Maximum concurrent call connections for our Call Manager v7.15

Hi everyone,
Hope you can help! I was just asked one question I should have known how to answer...
We are using CM 7.15. Have 1 publisher and 1 subscriber. We have 2 pri T1 (24 slots).  One connects to 1 2821 Voice gateway and another one is connection to another 2821 voice gateway in another location. I do not think we use SIP trunk...but I am not sure if we are using mpcp or H323.... so how do I check which protocol I use?
The most important question is... I would like to ask how I can find out what the maximum concurrent sessions of the call connections are? How do I find it out?
Please help...thank you very much for your help.
Takumi

Hi Bobson Lam,
in CUCM Administration > Device > Gateway, you have a list of configured Gateways ... in this list there is a column called 'Device Type', this column shows the 'H.323 Gateway' or the Gateway Model (for ex.: 2821) if it's MGCP.
For Maximum Concurrent Sessions ... have you try RTMT (CUCM Administration > Administrations > Plugin > RTMT for Windows)? There are some System - Performance, that shows, for example, Call Active for H.323.
Hope this helps.

  • Generate Remote Connection for our Solution Manager 7.1

    Hi,
In order to complete installation of SAP Solution Manager 7.1, we need to send a message to SAP Support through SOLMAN but we still don't have a RFC connected to the SAP backbone.
Anyone get a process easy-to-understand and to set up, we're in France and it's very urgent.
Currently we've set up correctly installation of back-end and front-end, we can logon to solution manager and it's all.
If you have ever done an installation of Solution Manager with Remote Connection, please join me.
    Best regards,
    William

    Hello,
Did you download and follow the Installation Guide?
    http://solman_srv:8000
Is NOT a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FDQN)
A Fully qualified name would have the format
    Host.Company.Domain
i.e. http://service.sap.com is fully qualified, while http://service is not.
This is the first problem you are having, but I suspect you have more, as at this point in the installation SAP* should already been disabled and your Admin user accounts setup. This would have been durng the post installation steps, which are performed prior to Solman_setup.
Yes, you need to defined parameter icm/host_name_full to equate with the FQDN of solman-srv.
Second thing is that client 000 and client 001 are reference clients provided by SAP. You don't want to be changing these clients. You want to be copying these reference clients to your clients and then configuring those clients, not your reference clients, as this will cause a problem when you need to create new clients.
Did you follow the installation guide carefully? I would recommend you review, because it covers off these things, so you shouldn't be running into these errors at this point in the configuration phase, if you followed the Installation guide (especially the POST Installation steps)

  • E71x & Call Connect for Cisco

After getting the runaround from both Nokia and AT&T regarding the functionality of Call Connect for Cisco on this model of device (Nokia bounced me to AT&T, saying the E71x was AT&T's custom model, AT&T bounced me back to Nokia, saying that Nokia was the manufacturer), I finally got someone that told me Call Connect would function.
On that advice, we ordered (4) E71x's from AT&T.
They arrived today, and I'm trying to install the .SIS Call Connect package.
PC Suite is installed, the phone is talking to my PC.
I attempt to install CC, and I get:
"Application not compatible with phone.  Continue anyway?"
I go ahead and continue, it checks certificate validity, gives me details on "License Manager".
I click continue, checks certificate validity again, and starts installing (progress bar time).
    I wait.
The Nokia CC Cisco EULA comes up, I click "OK" to agree to it, and receive the warning:
    "Nokia CC Cisco
Phone model is not supported!  Press Cancel to abort installation."
Obviously, cancel aborts.  If I continue, the progress bar returns, grows, and eventually errors out with an odd tone:
    "Unable to install.  No access."
Then dumps me back to the menu.
Has anyone played with this yet?

    Hrmm...
I see that it doesn't show the Nokia VoIP 2.3 - is that required for Call Connect?  I thought Nokia VoIP was a seperate functionality.
When speaking with both AT&T and Nokia prior to our purchase of these phones, I was assured that they had the VoIP capabilities.
That list appears to be inaccurate in some aspects for the E71x - it doesn't list the following for the E71x:
    Nokia AV 2.5mm
    Nokia microUSB Cable CA-101
    USB Mass Storage
The E71x has all of these.
I'm having another problem too, locating any 802.1X configuration, which is also advertised on this model...

  • Cisco Call Connect for Cisco 2.0 and E52

    Hello,
We have a lot of Eserie, old models, using Call Connect for Cisco 1.1 registered to Cisco Communications Manager 6.1. They are well registered in SCCP protocol to the CallManager, and we use the phone model type 7970 to register them.
Now, we received new model E52 which requires Call Connect for Cisco 2.0 release. But we experienced issues registering them into the CallManager 6.1 and phone model type 7970. Apparently there is a model mismatch.
I would like to know if everyone found the right model type to register them without installing the COP addon adding the Nokia CC model.
    Best regards,
    Yorick

    Hi!
Just for curiosity; why wouldn´t you install COP addon?

  • Call gate for systems call

    Hi all,
On solaris-x86 The /usr/include/sys/segment.h file has the following user selectors
    /* user selectors */
    #define USER_CS 0x17 /* user's code segment */
    #define USER_DS 0x1F /* user's data segment */
    #define USER_SCALL 0x07 /* call gate for system calls */
    #define USER_SIGCALL 0x0F /* call gate for sigreturn */
    #define USER_ALTSCALL 0x27 /* alternate call gate for system calls */
    #define USER_ALTSIGCLEAN 0x2F /* alternate call gate for sigreturn */
USER_SCALL(0x07) and USER_ALTSCALL(0x27) are both used as call gates for system calls in ld.so and libc.so(primarily 0x27 but 0x07 is used once). A static executable seems to use 0x07 exclusively. My question is whether there is any difference between the 2 call gates ? The system call semantics seem to be the same for both(syscall no goes in %eax and followed by lcall <call-gate>, 0x00). Can I substitute one for the other and will the executable still run ok ?
    Thanks
    Naveen

    Hi Michael,
first of all the connection to an ABAP system via portal system object as you have used it in VC7.0 should also work in VC7.1. Maybe there is an issue with your configuration. There is also another option to setup the connection via RFC connection in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator. Anyway I suggest that you try to establish a connection via RFC, which is described in the [Wiki|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/vc71/rfc+destination]. If this connection will work then you should investigate why the connection via system portal system object is not working.
Please let me know if you have success with the RFC connection.
    Best Regards,
    Marcel

  • Call Connected displays after call termination

Two or three times during the day, after hanging up from a call, the call does not terminate. "call connected" displays, yet no one is there, nor was there an accidental dial. The only way I have found to actually terminate the call is to pull the battery. I have no incoming nor outgoing calling capabilities until the reboot is complete.

    Hello megohm64,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
To correct this particular issue i would recommend backing up the BlackBerry Smartphone and then performing a security wipe.
To back up the BlackBerry Smartphone, please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your device. Click on the Backup and Restore options and select Back Up. Please note the location where the backup is being saved as we will need to access it later to restore the BlackBerry Smartphone.
Once you have backed up your BlackBerry Smartphone please follow the link below to complete a security wipe.
    Link: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB14058
Once the device is wiped please test to make sure it is working correctly and then complete a selective restore of your BlackBerry Smartphone. Below is the link on how it is done.

  • Caller ID for incoming calls NOT displaying name from contacts (only displays phone # on BB Z10)

on the Z10 Whenever I receive an incoming call, the caller ID only shows the phone #, even when I have that number matched to a contact in the phone, even the call log it show the number and not the name.  How do I get the caller ID to recognize and display the appropriate contact name with the phone fro an incoming call? Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks, Akhanbilal

Thank you Arsen but, as with everyone else : (1) When you get an in-coming call, it has no call log on the phone app call log that allows you do a thing under the sun except to touch the number of the last call, and when you do, it CALLS THEM BACK. (2) On every other BlackBerry I have owned, about 10 to-date, I simply selected the last in-coming call and had a button at the bottom of the screen to allow me to ADD TO CONTACTS. (3) This does NOT exist on the Z10, and there certainly is no "Click on number, little slider pops on the right, select add to contact."  Instead it dials them.  Frustrating other uses have described Arsen. Further, while on the topic : (4) None of this has anything to do with 10-digit national dialing plan or anything else on swipe finger down from top in Phone App, Arsen. (5) When you swipe Phone App down, you see SETTINGS. Then, there are 13 items.  I have looked at all 13 items and see nothing as you describe to select, nor any instructions on what to set the SMART DIALING to when there are 3 area codes local for my city and country code shows +1. Further, while on topic here : (6) Visual Voice Mail has been turned-on and whatever visual voice mail is, never supported on any previous BlackBerry including my 9780 before this, I have it with T-Mobile and have it turned on on the BlackBerry Z10 and it too does not work.  On the positive side, I do have a work-around for BlackBerry Z10 to 2013 Toyota entune. (7) I first took a vm msg .wav file of just hello (blank will not send) and saved it on BlackBerry Z10.  The Toyota entune is LOOKING for a music and will LOCK-UP if none are found.  By giving it this, it worked on my 2013 Toyota entune for the 1st time ever.  Yeah !  It is a little frustrating every few minutes listening to myself say HELLO.  But, hey no one really notices it with all the other stuff going on NAVIGATION, radio, cell phone calls, and all the computerized alerts on 2013 Toyota even without entune. (8) What I did now was to go into Navigation and remove SYNC with MUSIC.  I accomplished that after pairing to Z10 to 2013 Toyota, by CANCELLING ALL CONNECTIONS leaving only the pairing itself.  Then, you must choose some connections in the pairing section of SET-UP within Navigation itself.  If you cannot even get to that point, try depressing on the Navigation Screen, INTERNET at which point it will allow you access to SET-UP when you see the message NO ENTUNE APP FOUND ON YOUR BlackBerry Z10.  Red-headed step-child is what we all are.  Have to help each other.  Arsen I appeciate you helping all of us.  Seems the list is about 20 who have voiced it here in this one thread.  We voice it for the 200 million BlackBerry users worldwide, all left out in the cold despite a pretty cool Z10 product. Far better than iPhone 5.  I chose phone and internet.  Internet comes back no BLACKBERRY Z10 TOYOTA ENTUNE APP.  But, at least now I don't have to hear the music HELLO and do not also have the BlackBerry Z10 LOCKED-UP with pop up message you have to say OK to 10 million times to clear and never can actually do a thing on the BlackBerry Z10 as  a result.  Cannot add an in-coming call to Contacts Z10. Cannot see name and number calling me, just the bloody number, no clue who is calling ridiculous. Cannot do diddle-e-squat on BlackBerry Z10 on Toyota entune.  No App.  Horrendous. TAGS : Z10 no caller-id name, Z10 no app Toyota 2013 entune, Z10 add call to Contacts

  • Limit of concurrent tcp connections for 2012 Essential

    Hello!
I looking for what is the max number of concurrent tcp connections on windows 2012 r2 essential..
I didn'f find answers on here or on the web
    Any help wold be appreciate.
    thanks

    Hi,
There is no official article related to that. However, based on my experience, there is a registry key to define the maximum number of connections that TCP can have open simultaneously.
You can check the key of TcpNumConnections in registry editor under the path below:
    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
If there is no such registry existing, you can add one and configure the value from 0x0–0xFFFFFE(REG_DWORD). (0 means that you cannot establish any connections)

  • Maximum concurrent task load for UCCE/ICM multimedia/media routing

Is there a place In ICM to configure the maximum concurrent load for multimedia (such as email, chat) for MR? I'm trying to find out such a paremters but I can only find out the 'interruptable' settings for the media routing domain/media class. I thought to use MR to route email/chat there should be somewhere to decide how many tasks one agent can receive and that should be configurable. Anyone can help, please?
    Thanks.

Thanks, Geoff. I understand we can set the load in EIM/WIM since I've done a few EIM/WIM projects and implemented such settings. However in a case where another third party application instead of EIM/WIM needs to be integrated with ICM over MR interface, do you mean we will need to implement that load settings on the third party application side? I'm trying to understand how it works here. I think that ICM router has to have the knowledge about the agent's current load and the number of load it's allowed for the channel to do an accurate routing. If that's not defined in ICM then it might be passed by over MR interface? I don't see how the third party chat/email application can manage that settings all by itself without ICM's involvement.
So if the third party application  is passing the MAX load setting to ICM then is there a default value ICM can use if that value failed to be passed from outside?
    Thanks.

  • How to disable "slide to call" feature for missed calls from lock screen on ios7

I realized that when the iphone (running iOS7) is locked, the“Slide to Call” allows anyone to make an outgoing call to the missed calls from a locked phone (with passcode).
it is nice feature for people who don't care about locking their phone.but I believe there should be an option to disable the “slide to call” or at least require password before allowing the outgoing call to go through.
This is a serious security issue.it should be user configurable.
Hope Apple will take it seriously and release a update for the same.

You can provide feedback to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • Option to disable the "slide to call" feature for missed calls from lock screen

I realized that when the iphone (running iOS5) is locked, the“Slide to Call” allows anyone to make an outgoing call to the missed calls from a locked phone (with passcode). This may allow malicious and unwanted calls to be made from a locked phone by anyone having access to the phone and defeats the purpose of having the phone locked by a passcode.
Don't get me wrong, it is nice feature for people who don't care about locking their phone, but I believe there should be an option to disable the “slide to call” or at least require password before allowing the outgoing call to go through.
At this point the only option that I see is to disable the phone related notifications from lock screen, which prevents all phone related notifications to be displayed on lock screen (missed or voicemail). This is not a desired solution.....
This is the first time in the history of iOSes, that a user can make outgoing calls from a locked phone with a passcode. Even the voice commands (for dialling a number) have option to be disabled on locked screen.
I was wondering if anybody else feels the same way about this? or have a solution?

I share the same feeling with you about this issue.
Actually I was very surprised when I discovered that!
In addition to this, when you actually slide a missed call, it calls the person and when you end the call, the notification of the missed call is still present! So that person can be called again and again and again.
This is a serious issue that Apple has overlooked!
    Please secure the iOS 5.
    Thanks.

  • BB Os v. 7.1 - Caller ID for incoming calls NOT displaying name from contacts (only displays phone number)

We realized since bbOS 7.1 update the bb lost the possibility to show the contact from address book associated to the callerID
    ___country code is correctly set
    ___the menu voice
Options > Security > General Settings.==> Content Protection > Include Address Book = NO
     is not present
    ___the menu voice
options >> security options >> encryption
     is disabled
The previous tread was messed up with similar messages related to devices with the new BB Os v10.
But as far as this seeems to be a Os related issue, there is no sense in mixing

Not sure how the area code rules apply in your area. When you call from your cell to a contact that has their name, does it show you their name when calling out and the call log also has their name. Go into the phone application, swipe down from the top and cehck your smart dialing features for country code, area code and National number length.
