Maximum user and hardware requirement for SAP B1
Dear All,
One of our prospect said that they will need 80 users and 160 connections to servers. And every year there will be additional user growth as much 30. What will be the hardware requirement for that ? has SAP B1 installed in that kind situation ? I appreciate your answer.
Rgds,
Mark,
Please refer to the following PDF
https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700000270512007E&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000183&_ADDINC=
Regarding 80 user initially with a growth of 30 user every year should not be a problem, but you might want to consider the volume of transactions to determine the performance aspect of the system.

Gathering Technical and Business Requirements for SAP PI
I need to some documents and tools, or interview guide & questionnaire to gather the stakeholders' technical and business requirements for SAP PI
Thanks for the links,
I am quite new at SAP and currently trying to elaborate should i use SAP PI or not based on my project stakeholder's requirements.
And my biggest problem right now is how to capture technology and business requirements and match them with SAP PI
I plan to use this format while requirements gathering about integration platform:
1- Draft Requirements
Q- What is the names and status of sending and receiving application and how they will be used
2- Detailed Requirements
Q- Connectivity, Administrative and Business related questins
3- Administrative and project management information
Q- Which applications are involved, who is the original supplier? Who is technical contact at the supplier
4- Business requirements
Q- Questions about the information flow which will support some business processes
5- Connectivity to applications
Q- Questions about connectivity mechanism, file formats (flat file or XML or something else), data access methods and so on
What do you think about the general concept?

Marcel JahnHi,
IDES 7.10?!?
If it's an IDES system you want to set up, HDD space may be the bottleneck. It's sufficient for installation, but you may run out of disk space since note <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1013391">1013391</a> states
Hardware Requirement
MS-SQL ORACLE MaxDB DB2 Win/Unix AS/400
DB size (GB): 160 220 220 160 280
Since IDES is for education and training purposes only the rest should be sufficient.
I'm running an ERP 6.0 IDES system (32 bit) on a single core, 3.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB System and 500 GB SAP/DB HDD with pretty good response time.

Hardware requirement for SAP HANA
All,
I am following all about HANA modelling and other related topics. Now, i am concentrating for the hardware part.
Does SAP HANA requires separate hardware than that of existing ECC hardware? I mean can ECC instance & HANA run on same hardware or always it is required to run HANA on separate hardware?

Hardware Requirement for SP 2013 for 100 Users but many sites and functionalities
Hi,
We need to implement SharePoint 2013 containing the below:
100 users: 50 domain users and 50 forms authentication users.
Holding 60 sites:
12 main site collections and 30 sub sites for intranet use with windows authentication
One site collection with 30 sub sites for internet use with forms authentication
Using SharePoint Search to crawl Drives
Using SharePoint Web services for Mobile App
According to what I understand from
Hardware and software requirements for SharePoint 2013 I have 2 options:
Single server with SQL Server: 64-bit, 4 Cores - 24 GB RAM - 80 GB System Drive
Three-tier Farm:
2 servers (Web Tier and Application Tier) each of: 64-bit, 4 Cores - 12 GB RAM - 80 GB System Drive
One SQL Server: 64-bit, 4 Cores - 8 GB RAM - 80 GB System Drive
Is that right? If it is right, then which option is better for my requirements?
Thank you.If you're really set to go with one server, you can do two-tier on the same server.
You can install SQL Server on the same server as SharePoint (this is the "complete" option in SharePoint, not the "standalone"). If you set up and use a SQL client alias (which you should), you can move the SQL instance at a later date without having to
rebuild your farm.
