Max numbers of activations of Acrobat are reached
After a crash of my HDD and new installation of Windows 7, I can't install my Adobe Acrobat 8.1, because the max numbers of activations of Acrobat are reached.
Before the crash I use Adobe Acrobat 8.1 with full licensed.
What can I do in order to install my current version 8.1
Activations by internet was not possible also by phone I don't reach somebody in order to clarify this problem .

For anyone with similar problems, it looks like docid 437493.1 is useful. Upgrade clients to at least 10.2.0.3 to defeat a sqlnet problem.
Just tried it with the 10.2.0.5 patchset and it seems to be working and not generating the 104 error on the OID server. -

Hey, anybody out there? My serial numbers and activation codes don't work and I don't see anyway, through your menus to reach a PERSON!!

Not much happening out there.Try the following:
Visit www.adobe.com
Click the MENU link near the upper-right
Click the ABOUT ADOBE link near the upper-right
Click the Contact Us link.
There are some phone numbers there you could try. I imagine if you call Sales and say you're having a problem they might be able to transfer you to a support line, though I haven't tried it myself.
I don't think there's much help we can give you here on the forum with that particular problem, unfortunately.

It is a failed hard disk to the pc and was not able to deactivate the license adobe.
Now I replaced the hard drive and reinstalled the software but it tells me that all licenses are used.
Is it possible to unlock the licenses in use?

Invoices not posted for accounting(Error:Max. no of items in FI is reached)

I have an issue in the billing document.It is not getting posted for Accounting even it is 23(230)and in some cases it is 30 lines line items in it.
It is shoing the error as Max. no of items in FI is reached.
This problem is in Production client only.As we have seen and checked the setting in all the client. It is same every where.
Could any one help.
The SAP help says:The number of accounting line items are restricted to 999 therefore your billing document line items should be significantly less than that to prevent a failure to post an accounting document.
There are two options open to you, one is to split the billing document automatically each time a maximum number of line items are reached, take a look at IMG > Billing >Country Specific Features > Maximum number of Billing Items, then in your copy control line item Data VBRK/VBRP include the following codeu201DHi,

Got an (unlocked) iphone 4s from US and tried activating in India but it throws an error saying 'unable to activate bcos the activation server cannot be reached' ..I tried connecting to itunes through my laptop but it does not detect my iphone..pls help

As kb1951 states, unless this phone was purchased directly from Apple, it is not officially unlocked. In the US, only Apple sells officially unlocked iPhones. The message you got generally means your phone was hacked to unlock it...jailbroken...Apple's servers have detected such & are preventing your phone from activating...there's nothing wrong with the activation servers.
You'll need a sim card from the carrier your phone is locked to in order to activate it. If you don't know what carrier, you'll have to call AppleCare in the US to determine this info. Be aware, US carriers will not authorize official unlocking unless you are a customer that used the phone on their network. Thus, there is most likely no way for you to get this phone officially unlocked.

I have a new device. When selecting the language and country I am trying to connect to a wifi connection and getting the error 'Your Iphone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting to your Iphone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a few minutes.
Where exactly did you get this phone?
Do you have a SIM in the phone?
There are 2 primary causes for this.
Either you don't have a SIM in the phone, which is REQUIRED to activate it, or the phone was hacked to unlock it. -
Problems activating the Acrobat Pro part of the CS 4 software.
I am having problems activating the Acrobat Pro program which is part of the Academic Version of CS4 -Design Premium that I bought. Once I finally got most of CS4 activated (and that had several problems as well!), I just kept getting the request to fill in my serial number. Each time I tried using the only Serial Number I had been issued, I would see imediatly a red "X" to the right of the "incorrect" serial number, along with a message that my time using the software had expired.
I have called and E-mailed Adobe several times now, and tried all of Adobe's suggestions: removed certain files, uninstall everything and the reload from the begining, do both, etc. So far, nothing has worked. As I said all the other probrams are now activated, but the only thing activated right now is my level of frustration with Acrobat Pro. Can anyone help me on this? I would really appreciate it.

ThomasE365You do not activate Acrobat from the suite. You activate another program in the suite, then Acrobat should be activated. If you are having a problem, then I recommend de-activating, uninstalling everything. Run the CS4 clean script: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html

Ask someone who does have a computer running iTunes for help.
Take your iPad to an Apple Store and ask them for help. -

I had just finished updating my iphone 5 to ios 7 via wifi, so next i tried to update my ipad mini the same way. It initially said there was an error during downloading and I tried it again several times with the same error. I then connected my ipad to itunes to update there, but no luck. I tried to restore my ipad from itunes and i got a restore error 3004 message, so i reset it directly from my ipad. Now when I try to activate my ipad i get an error saying it cannot be activated because the activation seriver cannot be reached. My internet is working fine, everything works, and it cannot connect to itunes store when i plug my ipad in. My ipad appears on itunes as well. I tried putting my phone in recovery mode and restoring and updating, but that did not work either. I am not sure what else to do. Any suggestions?

I am trying to activate my brand new iPad mini, I have fully charged it up, languge, country, wi fi but it stats that the 'activation server cannot be reached and to try again in a few minutes'.
Only I have tried and tried now to activate to no avail and also tried to activate through iTunes which has also failed
on and off has also not worked unfortunately

Volume setting sometimes ignored
I've notices (macbook) that the volume setting in OS X is sometimes ignored by applications (like quicktime, idvd etc). It just goes on max. volume, although i told os x my volume has to be 50% for example. After clicking in the menu bar (where it st
