  • PAB maximum number of entries exceeded

Hi, we are an ISP and some user say he's having the message "maximum number of entries exceeded" when tries to create a new contact in his address book in webmail.
I did my research and find my user has 500 contacts and also find that using "configutil" to modify the parameter local.service.pab.maxnumberofentries can solve the problem
    So i did it:
    /jes/bin/SUNWmsgsr/sbin/configutil -o local.service.pab.maxnumberofentries -v 1000
    Now if i tipe
    /jes/bin/SUNWmsgsr/sbin/configutil -o local.service.pab.maxnumberofentries
    I get
    1000
    The i restarted LDAP:
    /jes/bin/SUNWldap/slapd-users/restart-slapd
Then refreshed the instances by tipping:
    /jes/bin/SUNWmsgsr/sbin/refresh
Refreshing store server 787 ... done
Refreshing imap server 788 ... done
Refreshing pop server 789 ... done
Refreshing http server 790 ... done
Refreshing sched server 791 ... done
Then i restarted webmail and nothing seems to happens because the user stills getting the same error when trying to create another contact: "maximum number of entries exceeded"
What am i missing? what am i doing wrong?
    Thanks for the help

So it hanged out and says timeout and i had to do kill -9 Please note that if a store process hangs (imapd/ims-master/imexpire/stored/popd and mshttpd in MS6.2 and below) and you need to manually kill it (e.g. as you have above) then you must restart the entire store otherwise orphan database locks will be left behind and you will find that users will have trouble accessing accounts and store utilities can hang etc.
    So you need to run:
    ./stop-msg; ./start-msgRegards,

  • Maximum Number of Entries for Upload in Custom Table

    Hi All,
I have a requirement to create a custom table, and then a custom program will be used to upload the data entries. The user is expecting to upload more than 5000 entries at one load. However, the program is encontering a dump. Is there a maximum number of entries which can be uploaded via foreground execution?
Is there any other way to upload more than 10,000 entries at one execution?
    Thanks,
    Louisse

    Hi,
No restrictions for number of records to be upload in custom table.
You have to go to technical settings, there select Size category for number of data records of table expected.

  • Maximum number of entries per databases with IPlanet 5.X ?

So when multiple databases are necessary to hold a DIT.

There is no maximum. It is really a function of how much physical memory and disk space you have. I think the maximum number of entries is either 2 billion or 4 billion, depending on if the entryid is a signed or unsigned 32 bit integer.
Why? How many entries do you need to store?

  • Maximum number of phone numbers in a contact, and how to add them easily...

    1. Does anybody know what the maximum number of phonenumbers you can have in a single contact (iPhone 3G)?
I have a database of telemarketers numbers that I would like to add under a singel contact, put that contact on a silent ringtone, and that way not hear when these folks try to call me. The database contains over 5000 numbers, so I'm not sure if I can have that many numbers under a single contact...
    2. What's the easiest way to add several numbers to a contact? Is there a program that allows you to add a lot of phone numbers to on contact easily?
I have tried with Windows Contacts and Outlook, but they seam not to be able to handle more than a few (4-6) numbers per contact, even though manualy adding numbers I have 9 numbers under a "Do nt answer" contact. But adding 5000+ numbers manualy in the iPhone is not an option...

I don't think you can do it any way but manually as your right outlook has a limit on number of Phone numbers. Does Norway have a do not call register? this would be a simpler way of getting rid of tele-marketers.
Sorry can't be of more help

  • MSEG - Recommended maximum number of records?

    Hi all,
This is probably an oldie but a goodie.... does anyone know if SAP has a recommended maximum number of entries for table MSEG?
I've got around 43 million entries and have terrible performance on MB51 reports and custom reports hitting this table.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi,
    > This is probably an oldie but a goodie....
    yes, well known in support...
    > does anyone know if SAP has a recommended maximum number of entries for table MSEG?
    > I've got around 43 million entries and have terrible performance
generally speaking no, at least i'm not aware of such a maximum. The biggest MSEG i have seen has 17 times
    more entries (760 million).
    >on MB51 reports and custom reports hitting this table.
You are probably talking about MKPF / MSEG Joins. In some cases index design, and sql statement changes can
help to reduce the i/O (depends on many things). A general advice is: ARCHIVING.
    Kind regards,

  • Phone favorites - Is there a maximum number you can have

Is there a maximum number of entries in the phone favorites list?

I believe it's 50. Any more than that & it really wouldn't be a favorites list, would it.

  • Maximum number of contacts for Symbian phone

    Hi,
Anyone knows what is the maximum number of contacts one can store for their Symbian phone?
For example, I am using N95 8GB. I loaded in 5000 numbers and I have nothing else in the phone. When I try to access to the phone book, phone prompts me "Memory full".
Previously, I have tested loading in 3000 contacts into my N80 and the same thing happens.
I did a check on Symbian's technical specification and also on the phone's technical specification. It says the number of contacts supported relies on the dynamic memory.
I tested my massive contacts on a RIM device, it works perfectly. Maximum number I stored in the RIM device is close to 5000.
Anyone facing such a similar issue?

I have had the E51 for nearly 3 years and have regularly stored 2,500 contacts on it with no problems. T9 Nav can find them quickly; they insert in the fields of emails without problems.
Came to this thread because I just bought a secondhand N86 and I'm having problems with that number of contacts: as soon as I create an email from within Contacts I start to get out of memory messages and cannot open any other entry in the address book until I shut down the phone and restart it. Likewise if I starat an email and then search for an entry in the To field, the search fails and I start getting out of memory messages
This doesn't seem correct for a newer phone with more memory: anyone have experience of this?
I tried soft and hard resets, firmware is updated. The next step is to reinstall the firmware, but that is not working because Nokia Suite gives a 'service unavailable' message just at the end of the reinstall process. Anyone have ideas about this problem?

  • 6300 Contacts List Maximum Number of Characters on...

When dispaying the contacts list if a contact entry is more than 12 characters then in the end there's 3 dots, even if there's enough space on the display for more characters. Would that be fixed in new firmwares? The current version 4.71 isn't patched for diplaying the maximum available number of characters.

You have to contact Nokia and tell them about it, they might even fix that if you are lucky.

  • Nokia N8-00 'maximum number of connections in use'

    Hi,
I have creted another APN in the Destinations-Internet settings. Put this APN on priority 1. Then I se internet an it is ok. But when I open Nokia Maps or another App. Sometimes it tries to connect to the old APN then says 'maximum number of connections in use'. Asking me for confirmation to close one connection.
So I move all APN's and Wireless connections out of the Destination Internet. Except for the new on that I want. Still the same message From time to time. How to stop thi message. Deleting an APN is not a solution I am looking for otherwise I would have done that.
    Any help is appreciated.

So the on off method I posted earlier did not work. The first APN is still tring to be accessed by some apps after the phone is switched off and on again. The other things I tried..
    - Removed the APN restriction and renamed the first APN. When I start the APP it now gives me a warning and lets me choose the APN. I choose the second one so greate. Close the APP. Now when I rename the fisr APN to the original name. APPS try to access it again and I get that original error.
The only thing I could do is configure the first APN name with the actual Access Point of the second APN. This worked All apps are accessing the first APN whaich was reconfigured to look like the new Second APN.
This is not a solution again it is a workaround. Does anyone-else have this problem. Or am I the only one who is configuring multiple APNs. Since my provider has multiple APNs.
I would have thought that this phone supports Multiple PDP contexts, or Secondary PDP context. It was defined in the initial 3GPP specs way back in 2003ish. Nokia can you confirm???
    Cheers Peps!

  • What is the maximum number of contacts in a group that will send in an iCloud email? I'm sending from MacBookPro.

What is the maximum number of contacts in a group that will send in an iCloud email? I'm sending from MacBookPro.

    Limits on Sending Messages
iCloud has several safeguards to ensure that only iCloud members can send messages using the iCloud outgoing mail server. Among these safeguards are reasonable limitations on:
The total number of messages you can send each day (200 messages)
The number of recipients to whom you can send each day (1000 recipients)
The maximum number of recipients per message (100 recipients)
The size of incoming and outgoing messages (20 MB)
You can send 10 emails to 100 people each in a day, for example, or 198 messages with, on average, 5 recipients (and five ninety-ninths).

  • Nokia C2-01 Help- Maximum Number of Notes Allowed

    Dear Members and Support,
Please help me out. I wanted to buy Nokia C2-01 but i wanted to know what is the maximum number of notes allowed. Is it restricted to 15 (or something more) or unlimited notes are allowed.
Help me make a confident purchase
    Regards,
    striker

I didn't know there is limit on notes. As per my knowledge the limit is there only in basic phones and in these its based on the amount of phone memory available

  • Number of entries in Contacts

  • Maximum number of records for usage of "For all entries"

    Hi,
Is there a limit on maximum number of records to be selected from the database using "For all entries"  statement ?
    Thanks in advance

    There is a UNDOCUMENTED(??) behaviousr
FOR ALL ENTRIES does ahidden SELECT DISTINCT & drops duplicates.
    http://web.mit.edu/fss/dev/abap_review_check_list.htm
    3 pitfalls
"FOR ALL ENTRIES IN..." (outer join) are very fast but keep in the mind the special features and 3 pitfalls of using it.
    (a) Duplicates are removed from the answer set as if you had specified "SELECT DISTINCT"... So unless you intend for duplicates to be deleted include the unique key of the detail line items in your select statement. In the data dictionary (SE11) the fields belonging to the unique key are marked with an "X" in the key column.
    ^^!!!!
    (b) If the "one" table (the table that appears in the clause FOR ALL ENTRIES IN) is empty, all rows in the "many" table (the table that appears in the SELECT INTO clause ) are selected. Therefore make sure you check that the "one" table has rows before issuing a select with the "FOR ALL ENTRIES IN..." clause.
    (c) If the 'one' table (the table that appears in the clause FOR ALL ENTRIES IN) is very large there is performance degradation Steven Buttiglieri created sample code to illustrate this.
