Because of the power it needs its only for iPhone 4s even the iPhone4 isn't powerful enough to use it due to processing power (it did have a decent Siri app that got pulled of the app store though that did the same thing) also 3GS is getting a limited version of iOS 5 so not all features will be on it Here's a good webpage to look at with video of iOS 5 beta running on 3GS

It could be that someone has accessed your AppleID/iCloud account with out authorization. Or it could be that you forgot to remove find my iPhone form a phone that your previously owned.
Change your Apple ID password.

Siri is not and has never been available for separate purchase (from Apple, that is; this does not mean the free app from the former company) and will not be available on an iPhone 4. Sorry. There are some third-party apps that offer some of the functionality of Siri, including dictations (Nuance's app).

If you have a 4S, it is already installed.

Although there is not a way to remove past purchases from your iTunes account completely, you can hide them so that you don't have to see them if you don't want to. This article will help you do that:
iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support
Hide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
From the Store menu, choose Store > Sign In, and then enter your Apple ID and password.
Go to the iTunes Store.
Click Purchased from the Quick Links section on the right side of the iTunes Store.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books from the top of the window.
A list of your purchased items for the content type you are viewing will appear. Mouse over the item you want to hide until an X appears its top-left corner.
A confirmation dialog will appear once you click the X.

How can I check how many times or when an app has been re-downloaded on my iphone. I know how to check purchases but I am looking for how to check when an app had been re-downloaded on my device whether it's through my device or Apple ID

You mention "lack of control" several times. The control is there - you control the Apple ID and password that owns the app. No other Apple ID can use the app. You have not shared your Apple ID or password with anyone, so you and only you own the app.
Therefore, the number of times the app is downloaded or re-downloaded is completely irrelevant. You might, for example, decide to purchase a new iPhone or iPad and download the app there. Or the app developer may issue a new version which you download. None of this matters regarding your "control" of the app. All that matters is that you own it and nobody else can use it.

Downloaded IOS7 on iPhone 4, have sprint as carrier, now when another Sprint phone sends a text to my sons iPhone, Im getting a copy of the texts being sent to him. Plus when I send a text, it shows as coming from my sons. What's up, how can I fix this?

I have downloaded ios7 on iphone 4s, Sprint is my carrier. When I send a text to anohter iphone ALSO using sprint, it shows as coming from my sons phone. When he gets a message from another iphone using sprint, I get copies of his messages. Go figure. It seems to be only other IPhones and Sprint users. Hasnt' happend with android phones texting him, or him texting to androids or carriers that are not sprint.

The fact that the problem only occurs when iphones are texting you leads me to think that iMessage may be the culprit. The fact that it is only iphones using SPRINT however is weird. Try turning imessage off on both yours and your sons phones to see if the problem persists. If it does, it may be a carrier problem.

Did you try shutting down the device? Resetting? Disabling iCloud? Disabling auto-update?
I'd find the problem that is keeping the download from proceeding and fix that so that the process can finish...sounds like it may be your connection or a server issue, in which case you may need to wait.

Hi - I'm a vid beginner, actually have a training session tomorrow at an App Store, but for now...what's the easiest way to cut out about 20 seconds (in the middle) of a minute plus vid that i made on and downloaded from my iPhone 6? I I'mported the clip to iPhoto on my new Macbook pro. The TRIM function in iPhoto seems only to want to let me cut from either end. I guess if I do cut out a section in the middle, maybe 'glueing' the sections back together is too much for iPhoto to handle (?). I spent about 10 minutes just trying to (unsuccessfully) import to iMovie, so that aint working either. Quicktime maybe? Thx for reading

IOS 5 Siri on iPhone 4

I have an iPhone 4 and just downloaded the iOS 5 software. I can't seem to access the "SIRI" software, or the voice controlled software in the new update. Is anyone else have this problem? How would I access this? And is it only for the iPhone 4S?
