MaxDB going offline after log recover

Hello,
I've got a problem with my standby instance. I would like to import data into standby instance from autolog files generated by master instance. I am trying to use dbmcli tool + its utility session.
My problem is, that after data recovery my database instance going offline. Is it normal behavior of MaxDB 7.5?

Hello Konrad ,
Please update with additional information:
-> What are the versions of the source & target database instances?
-> Please update with outputs of the following commands:
dbmcli -s db_enum
Dbmcli -s inst_enum
-> Are you SAP customer?
-> "My problem is, that after data recovery my database instance going offline. Is it normal behavior of MaxDB 7.5?"
I think that there are some problems with the procedure steps you was running…
Please update with your script or dbmcli commands you was executed.
Please check the errors in knldiag file in the target database Rundirectory.
->Did you try?
Create the databackup medium DataCompl_recover pointed to the databackup of the source database.
Transfer the database instance to the ADMIN operational state:
Dbmcli -d <TargetDB> -u <DBM>,<dbm>
dbmcli on <TargetDB> >db_admin
OK
dbmcli on <TargetDB> >db_connect
OK
<Import the complete data backup from source to <TargetDB>  (initializing <TargetDB>  using the
backup medium DataCompl_recover created for <TargetDB> >
dbmcli on <TargetDB> >db_activate RECOVER DataCompl_recover
dbmcli on <TargetDB> >db_state

Now go offline after you have printed a copy and must be turned off and on for printing. And then press the last thing in the print queue and then goes back online. • HP Printer goes offline after software update!@

I'm having trouble with printer going offline on two of my computers:
    (imac 9,1 & 2014 macbook air)
    Printer: HP officejet 8500a Plus
I repaired the permissions on both hard drives to see if it was a cups/communication issue and deleted and reinstalled the software/printer.
This is really frustrating! any help or insight would be appreciated... I don't feel like code hunting tonight...

  • HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m wireless goes offline after system is shutdown

I am using the HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m on a Dell XPS 16 with Windows 7 64bit. I have setup the printer to connect to the Belkin wireless router so it is on the network. I have setup the printer numerous times and had it working over wireless many times. After the PC is shutdown the printer goes offline. I have to rerun setup over and over again to bring wireless back online. I added the MAC address to the Belkin router, and I have the device trusted in my Norton Firewall. I keep seeing "HP Network Support Automatic (Delayed Start)" in services, but changing it does not seem to make any difference I still need to rerun setup again after the system is shutdown. I am also seeing two printer icons in Devices and Printers. One is just the Photosmart Printer with a generic printer icon; and the second is Photosmart Printer, Scanner, Copier with a picture of the Photosmart which I believe it should be. I have run the setup at least 10 times, and I keep getting a good working wireless system then after the machine is shutdown for the day the printer goes offline and will not print again. How can I prevent the printer from going offline in wireless mode?

Setting a static IP address may help this issue:
    - Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
    - Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
    - Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
    - On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you know what that is, set an IP outside that range but no higher than 254 (the last number in the address). If you do not know this, enter the current IP address.
    - Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
    - Leave the gateway and DNS blank. Click 'Apply
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • Printer goes offline after reboot (windows vista)

I'm running the latest version of bonjour for windows and vista is running the latest patches. Here's the problem: I can use bonjour to add my HP Laserjet with no problems and its prints perfectly. All is good until I need to restart the computer. After reboot, the printer is listed as offline and nothing I've tried can change the status. I can delete the printer and rerun bonjour and it works again until the next reboot. I don't know what changed but I use to be able to print all the time without this problem. Anyone have this problem or any solutions.
    Thanks

Same problem with here, except I've got three computers: one Mac and two WinXP (SP3) pc's. The mac has no problems but both PC's see my Canon PIXMA ip1800 as offline after they reboot. A re-run of the Bonjour setup fixes the problem until the next reboot. I've got the printer connected to an Airport Extreme Gigabit N base station. All software and firmware (on everything) is up to date. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Media from memory recorder goes offline after downloaded to FCP

Hi guys, I just bought a Sony HVR Z5U with the Memory Recording unit. My problem is once I get the media into FCP and turn of the recording unit, the media goes off line, even after saving the project. Is there a setting I don't know about here to save the media within my hard drives so I don't have to keep all footage on the compact flash card?

Apology accepted. I've always Logged and Captured footage from tapes, did the editing, saved the project to a external and it has always been there when I went back to work on it. I didn't know you had to save media from a recorder unit to the external first, because I have never dealt with it before. Thanks for the help.

  • Why is my video going offline after its captured?

I have captured my content several times in both "batch capture and capture now" after its captured it seems to go offline when the source is removed.
    Please advise.

My scratch disk is located via my external drive. i did more research and found that I should have created a folder within the scratch disk settings so that the media would save for later use without my camera being attached.
Does this sound correct to you?
Well, it's best to have them in their own folder... But as long as you had set a scratch disk, they should have been saved there. Are you capturing tape or from a Memory card?

  • Media offline after log and capture HELP!!!!

    hi,
i am capturing media from my camera from dv tape into FCP,
i log and capture the footage and all seems fine, i've done this hundreds of times before.
today however when i log and capture the file comes up as media offline (file logo with red line through it) in the browser window, i need to get this file done asap!! HELP!!

i have a deck and i've tried coming from the deck, but its giving me fallout due to deck issues i have, so i'm coming from the camera. when i log and cap i get the file with the red line.
when i try to reconnect it to a file all i have in the capture scratch folder is the bad file from the deck.
so i cant reconnect the media from what i have captured already.
so essentially my problem is that from my camera, i log and capture and get a file that does not go into capture scratch and yet still comes up as an unconnected media file in the browser!!??

  • Mail goes offline after waking from sleep

Every time I put my Macbook Pro to sleep, upon rewaking the mail app cannot connect to my mail server? however on restarting the mail app it all works fine? any ideas?

Just started having this problem on my new MacBook Pro Retina, which had Mountain Lion pre-installed. If the computer sleeps and then I resume, all my mail accounts are offline and absolutely nothing will take them back online. I've actually had to resort to restarting my computer, not even logging out and then in corrects the issue - INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING!

  • All iMacs going offline after sleeping...   ???

I just set up a small 10 iMac office and have them set up for Wake On Lan.
After several hours of sleep they go offline and I can't get to them or wake them anymore... ???
    Anyone have any ideas?
All but 2 on the iMacs are only a month old, the other 2 are a year old.

Odd that it won't work, even WakeOnLAN, over dumb switches. With smart switches (ones that do port filtering), I'd suspect that directed broadcast isn't being allowed (a not-uncommon situation on many networks), but with just dumb switches, that wouldn't seem very likely. You might check with the switch vendor just to be sure there isn't some issue with their switches passing directed broadcast, but it's not, as I said, likely to be the issue.
Are the iMacs all the same model, and if so which model? Perhaps you have a model that has issues with waking via Ethernet (don't know if this was chronic with any model, but it's all I can think of right now).

  • Contact goes offline after sending message

  • When i walk away for 5 min the browser goes offline how do i keep it online all the time?

when i step away form the computer firefox goes offline after a few minutes how do i stop this i need firefox to stay online

You can create a new Boolean pref with the name network.manage-offline-status and set the value to false.
You can right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and use "New > Boolean" to create a new Boolean pref.
    Name: network.manage-offline-status<br />
    Value: false
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />

  • Latest 3TB Time Capsule disk offline after Time Machine backup

I just replaced my 3 year old 2TB Time Capsule with the latest 3TB Time Capsule.  I also replaced both of my wireless network extender Airport Extremes with the latest model.  The Time Capsule disk goes offline after a Time Machine backup.  I have to reboot my Mid 2010 Mac (Yosemite 10.10.1) to get the disk back online, only to have it go offline again after the next Time Machine backup.  I am not sure if the problem is with my new Time Capsule or if there is a problem with my iMac.

The fact that it is the Mac you are rebooting indicates the issue is the OS.
Are you using wireless or ethernet?
As you can see with a quick glance down this page.. and the last few pages.. the introduction of Yosemite has not been without issues.. network in particular has been poor.
I am keeping myself out of fray.. having introduced a test Yosemite machine which caused the network to go completely berserk I have left well alone.
But I am tracking the issues.. so far nothing much is known.. so I can only suggest a few things to try.
One user has just suggested turning off AFP in the system preferences.
the simple method: System Preferences, Sharing, File Sharing, Options button, un-check AFP.
    SMB should still be checked.
You should be able to manually mount the TC in finder.
    Use Go, Connect to Server.
    SMB://10.0.1.1
(Thanks for the screenshot as that makes it much easier).
Finder should locate the network resource and mount it.. asking you the password.. please save that in the keychain so it doesn't forget.
    Here is apple's list.
OS X Yosemite: Time Machine problems
It has not got anything close to locating the problem. But there are some things that may be important.. ie it can be several bugs in combo not just flick this switch and now everything works.
