Just to make sure you don't buy the wrong card: An "SD card" is a very specific type of a memory card. The N70 does *NOT* support SD cards, but rather a card format knows as "DV RS-MMC" (Dual Voltage Reduced Size - MultiMedia Card) or "MMCmobile".
In any case, it'll probably support any size DV RS-MMC/MMCmobile card that you can find (I think the largest available are 1GB these days, possibly 2GB).
Note that there is also a non-dual voltage version of the RS-MMC card. It won't work, so make sure your card says "Dual Voltage" or "MMCmobile".

  • Maximum  size of the image for uploading.

    Dear All,
I wrote an image upload program for uploading Color images. I need to know the maximum size of the image to be uploaded.
I am using the class cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_upload for uploading the image.
    Regards,
    Rahul R

you will be converting the image into 'TIFF' or 'BMP' to be uploaded through GUI_UPLOAD.
i think you can do it for large size also, and for any problem you will get the exceptions :
DP_OUT_OF_MEMORY     : Not Enough Memory in Data Provider
    DISK_FULL                        : Storage Medium full.
    so try and see.

  • Max size of MicroSD card for E90?

    Popular literature says 2G.
Wikipedia demonstrates 16G (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_e90) but also states the nokia site has upped it to 4G
I mount the Nokia on my Linux system (Gentoo, kernel 2.6.24) and Linux sees the filesystem as being 4G. (nokia via USB cable, in Data Transfer mode).
My 4G USB key, in the same hub, plugged into the next socket, shows up quite happily as 4G and works as expected.
I dump the device to an ISO file using (cat /dev/sdi > /tmp/backup.iso) and (dd if=/dev/sdi of=/tmp/backukp.iso) and I only get 2G!
    So, which is correct?
It appears that if I want to put stuff on the E90 using Data mode, I am constrained to 2G, who knows what Nokia Suite shows.... further testing will tell.
    ...Lyall

Official figures shown on the Nokia web site represent the maximum size of card tested during the development of the phone, or any subsequent redevelopment.
There are lots of cases where people are using larger cards than Nokia says will work, and they don't have problems.
The main thing to be careful of is that when you jump from 2Gb to 4Gb cards, you move from standard SD to SDHC format, some phones won't accept the high capacity variants.

  • Need OPTIONS for capture cards for Beta SP

Hi all...I'm a FC newbie and looking to upgrade from an OLD M100 system to a FC system. I would like to hear what you all have to say about
    1. The capture card for digitizing Beta SP
    2. Which card would be best (price and proformance) for DVDs...now I mean which card will capture Beta SP with the best quality to be used for DVDs.
    3. and which harddrives do you prefer.
    thnx in advanced
    mark

For working with BetaSP, price & performance-wise, the Aja IO La box is great. It connects via firewire, but allows capture in DV, DV50, 8- and 10-bit Uncompressed.
It has RS-422 control for your deck, and 4 channels of analog audio in & out.

  • Maximum size of the URL for search query

Is 255 a max character limit to in the URL top be passed from the web application for a search / navigation query. I have lot of conditions for flitering using the WHERE clause. The query is formed dynamically by the web application based on user input.
Is there a way to override the limititation so that many conditions can be passed through?

If you are using presentation api doing something like this:
    ENEQuery query = new UrlENEQuery ("N=0", "UTF-8");
    query.setNavRecordFilter(oneBigWhereClause);
There is no limitation on the size of your string representing your record filters, as long as your engine can handle it. I have tried passing in 100K record id filter without any problem.

  • Looking for graphics card for T2000

    is X3768A a PCI-X graphics card I can use in T2000?
if not can you recommend any cheap ones ?
    thanks

Why do you insist on needing a GUI ?
Your T2000 is a server.    Servers "serve".   They do not need a GUI.
That is why there isn't a graphics processor integrated into its design.
This question has been asked over and over again, phrased many different ways but asked the same way, in these forums for as long as they've ever existed from Sun Microsystems and now into Oracle's hosting of them.
The question seems to be:  "If I can't use the mouse, I don't know what to do".
Let me ask you a question back at you:   What will you do when there is a catastrophic failure on some filesystem or within some application and the system reverts back to its default CLI console ? You will need to interact with it using the default Bourne shell to repair it.    That's what system administrators need to occasionally do, and you'd better get accustomed to that scenario.
Here's a link to the T2000 system documentation

  • Looking for Video Card for Power Mac G5 August 2005

I have a Power Mac G5 built August of 2005. My ATI Radeon X850 XT G5 Mac Edition 256MB Video Card is toast. Is it an AGP card? I need to replace it. Will the  Apple G5 PowerMac ATi Radeon 9600 XT 128MB Video Card ADC DVI Graphics work on my G5?

The 9600 XT will work, but you won't be impressed after life with a X850.
The occasional X800XT OEM can still be found.
This trusted seller has OEM X800XT cards available.
Might get a bargain in this auction.
X850XT cards are dear when available.
IMO, the performance difference between X800 and X850 doesn't really justify $100...
    http://www.barefeats.com/radx800.html
If you don't need the ADC port, a flashed FireGL X3 makes a nice dual DVI X800XT .
The Geforce 6800 Ultra DDL is always a performance value.

  • Maximum size for JAR files on Nokia 3120 Classic

I am trying to download and install a java app for a Nokia 3120 classic, but when installing I get an error message telling me that the file is too big at 5.7mb.
I can't find the maximum size of .jar files for this phone anywhere.
Can anyone let me know what this is and whether there is any way to get the app to work.
    Many thanks.
    Alan Watson

YES THERE IS A WAY!! I only got this information from someone else. Thanks for that person.
    Here are the steps:
    1. Download the jar file you want to install, to your computer. Now open My computer, and on the upper left corner you shall see a menu, click the "Tools" button and then click "Folder options..." A little window will appear. Click the "View" tab. On this window you need to find an option "Hide extentions for known file types" below "Advanced settings". Then unmark or uncheck the box.
    2. Now when you open my computer and go to the folder where you had downloaded the java file, the file name will read "(anyfilename).jar". HERE IS THE TRICK.
    3. Rename the last part of your file. Instead of .jar change it to .jpg so that it reads  "(anyfilename).jpg"
    4. Now copy the renamed file and paste it in your mobile's C: or Memory Card drive.
    5. Once you had pasted, rename the copied file back to what it was. i.e "(anyfilename).jar"
BASICALLY the phone limits a file with a ".jar" extention, you can fool it by renaming the extention to ".jpg" and then once the file is copied into the phones C:drive you can change the extention back to ".jar" by renaming it.
Share it. Hope it works for you! God bless...

Just remember that this book is for JC 2.1 not 2.2.1. I have still found this book good for explaining the fundamentals of Java Card development. It just doesn't cover all of the JC 2.2.x API's.

  • Sound Card for Power Mac G4 Quicksilver

I was having a look around for sound cards for the Power Mac G4 Quicksilver and read about the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 and 7.1. Are these the best sound cards available for the G4 Quicksilver? Are there better ones?
    Sam

I've started using the iMic by Griffin. It's an USB stereo input/output audio adapter with both mic and line level input/ouput. They provide a free download of their audio editing software called Finyl Vinyl (I think), which lets you record and edit audio mainly (though you can input video with the adapter - need different software though). Though it's intended mainly for recording from turntables, you can input and edit most any audio with a mini plug to RCA jacks cable. I've used a cassette deck and a mini disc recorder so far. I haven't played much with the mic input so far, but the line in audio is very good (I've worked in community radio for a while now, so I have a pretty good ear). The adapter also works with other audio editing software like Audacity and Logic Express (possibly Garageband too, I haven't tried). And it's available for under $30 on places like eBay.
