting something like a QuickTime, then all you'll see is DV presets--you're not missing anything. Other formats, like H.264, contain many more presets ranging from mobile devices to HD etc.
It's nothing to worry about though; just make your own. Specify the video codec and parameters you like, e.g. QuickTime Animation 1920x1080 square pixel 23.976 progressive, along with the necessary audio parameters, and then save your own preset. There are so many possible permutations that it just wouldn't be logical to create tons of presets.
If you have specific questions on building a preset for a particular output, fire away...

[11g] Edit- and Export links not available

Hi folks,
i noticed the following: If i open an analysis normally, there are links like Edit, Export etc. at the end of the table. If i open it via a Folder on a dashboard, the table shows, but these links are missing. How can i get these in this situation?
I'd like to have the dashboard as an entry point to get to the analysises quickly, but i want to export the data via this quick link?

That's not exactly what i'm looking for.
My question is the following: I want to provide the user with a Dashboard, which contains a Folder with the Analyses, which he needs for his work. From this folder, the user can go directly to the analyse, he wants to view. This works fine, but the analyse doesn't have the Export link, so if the user decides, he wants to export the data, he has to find the analyse in the catalog and to open it from the catalog, because by opening the analyse from the folder view, the links are missing.
So my question is: Can i change the viewing options of the folder view or the analyse, so that the Export link is shown, or is this a bug, or ???

Export options not available

I have imported MP4 HD files but after edit, on share menu export options are disabled. Therefore unable to export please help.

This past weekend I did a fresh install of Lion and all my apps. So after I installed the CS6 Production Suite, of coarse, no ProRes Codec in PPro CS6. Understandable. I decided not to re-install FCP 7, and just install FCPX, Motion 5 and Compressor. After all of that, still no ProRes Codec in PPro CS6. Okay, what's going on here. I took a shot and installed Quicktime 7 Pro. Then I found the ProRes Codec was showing up in PPro CS6. So everything I read on different message boards, that all I need to do to get the ProRes Codec, is spend $50 at the app store for Compressor, and you'll get the ProRes Codec. Doesn't seem to work for everybody.

H.264 export option not available.

I am trying to export some MPEG4 and MOV videos to H.264 but I don't see the option on the drop-down menu.....anyone know how to do this?

IDOC not available in intergeration Configuration

I have buld a screnaio from IDOC->XI->DB2
In intergeration configuration when i create receiver determination the IDOC is not available in the list of the softwatr compoent where as it is in Intergeration repository.
Can you tell me wht can be done in this case to get the IDOC.

In Receiver Determination or Interface determination you need to specify the sender Service.
Is it Business Service or Business System.
When you will open the right side icon to fill-up the IDOC name in the Interface parameter then you will get check box stating that Software componenet specific or All. Select All and see if you are getting the IDOC name.
If you are using the Business Service then, double click on Business Service Name under Service Without Party.
It will open the Business Service check in Sender tab if the IDOC name as interface is added or not. Its missing out so you can't see the IDOC name while creating Integration scenario objects.
Similarly you can test for Business system also, but for it you can't add IDOC name entry in Sender tab. You need to approach above process.

Custom Attribute not available in Available Fields section of Configuration

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to add a custom search field in contact search screen. For that i tried various options
Option1
Added a model attribute in component/view BP_CONT SEARCH/Search. The attribute got successfully added. But when i opened the Configuration tab, i could not see the attribute in the available fields.
Option 2
In the view CRMVC_SDESIGN, i created a new entry for my attribute in object type: BP_CONTACT and design object . But doing so, i got an error and was not able to add my attribute
Option3
Since the View context node 'Search' is bound to the Component Controller Context node 'Search'. I created my custom attribute in compoennt controller also. But this also did not help.
Option 4
I deleted the enhancement of the view and created a new enhancement. I created a value node in Search context node. But still the attribute is not available in the Availble Fields in the Configuration of component/view BP_CONT_SEARCH/SEARCH.
Kindly provide your valuable suggestions to resolve this issue.

Hi Radhika,
You need to enhance the search query structure as well in order to get the field in the configuration.
You can find the BOL structure for the corresponding context node bol model.
In your case, the BOL model is the search object 'BuilContactAdvancedSearch'.
The corresponding structure can be found at the BOL Model Browser, under Dynamic Query Objects
for the search object 'BuilContactAdvancedSearch'. The corresponding structure 'CRMT_BUPA_IL_CONP_SEARCH'
has to be enhanced with the new custom attribute. Only then, this field would be available in the configuration
when the following htm code gets executed when you open the configuration tab.

Here you can see that, it reads the parameter structure using the method SEARCH->get_param_struct_name( ) of
the context node.This is used for configuration as well.
Also if you have an F4 help for your custom attribute, you have to add it in the GET_DQUERY_DEFINITIONS( ) of the
view controller. These additional information will help you to understand better.

Excel-Export in ALV-Grid not available

I have a strange problem with the Export-functionality within ALV Grid. The Export-options "Spreadsheet", "Word processing", "Local file" and "Send" are not available at all PC's. I don't know if this issue is related to SAP Gui, Patches ...

Thanks for info - I was original thinking of the "Expert mode" option in some Report Writer outputs... but that was a different issue...
Is it user specific or PC specific? If the former, you might like to look in table SALV_BS_ADMIN (which can be maintained via report SALV_BS_ADMIN_MAINTAIN) as this can impact what the user sees in some ALV options - we were having problems a few weeks ago on an ECC5 system in this area - Note 1080608 and others explain more.

Hi all
We get the following warning message even though we are not using SSL.
"The SSL support feature is not properly configured. Https is not available."
I tried with the following parameter set to false in the MobileEngine.config, still the same warning occurs for each synchronization done. But the sync works fine.
MobileEngine.Security.SSLSupport=false
Had any body come accross this one, if so please let me know.

The error "The SSL support feature is not properly configured. Https is not available" will not cause any problems for you during synchronization. The reason that this error is displayed is due to the fact that by default MI is configured to support HTTPS Synchronization and not HTTP. This is because it is recommeded to use HTTPS sync inorder to transmit data in a secure manner and this is very necessary in customer production system. This so called error will not have any impact on sync but is just an information to the administrator. This can be disabled by the use of parameter <b><i>MobileEngine.Security.SSLSupport=false</i></b> but make sure that this parameter is set to false even before performing the first sync i.e before obtaining a device id. If you set this value to false after performing some syncs, the error is still visibile in either the Web Console or the NetWeaver Administrator because it would have been sent by the previous sync and these statments are retained and never purged. Hope this helps and clarifies your doubts.
