Max Size of tables in UIX

Question

I have one BC4J project with very width tables, and I want to know how I can Limit this width of the table in a UIX page.
I write:

And also I try to limit the width in the component in the column, and don't limits nothing.
I don't know if I can do it.

HTML treats width attributes more as a minimum width than an absolute width, and UIX works the same way. So if any content in your column is larger than the width specified, the column will take that extra width.
There are a few things you can try, but they will only work if your table has extra padding in its columns that is causing it to be too wide. The first is to remove the "width='90%'" attribute from your table. That makes the column take at least 90% of the width of its parent element. If you remove it, the absence of that attribute means the table will take only the space it needs.
Similarly, if the columns themselves have padding you should be able to remove the padding by removing any width settings on them. Also, make sure you have wrapping allowed in the columns, because that helps a lot when there are text strings.
If that doesn't work and the table is still too wide, I suspect there isn't any padding in the columns and the content itself is too wide. If so, you might consider a UI change which uses detail disclosure to only display the information in some of the columns when it is requested.
