Max RF Power Spec

I am looking for the Maximum Power Settings Spec for the 3600 AP.  The one from 2008 is too old. Does an update exist?
The AP Spec itself does not show power levels by channel and regulatory domain which is what I need.
If I can't get the spec, I will have to query the AP using "show ap config 802.11x apname" for each config I need.
Thanks.

Marvin,
     Try going here:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/ps11983/prod_installation_guides_list.html
the fourth link down has an excel sheet that lists the channel/power

  • Headphone out, power specs?

Does anybody know if Creative has published specs (say, in a product data sheet) for my USB X-Fi Surround 5.
I would like to know what the maximum power, voltage, and/or current out of the headphone out jack are. At what values do you start getting distortions in the signal
Currently I am considering a headphone purchase, and I would prefer not to need an additional amplifier to dri've the headphones. The output capabilities of the sound card of course limit which models I can consider. My current canalphones, which are slightly falling apart on me, are nominally 6 ohms impedance and 2 dB/mW SPL, so of course the X-Fi Surround is powerful enough to dri've those. Consequently, they aren't exactly the best reference point to go by.
Failing having any technical data, can anybody else share experiences with headphones using the X-Fi Surround What is your volume set to If you just tell me the model number of your headphones, I can look up the stats.

  • Need power spec for System Fan Header MSI K9N4 Ultra-F

I need the power spec for Fan Header MSI K9N4 Ultra-F motherboard
I want to use a Panoflow 2.13 Watt fan on the cpu heatsink. Will this
fan burn out the header? I don't have the board yet (it's in the mail - really)

Forgot to add fan headers can take at least 6W/0.50A fans.

  • Aironet 1300 max transmit power

I have 1310G with integrated antenna(EU version, max output power is 5mw.
Is there any way to set it 30mw?
If I use external antenna EU version, it can be set to 30mw.

As you are using an ETSI Access Point, the maximum EIRP is 20 dBm / 100mW.
The 1310G have an integrated 13dBi antenna. Therefore 5mW (7dBm) is the maximum available transmit power as this would be:
    13dBm antenna + 7dBm transmit power = 20dBm.

  • Z97 MPOWER MAX AC power connectors... are all required?

I am building a system with an i7-4790K and the Z97 MPOWER MAX AC board.  I see that it has 4 different power connectors:
    24-pin (manual calls it JPWR1)
    8-pin (two 4s side-by-side JPWR2)
    4-pin (JPWR3)
    6-pin (JPWR4)
As I understand it, JPWR4 (the 6-pin) is optional and can supply power to things.
My question is: are the other three REQUIRED?  What is JPWR3?  I do not have a 4-pin connector that I can see in my Seasonic X-560 Gold which is Haswell compatible according to Seasonic.

It's very nice motherboard I have to say, will serve well

  • Mac Pro max GPU power consumption limit?

    Hey guys,
What's the max power consumption limit for the Mac Pro's 2 GPU Mini PCl-e power slots? I have to know because I have to decide which GPU I plan on buying. I'd be thankful if someone helped me with this.
    Oh and it's a Mid-2012 12-core Mac Pro.
    Cheers!

you might want to look at www.barefeats.com and then probably limit to Mac edition cards. Budget and what you hope to achieve. And whether you want it mostly for games in Windows and w/o boot screen or even willing to add a 2nd PSU just for power and 2  x 8-pin plus 2 x 6-pin power.
EVGA Mac Edition GTX 680 is two 6-pin and $580 area.
    AMD has Mac Edition 7950
You will actually find more about unsupported cards and their use on MacRumors. And you do need 10.8.3+ for most anything beyond Apple's ATI 5x70.
I don't think looking at power usage is where I would have started my search.

  • NSS 300 series confusing power specs

    Hi,
I am trying to figure out the minimum UPS specs required to use with a NSS324 NAS.  But on the Cisco documents (quick start guide and admin guide) the text are quite confusing. There is a table where the power input for the 2 Bays unit (NS322) is said to be 7 Amps and 3.5A for the models 324 and 326. As the specs does not states at which voltage are these current measured (in a range from 100 to 240V), I assume it to be at the minimum (100V) or 700VA ("W" power factor = ?). 700W for two HD and one motherbard? And half that figure for 4 and 6 bays? That does not sound right to me. The same documents inform that the UPS must operate for 10 minutes (minimum) and be able to provide 350W.  That is not the same to say that you MUST provide 350W FOR 10 minutes.  If this is true, buying an UPS from APC I must choose an 1200VA unit, that seems a bit overkill to me.  Someone has a better picture for this scenario? I would appreciate any help!

  • MSI 845G Max-L power problem?

My system is about a month old as follows:
    MSI 845G Max-L (MSI-6580)
    P4 2.26 Northwood 533bus w/stock Intel fan
    512meg Corsair XMS 2700
    MSI Geforce4 4400Ti
    SB Live 5.1
    Maxtor 40Gb ATA 133 7200rpm
    56X Aopen CD-rom
    16X10X40 Lite-on CD-rw
    420watt PS
It was bought and assembled from Ibuypower.com with the harddrive formatted only... no OS installed. I installed WinXP Pro and installed all necessary drivers . Everything was running GREAT until about a week ago, something strange began to happen. When using the shut down option in WinXP, and using "turn off" my computer will power down and sometimes spontaneously reboot instead of the power shutting off completely. Sometimes it will delay 3-4 seconds with all power off, including the case fans, lights, cpu fan, then powers back up. Last night, I powered down before bed and it stayed off...at least that's what I thought... when I woke up this morning, it was back on again. I can't figure for the life of me what is going on.. any help would be appreciated.   ?(

make sure all wake on options are of in bios

  • Msi MPower MAX AC Power Saver Question

In the msi bios how do you enable the power saving feature so when the pc is idle or under light load it throttles down to 1.6 ghz.I am using offset now 4.7 with +35 offset for 1.264volts.Any help appreciated.

i think he wanted freq. to drop when the CPU is in idle
if this is correct you need to enable  "EIST" and "C-State" states
also you can try switching within windows power profile to "Balanced"
[in some machines when its set to high performance this prevent CPU freq. throttling at idle]

Mention in Spec.:Radio output power: 32.5 dBm maximum (varies by country) .
Any list of country+model for output power? Which model of ATC-2TB has Max. Power?

    Hi,
This is Marcus from Application Engineering at National Instruments.  I have reviewed over your math and you are correct in your calculations.  To determine the power output of your PXI-5422 you will have to know the Vpp which you are using and also the load that you will be connecting to the device.  These factors will then determine the power output of your PXI-5422.

  • Cisco 2960X - power inline auto max 15400

    Hello,
I have a new stack of five 2960X's and recently started to configure the stack, and found the "power inline auto max 15400" on my 3rd switch in the stack.  I did a "show power inline" and confirmed it set the max to 15.4 instead of the default 30.0 found on the other switches in the stack.  I (nor anyone else) has entered this command on any interfaces on this stack.
What would trigger this to appear if it was not manually entered?  I noticed this on a single switch in another stack I was working on previously as well.
    Thanks,
    Matt

If you do a show run all you will see the configuration on the port is :
     power inline auto max 15400
     power inline static max 15400
    If you change it to
    power inline auto max 30000
    the
    power inline static max 15400
    will go away.
Not sure why some switches default on 15400 and others on 30000.

  • How much can a 430 watt power supply take?

    Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me out.  See below for my rig.  Do I have too many components for my Antec 430 watt True power?  I haven't been able to find any accurate power ratings for these components.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    CD151

I agree you should be fine, and that the site overestimates a bit (it says my setup should have at least 386 watts, and I've been fine on my 380W PSU for over a year now of near 24/7 operation...even though I believe that the PSU's max possible output across all rails is only 330W total).  The bottom line is that any modern PSU from a decent manufacturer (and Antec is a pretty good choice for PSU's) will do just fine.
Note that the PSU calculator site uses the *max* possible power consumption for all the components (i.e. the Athlon64 CPU *does not* draw 89W of power all the time, or even all the time when it is at 100% utilization), and the same applies for the other components as well.  A little while ago I purchased a power monitor thingy that plugs into the wall socket and has a readout that displays the current power draw, as I was fed up with people always thinking that my PSU was woefully inadequate for my setup.  At idle, my system, with all its drives and PCI cards and overclocks, pulls a grand total of 150W of power.  At 100% CPU utilization (Prime95 torture test), it pulls a little under 190W.  At full CPU and GPU utilization (playing HL2, and the rthdribl demo), the total power drain is always under 225W.  Now let's bear in mind that this is power drain from the outlet, *not* power applied to the board.  Because the PSU is, at best, 85% efficient, 15% of this energy (at least) is lost as heat in the PSU, meaning that only about 192W is actually going out to the board at full CPU/GPU load, and since the PSU is capable of sending up to 330W out to the board (assuming it performs up to spec, which it should given Antec's reputation), I have quite a bit of headroom even on my "small" 380W PSU, even though I'm running more hardware than most users.
So anyways, the moral of the story is just get a quality PSU from a manufacturer that is reputable for making good PSU's, and you shouldn't have to worry about a thing.

  • Using PWM and digital outputs of myDAQ to power multiple solenoids

    Hello,
I am attempting to use LabVIEW and myDAQ to power 3 independent solenoids with PWM. I am new to Labview, so I am having trouble grasping the best was to use a digital output to power my solenoids. I have many codes to generate PWM to digital output, but I cannot figure out how to actually power my solenoid from these signals. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Zach

Google ULN2003 which is a relay/solenoid driver chip. The digital outputs of your card feed to the inputs of the chip, Review the max current/voltage specs of your solenoids and compare to teh driver chip max ratings to ensure the chip can power them.
How fast do you plan to PWM the solenoids? Can they achieve your PWM rate?
