MAX not finding my FP1600 Ethernet

I have an FP1600 ethernet module directly connected to a laptop. The laptop has a static IP of 25.0.0.1. I have cycled power on the FP module multiple times. MAX does not pick up any device. What is the default IP address of the FP module? I know MAX uses UDP broadcasting to find devices, however this does not seem to be working.
Someone please help,
thanks

The FP 1600 might have a different subnet configuration compared to your laptop. The best approach is to reset the 1600 module and reconfigure it using MAX. Follow the reset instructions from the manual below. Connect your 1600 module directly to the laptop by using a crossover cable or indirectly to a hub/switch by using a normal ethernet cable.
You may have to restart Max in order to see the device under remote devices with IP address 0.0.0.0.

  • Officejet 7410 Driver for Windows 10 does not find my wired (Ethernet) printer during installation

The driver apparently didn't install completely because I can't run HP Solution Center. I can access the web server on the printer by using the IP address in a browser.  I set it to a static address. The driver seems to install except that it won't find the printer when I select a wired network printer. This printer has been working for years with Windows 7. Surprisingly, I can still print, but I can't scan since the Solution Center won't run. If I use the print and scan doctor, it tells me I need a new driver, but if I then try download it from that program, it always fails. I have installed the driver with a data of Aug 3 2015.  That seems to be the latest one. I don't know whar else to do.  I need some help.

Welcome to the HP Community , I hope to help you with the installation issues you're having with your Officejet 7410 on Windows 10. Below are some suggestions I have for you to try. Let me know what happens. If you see any error codes or messages, please tell me the specifics. Start with power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer.  Perform a Clean Boot on your computer:1. Begin by typing “msconfig” in the Cortana Search Box and then click on MSConfig (Run Command)
Or on your keyboard press the Windows + R key at the same time and type Msconfig in the run window, then click on OK or hit enter.
    2. Now choose Selective Start-up
    3. Remove the check from Load Startup Items
    4. Click on the Services tab
    5. Check “Hide all Microsoft Services” and then click on Disable All
    6. Click on Apply and then on OK. 7. Click this link to download the full driver and software: HP Photosmart and Officejet Full Feature Software and Drivers Now open up the software and try scanning, and try printing too! Reminder: Go back in to the Clean Boot instructions and enable the start up services!  Good luck Show thanks for my reply to help you today by hitting the "thumbs up" icon below!

  • Why can I not find my hardware of RT system in MAX?

My test sytem include RT system based on PXI bus and Windows system installed in industrial PC.They are connected by LAN.
After I install the RT system and drivers, I can find all hardware of RT system through Remote system in MAX. But if I replace my hardware or controller in RT system.Always I can not find my hardware in MAX. So I must refresh in MAX continuously until I can find.

    s_yy,
Is the problem that you cannot find the hardware in MAX at all or that it requires refreshing for it to appear?
When you change/replace the hardware in your RT PXI system, you have to refresh the view in MAX in order for it to detect the changes - this will not occur automatically. You can refresh all items in MAX (View > Refresh) or you can refresh each item individually when it is selected. Keep in mind it may take some time for the hardware to initialize before you can detect it in MAX.

  • Mac mini can not find the NAS

In my network I have a Mac mini, AirPort Extreme base station and a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo v2. Everything is connected by cable. The problem is that the Mac mini can not find the NAS. Mac mini is looking for wirelessly connected devices, type TimeCapsule. How do I get my Mac mini to find the NAS and set the NAS as a source of data storage?

I have a ReadyNAS and use it as a Time Machine destination with no problems, even over WiFi. The ReadyNAS and Mac are both on the same LAN (even though the Mac is on WiFi), please check to see if your WiFi is on a different LAN to the Ethernet side of things, I have my Airport set to bridging mode so both sides of the AirPort count as the same LAN.
Next you need to check you have actually configured Time Machine in the ReadyNAS, as shipped it is initially turned off. You need to go to the ReadyNAS web management interface (FrontView) and then click on Backup on the left, and then select Time Machine. You also need to make sure Bonjour is enabled for the ReadyNAS, this is accessed by clicking on Services on the left and then selecting Discovery Services, make sure all the Bonjour options are ticked on.

  • Could not find a PPPoE server problem.

I have been running my G4 plugged into a netgear ethernet hub for quite some time to get online. I also have a wireless router connected to it on which I run my windows laptops. I never had a problem having them all online at one time. I didn't use my G4 for a few weeks, when I turned it back on and tried to get online, I got the "could not find a PPPoE server" message. If I unplug the ethernet cable from the hub and plug it directly to the DSL modem, it connects with no problem, plug it back into the hub and it won't connect. I swapped the hub for a Linksys 5 port ethernet 10/100 switch. Same thing happens and I get the same message, but it will not get online if any of the PCs are online, if I shut the PCs down then the mac gets online, but if I have the mac online then the PCs will not connect. I have been on the phone with the drones from earthlink and they have been useless. If you tell them that you are running any kind of routing device the will not help you at all. I am at a loss as to how to get around this, like I said, it was all working fine before. I am not sure if the problem is at my end or if earthlink did something at their end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you need to "spoof" the MAC address of the router or hub? some ISPs actually read and register the hardware MAC address of the first two devices downlinked. Modem and router, modem and G4, etc.
I stopped using a hub once switches got inexpensive and routers came with switch capability. Now have an all in one modem + router/switch which simplifies setup, wires, and only one device to worry about (but have backup modem and router etc from before in case anything should happen).
Possible that something happened. Or that your router needs to be reset. Or that a storm did something while you were gone, though you seem to have swapped devices enough to rule that part out. Or a bad cat5 cable that a mouse or cat gnawed on.
My guess is set the Linksys to the same MAC address of the hub you were using or call Earthlink again (hard I know) and have them re-authenticate the new router's MAC address.
Do you have a surge protector in front of your modem? and again an RJ45 filter before it goes out to your router or G4? I put all my equipment on APC UPS and going through surge and line protection to protect ethernet ports and equipment.

  • Could not find installation information, contact apple care ?

I am trying to re-install the OS according to the guide and after erasing the harddisk.
I am using OS X utilities and try to reinstall OS X.
Then the screen popped up : To Download and restore OS X, your computer's eligibility will be verified with Apple.
However, the message now I am getting is : Could not find installation information for this machine. Contact AppleCare.
Any body know how to deal with this ?

Make sure that your network connection satisfies the requirements for Recovery or Internet Recovery, depending on which you're trying to use. If possible, connect to the router with Ethernet.
    Reboot and try again.
Connect to a different network, if possible.
Wait a few hours and try again.

  • Time capsule problems: Mac does not find it

    Hi,
Although my Wi-Fi Network is properly functioning, and Time capsule is responsible for that, my iMac is not finding Time capsule when it comes to Time Machine back-ups. I have been backing-up my Mac for about three years and the problem appeared recently. What suggestions you all have? Should I Format my Time capsule and restart it all over again? How do I manage to keep my older back-ups?
    Thanks
    Luiz

    Hi
I thank you all for the efforts in trying to help our uneasy days! Let me tell you how I was able to solve the problem I had with Time Capsule.
As I said, my Mac would not find Time Capsule anymore.
    Followed this steps:
    1. Turned off Wi-Fi.
    2. Restarted my Mac with ethernet cable connecting Mac to Time Capsule.
    3. Entered Ethernet Network connection configuration and configured IPV6 to Link-local only. Applied changes.
    4. Opened Time Machine preferences. There it was my Time Capsule again! Selected it and ordered to back-up!
    5. It is backing-up again!
    Good luck to all!

  • Suddenly my PC can not find out TC's hard drive

I use TC as home sharing hard drive and connect my PC with TC through ethernet cable, but suddenly can not find it at my computer

That sounds like firewall. Or some fault in ethernet.
Are the connectivity lights on.. both the TC ethernet port and the PC port should be alight?
If so, turn off all firewalls and make sure the computer is set in home .. not work or public area.
In the command window type ipconfig /all
Make sure you are getting an ip from the TC.. if not manually set it.
Some recent windows updates have been causing issues.. this is so familiar to any windows user.. a perfectly working system is ruined because MS thinks they are smarter.. use system restore to roll back to time when the PC worked.
From there work out which update killed it by loading them one by one.
This is why I moved to Mac btw.

  • Airport utility can not find extreme station after upgrade to 7.5.2

i been using extreme for about 3 years and it was fine until yesterday i upgrade to 7.5.2, it result i lost the internet. opened airport utility from my macbook, said" it can not find any wireless device" but on the top right of mac windows, the signal sign is still there,
i suspect it is something wrong with the IP setting, but i has't changed any thing myself, maybe the new updates change it?

    Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
Your system details don't mention what type of Mac you have, but if you can move it near to the AirPort Extreme and connect an Ethernet cable to a LAN port on the Extreme, then AirPort Utility should be able to see it. Once AirPort Utility can see it you can begin to investigate the problem in more detail.

  • Mini Not Finding Internet!?

For some reason my Mac Mini is not finding the internet even though the internet is working...
Our internet comes into a router which splits it to mine and 2 other macs an imac through Ethernet and another mini through wireless....Both are getting the internet fine.
I however, am not! The diagnostics knows that the Ethernet is there with a green light, infact they are all green apart from the bottom 2 Internet and IP.
I thought it was the cable itself, so took it out of the back and put it into a macbook, the macbook picks the connection up fine; back into my computer, no good yet again.
Re-started a few times, interestingly though, when the OS starts up and mail, messenger and safari all open, the mail and messenger crash each and every time, trying to connect, is this causing anything?
I just don’t understand, its not the cable as the mini knows something is plugged in, its not the connection because 3 other computers are fine.
    What is happening?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

I was having the same kind of issue and after trying everything I could find, including resetting PRAM and even trying to reset the SMC (http://docs.info.apple.com/article?artnum=303446) I returned the Mini to the local Apple store and they found the problem to be a bad logic board. Hope you have better luck....

someone will be by to edit, in the meantime, NEVER post your serial number.
They wanted you to go to the Hardware section of System Profile and the part that looks like
    MACBOOK PRO N,1
Anyone here has Mac Pro of 1,1 thru 6,1
http://www.everymac.com is a good place to look at model specs and history of that model, max RAM and other features.
