Maximum entries in Fast Entry

Hello SAP gurus,
i have a very small query , could not get the answer tht's y m posting it here.
Can you please tell me tht is it so tht maximum of 20 entries can only be posted through fast Entry screen. Coz in my system the system is taking only 20 entries.
and if not then hw can we change it.
thanks,
neha

Hi,
You can add 20 records but to add more records you will have to scroll down. The maximum limit to enter the records in one session is 999.

  • Maximum entries in Cache

    What is the maximum entries which we can populate in a Cache.
    I have a Huge report which generates around 167 enteries in cache.
    But when cache entries go beyond 1000, the previous entries are removed and new enteries are generated.
    So i want to know, What is the maximum limit which i can keep for cache entries.
    And is there a way where i can permanently keep entries in my cache??

    HI
    In NQS Config file under Cache section you can find the default entries for Cache:
    DATA_STORAGE_PATHS     =     "C:\OracleBIData\cache" 500 MB;
    MAX_ROWS_PER_CACHE_ENTRY = 100000; // 0 is unlimited size
    MAX_CACHE_ENTRY_SIZE = 1 MB;
    MAX_CACHE_ENTRIES = 1000;
    If you want to increase the entry then you can edit in this file.

  • AE 5.2 Configuring User Defaults Parameter ID (PID) - maximum entries?

    Hello,
    I am configuring Access Enforcer 5.2 User Defaults and am setting up a number of PID parameters;
    I have successfully defined 23 out of 28 parameters and now fail whenever I attempt to add the 24 entry.
    Does anyone know if there is a limit on defining these parameters in AE 5.2? Has anyone exceeded 23 entries successfully?
    I am somewhat new to working with AE and am wondering if I am missing something
    Appreciate any feedback
    Thanks

  • The specified cache entry could not be loaded during initialization

    The OBIEE server is failing every few minutes of working.
    I saw in the NQServer.log:
    The specified cache entry could not be loaded during initialization.
    Cache entry, '/home/oracleadmin/OracleBIData/cache/NQS_rprt_734086_39693_00000001.TBL', is invlaid due to either non-existing file name, size does not match, exceeding maximum space limit nor exceeding maximum entry limit, and it's been removed.
    I checked the directory and there is no space limitation.
    Can someone please clarify?
    The server/Config/NQSConfig.INI is as follows:
    [ CACHE ]
    ENABLE = YES;
    DATA_STORAGE_PATHS = "/home/oraceladmin/OracleBIData/cache" 2000 MB;
    MAX_ROWS_PER_CACHE_ENTRY = 100000; // 0 is unlimited size
    MAX_CACHE_ENTRY_SIZE = 1 MB;
    MAX_CACHE_ENTRIES = 1000;
    POPULATE_AGGREGATE_ROLLUP_HITS = NO;
    USE_ADVANCED_HIT_DETECTION = NO;
    MAX_SUBEXPR_SEARCH_DEPTH = 7;

    It's more than enough if you are using it for .tmp and .tbl files storage. Have you checked work_directory_path in NQSConfig.ini file .Is it on diffrent mount point.Usually we wil create a seperate mount point and use that as storage location.
    b. Instead of using SAPurgeAllCache() , can I add shell script which delete the files fromt the cache directory and the execute run-sa.sh?You need to understand diffrence between OBIEE rpd cache and .tbl and .tmp file. SAPurgeAllCache() will purge cache from RPD.It wont purge .tmp or .tbl files.These files will be stored in some physical location.When a report start executing .tmp file will start evoluting and after execution of report it will be purged by OBIEE server automatically.
    see this blog for some insight into this topic

  • This entry already exist in the following table " (ACPR) in SBO 2005A

    Hi All,
    I use training database of SBO 2005A SP 01 PL 39.
    When updating new business partner (BP), the error message appears from system is this entry already exist in the following table " (ACPR) [ODBC 2035] (message 131-138).
    This error is happened after I finished define the contact person. If I skip contact person, BP could be updated. I do creating business partner manually.
    When I delete the ACPR entry, it could work well. I use query : delete from acpr where cardcode between 'xx' and 'yy'.
    How to resolve the problem without deleting the entry ? does the table has maximum entry in the ACPR ? Thanks in advance
    Rgd
    John

    Hi John,
    Here are the details of note number 991296.
    I hope it helps.
    Adrian
    Symptom
    In certain cases, when trying to update a business partner master data the following error message appears: "This entry already exists in the following table (ACPR)".
    This problem occurs because of old data in the history table ACPR (Contact Persons - History) that conflicts with current data in OCPR table (Contact Persons).
    Other terms
    Update, BP Master Data, History, ACPR, OCPR, "This entry already exists in the following table (ACPR)".
    Reason and Prerequisites
    Application error.
    Solution
    In order to confirm whether the above issue affects your DB, please run the following queries:
    SELECT T0.CntctCode, T1.Name, T0.CardCode AS 'History Card Code', T1.CardCode AS 'Current Card Code' FROM ACPR T0 INNER JOIN OCPR T1 ON T0.CntctCode = T1.CntctCode AND T0.CardCode <> T1.CardCode
    If the query retrieves any results, please contact your Support Center.

  • For all entries with large sets

    Hello All,
    Does for all entries have restriction that the itab should not exceed the maximum entries? Look at code below:
      select pernr raufpl raplzl catshours
             from catsdb
             into corresponding fields of table lit_catshrs
             for all entries in itab
             where pernr = itab-pernr
               and status in ('10', '20', '30')
               and workdate in s_date.
    if itab have 7000 entries in production system, will the select statement cause a short dump such as DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL?
    Thanks,
    Alex M

    Hi,
    check the sequence of the fields in the internal table lit_catshrs
    Because RSQL error occurs because of this.
    and Whenevr you use for all entries of some Internal Table it is a must to check that
    IF not ITAB[] Is initial.
    < write the select>
    endif.
    Other performance related thing w.r.t to ABAP are
    1) Dont use nested seelct statement
    2) If possible use for all entries in addition
    3) In the where addition make sure you give all the primary key
    4) Use Index for the selection criteria.
    5) You can also use inner joins
    6) You can try to put the data from the first select statement into an Itab and then in order to select the data from the second table use for all entries in.
    7) Use the runtime analysis SE30 and SQL Trace (ST05) to identify the performance and also to identify where the load is heavy, so that you can change the code accordingly

  • ASR1006 log NAT translations

    Good day. We've got the following problem, but i cant solve it.
    We have:
    ASR1000-RP2
    ASR1000-ESP40
    ASR1000-SIP40
    SPA-10X1GE-V2
    SPA-10X1GE-V2
    Kiwi Syslog Server
    ASR performs the function of ISG. The number of subscribers until 10000. This number is constantly growing.
    Because of the economic address space subscribers surf the Internet through NAT.
    Now the task to keep logs of all translations or binds. Need to store the information about what time, certain internal IP address using the external IP.
    I've tried:
    ip nat log translations syslog
    logging trap debugging
    logging host xx.xx.xx.xx transport UDP port xxx
    no logging console (so as not to load the CPU)
    Next on the syslog server has come the following message:
    %IOSXE-4-PLATFORM: F0: cpp_cp: QFP:0.0 Thread:064 TS:00004084523374422713 %NAT-4-DEFAULT_MAX_ENTRIES: default maximum entries value 1048576 exceeded; frame dropped
    I did:
    ip nat translation max-entries 10000000
    Error stopped publishing but logs do not come.
    I think of the huge number of translation per second, it can not send them as fast.
    How can this problem be solved or otherwise obtain and store information about a translations?
    Say what Syslog server is properly used for large volumes of data.
    Thank You and sorry for my English

    So I was able to redirect all log nat translations to the server using the command:
    ip nat log translations flow-export v9 udp destination server_ip udp_port
    Through Wireshark I get all the relevant information about ip address and time.
    Is there any software that could take this information and process it.
    I has used PRTG, ZOHO but they can`t analyze this flow type.
    Can anyone help me?

  • Address book .... importing text file

    I am designing an address book which opens a text file called AddressBook.txt which reads in the information in the following format:
    lastname,firstname,street,city,state,zip,phonenumber,birthday,persontype
    lastname2,firstname2,street2,city2,state2,zip2,phonenumber2,birthday2,persontype2
    etc. (with a maximum entries of 500)
    I am having a problem reading in the information without the commas and wrapping to the next line. I can either use the BufferedReader or Scanner to input the file and as you can see below, my code is not complete yet. I can't figure out how to code the storeAddress() method in order to get the addressBookEntries[] to include the necessary information for outputting, sorting, etc. If I can get the information read into the addressBookEntries[], I think I will probably be able to proceed in the rest of the required tasks (i.e. sorting by last name, searching by last name, etc.)

  • OBIEE Server crash

    Hello Gurus:
    I am having a server crash problem.
    OBIEE server crashes around afternoon almost everyday.
    error is "An error occurred contacting Oracle BI Presentation Services. If this problem persists, contact your ssytem admin. Error Codes: GDO7WNZA"
    I tried to see the server log, it says
    nQSError: 16001] ODBC error state: 28000 code: 18456 message: [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'ETL_OLAP'..
    Few minutes before server crash.
    I cant even restart the services.
    And after I bounce the server, it says
    [nQSError: 58030] The specified cache entry could not be loaded during initialization.
    [nQSError: 52020] Cache entry, 'C:\OracleBIData\cache\NQS_733394_47613_00006309.TBL', is invlaid due to either non-existing file name, size does not match, exceeding maximum space limit nor exceeding maximum entry limit, and it's been removed.

    So Is it because Users are trying to run BIG LONG reports?
    also memory usage is very high in like 2 GBs or something.
    PLease help me with it.
    Thanks.
    ~Vinay

    It's probalbly the running out of chache space.
    It's not a good idea to have your cache file residing on the same drive as your OS. When it runs into disk size problem in can make your OS corrupt. Have a look here on cache management:

  • Ldif2db virtual memory error Directory Server enterprise 6

    Hello,
    I installed directory server ee 6 on a Solaris 10 sparc machine, 8 gigs of ram. This is a testing environment. The installation, startup, and tools, like dcc/webconsole all work fine.
    I created a new DS instance.
    Next I copied a 5.2 instance from an older testing server, and ran the dsmig utility on it, directing the utility to migrate the 5.2 instance to the new instance of 6.0 that I had created.
    All parts of the migration worked except the data import. So I tried manually doing an export from 5.2 to ldif, then an import into 6.0. I received this error:
    root@WEB_ZONE_vmpwd1# ./ldif2db -n userRoot -i /vmpwd1_d_p01/portal/userRoot.ldif
    importing data ...
    [08/Aug/2008:09:01:01 -0700] - Waiting for 6 database threads to stop
    [08/Aug/2008:09:01:02 -0700] - All database threads now stopped
    [08/Aug/2008:09:01:03 -0700] - import userRoot: Index buffering enabled with bucket size 9

    The server has probably allocated all available virtual memory. To solve this problem, make more virtual memory available to your server, or reduce the size of the server's `Maximum Entries in Cache' (cachesize) or `Maximum DB Cache Size' (dbcachesize) parameters.
    can't recover; calling exit(1)
    Any ideas?
    The only forums posts I could find about this message pertained to DS 5.2 and were written in 2004.
    There is nothing running on the server except DS 6 and its tools.

    Update:
    Well, I tried something different. I created a new 6.0 instance, and then migrated just the schema and tried and ldif2db of 5.2 data into the 6.0 instance. That failed because it did not have the suffixes setup.
    So I tried a migrate-data, and it created the suffixes and imported the data into 6.0.
    While I am still curious what could have caused the error above, my immediate problem of getting 5.2 data into a 6.0 instance is take care of.

  • Portal UWL load flooding ECC

    We are intermittently encountering an issue with the load generated by the UWL service. The Portal is flooding the backend (ECC) with RFCs calling SAP_WAPI_GET_HEADER and SAP_WAPI_GET_OBJECTS. We go from a couple of million RFCs a day up to 15 million when these calls come in.
    The impact was the very high CPU utilization on the app servers and wait time for work processes, so we reduced the logon group to only two app servers, which then breached the conversation ID limit (500) and basically brought down those two instances.
    We've now opened up the logon group to the four app servers and restarted the Portal to allow balancing across them. All's now well for the moment. However, we're at a loss as to what to do next. SAP has recommended an upgrade to the service but this will take a couple of weeks of deployment and testing. We're approaching quarter end, so are in a critical period.
    We've reviewed KBA 1577547 and are configured as follows:
    Default Cache Validity Period, in Minutes = 5
    Page refresh rate = 150
    Delta Pull Channel Refresh Period (in Seconds): 60
    Job in ECC (UWL_DELTA_PULL_2) = 3 mins (changed from 1 minute last week).
    Any ideas?

    Hi Tony
    As I said earlier, I am not much conversant with UWL, however, looking at the RFC calls  it seems that for every work item the system is calling SAP_WAPI_GET_HEADER to get the header information of a single work item at a time and SAP_WAPI_GET_OBJECTS is used to get the associated business/class objects associated with a single work item at a time. Both of these RFC function modules take a single work item ID as  an input.
    So, logically speaking, the number of work items would have an impact on the number of RFC calls..
    If this is a recent spike, please check which new workflows or changes to an existing workflow has happened lately. Also it is quite possible that some IDOC functionality has been activated .... coz for some idocs there are work items generated (especially failure cases)...AND if there are repeated failures , the work items can go up.
    SWI2_FREQ is a good transaction which can give an overview  of Workflows - Top level as well as Work item level. Just select the appropriate date range and check which TASK (Work items) have the maximum entries or which Workflow (Header level/sub-WF) has maximum entries . Compare with the time range earlier to this spike. If there is a huge difference, this might be the cause.
    If not, then let's wait for experts in UWL area to provide us some guidance :-)
    Regards,
    Modak

  • BUG REPORT: new 10g Driver throws SQLExcpetion

    So far, i just replaced my old ORACLE JDBC driver jar file with a new version. Of course, i use the classes12.jar to be used by JDK 1.3. This worked for all the 9.xxx Drivers. Now, i tried to use the classes12.jar from the new "10g" Driver (10.1.0.2.0) but it doesn't work anymore. The first simple SELECT statement throws this error:
    java.sql.SQLException: Typlänge größer als Höchstwert

         at oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleStatement.executeQuery(OracleStatement.java:1124)
    For the simple select statement:
    select REF_CLASS, REF_CODE, REF_TEXT_DE from refset order by REF_CLASS,REF_CODE
    so, nothing special. Going back to the last 9.x driver, it works again. Is the 10g driver knwon to be buggy?
    Is there an official bug report web page on the ORACLE site (similar to the sun Java bug database)?

  • Apache Error During the Installation of Oracle 10g Infrastructure

    Hi,
    I am installing the Oracle 10g Infrastructure.During the OPMN Configuration Assistant Installation, i encountered the Apache error. The error is failed to start a managed process after the maximum entry limit. I tried this command: opmnctl startproc ias-component=HTTP_Server but still the windows displays this message: Apache.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. When I open the logs located at <ORACLE_HOME>\opmn\logs\HTTP_Server.log, the logs says Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?. I tried to uninstall using deconfiguration.pl but the program says that its ok to use the Universal installer. I uninstall then deleted the entries at the registry and then reinstall it, but still, it displays the error. Are there any solution that can solve this problem?
    I am installing in windows xp service 2. My oracle infrastructure version is 10.1.2

    Hi,
    There is no error_log file under this directory: <ORACLE_HOME>/Apache/Apache/logs. Maybe the cause is the conflict of computer name. I'll keep you posted as long as I finish installing the application.

  • 5.1 directory server try to allocate 1.7G virtual memory

    I am running iPlanet 5.1 at Solaris 8. The server crashed on the following error,
    12/Sep/2003:17:42:03 +0000] - malloc of 1719227497 bytes failed; errno 11
    The server has probably allocated all available virtual memory. To solve this p
    roblem, make more virtual memory available to your server, or reduce the size of
    the server's `Maximum Entries in Cache' (cachesize) or `Maximum DB Cache Size'
    (dbcachesize) parameters.
    can't recover; calling exit(1)
    The server is configured just 64M cache. Why here directory server try to allocate 1.7G virtual memory?
    Is this known bug for 5.1? Is there any way to fix it?

    I had the same problem. DS 5.1 sp2
    in my case it is trying to allocate 4.2G virtual memory
