Max number of IP phones per blade

I have read in aCisco manual that the maximum number of IP phones is 18, assuming they use 15,4Watt. On a WS-X4148-RJ45V combined with a PWR-C45-4200ACV that leaves us with 30 ports we can not use for VoIP useing PoE. Or am I wrong?

this is not correct.
every port in the blade can be used for ip phones.
maximum wattage for the WS-X4148-RJ45V is 7 watts per port.
power allocation from an 4148-RJ45V for a cisco ip phone is 6.3 watts. (6.3 x 48= 302.4 watts)
with 2 supII+ & 5 4148-RJ45Vs in a 4507, ~635 watts are used for the blades.
with a 2800watt PS, this provides for 1400 watts for voice power. this allows for upto 222 out of 240 ports that can receive voice power.

  • Max number of content types per list/library

What is the maximum number of content types for a list or library?
I read a thread on this forum where they talk about a maximum of 2000 content types per library for SP 2013:
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/c53df140-8ed6-4438-8a49-95cdc6ac5fd5/number-of-content-types-per-library?forum=sharepointgeneral
Is this also true for lists in SP 2010?
    Thanks for your help!
    Thorsten

    Hello Thorsten,
I don't see a hard limit in the capacity management article on Technet:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262787(v=office.14).aspx#ListLibrary
But I do see limits to number of columns, which of course has a correlation to content types.

  • How to restrict max number of client connection per extend server?

Does anybody point me or tell me what is the vm property or config element I need to put so that an extend client will not accept more than specified number of connections at any give point in time.

    Hello,
Look at http://coherence.oracle.com/display/COH34UG/acceptor-config the <connection-limit> should do what you want.

  • Server 2008 R2 RDP: limit max number of rdp connections per user group?

    Hello everyone,
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 with RDP installed.
I want to create a couple of user groups which will have 5 different users in each. Then I would like to limit RDP connections, let's say 2 connections for the first group and 3 connections for the second group. For example, if 2 users from Group 1 are connected
then when a 3rd user from Group 1 tries to connect it will be rejected to connect, but 3 users from Group 2 still can connect. Is it doable?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Max. number of WLCs per WCS

    Hi,
I know this is a fairly basic question but I can't find answer in WCS Q&A's etc.
I'm looking at a deployment where there will be many small sites with only 5 or 6 APs and a 2106 WLC. Each site will be in a different mobility group.
I know WCS licensing counts APs, but is there a max. number of WLCs?
    Thanks, MH

    Hi Mark,
The supported number of WLC's per WCS is based on the WCS Platform used :)
    Minimum server requirements
    Cisco WCS High-End Server
    • 3000 lightweight access points, 1250 standalone access points, 750 wireless LAN controllers
    • Two Intel® Xeon Dual Core CPU's; 3.0 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 200 GB HDD
    Cisco WCS Standard Server
    • 2000 lightweight access points, 1000 standalone access points, 150 wireless LAN controllers
    • Intel® Dual Core CPU; 3.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB HDD
    Cisco WCS Low-End Server
    • 500 lightweight access points, 200 standalone access points, 50 wireless LAN controllers
    • Intel® CPU; 3.06 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 30 GB HDD
CiscoWorks WLSE Models 1130-19 or 1133 running Cisco WCS
    • 1500 lightweight access points, 100 wireless LAN controllers
    • Intel Pentium 4 CPU; 3 GHz, 3 GB RAM, 38 GB HDD

  • Max number of VMs per free ESXi hypervisor?

    VMware Community,
I've just installed the free ESXi 5.5 hypervisor and I'm wondering if the same virtual machine limits apply to the standalone scenario as vCenter? Can I actually run 512 VMs? What, if any, is the max number of VMs I can run on a free version of ESXi?

As of ESXi 5.5 most limitations were removed and only an 8 vCPU limit per virtual machine remains. So unless I'm mistaken, the mentioned 512 VM per host (see http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsphere5/r55/vsphere-55-configuration-maximums.pdf) apply to the free Hypervisor too.

  • Is there a max number of Apple pro prints allowed per order? I tried 300, then 65 and neither worked. At $2.99 per for shipping, it is expensive to order 20 sets when I used to do just one for all.

Is there a max. number of Apple pro prints allowed per order with the updated iPhoto/Mountain Lion?
I have been using the system for years and have had no issues, but this first try under Mountain Lion I was told the max was 300 prints per order.
It order did not go through, nor did one with 65 photos.  When I tried 2, it was fine, but at $2.99 shipping, plus tax,
paying $60 to get all 300 of my photos shipped is unreasonable.
Is this a glitch in the new OS?  Hopefully it will be fixed.

  • Max Number of threads per Process in Solaris 8

I'm running into qpplication which crashes with a segfault when the LWP for that process hits about 255, i'm trying to find the maximum number of threads per process using sysconf and its returning -1

  • Max Number of apps allowed on the phone

I heard some where that the max number of pages is 9. So, if you download a bunch of free apps and some paid apps, where does the apps go after 9 pages? I wish the next update from apple includes a filing tool. It would be nice to put apps in a folder in a similar catagory in the app store. For examples, all games in the game folder.

It will slow down the backups when you sync. Having lots of apps will not slow down the iPhone, since only one app can run at a time, and the size of the apps are tiny - most are less than 1 MB (i.e. you would be hard-pressed to come anywhere close to filling your iPhone with apps).

  • Max number of chars in process message MSEL?

Hi, what is the max number of characteristics can be used in process message category's MSEL table? Right now, I am using more than 99 characteristics and I get a short dump DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION. Is it really limited to 99 characteristics and if it is true, is there an OSS note to change it to allow more than 99?

  • Max number of persons in contact groups - Nokia Lu...

The max number of persons allowed in a contact group is (as far as I know) restricted to 20 persons. This seems very low and I wonder why this restriction is applied. A limitation of 20 persons in a group is not practical. Any explanation or any idea if this can be changed in the future?

As you've discovered the maximum number of contacts you can have in a contact group is 20.  If you'd like this limit to be changed to a higher number you really should post a request or add your votes to a similar request on Microsoft's user voice fo....  This is the place that Microsoft created to field user requests for enhanced options for windows phone.

  • Max number of records in MDM workflow

    Hi All
    Need urgent recommendations.
We have a scenario where we need to launch a workflow upon import of records. The challenge is source file contains 80k records and its always a FULL load( on daily basis) in MDM. Do we have any limitation in MDM workflow for the max number of records? Will there be significant performance issues if we have a workflow with such huge number of records in MDM?
    Please share your inputs.
    Thanks-Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
Yes it can cause performance overhead and you will also have to optimise MDIS parametrs for this.
Regarding WF i think normally it is 100 records per WF.I think you can set a particular threshold for records after which the WF will autolaunch.
It is difficult to say what optimum number of records should be fed in Max Records per WF so I would suggest having a test run of including 100/1000 records per WF.Import Manager guide say there are several performance implications of importing records in a WF,so it is better to try for different ranges.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Max number of rows in a BEX structure

    Hi gurus,
we need to create a structure with 164 key figures, and before starting doing it, does anybody knows which is the max number of rows that can be created on a BEX structure?
I'm not asking about max number of rows on a query, i'm asking about the number of entries that you can manually create on a structure. Is there a maximum?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Max number of threads in Java?

    Hi,
I am running into a bug now that I am testing my working code. Basically, my program creates a bunch of objects that talk to each other. Each object is a thread, and at a given time (there is a one object that keeps track of time) a thread may choose to message another thread. My problem is that when I create more objects, my code doesn't run to completion. For example, when I have 10 objects talking to each other, things work fine. But if I have 15, they all run for a little bit, then the program seems to just hang and not do anything.
Is there a limit as to how many threads I can have? If I was out of memory or something, I'd get an exception, right? But I don't get anything - it just seems like things "freeze up".

    15 threads? shouldn't be a problem.
I think th emax threads allows runs in thousands..if not ten of thousands.Java process threads itself use about 600 or more threads. howevr, it could also be the underlying system restr8iction on the number of threads allow per process????
for you case: it's highly likely you run into the max # of threads.
I can only think of two reasons for your application to freeze:
    1. Deadlock
if you have an object that is synchronized..than you might have run into a deadlock (race-condition)
    for example:
Object A has the key for Object X , and waiting for Object Z
Object B has the key for Object Z, and waiting for Object X
as you can see..they will never gives up the lock....so you're in a dead lock.
    2. Low memory resource. (Memory - Paging and Thrashing)
Each of your thread is using up the resouces (memory) and processing power.
When you reach the max or near max and needs to create more memory..the garbage collector kick in
and try to reclaim some unused memory. This can slow down your application dramatically if the garbage
    collector is invoke often.
Also..paging is performed when you reach max memory..the operating system keep on paging your memory (usually happens when there's a lot of threads and not enough memory. If this happen..than it
can cause your program to becomes freeze like....remeber..each thread is given a small amount of time to
perform a task..if the time it takes to load a page for a thread is almost equals to context switch time..than
no work is really done..and your program "freeze"
solution..redesign you app to prevent thrashing.
it is likely paging is the culprit..but i would not dismiss deadlock issues.

  • What's the max number of columns a table can have on 32 bit OS & 64 bit OS

What is the max number of columns a table can have on 32 bit OS & 64 bit OS ?
Edited by: sameer naik on 02-Jul-2010 02:11

For TimesTen 7.0 and 11.2.1 releases the limit on the number of columns per table is 1000 for both 32 and 64 bit TimesTen. This can be found in the documentation under System Limits.
