It seems like issue with the CUE. But lets work it out step by step:
    1) If you haven't configured the Router\CUE interface, please enable it and try to access CUE or check the CUE status from the router CLI. Here is a quick reference guide:
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel7_0/install/Install/nuinstall.html
Do not forget to configure static route pointing CUE ip address to the CUE interface.
Let me know whats the output.
    2) If nothing helps in step 1, your only option would be to reseat the CUE module and try in a different slot. Make sure to reboot the router. (as I think its not hot swappable)
    3) If nothing above helps, then most probably time for RMA.
Apart from above, was it a working setup or you bought it second hand?
Can you also post an output of sh inventory?

  • Cisco Unity Express (NME-CUE) Compatibility for CUCM 9.1.2

I unable to find latest Compatibility matrix for Cisco Unity Express (NME-CUE) module for integrating with CUCM 9.1.2
The URL:  http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/compatibility/cuecomp.html is updated with CUCM 9.0 only.
Request to share Compatibility matrix or suggest Hardware and software for my below requirement.
I am running NME-CUE 7.0.6 on 2951 ISR2 with IOS version 15.2(4)M5 and integrated with CUCM 7.1.5 using SCCP.
I am upgrading my CUCM to 9.1.2 and need suggestion on upgrading the CUE.
Also need details on Licensing for approx 100 Mailbox and  25 Voice Ports (No need of IVR Ports).
    Thanks,
    Chandan

    Hi Chandan,
    CUE 8.6.6 and later are compatible with CUCM 9.1.x;
Support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1
Cisco Unity Express 8.6.6 provides support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1.
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_6/rel_notes/rel_notes86.html#pgfId-411381
    Because you are moving from a pre-7.1 CUE version you will need to follow the CSL License migration process;
NoteWhen you upgrade to Cisco Unity Express Release 8.6.x from any release prior to Cisco Unity Express Release 7.1, you must replace your pre-CSL licenses with CSL licenses. You must migrate your licenses for the mailbox features and port features. If you have purchased the optional IVR features, you should also migrate your licenses for the IVR features.
Software Activation for Cisco Unity Express 7.1 and Later Versions

  • Cisco Unity Express NME-CUE %ARP-4-NULL_SRC_MAC

    Hi
I have connected NME-CUE to the router C2811. The module works all good for voicemail. Now, when Im trying to upgrade the software from version 7.1.6 to 8.6.7, using the 'Clean Install Method' it wont work. From the "BOOT-ASM" menu, after pressing ***, Im not able to reach anywhere. Not even the default gateway which is on the router. Whenever I try to reach some IP Address, out of module, it throws the following error in the ROUTER's log.
    Feb  9 22:19:13: %ARP-4-NULL_SRC_MAC: NULL MAC address from 192.168.11.250 on In1/0
I have searched for this error and could not find any useful reference to this error message.
    Saif

    Here is the document used:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_6/install/boothelp.html
And this is the Interface config:
    interface Integrated-Service-Engine1/0
    ip unnumbered FastEthernet0/0.1
    ip nat inside
    ip virtual-reassembly in
    service-module ip address 192.168.11.250 255.255.255.0
    !Application: CUE Running on NME
    service-module ip default-gateway 192.168.11.1
    no keepalive
    end
and here is the static route:
    ip route 192.168.11.250 255.255.255.255 Integrated-Service-Engine1/0

  • Disabling port 389 for version 4.x/5.x of the Directory server?

Is it possible to close port 389 for version 4.x/5.x of the Directory server?
We need to ony enable 636 for SSL communications. WE currently limit 389 access to the CMS (which oddly enough requires it - ARRGGGG!) by IP Address. We're currently running NT 4 and have turned off 389 and found that there is a need to have 389 open for some initial operations (ignoring the CMS requirement for testing). We have not fully tested this under Solaris ... but anticipate the same to be true.
    Rich

iPlanet Directory Server 5 can run without the 389 port enabled... You need to set the LDAP port to 0.
However, this will prevent the Console and the Admin Server from working correctly. It is OK if you do all the administration of your server using command line utilities.
    Regards,
    Ludovic.

  • Configure connectivity on nme-cue

My nm-cue died and all we have as a replacement is a nme-cue. I tried to apply the current config from the nm-cue to the nme-cue and I can't ping it from the router to the nme-cue.
This was the working config from the NM-CUE
FastEthernet0/0.20 10.3.3.1 YES NVRAM up up
    interface Service-Engine1/0
    description $FW_INSIDE$
    ip unnumbered FastEthernet0/0.20
    service-module ip address 10.3.3.5 255.255.255.0
    service-module ip default-gateway 10.3.3.1
    ip route 10.3.3.5 255.255.255.255 Service-Engine1/0
I applied this on the NME-CUE and it doesn't ping
Cisco website has the config for the NME-CUE as:
    Router(config)# interface Service-Engine 1/0
    Router(config-if)# ip address 10.0.0.9 255.0.0.0
    Router(config-if)# service-module ip address 10.0.0.10 255.0.0.0
    Router(config-if)# service-module ip default-gateway 10.0.100.10
    Router(config-if)# exit
I could ping from the router to the nme-cue with a different subnet following this config but I do not want to place the service engine on another subnet.
    I retried it with
    interface Service-Engine 1/0
    ip unnumbered FastEthernet0/0.20
    service-module ip address 10.3.3.5 255.255.255.0
    service-module ip default-gateway 10.3.3.1
It didn't mention to add a static route so I left it out. Couldn't ping so I added the static route:
    ip route 10.3.3.5 255.255.255.255 Service-Engine1/0
    Still can't ping
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes from the router I can ping the tftp server.
No the router cannot ping the service module
No I cannot ping the tftp-server from the service module address 10.3.3.5 even after I set the configs in bootloader mode.
    S      10.3.3.5/32 is directly connected, Integrated-Service-Engine1/0
    R2811#sh run | s ip route
    ip route 10.3.3.5 255.255.255.255 Integrated-Service-Engine1/0
    R2811#
    R2811#sh ip int bri
Interface                  IP-Address      OK? Method Status                Protocol
FastEthernet0/0            unassigned      YES NVRAM  up                    up
FastEthernet0/0.20        10.3.3.1          YES NVRAM  up                    up
FastEthernet0/1            unassigned      YES NVRAM  administratively down down
In1/0                      10.3.3.1                 YES TFTP   up                    up
The router and tftp server are on the same subnet so it doesn not need a static route.
    I'm pretty stumped..

  • Upgrading CUE 7.0 to CUE 8.6 on Cisco 2821 NME-CUE

    Hi guys,
I read that migration form CUE 7.0 to 8,6 if possible, but I dont undersantd for license,  this link tell that I contact with license page for migrate the license of mi actualy CUE 7.0, the question is, this migration has a cost? o is free i only need contact to team license.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel7_1/Licensing/CUELicense.pdf
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Roberto,
There is no cost (free) to migrate to CSL Licenses
    Migrating to CSL Licenses
When you upgrade to version 7.1 or later, you must replace your pre-CSL licenses with CSL licenses. You are required to migrate your licenses for mailbox features and port features. If you purchased the optional IVR features, you must also migrate your licenses for the IVR features. The migration procedure for each of these types of licenses are described in a separate section below.
Note If you are upgrading to the same of licensed features as before, the CSL licenses are free.
When you obtain licenses for features for Cisco Unity Express 7.1 or later, the licenses are available only in the increments shown below. The following types of licenses are available:
•Mailboxes (available only in increments of five)
•Ports (available only in increments of two)
•IVR (available only in increments of two)
Note CSL licenses are the same for all supported devices. See the Release Notes for Cisco Unity Express for a list of supported devices.
The corresponding SKUs for these licenses are:
    •FL-CUE-MBX-5
    •FL-CUE-PORT-2
    •FL-CUE-IVR-2
    •FL-TCV-USER-1
To migrate to CSL licenses, use the following procedure:
    1. Use the show software license command to determine which pre-CSL licenses you have.
The name of the pre-CSL licenses include the incremental quantity of the license. For example SCUE-LIC-25CME.
    2. For mailboxes, add the number of GDMs (Group Delivery Mailboxes) that you will be using because they were not included in the pre-CSL counts but are now being represented in the CSL counts.
    3. Divide the total number of pre-CSL licensed features by the incremental quantity represented in the name of the appropriate CSL SKU.
For mailboxes, divide by five. For ports, divide by two. For IVR sessions, divide by two.
If the result is not a whole number, round up. This will give you the explicit quantity of CSL incremental licenses that you need.
As an example, if you have the following pre-CSL licenses and you have 10 GDMs:
    •SCUE-LIC-100CCM
    •8 instances of SCUE-LIC-PORT-2
    •SCUE-IVR-S16
    You will need to choose:
    •22 instances of FL-CUE-MBX-5
    •8 instances of FL-CUE-PORT-2
    •8 instances of FL-CUE-IVR-2
    Using the Migration Portal
Note You must have a Cisco.com password to access some of the URLs in the following procedure.
Follow these steps to obtain a migration license for your existing Cisco Unity Express 7.1 features:
Step 1 Go to the licensing portal at www.cisco.com/go/license and click the link at the bottom of the page to go to the license migration portal.
Step 2 On the router that is running the features that you want to migrate, enter the show inventory command to see the corresponding product IDs and serial numbers.
Step 3 Enter the appropriate product ID and the serial number and click Continue.
The product ID is the type of Network Module that you are using, such as AIM-CUE.
Step 4 Use the drop-down menus to select the product family, product, and feature (SKU), then click Continue.
For the product, use the SKU that you determined in the previous section for the features that you want to migrate.
Enter your registration information, including your company's name and e-mail address, then click Continue.
Step 5 Verify all of your license information and click Submit to receive the free CSL upgrade license file by e-mail.
Step 6 Repeat the appropriate steps above for each device that is running features that you want to migrate.
Step 7 Copy the license file(s) to a FTP or TFTP server.
    From this good doc;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel7_1/Licensing/Using_CSL.html#wp1102792
    Cheers!

  • Can't import CTI Ports in CUE 3.1

    Hi Everyone,
I have recently migrated CallManager 4.1 to CUCM 7.1. Everything is working fine but CUE is not able to integrate with CUCM 7.1
I have provided the new credentials for Admin User and JTAPI user in CUE 3.1 and also made a new application user in CUCM 7.1.
When I verify CallManager Admin User in CUE web interface it shows Admin login successful, JTAPI login successful.
But when I try to search and import CTI Ports from CallManager, it shows me the error IOException: No such attribute.
Can anyone please help me with this issue?
    Thanks,
    Amit.

    Hi
    See this compatibility chart:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/compatibility/cuecomp.htm#CUCM
To run CM7.1, you need to be running 3.2.1 of CUE as a minimum.
    Regards

As of now Im using version 5.1.x.Here Im not able to get any info regarding the maximum size limit of a TimesTen datastore. Please help me
    Thanks In Advance
    Pratheej

Also be aware that on Windows you can rarely achieve a data store size of >1g
It's down to the way Windows handles it'd DLLS - they tend to get loaded in a fragmented way and since TimesTen needs one contiguous slice of shared memory this causes a problem.

In the Database Expert, bring up the Options dialog.  I think it's on the right click menu.  You can then enter a filter for the table name and owner using wildcards.  This will limit the number of tables presented and allow you to see the new view.
    Thanks, Blair

  • My ipod, 4th generation, squeals and pops via the headphones when connected to my computer, by the USB, port running itunes version 10.  Any idea what is wrong?

I have tried to five r's and using different usb ports.   I have also cleaned the contacts recently but I still have the same annoying sounds.   Any advice will be warmly received.

Does the iPod appear in iTunes on another PC or Mac running iTunes?
Did you follow the instructions in this Apple support document when removing and re-installing iTunes and all Apple related software?   If not, work through these instructions exactly as they are.

  • Advanced Auto Smart Ports 2960S IOS Version 15.0(2)SE2

    Hello again
After several days on the lab I have got a Smart Install and Automatic Smart Ports Zero touch configuration almost ready to deploy on our network. I am just having a last issue.
The configuration of my 2960S is ok and they detect other switches on the ASP ports and everything is fine.. BUT.. after about 2.40mns with no cables being unplugged the switch forgets that port gi1/0/6 fx has a Catalyst Switch connected to it and discovers one unclassified device executing CISCO_LAST_RESORT_EVENT macro which has other access ports and so on.
I have no idea what could be triggering something like this. I have ried several debug commands but nothing seems to be the trigger.
    Logs:

    Jun 11 09:37:13.669: %AUTOSMARTPORT-5-INSERT: Device Un-Classified Device detected on interface GigabitEthernet1/0/6, executed CISCO_LAST_RESORT_EVENT
Hope someone can give me a clue on what could be causing this.
    Best regards
    Isaac

I have gone further on investigating and the switch receives information about all the devs that are on the neighbour switch and takes actions according to it.
HX927438_SW43(config-if)#do sh macro auto monitor dev
    Summary:
MAC_Address       Port_Id       Profile Name                        Device Name
    ==============    ==========    ===============================     =======================
    40f4.ec75.1e01    Gi1/0/6       Cisco-Switch                        cisco WS-C2960S-24PS-L
    0008.5d74.4176    Gi1/0/6       Un-Classified Device                Unknown Device
    40f4.ec75.1e41    Gi1/0/6       Cisco-Device                        CISCO SYSTEMS
    30f7.0d5c.b81f    Gi1/0/6       Un-Classified Device                Unknown Device
    0006.f63c.ee04    Gi1/0/6       Cisco-Device                        CISCO SYSTEMS
    ===========================================================================
My Gi1/0/6 is Uplink to one other Auto Smarports device.
I have tried to stop macro auto processing on the neighbor switch but that doesn't help.
Someone could help on how to solve this - maybe some turn around? Could that be an IOS issue?
    Best

  • What is the maximum number of rows in version 3.5.3

I am using Numbers v3.5.3 in Yosemite.
I need to copy/paste from a .txt file 1,085,300 lines of information.
Numbers will only accept !65,000 lines.
Is there a limit by default?  Can that be extended?
    Thank you.

Hi Wayne - you have been very helpful; thank you.
I work at a film / tv post production facility.  We use Outlook365 and the Sharepoint feature to share Word Docs and Excel Spreadsheets virtually.  I use the Excel functionality in Sharepoint so that we can track media we copy to our StorNext SAN volumes as well as the multiple LTFS and Tar Per Shot LTO5s we write for both our clients and as internal data backups.  Managing the media is beyond critical as TV and Feature studios require the utmost care of their OCF (original camera footage) and dailies / editorial media.
Of the many toolsets we use to edit and color shows and feature films is the AutoDesk platform (think Flame, Inferno, Smoke).  The application toolset writes over 20TBs of data to our SAN volumes and the way it writes the data is unique to the application. If you tried to look at via a Mac Finder or Windows Explorer, the hex values in the filenames would not make sense. We cannot associate those hex names with actual human readable project names.
One of my engineers used the AutoDesk app to spit out a 1 million line plus text file with human readable names of every project, file type and file path.
What I am trying to do is suck all of that data into a spreadsheet that I can upload to Sharepoint (or paste directly into Sharepoint).  When I try to copy/paste on my Mac Mini directly into a Sharepoint page, both Safari and Firefox go into a spinning beach ball of death.  Time stops; photons of light are bent towards the event horizon; you get the picture.
Since Numbers won't accept more than 65,000 lines, I need a way to get that data into a spreadsheet.
I have downloaded LibreOffice and will give that a try.
Knowing what you do now, might you have any other suggestions?
    Thank you again.
    Scott
