Maximum activation count (1 user) already reached on a new install

I just installed a new Adobe Acrobat XI Standard package ordered from a third party. The first time I invoked the application, I received an error message that the maximum activation count (1 user) had been reached. I had 30 days to deactivate one user and activate this computer, What has to be done to overcome this problem?
I have contacted the seller, but have yet to hear from him.

I am trying to bring up gnome in a new virtualbox VM.
I have gotten to the gdm chooser screen, and while I can choose to power off, neither of my two non-root users are presented as a choice, nor is there a text box for user entry.
I am using today's current versions. I did need to pacman -Syy to load the new version of libcups, and I did need to download the vesa driver for X.
I've tried this with and without the vboxvideo driver. gdm:gdm has rwx access to its $HOME.

I don't know anything about gdm, but if you ran `pacman -Syy` *then* updated some packages (and downgraded others??), please - before you do anything else - run `pacman -Syu` or at least `pacman -Su`.
edit: this is not to fix the present problem - but will prevent future ones.

Maximum number of sessions has already been reached...

I have a web application which is made up of a servlet and some jsps. I run a test which puts a load on the webserver which sends multiple requests to the webserver so we can monitor the load.
The problem is, my application is not handling anything gracefully when the webserver reaches it's max # of sessions. I don't want to change the default 1000 sessions, but I want to direct users to a friendly error page if this situation ever occurs.
This is the beginning of my doGet method:

Hi,
You can have an application variable that increments by one, when each new session is started. That way you can check whether the total no.of sessions have reached 1000, if yes, u can redirect the user to an error page.

Maximum Activations Reached

Greetings, I have a customer that has activated my product twice already due to computer issues (new computer and disk failure). What happens when this person needs to activate their software beyond the three allotted 'activations'? Is there a way to reset the number of activations our grant additional activations? Thanks!

When your customer has used all activations for a specific purchase and application, the purchasing website will display a button that will allow them to "deactivate" all existing licenses for that specific application. This means that for all installed instances of this application, the user will see the Licensing Check dialog, and customers will click "I want to buy this application". When clicked on "I want to buy this application" the user can activate their applications again.
If this person needs to activate their software beyond the three alloted activations, then they need to make an additional purchase for their application. When the application is installed and launched the License Check dialog will prompt them to make a purchase.

How to get Maximum Number of Concurrent users for last few days?

Hi,
How I can get maximum number of concurrent users which were logged in to the system (ECC 5.0) I mean I want to check the hostory for last few weeks. Is there any way to get the same? I know that I can get Cumulative number of users in st03 under Expert mode but that is the number of users logged into the system during the day. Is there any place where SAP maintians the High Watermark of Number of concurrent users reached in the system?

Sorry I really missed that I have posted a question here on sdn. I wanted to know this for planning the system hardware requirements. Activities like PM ( Performance Management ) happens once a year and during that activity we see heavy user loan on the system so if I have the exact stats of 1 or 2 years data I can size the system better next time. Fortunately last 2 years PM was very smooth for us. In that look for the improvement because each time we had little extra Harware. By doing the exact analysis we can save a Cost of ownership...
I was looking for R/3 users. I could see the number in st07 but I want to know the exact number at particular time.. I believe that st07 stores only for few days.

Maximum Activations Exceeded from Pervious Installation

On my iMac I get a a message Maximum Activations Exceeded dialog , when i have installed cs6 trail version , i cannot open any program and see this screen , I did install adobe cs6 creative cloud , but that also showed me this screen that was valid as i had the creative could already running on two computer so I could not activate on third but now I have downloaded the trail version of cs6 and still i see this screen
I am not able to run any of the cs6 programs I have installed as a trial and still see the Maximum Activations Exceeded from the pervious installation
how do I fix it
also note I could not open any of my pervious installation programs because I always got this Maximum Activations Exceeded so I had to uninstall it

No, Support will not reset the activation count becuase you are trying to run the trial on the third machine.
You already have Creative Cloud on 2 machine with the same Adobe ID.
Use different Adobe ID with which you haven't bought creative cloud and use that one to "License the Software"

Sharepoint 2013 - Active Directory Import User Profile Property manager fields

Hi there,
I juste encountered actually a little issue regarding the Active Directory Import User Profil.
Importation seems to work well but I have a little problem regarding the Manager field.
When I verify a user profil through the sharepoint admin page ("Manage user profil") , I can see the manager field is correctly populated, but if I want to check my profil as a user (personal information), the manager field is not visible.
With Sharepoint Admin and Manage Profil Properties, I haven't the possibility to modify some settings for the manager.
For example, Policy parameters is greyed.
The only way I found to show this field in a user profil is to give the permission "allow users to Edit values ...".... setting I don't want to set.
Have you already this sort of issue ?

I don't remember well what I did exactly regarding this issue because I played a lot with user profil.
I know I used this powershell script from Sheyia which in fact help me a lot to clean and create a good profil setting.

VL09 hit error 'F5 727 ("Maximum number of items in FI reached")'

I have one user who is trying to cancel GI for DO using transaction VL09 and hit the error 'F5 727 ("Maximum number of items in FI reached")'. I know it is caused by FI document maximum item no is hit. Is there a solution to cancel this GI document? I have checked on SAP note: 0001353827 AC interface: Document split in FI for goods movements, but it does not solve my issue since the system release version is not compatible.

I need to use VL09 to cancel the document, because I need to change the currency on the preceding document (PO).
The case is a user created a Supply Chain PO, a DO created by reference to PO, then post good issue and post good receipt. Then user found out the currency in PO was wrong, so did cancellation on good receipt and good issue. Good receipt is cancelled successfully, but cancel good issue via VL09 hit error.
Instead of applying summarisation in FI, any suggestion for this issue?

We are working on MySAP ERP 2005.
We received the following error massage:
[Maximum number of items has been reached] we then updated table TTPYV using MATNR,MEINS,MENGE,PAOBJNR,POSN2,VBEL2,WERKS,ZEKKN
We had these same settings in R/3 4.7 and it worked very well.
1. What are MySAP ERP 2005 requirements in order to get SD billing items summarized in FI? our client wants one invoice with more than 10000 items
2. What are other IMG settings required in both FI/SD modules to get this working?
3. Are there any User Exits required?
4. Are there any CO settings required?
5. Are there any G/L account settings required?

I don't think you can. We had the same problem and had a good look at sap notes and posts from SDN etc. and came to the conclusion that you can only invoice up to 9999 items. Not entirely sure about that number, might be 999 items. In any case we decided to break down the billing list by creating more than one billing documents.
You can do the same and then create an Invoice list, which is a document that will contain the values of all individual billing documents without posting any values to FI/CO

How to set maximum redelivery count

hi,
Within my JCD I am throwing an exception to roll back a message so that it will be redelivered in case of an error. From the log I can see that the message is redelivered.
Now, I'm trying to find a way to set the maximum redelivery count within the JCD. Or a better way maybe find out how many times the message has been redelivered, so I can send it to a dead message/error queue when it reaches a certain number.
Is this possible? Has anyone done similar thing?

Lightroom purchased but downloading error (maximum authorized number of installations is reached)

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

count of users connected via
console. I need it without starting console. I tried
