Maxdb  xuser Key "c" for "control"  not exist

Hello everyone,
a colleagues had a problem on a MaxDB 7.7 with NW 7.01 Java only Systems.
He said, that there is no xuser key "c" for the user "control".
<xuser list>
Ok, I can create the key with
xuser -U c -u control,<pass> -d <DBSID> -n <host> set
I this real ?
It's a bug ?
It' a new feature ?
Thanks,
Rainer

Why do you put the SID again into the dbmcli call?
It's already included in the XUSER data.
> In the old Version the XUser Key stand for user  control.
It's still like this.

Hmm... actually I never came across that.
Anyhow, since you can trigger backups with the 'w' key (SUPERDBA) as well there's no problem here.

As I said - I never realized that the key should be generally missing.
Maybe somebody deleted the key on your system?
Or maybe it was not created in the first place for the user you're working with.

  • Key command for "undo" not customizable anymore?

    Hi!
In the LP8 manual the key cmd. for "undo" is claimed to be exchangeable by the user, but it is not (dimmed).
I used to set it to <cmd.-y) - similar to protools, because <cmd.-z> is a rel cripple grip.
it still works with importing my old LP7 prefs, but is reset to <cmd.-z> each time I launch LP8 again.
    Help!
    cheers!

Apple probably made this move because it's universal among all of Apple's apps (and generally accepted throughout most applications for the Mac).
hm - final cut's key commands are fully custumizable, too (at least until FCP5) wich is an apple app even more than logic.
an other reason might be this: when setting for example <y> for undo in LP7, you can't use the y in the save-as.. dialog box for naming anymore, because the y will be interpreted as undo. that's why I chose <cmd.-y>.
and why restricting only the system shortcuts if there was the "danger" of getting too familiar with those, what about "stop", "play", "rew", "mute", "solo", "divide", etc.? those commands exist in other apple apps as well.
I must admit, that I am just too clumsy for typing <cmd.-z> on a german keyboard more than twice a month. but my editing temper requires a lot more.
where to get detailed instructions for changing the system shortcuts in general?
    cheers!

  • Response time performance for the NOT EXISTS condition

    Hi all,
In the query below, there is the WHERE NOT EXISTS condition based on a view. And I want to know what is the better choice to take whether to include the DISTINCT keyword in the select script of the view or not , because the view contains duplicated rows :
    select * from table_name table_alias where not exists( select 1 from the_view_name where join_condition);
    Thank you very much indeed

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't, usually it's the same. The optimizer will tend to rewrite the query as a join anyway if it can.
For some notes on the options available to the optimizer for an EXISTS subquery:
    http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/join-ordering-pt2
Most if not all of those are also possible for an IN subquery (couldn't find a link just now but I have to go to work).

  • Trigger alert for file not existing in sender FTP server

    Hi all,
I have a scenario file to file.In the sender FTP server a file is placed every 3hours.If file is present it will work in the normal file to file procedure. But when no file exists it should trigger an alert.
Scripts on FTP server is not accepted as a solution.
Can anyone let me know how this requirement can be achieved.
    Points will be awarded generously.
    regards,
    padma

    Hi
But when no file exists it should trigger an alert.
EMAIL can be used : assign an EMAIL ID to the corresponding user in the transaction SU01 and then set up SCOT and you can send emails when the ALERT is triggered.
Once you have configure Alerts, you will get the Alerts into ALERT INBOX in RWB of the user. To also get the email, the following needs to be done,
    1. In SU01 -- Assign the Email ID for the Recipient of the ALERT.
    2. In , RWB>ALERT INBOX> PERSONALIZATION--> Time Independent Delivery and Email are selected.
    3. Finally, SCOT needs to be set up to send Emails. Check this for the same. You can ask your BASIS team to do this step.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/23/1edf098ea211d2b47300609419ed29/frameset.htm
Also, In ALRTCATDEF, go to SETTINGS--> CONFIGURATION. By default, the option selected is INTERNAL PROCESSING. Select the option SMTP FORWARDING AS XML and give the email id. This will enable you to send an email alert whenever an error occurs in XI.
Also, to test your Alerts, execute the report RSALERTTEST in SE38.

  • Terminal key mapping for control-arrow, home, end, etc.

This isn't exactly an "I need it now" kind of question, but in brief, what was Apple thinking when they set up the default behavior of ctrl-left-arrow, ctrl-right-arrow, home and end in Terminal?
I'm using OS X 10.4, with the default bash shell. I would like the above-mentioned keystrokes to act like they do in Windows, moving to the beginning and end of words and lines, respectively. I know a couple of ways to do this:
    (1) use the Terminal -> Window Settings -> Keyboard window to remap these keys to send the strings (Esc,b), (Esc,f), ctrl-a and ctrl-e; or
    (2) add entries to ~/.inputrc to remap Terminal's default strings for these keys to perform the desired action (see http://koorb.co.uk/scrapbook/ or http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050525040921189 ).
So, I'm pretty happy now. But I want to make sure I choose the "right" approach, so I want to know which of these approaches is more "normal." Or in other words, why didn't this work in the first place? Where did Terminal's default keystrokes (e.g., Esc,[5C for ctrl-right-arrow) come from? They just produce annoying beeps in bash. Are they standard sequences for some shell that I don't know about? If not, why did Apple pick these keystrokes, instead of using something like "ctrl-E" which would do something useful in bash, which is after all the default shell? I'm basically trying to decide whether I should fix Terminal or fix the shell to work the way I want.
On a related note, does anyone have any idea how I can get command-right-arrow and command-left-arrow to go to the beginning and end of a line in Terminal, instead of switching between Terminal windows?
    Thanks for your help!

Somewhere deep in the bowels of computer history....for example
    http://vt100.net/docs/vt100-ug/table3-6.html
    http://www.termsys.demon.co.uk/vtansi.htm#cursor
that is to say, these codes date back to early hardware terminals such as the VT100. I believe. And that is why Terminal is a member of a class of software called "terminal emulators".

  • Smart Key App for iOS not available?

Hi. I just got myself a pair of Sony MDR-XB450 headphones. I expected to be able to get the Smart Key app, as advertised, to let me use the button on the headphones. But its nowhere in the appstore. Did they get rid of it for iOS? Its on the Google play store, but not the iTunes appstore. This is upsetting because now the button on the mic is essentially useless. Is there anyway to get this app? Or even a different app that does the same thing? Joey Echeverria

  • Want to start PSE 12 in photo editor but it will only start in Orgaizer, can't get to welcome screen and the .exe file that Adobe said to look for does not exist on my files

Have tried to start PSE 12 in photo editor but it continues to start in Organizer.  I do not want my pictures loaded in Organizer at all.  Saw a page on the web that said to click on an .exe editor file but that is not on my files.  Also cannot get a welcome screen to come up, only an organizer even though I checked it the first time to come up in photo editor.  I'm now having Organizer crammed down my throat.  Tried online chat but was cut off with the statement that no support is offered for v12 any longer.

    Hi,
You failed to say which operating system you are running on so I'm assuming it is Windows of some type.
You should be able to find the following files, using explorer, depending on your system.
    64bit system: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
    32bit system: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Double clicking on that should start the editor - suggest to create a shortcut to it.
If you can't find one of those files, then you either installed it somewhere else or you need to re-install elements.

  • Software component with Key ID does not exist

    Hi Friends,
Here I am in need of your help. I got involved in an upgrade from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1. The Basis has imported all the SWC & Business systems from XI 3.0. When I am trying to activate the objects imported from IR of XI3.0 then It is triggering an error as
data retrieving failed from Adapter Metadata  | RFC http://sap.com/xi/XI/System. /// ROA_MOA_NOTCOMPLETED.
Because of this I am unable to activate the imported objects in ID by showing the message as Software component with key ID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX  does not exist.
when I went there to ESR then under a software component I found a message under underlying components  like             " XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX not exist"  but I am not aware of the object related to that Key ID.
Please help me out in this . Thanking you in Advance.
    Regards,
    Sridhar

    Hi Neeetesh,
I got the alternative solution for my problem. All credit goes to you. I recreated the communication channels instead of using the same ones after Upgrad. Any way we need to change the communication channels after importing the channels but the system is giving the above error message as   "Adapter Software component with Key ID XXXXXXXX......  does not exist".
But its allowing me to create a new channel. Then based on the neetesh suggestion, I went through and create the new comm channels instead of wasting so much time on the same issue.
            Thanks a lot Neetesh.
I am really sorry for not giving your  points.  I am assigning points  now with great pleasure. Here you go.

    Dasari.

  • 11g SOA Composite Rules Error - Rule session pool object does not exist

    Hi all,
I'm hoping someone has experienced this and found a way through it. We're looking at exposing Oracle Rules DecisionFunctions via the automagically created web services in JDeveloper. We've tried several Rules examples, including the OrderApproval one available online, and are getting errors everytime we try and test the web service.

Has anyone had any luck actually getting this to work? If so, how? It simply seems like this particular aspect of the product is broken!
Your help would be VERY much appreciated!
    Regards,
    Rhian

    Hi SR,
Thanks for your response. I attempted what you've suggested (1=1 - asset new fact in output), however nothing has changed.
This is occurring across several Composite Rules projects, including the Oracle provided Chapter 5 Order Approval example. Unless someone can suggest a solution to this issues, it looks like we're going to have to shelf our plans to utilize the Business Rules component via the composite service.
    Very frustrating couple of days, that's for sure! :{

    Rhian

  • The 'c' XUSER key for the DBM user does not exist or could not be identified

    Hello members,
I am getting this message  'The 'c' XUSER key for the DBM user does not exist or could not be identified' in SUM preparation phase while upgrading SOLMAN from 7.01 to 7.1
Does anyone has any idea on this. What steps need to be followed for this.
    My DB is MaxDB.
    Thanks,
    Srikanth

    Hello,
Figured out the problem. Actually SAP System was moved from actual server to Virtual machine on the server. In this process some of the DB configuration got corrupted. And this activity was done by one of our previous employee.
Since this was a standalone system, I took backup of all current configuration and uninstalled SAP and installed new Solman 7.1 SPS12. Issue is resolved now.
    Best Regards,
    Srikanth

  • Posting keys for account determination for transaction EXC do not exist

    hi
i am doing Sales order for 1 month,no error i have got
but now i am getting error
Posting keys for account determination for transaction EXD do not exist
    HELP

There will not be any such postings called FI side / SD Side.
Positng always done in Financial perspective only into Certain G/L accounts depends on configuration we did.
    As we know,
To post Invoice Conditions in G/L accounts , we configure Account Determination . These tables will be communicated through Account keys maintained in Pricing procedure & in Account determination tables.
To account the stock in Inventory, will configure the same in OBYC - FI/MM Account Determination.- this will be triggered through Movement type - Transaction key / General modifier / Valuation calss / Valution group code n other factors.
    In your issue,
Which Postings you are referring to?
In SO creation, Controlling documents will be created ( Ref: COPA - Controlling & Profitablity Analysis Customization)
After PGI in Delivery: Inventory will accounted through OBYC settings
After releasing invoice to Accounting, G/L accounts posted through VKOA settings.
Hope ,now you provide exact information related to your query

  • Confirmation control key does not exist

There is a old one PO, which was created with confirmation control key ZSC1 ; Now issue is ZSC1 has been deleted but it is showing in po, now user want to close the po as want to ticked the "delivery completed" ind. in the Delivery tab page at Item level in the po.
In this cas he is facing the error as "Confirmation control key does not exist" so:-
    1. How can be close the po.
2.Is there any option, from where we can check the change control i.e. can be checked when ZSC1 was deleted.

    Hi Jurgen,
I think you misinterpret regarding this issue.
confirmation control key is not deleted in PO.
It is deleted from configuration setting I mean from IMG -> Material Management -> purchasing -> confirmation -> Setup confirmation control.
since it's exists in po but not in config. thats the reason system given us that error.
    so my question was:-
how to get change control for the same, i.e. when it was deleted from config. setting
And how set del. completed ind. in po for closing the po, bcoz it's showing error as "Confirmation control key ZSC1 does not exists"

  • Creating BADI for Virtual Key fig: Error: RSR_OLAP_BADI does not exist

    Hi,
I am following some instructions to test the implementation of virtual key figure and came to the point to create the BADI.
    Intructions on page 5:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e051fda8-71a9-2a10-ac9e-8d17414a8c8c
    SE19
Create Implementation; New BADI; Enhancement Spot:    RSR_OLAP_BADI
At this point I get an error that RSR_OLAP_BADI does not exist.
I then chose at random APB_LAUNCHPAD but this works in the sense that it took me to the next screen
    1. What does it mean by RSR_OLAP_BADI not existing?
    2. I know the instructions points to choose RSR_OLAP_BADI, but why that particular program and how does one gets to know that it is the one to use for virtual key figure/char implementation?
    3. When I tested with APB_LAUNCHPAD, I did not get the same screen on page 5 of the link, is it different for BI 7? Or, am I missing a point?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    thanks for the guidance.
Yes, I tried to implement exactly as in the article.
Yes, I defined the filter for the Infoprovider, as ZV*
Are you suggesting that at this point, if in the method  if_ex_rsr_olap_badi~define, I change the value of
"ZV_ZIPER" to my DSO or Cube, I should now see the virtual key figure in my query?
Based on this understanding, I modified the method as follows, (my cube name is 2LIS_11_VASCL):
    method IF_EX_RSR_OLAP_BADI~DEFINE.
      DATA: l_s_chanm TYPE rrke_s_chanm,
      l_kyfnm TYPE rsd_kyfnm.
      FIELD-SYMBOLS:
      <l_s_chanm> TYPE rrke_s_chanm.
    Insert Code
      CASE i_s_rkb1d-infocube.
    CASE i_s_rkb1d-2LIS_11_VASCL.
          WHEN '2LIS_11_VASCL'.
          l_s_chanm-chanm = 'ZVAR_SHPR'.
          l_s_chanm-mode = rrke_c_mode-read.
          APPEND l_s_chanm TO c_t_chanm.
          l_s_chanm-chanm = 'ZVARDT'.
          l_s_chanm-mode = rrke_c_mode-read.
          APPEND l_s_chanm TO c_t_chanm.
          APPEND 'ZV_20DV' TO c_t_kyfnm.
      ENDCASE.
    endmethod. "if_ex_rsr_olap_badi~define
After activation, I checked the query and still I am not seeing the virtual key figure in the query for selection.
    Any more ideas?
    Thanks

  • Posting Keys for Account Determination do not exist

    This doubt in STO scenario:
STO - between 2 plants - different company codes under same client
Created STO from  Receiving Plant in ME21N with document type NB
Based on that STO, Created Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Tried PGI in VL02N from supplying Plant.
Received the Error Message as below:
Posting keys for account determination for transaction BUV do not exist
    Message no. F5598
    Diagnosis
The posting keys necessary for account determination for transaction BUV have not been set.
    System Response
Because the posting key is missing, the system cannot generate any automatic postings.
    Procedure
Maintain the posting keys necessary for transaction BUV.
kindly give the solution and advance thanks.
    Vaidee

    Hi Vadee,
Account Determination for BUV has not been setup for PGI.
So , go to transaction OBYC and assign the account by double clicking BUV  and give u r chart of accounts and check whether the account has been maintained. If not maintain.
If account has been maintained , select your account/valuation class and select posting keys push button and maintain the posting keys.

    Nani
