Maximum data volume that can flow through PI 7.1

Hi All,
I have a requirement to push around 10 -12 crores of records from MS Sql server to SAP ISU using PI 7.1in 8 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!I have been told that the hardware sizing done by the BASIS team is the best that Pi 7.1 supports
Please advice me on the following options:
1) Will PI 7.1 be able to handle this?
2) How much hours of scheduling would be required to push to data from SQL - Proxy
3) Any other suggestions???

I will be certainly happy to help you but....the Volume Processing is purely depend on few aspects of PI 7.1
- Scenarios Configured to use high Volume Processing features of PI 7.1 like
a. Message Packaging,
b. Queue Prioritization
c. AAE enabled
d. Are there any BPE Configured
- How about sizing of your PI environment?
a. No CPUs, b. Memory, c. No of Java Server nodes, d. No of Application Servers (aka Dialog Instances)
so like wise there many factors to cosider to conclude on your environment capacity in terms of no of messages processed perhour/day etc.
We have capacity to process 1.5 billion messages per hour But we concluded this fighure based on our load and system processing speed.
So I suggest you to go thorugh the below link to understand the realtime user cases scenarios and asses your system capacity
Becuase NO body can assess better than you about your system.

its configurable. Look at the rlimit max for the process. There should also be defined a maximum value you can set the rlimit to somewhere in the sys/* headers. (sorry can't track it down, my dev machine is kaput).

·        Job logs (TemSe Name: JOBLG...)
·        Objects from other applications, such as Human Resources (TemSe Name: HR)

"pdf creator" for iPad works flawlessly for me working with pdf files
It takes care of all my needs
I'm not sure about sending via Wifi or Bluetooth but I send them via e- mail all the time
Possibly it could handle your needs as well
Just type it into the App Store search field and the first one that comes up is the one I use
Jump on over there and read up on it before buying and see if it will help you

Maximum file size that can be ulpoaded at one time

Hi All,
I have an issue in which user is uploading 200 MB file in to KM. But she is getting "IisProxy.dll: 502 Bad Gateway" error.
I have tried uploading a document and was successfull in uploading 93 MB document and while uploading above this (93MB) i was getting Page cannot be found error.
I have found in refrences of same as in SAP note 820028 and on

Hi,
By default the maximum file size is 128 MB. You can configure that in visual administrator.

If you as administrator need to upload a file with larger size, you can use km file repository like etc. and can upload file from OS.

I recently bought a MBP for my college bound daughter. I know practically, if not all, college kids have laptops these days, not all have MB's. For ownership purposes, does anyone know if Apple makes a ownership data plate that can be adhered to the back of the MB without interfering with it? I would like to get something so my daughter can tell her's from others that may be used near her. I really don't want to keep replacing the MBP, like the pc-laptops that came before it. My daughter spent yesterday moving onto her campus and into her dorm. I was surprised at the number of MBP's in her dorm, on her floor, in her room. They seem to out number pc's, but that's just me counting. At the campus bookstore, MBP's and iPad's seemed to be out selling Windows-based machines 3:1. Hooray for Apple and the MBP's.
I bought and installed a security cable at her desk, much like other parents were doing. It is going to take a while for the freshman class to get used to keeping tabs on their stuff in these new surroundings, I'm sure! Hope the upper classes help them with their new away from home-life,mom & dad, and their siblings.

Maximum IMD size that can be processed by Meter Data Management v2.x

Does anyone know the maximum IMD size that MDM 2.x can process? I was trying to process an MV90 Interval IMD with 15 minute cuts for a period of 6 months (trying to load historical usage in one go). MDM is timing out and failing to process the IMD. The IMD has been created and is failing when I am trying to do Additional Processing (with just a dummy VEE group so no 'real' validation is happening).

You have to options:
1. The router that is internal must have a static route to the ASA to reach the VPN networks and must have a distribute static so that other routers that form part of EIGRP know how to route to the VPN networks.
2. You can configure on the ASA "set reverse-route" on the crypto map then configure EIGRP on the ASA and add redistribute static so that routes learned via VPN (considered static routes) can be pushed through EIGRP.

Maximum data volume in offline mode supported by Syclo Agentry applications

We are running the SAP Work Manager application 5.3 with Agentry 6.0.
We are using the iOS based client available on the App Store to run the same.
I wanted to ask about how much data volume can be supported by the application when it is running in offline mode.
As the data is stored on the mobile device, is there any upper limit on the data being stored on the device?

There is no upper limit beside how much the device memory. But the more data you put onto the device the reduce performance you will get. It is recommend only to download what the user needs.

Is it possible to have emtpy space in program that can "click through"?

I am writing a java program that would need me have a table look that I can click through the space in the square within the table, so I can click on the stuff on Windows desktop. Is it even possible with Java?

This is part of my school project.
I am working a program that is a table, and detect the color on the windows desktop area under each "hole", once the color change, the program would do something to show this "hole" has something change. I need to able to click in the "hole" as well, directly click the Windows area right under the Java. That's why I need to do "true" transparent for the "hole" area in the table.
Really hope someone knows how to do it.

I don't think if there is any size limit for PDF publishing in Captivate. There might be some other reason for that loading screen.
Which version of Captivate you are using ?
Which application you are using to open the PDF?
What version of Flash Player plugin do you have installed in your browsers?

Maximum num-exp that can be used on AS5350

I was told the AS5300 has a maximum num-exp of 256. However, the AS5350 had better capabilities and should do more.
Does anyone know the maximum amount of num-exp that can be configured on an AS5350?

As many as the routers memory and nvram (for config save) can hold. Note that having numerous num-exps and translation patterns are sensitive to faults...

Is there a maximum file size that can be converted to pdf

I have a 448mb tiff that I want to convert to a pdf. However, Acrobat gives me the error that the file is damaged or there is some other problem. Photoshop CS5 opens the file with no problem. It won't convert it to a PDF either.
The tiff is at 200 resolution. If I reduce it to 60 it will convert.
Am I trying to do something that can't be done?

Open in PS and print to the Adobe PDF printer. However, a 448MB TIFF seems huge. At 200 dpi and 24 bit color (millions of colors) that leaves you with a 61inX61in graphic. Even at 600dpi, that is 20X20.
For us to help you, please indicate exactly how you are trying to convert from PhotoShop. For Acrobat, are you trying to open the TIFF in Acrobat directly? Is the TIFF a single sheet, or multiple sheet? There are a lot of unanswered questions for us.
One of the limitations on file size is the size of the temporary PS file that is created in the PDF creation process. This PS file is created in the TEMP folder that is limited by MS. So you might try emptying the TEMP folder.
