MAX MEMORY CARD 6110NAVIGATOR?

Can someone confirm for me that the 4GB or 8GB Micro SD Card is compatible with the N6110 Navigator?

the 6110 navigator is compatible with SDHC memory cards, i personaly have been using it with a 4GB sandisk SDHC card with no problems, other users have been using it with 8GB capacities, again with no problems.

Hi..i have a Nokia N72 (+128mb) and i want changing the memory card so i ask if i can put a 1gb memory or maybe 2gb memory without negatif effects and what is the best type of memory cards..thanks

You can run maximum of 2 GB cards. Check what type of cards that your phone support on the manual. Transcend, Kingston etc are better brands.

  • 8GB memory cards for N95 - Nokia says 4GB max

OK... I have a N95 (bought late Nov 07). Bought an 8GB memory card... all seems to work great.
Thing is Nokia list 4GB as the max memory card on their web site here - http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/N95
I assume 8GB is OK and reliable to use ??
Just checking - as I said, not seen any problems at all just curious as to the mismatch.
    cheers

I haven't seen a slowdown with lots of videos and music on a 2GB card in my N73, but I have seen a huge slowdown with a lot of MobiReader eBooks installed (around 100)- it takes four or five minutes sometimes to go from a book back to the library. It doesn't happen with only a few books installed (10 or so).
I haven't had much chance to check with my N95 that I was given for Xmas - it only came with a 1GB card and I only have a few songs plus DivX music videos and movies plus 20 books aboard so far, but so far I haven't seen any slowdown even with MobiReader.
I'm looking for an 8GB card for my N95 once one becomes available here and I can confirm it works reliably in my N95. Then the wife gets the N73 with the 2GB and my laptop gets the 1GB card. Guess I throw away the 256MB card currently in the laptop!

  • Use of memory card w/Z31

I recently started using my Z31 and am curious about the memory card feature.  For what have people used this memory feature?  What software might be needed, if any, to use an application that might use the memory card?  What is the max memory card size for the Z31?  Thanks for your help.

You can purchase a memory card up to 1 GB. You can use the card for viewing videos, music, programs, and files such as documents. You can purchase a SD card from any major retail store or online store.

  • How do I specify folder and file options for memory cards in LR4?

    Hello!
I have read the sections Set import and file-handling preferences and Specify Auto Import settings in the manual. But they don't seem to answer my question. The other stuff that's written about importing files in Lightroom seem to only cover the import of photos to the Lightroom catalog, which is not my primary concern, although I do want them imported to the catalog as well. But before the photos can go to the Lightroom catalog they need to be improted, in other words copied over from the memory card to the local disk drive. Simply put, all I want is for Lightroom to take over the responsibility from Canon EOS Utility and behave the same way when importing/copying files to the local disk drive. How do I set up Lightroom to do just that?
I just want this type of folder and file structure:
    J:\2010_08_02\IMG_0037.JPG
    J:\2010_08_02\IMG_0039.JPG
    J:\2010_08_22\IMG_0372.CR2
    J:\2010_08_22\IMG_0372.JPG
    J:\2010_11_29\IMG_1405.CR2
    J:\2010_11_29\IMG_1405.JPG
    J:\2011_06_17\IMG_2887.CR2
    J:\2011_06_17\IMG_2887.JPG
    ... etc!
    1. First things first, where the heck do I specify the destination folder for new photos?
There is an option titled Show import dialog when a memory card is detected under the General tab in Preferences, but there is no folder destination option associated with this.
    2. How do I tell Lightroom to leave original file names as they are (i.e. IMG_2887.CR2) and place them in a new sub-folder (i.e. 2011_06_17) of the destination folder (J:\) named after the capture date of the photo (July 17, 2011)?
There are a few options under the File Handling tab in the Preferences, but they don't seem to concern the importation of files to the local disk drive.
    3. This maybe should have been the first question really; is Lightroom capable of importing files from the camera or a card reader to the local disk drive at all?
I sure would expect it to be able to do that, but from the looks of it I am not too confident about that.
For starters I would like it to just copy my photo files, either directly from camera or from a card reader to a destination folder of my choice, in the same fashion that Canon EOS Utility does it. I don't wat to just import the files to the Lightroom catalog and start working with the files directly from camera or memory card. Hell no! It's not an external disk drive for God's sake!
    Please advise!

I'm not sure how it is now, but there used to be a dedicated "photo downloader" in Adobe Photoshop Elements at least up to version 6. Is this still part of Photoshop Elements? Or is it just available in Adobe Bridge? I don't remember though if it only imported files to the local disk drive or if it also added them to the library/catalog.
I've tested Downloader Pro and Lightroom 4 now for importing the photos to local disk drive. I also tested one application called Cam2PC Image Downloader.
The latter is actually called Cam2PC Image Browser and as its name suggests it's a software for browsing and doing basic changes to the photos, an image organizer. But it has a dedicated downlaoder called Cam2PC Image Downloader that can be very useful for importing photos. It comes either as a payed version or a freeware version.
I also tested one called Smart Photo Import. This one could be a good alternative to Downloader Pro, but I think it still needs many improvements, and it lacks a lot of the functionality of Downloader Pro. But to be fair, this does cost half as much as Downloader Pro (13 EUR or 17 USD compared to 30 USD).
I am most impressed by Downloader Pro. It has everything I could ask for really. But I was most impressed by its speed. I've done a simple speed test to see which one is faster and here are the results.
    Downloader Pro
    324 files (162 JPG & 162 CR2)
    Max speed: 21,25 MB/s
    Time: 02:58.6
    Lightroom 4
    Set to render "Standard" previews
    324 files (162 JPG & 162 CR2)
    Max speed: N/A
    Time: 03:41.7
Compared to Downloader Pro: 78% done at 02:58.6
    Rendering time: 04:35.5
    Total: 08:16.12
    Cam2PC Image Downloader
    324 files (162 JPG & 162 CR2)
    Max speed: N/A
    Time: 03:30.6
The max speed is the maximum transfer speed that ever occured during the transfer, and this is not something that the application is showing on it's own, it's the highest speed that I have seen with my own eyes. Unfortunately the other applications had no way of showing the speed, only Downloader Pro could show the speed. That's why it says N/A (as in not available).
As you can see Downloader Pro did the same job in shortest amount of time. Note that I could be transfering 2 or 3 cards worth of photos for the time it takes Lightroom to transfer just one.
The memory card was full when I started the test. It was a 4 GB Sandisk Ultra 30 MB/s card. The card reader was a Lexar USB 3.0 Professional. Although it was connected to a USB 2.0 port on Intel chipset motherboard (Intel X38, ICH9R). The destination folder was set to Desktop\(name of the application) on a Seagate 500 GB SATA (ST3500320AS) disk. All done on a Windows Vista PC with SP2.
One way to make Lightroom do this job more quickly is to choose "minimum" as previews rendering option. This way it doesn't spend as much time rendering the photos after being copied to the disk drive. Now, I have not tested this but I believe that Lightroom can start a second import of a second memory card whilst the first one is being copied. I'm not sure how it would affect the speed though, and you would need two card readers for this.
I wish I could skip rendering previews alltogether. I like to leave adding photos to the catalog and rendering previews for the last step. This is because it takes so long time and I like to use 1:1 previews, so I like leaving Lightroom to do this job in the morning or over the night.
I have learned to use prests now in the import dialog of Lightroom. So now it should not be a problem if I always want to copy new photos to the same location. If this location is changed I can recall it simply by choosing my preset. This is very handy.
All in all, Lightroom is very good at importing photos from camera or from a memory card reader to the local disk drive. But it's now my preferred way of importing photos to the computer. Which is why I have decided to purchase Downloader Pro. Thanks all for your help. I appreciate it!

  • Transfering recieved files to the memory-card!!!!

    Hi,
I transfer files/pictures to my E71 via the Bluetooth but have a couple of problems!
1- If the file is bigger then the available phone memory (max 110 meg!) then i can't transfer! That i understand but does it exist any way to configure the phone to save the recieved files directly to the memory-card?
2- Those files that do get transfered to the phone, you have to open first before being able to transfer it ti the memory-card! Problem is some times the phone memory is not enough to even open it so you can't open it nor save it on the memory-card!
3- There seem to be NO "transfer file" option between the phone memory and the card memory!
    Anyone knows something?
    Cheer's

If you go into Messaging, hit Options, choose Settings and then Other, then you can change the "Memory in use" from phone memory to the memory card. After that all incoming messages will be stored on the memory card.
You can also use Nokia PC Suite and use its Windows Explorer extension (Nokia Phone Browser) to copy files directly to the memory card also over Bluetooth (without going through Messaging at all).

Any one know when the iPad4 will be able to read 64gb exFAT memory cards?

Currently, the camera connection kit/iPad http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4101 can't read SDXC cards formatted ExFAT, and although not specified in the above link, 32GB cards are the max size. Next week when iOS 7 is released, maybe that will change.

  • Memory Card Memory gone

    Hi.
I plugged my phone into the computer yesterday, and at first the computer said something about blackberry drive not found, and I realised I hadn't put in my password for my phone to connect to the pc. Then it came up on the pc and I could open the drive. but almost everything is gone. There are now only 13 items showing, when I had hundreds. In the past, when I've hooked up my phone to pc, it has shown a 'blackberry' folder, music folders, ect. All of that is gone, it only shows those 13 items, on the phone aswell. But when I go look at available memory, it says I have no free space, as if everything is still there. I did a memory card repair, told it to save the lost clusters, and it says the repair was successful. I don't understand what happened nut Please is there a way I can get it all back??

    This could be due to
    1) Incompatible card. If your phone allows max 1GB and you use 2 GB your phone may not be able to read more than 1 GB
    2) Your card needs to reformatted. Check the total GB available.
Its should be close to the full memory size. If its more than 1% then you have corrupt card.
    3) Try using your card on your friends phone. Format using his phone. If you get the same GB as you got in your phone then card is corrupted. Else your phone needs checkingMessage Edited by babdi on 04-Jan-2007

  • Max flash card can be installed in 3620 router?

As far as I know, there are 2 types of Flash memory in 3620. 2 slots for SIMM inside,2 slots for CF card memory on Front panel.
SIMM sticks can be used in both 2600series and 3600series with a max single bank capacity of 16MB.(MEM3600-32FS doesn't work on 3620).
So that's SIMM DRAM sticks have different kinds, those for 2500 can't be used on 2600 or 3600.
Correct me if I am wrong.
What about CF card? Are they all the same except capacity, which means I can get a CF card can be used on any router with PC slot?
Is there also a max capacity limitation?
    on http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/3600/hardware/notes/PCMCIA.html,it mentioned MEM3600-4FC=, MEM3600-8FC=, MEM3600-16FC=, MEM3600-20FC=
    my question are
1.is there a specific kind of CF card for 3600 series or I can use any CF card for Cisco equipment(so I don't need to worry about MEM3600)?
    2.Does 3600(to be specific,3620) support CF card over 20MB?
I've never used CF Flash memory in Cisco routers before so I've no idea whether Im getting the right thing.
I've used CF micro hard-drive(4GB or 8GB) before,so what's the difference between the CF cards for regular use(like portable storage or camera) and the Cisco CF memory card.Obviously they have different slots(regular CF is way bigger),why the memory is still called CF and what's the connection with PCMCIA?Is it the same slot as those in laptops?
I guess CF is a storage or flash memory type, and PCMCIA(PC) is the slot standard. Then what's the slot of regular CF storage card?
I read a bunch of documents about these stuff and get really confused.
    Thanks.

2 slots for CF card memory on Front panelErrrr ... 3600 routers do NOT use Compact Flash (CF).  This particular model uses PCMCIA Flash memory cards.  CF was used starting from the 3700 and 2690.
Correct me if I am wrong. You are correct.  Parts exclusive to the 3600 can't be used anywhere else.
What about CF card? Are they all the same except capacity, which means I can get a CF card can be used on any router with PC slot? For the 3700 and 2691 the max size of the CF is 1Gb, 2Gb for  ISR G1 and 8 Gb for ISR G2.
I've used CF micro hard-drive(4GB or 8GB) before,so what's the difference between the CF cards for regular use(like portable storage or camera) and the Cisco CF memory card.
3620/3640/3660 routers use PCMCIA Flash cards (Type II).  Later generations use COMPACT Flash (CF) cards.

  • Xperia Z1 Memory Card

I bought a Xperia Z1 and it is expandable upto 64Gb. So i bought this Scan Disk Memory card but it is not showing in the phone. Does Xperia Z1 support exfat32 format?

SDHC are suppose to be formatted with FAT32, SDHC standard supports max of 32GB capacity.
SDXC (64GB and more) are always exFAT formatted out of the box, otherwise they cannot be used.
you can easily find out the filesystem by inserting the card to any SD reader (USB stick or built in laptop's reader) and checking it's properties on the computer (Windows XP with exFAT patch installed, Vista SP2+, Windows 7, Windows 8, some modern linux distros).
If your card is 64GB it should be formatted with exFAT filesystem, it is designed for exFAT, otherwise it might not work at all.
When everything have failed already, try to read the manual.

  • N73 - Memory card disconnecting all the time

Didnt have this problem before. It started happening when I updated to new firmware week ago. When I use data on memory card (mp3 / excel / word / copy data / take pictures / just surf memory card) it disconects!
With message: "Removing memory card is not safe if you don't select "remove memory card"."
Sometimes it passes only few seconds from acessing memory card to disconnecting, sometimes I manage to use memory card even for 10 or more minutes, max is about 1hour or so.
Memory card is takeMS 1GB miniSD and it worked fine before firmware update. How can it be fixed?
    Thank you!

  • Problem with 5300 and 2 GB memory card

    Hi,
I just bought 5300 phone and 2 gb micro sd card, sandisk.
And I am now storing music files to the card via usb connection and phone is shown to pc as a disk.
It transfers 990 MB of music and after that is says card is full.
From gallery it shows memory card as 2 gb card, and full status is 990 MB, free fine also. I tried transfer also with music manager same result. Like the 1 gb is the limit somehow.
    Is it ?

I also have problems with my new Kingston 2GB micro SD card on Nokia 5300. However quite different. I uploaded appr. 1.5 GB music and it worked fine. Then I switched the phone off. When I tried to switch it on again the screen started to flash and after 15 sec the phone switched off itself. It took for a while till I discovered that the problem somehow relates to the memory card. When it was removed the phone worked fine (no flashing, no switch off). I reformatted the memory card and everything worked fine till the next switch off. Then it started again. I updated the software (V 04.70), but it didn't help. I'm not 100% sure but it seems to me that the problem relates to the music player which tries to update the music library after the switch off and somehow it freezes the phone.
Any idea how to solve this?
    In short because I don't have a 5300 - No ...
However - something to try is to see if your card works without problems on a PC (via USB card reader) or laptop (some have memory card slots built in)
Lastly on Nokia's 5300 webpage it states that they only recommend using authorised cards ... it might be worth seeing if you experience the same issue with Nokia's own 2Gb microSD card ?
