    When i run an abap hr report using foreground or background iam able to create a business event in PV11 transaction.Using this business event further logic will go.
    But when the same report run by autosys user it is not creating the business event and throwing an exception bcoz every record it is taking business event is '00000000'.
    As per the process every record new business event should create and  run further with the event,
    My question is why it is running with normal process and not working with autosys user,
    If any one have similar type of problem faced or any solution highly apprciated.

  • How soon can I expect a response to my problem/question posted on this site re my Bravia firmware up

    Again, how soon before I can expect a response via email re my problem with firm ware update for my Sony Bravia 40ex500?  thank you.

    Mumbodog.
    Thanks for your suggestion. I have already sent a message, using your link address, to Meg Whitman. It was polite and professional. I simply asked why HP would not support their good customers when their products failed in such a dangerous and obvious manner. That was almost two weeks ago. I believe that no response from anyone at HP is an indication of their corporate philosophy.....don't acknowledge a problem until it becomes a "universal" problem. Apparently I'm the only one to have this experience.
    Thanks for your interest.

  • Expecting a response within a specified time frame

    I need urgent help please.
    I am expecting some data from the server within 20 seconds.
    If I dont receive this data within the time frame,I exit from
    the application else If i receive this data I will display it.
    Please can any write a small example for this threading concept.
    I am very new to this.

    Let suppose this is your communication dialog window:
    call createTimer(int sleep) after you send a request to the server
    class MyDialog  extends JDialog implements ActionListener
        private javax.swing.Timer   m_timer    = null;
        public MyDialog(*********)
            super(*********);
            addActionListener(this);
        private void createTimer(int sleep)
            m_timer = new javax.swing.Timer(sleep, this);
            m_timer.setRepeats(false);
            m_timer.start();
        public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
            if(e.getSource() == m_timer)
                // check your "response flag"
    }lic void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
    if(e.getSource() == m_timer)
    // check your "response flag"

  • Synchronous / Asynchronous Interface

    I am kinda confused about Synchronous interface/asynchronous.. When we talk about synchronous are we talking synchronous for the entire interface (From Sender system to XI to Receiver system) or we are just referring to Connection with XI system?
    If somebody can explain a classic synchronous and asynchronous scenario with a good example, I would really appreciate it..

    > I am kinda confused about Synchronous
    > interface/asynchronous.. When we talk about
    > synchronous are we talking synchronous for the entire
    > interface (From Sender system to XI to Receiver
    > system) or we are just referring to Connection with
    > XI system?
    XI decouples the sender and receiver of messages through interfaces. So, if the interface for the sender (called outbound interface) is synchronous, the sender is blocking on the request and the sender expects a response from XI synchronously.
    Consider
    System A -> XI -> System B
    If A's interface in XI is synchronous, then XI has to send a response to A synchronously. However XI may have an asynchronous interface with B. i.e. XI may post a message to B and may not expect a response from B. But A will not care what kind of processing happened between and B as long as A got a response back.

  • Building Bluetooth program on LabVIEW

    Hi there,
    I am doing a project where I am suppose to build a Bluetooth software using LabVIEW to replace the current Bluetooth software for a set of timing lights (uses Bluetooth as means of communicating with the computer). This is how the setup is suppose to work,
    1. The timing lights are on. A set of 7 pairs. One emitter and one receiver each. Light from emitter is received by the receiver. All 7 pairs are linked to the computer via Bluetooth.
    2. When the connection between the emitter and receiver is broken, a signal is sent to the computer.
    That is basically how they work. I have tried the Bluetooth examples but they are somewhat different from what I need to do. I was wondering if it was possible to just create one Bluetooth VI which is able to just acquire, process and present the signals (either light received or not) from the timing lights just like a data acquisition VI.
    p/s I am new to how Bluetooth works so I am not sure what signal(s) is sent from the timing lights. How can I check what signal is sent from the timing lights? Any help on this is really appreciated. Thx.

    > I am doing a project where I am suppose to build a Bluetooth software using LabVIEW
    > to replace the current Bluetooth software for a set of timing lights (uses Bluetooth as
    >  means of communicating with the computer).
    There are really two separate tasks here - first, getting registers (or variables) for the timing lights.
    The second task is transmitting the data by Bluetooth radio/software.
    > 1. The timing lights are on. A set of 7 pairs. One emitter and one receiver each.
    So each receiver is a separate Bluetooth radio?  Then when you do a "Bluetooth Discover"
    you should find (at least) 7 addresses (listed for example as 12:34:56:7a:bc:de").
    Use each of these addresses as an input to a separate "Bluetooth Open" - which will give
    you 7 separate connection ID's.  Most likely you will use Channel 1 for the Bluetooth Open too.
    Then it's simply a matter of using "Bluetooth Read" to listen for any response.  I use a 1ms
    timeout and ignore timeout errors ("the device just doesn't have anything to say").  You
    may always expect a response from yours (light or no light), or you may want a longer timeout,
    and/or use a timer so that you aren't polling every microsecond.
    > 2. When the connection between the emitter and receiver is broken, a signal is sent to the computer.
    > I was wondering if it was possible to just create one Bluetooth VI which is able to just acquire,
    > process and present the signals (either light received or not) from the timing lights just like a data acquisition VI.
    Sure.  I would use a state machine.  The "initialize" would do a discover (if you don't have the addresses
    hard coded).  You may need some method of selecting devices so that you don't get everybody's
    cell-phone head set.
    Then go to state "open" where you open all 7 bluetooths.  Pass the 7 connectID's to the "Read" state
    where you read the current data from all 7 receivers.  (If you have to write a message to them before
    you can read a response, be sure to do that too.)  This data is presented on the panel in any
    format you desire.  Put in the desired time-delay/polling rate and continue in the "Read" state.
    The Stop button on your panel takes you out of the Read state and goes to the Disconnect state
    where you disconnect all 7 bluetooths.
    That should do it.

  • Expecting response from the XI engine

    Hi,
    I am currently working on a prototype scenario where we are connecting an external webservise with SAP R/3 through XI. The external system (webservice) makes a call to XI and expects a response back as soon as the message reaches XI. Is there any way we can send the acknowledgement from XI (either from Adapter Engine or Integration Engine???) to the sender webservice?
    I greatly appreciate valuable input.
    Thank you,
    Arjun.

    Hi Arjun -
    When the web service client makes an asynchronous call to XI/SOAP adapter, the adapter will return a HTTP 200 response with an empty SOAP envelope.  The client can look for this as a technical acknoledgement that the message was received.
    Keep in mind however that this doesn't provide guaranteed, EO delivery, but rather "AtLeastOnce" delivery - a small chance for duplicates can occur.  In order to eliminate this possibility, the client can send a unique message id in the request.  See the SOAP FAQ Note - 856597 for more details.
    Regards,
    Jin

  • Differing Web Service responses between 10.1.3.3 and 11g

    In our production environment we have deployed several ESB projects. I am currently going through these projects and attempting to update them to 11g. These projects follow the same basic design. In the 101.3.4 environment they consist of an exposed routing service generated from a schema document which routes to a Web service adapter. The exposed service is called from our asset management system the service adapter is invoking a PeopleSoft Asynchronous one way web service. In 11g this became two web service adapters (the first as an exposed one-way service) linked by a mediator.
    In our 101.3.4 environment this process worked without exceptions. After upgrading the project our asset management system would raise an exception after each call to the exposed service. Interestingly I can check em and also PeopleSoft and the payload is successfully delivered. When I review the instance in em there are no faults or exceptions. I have auditing turned on and can see that the service, mediator and reference steps have all successfully completed. When I look at the log for the particular instance I do receive a warning which states:
    Error parsing envelope: most likely due to an invalid SOAP message.: Unexpected EOF in prolog\r\n at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,0]
    I used soapUI to debug the service calls. If I call the PeopleSoft web service without using the mediator project I receive the following response:
    Tue Aug 18 20:55:37 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "HTTP/1.1 200 OK[\r][\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:55:37 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "HTTP/1.1 200 OK[\r][\n]"

    Tue Aug 18 20:55:37 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "X-Powered-By: Servlet/2.4 JSP/2.0[\r][\n]"
    When I call the exposed service in my 10.1.3.4 ESB project I receive the following response:
    Tue Aug 18 20:57:26 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "HTTP/1.1 200 OK[\r][\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:57:26 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "HTTP/1.1 200 OK[\r][\n]"

    Tue Aug 18 20:57:26 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< " <soapenv:Body/>[\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:57:26 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "</soapenv:Envelope>"
    You will notice that what is returned is a soap envelope which has an empty body.
    If i then make the call through the 11g exposed service I get the following response:
    Tue Aug 18 20:58:46 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "HTTP/1.1 202 Accepted[\r][\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:58:46 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "HTTP/1.1 202 Accepted[\r][\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:58:46 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "Date: Wed, 19 Aug 2009 03:58:46 GMT[\r][\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:58:46 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "Content-Length: 0[\r][\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:58:46 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "Content-Type: [\r][\n]"

    Tue Aug 18 20:58:46 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "X-Powered-By: Servlet/2.5 JSP/2.1[\r][\n]"
    Tue Aug 18 20:58:46 PDT 2009:DEBUG:<< "[\r][\n]"
    I believe the exception being thrown by the asset management system is a result of the zero length, empty content-type being returned from my mediator service or possibly the fact that the return code is 202 as opposed to 200.
    First I would like to know if anyone has experienced the same behavior and whether this behavior is by design. Is a response required from all services even if they are one way?
    Second if this is by design is it possible within the mediator project to force a return code of 200 and a response that includes an empty soap envelope?
    Of course any other solutions are welcome as well. I am leaning towards a solution which can be implemented within my mediator project as I have much more flexibility there then either of the other participating systems.
    Thank you very much.

    After exploring this issue with Oracle Support and doing some of my own research I believe that the issue is not the SOA Suite but rather the third party system which was calling exposed service in the SOA Suite. According to the link below both the response returned from the 10.1.3.4 esb project and the 11.1.1.1 mediator project are valid. What is returned from calling a one-way service appears to be up to the implementer of the service.

    "This SOAP 1.1 request optional response HTTP binding, in conjunction with the SOAP 1.1 binding [SOAP 1.1], can be used for sending request messages with an optional SOAP response. This binding augments the SOAP 1.1 binding by allowing that the HTTP [RFC 2616] response MAY have a 202 status code and the response body MAY be empty. Note that the HTTP [RFC 2616] specification states "the 202 response is intentionally non-committal" and so any content in the response body, including a SOAP Envelope, MAY not be an expected SOAP response"

  • Condition check through BPM...............response from IDOC

    Hi All,
               I have a scenario like this:
    The data is coming from a system through a webservice and the SOAP data to be mapped to idoc.But the trick is the idoc is aasynchronous one and the webservice expects a response in return as its designed synchronous.  please suggest.
    Again the webservice data contains some specific data field and on checking the relevence of the data we need to post that to idoc otherwise we can rollback.can this be checked with BPM?
    if possible please suggest elaborately and if possible through another way suggest that also.
    Abhishek

    Use BPM. The Idoc Ack in the form of ALEAUD has to be configured at receiver. This Idoc can be caught in BPM in the form of acknowledgement idoc. Once received, u may use tranform step of BPM to map certain values to ur webservice response. Use Sync-Async bridge concept (many weblogs available on sdn)
    checking the relevence of the data
    What is the logic here. U may check certain conditions in mapping directly and raise an alert accordingly.

  • Passing parameter to response pipeline

    Hi,
    I'm trying to do the following:
    - PS1 calls a BS1 that inserts some stuff to a database. This BS1 doesn't return anything (I'm using some database exposed through JCA adapters).
    - I need to know the specific messageID that reached that BS1 (and was inserted), on the response pipeline in order to block the pipeline until I got some response available for that messageID.
    I know that:
    - when you call a routenode your soap body is removed. so if your BS doesn't return anything you are stuck with a null body on your response pipeline.
    My question is: how can I pass a messageID (that was previously defined on SOAP body on request pipeline) to response pipeline on that same PS1?
    My guess is: using some transport header that isn't overwrited during runtime!! but which one? I'm using http transport.
    thanks for all your help! :)

    As you have indicated that JCA BS is a request only (no response). So what is that you are expecting as response "block the pipeline until I got some response"?
    Can you please explain?I know that:
    - when you call a routenode your soap body is removed. so if your BS doesn't return anything you are stuck with a null body on your response pipeline.
    My question is: how can I pass a messageID (that was previously defined on SOAP body on request pipeline) to response pipeline on that same PS1?
    Easy. Store the messageID (that was previously defined on SOAP body on request pipeline) in a xml variable in request pipeline before the route node. Use the same varaible to populate the response payload in response pipelineMy guess is: using some transport header that isn't overwrited during runtime!! but which one? I'm using http transport.
    Don't go with above approach even though it solves your use-case. storing in varaible is lot elegant and easy to implement/maintain.Manoj

  • Engineer charges that hopefully get a response

    I have received a bill from BT which includes a £129.99 charge for an engineer call out which I would like to report as being wrongly charged.
    I called BT about a broadband fault, and supplied them with a pathping, on two separate occasions, which I will include below, that clearly demonstrate that the fault did not lie anywhere near my premises or the local exchange. The packet loss was occurring much further upstream, which is why I thought the pathping would be useful.
    I was informed at the time that sending an engineer out " was all they could do" despite me advising them that it would be a waste of time. I advised them at that time that under no circumstances would I agree to pay for an engineer but they sent one anyway.
    The engineer came, found no fault with any of the wiring fitted by them two weeks previously and after talking to BT today, I was told that the charge was due to "software settings" on my machine. Incidentally this would indicate that the "software settings" were also at fault on two Android phones, an Android tablet, an XBox and a PS4, all of which were suffering from a dropping connection. When I asked for more details on what settings they were referring to the answer I received was “we have no idea”.
    The fault has since been rectified but I had made no changes to machine or any of my devices. As the pathpings below show, the fault was no fault of mine. Please feel free to call me on xxxxx xxxxxx to discuss this matter as this charge is extremely unfair and I wish to have this resolved as soon as possible, thank you

    The first trace clearly shows packet loss of 81% on the network and the second shows 66% packet loss, both on ip addresses that are nowhere near my home. I called BT to complain about this charge and was given the details below
    Fault summary
    Fault number:VOL051-xxxxxxxxxxxx
    Date reported:28 May 2014
    Date closedpen
    Product affected:Broadband fault
    Telephone number:01XXXXXXXXX
    I attempted to demonstrate the pathping to the engineer on his visit but he refused as he clearly had no comprehension whatsoever of the process I was describing. He did admit that he hadn’t “done this for two years and all he can really do is a line test”. I work as an infrastructure engineer and deal with issues like this on a daily basis, I look forward to hearing from you.

    PS I was called back today by a very rude unhelpful individual called Wade who constantly interrupted me when I was describing this issue and whose customer service skills were non existant. I was assured this would be passed to a “final review team” and I would be called back. I assume they will as unhelpful and unknowledgeable as his previous colleagues.

    I absolutely appreciate what a customer forum is and did not, at anytime, expect a BT customer to spring to my assistance with any "heres exactly what to do" responses. But, since there is no facility to email BT as we are now all pointed towards these forums and there are BT employees who have nominated themselves as mods, then when someone posts a technical question, I would at very least expect a response from a mod. Since there is clearly not, I'm therefore left with the opnion that there is noone within BT, either over the phone or on a forum who is able to answer a technical query. The individual who laughably referred to himself as a level 2 analyst was more interesting in arguing about whether I needed to reference the www when I was showing him a ping to demostrate pack loss. This is the type of customer service a company like BT should be thouroughly ashamed of.

  • Disappointed with lack of responses  from Adobe staff

    Recently I've posted a few questions. In the meantime I've
    resolved all problems by trial and error. Most problems have been
    cause by not having complete documentation available.
    I just posted a topic -
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?forumid=72&catid=602&threadid =1248092&enterthread=y
    but no longer do I expect a response. Sometimes after a
    search, I see that others have the same or similar problems, but no
    one has answered them.
    Does Adobe expect success with Spry? If so I think they need
    to help the small band of people struggling with it!
    VERY disappointed.
    I also not that at the bottom of the main page of this forum,
    it states, "Important Note: These online forums are for
    user-to-user discussions of Adobe products, and are not an official
    customer support channel for Adobe. If you require direct
    assistance, or prefer to contact Adobe support staff directly,
    please contact Adobe support. "
    But when you click the link, there's no select option for
    Spry!!!

    Hi Kate,
    Believe me when I say that I understand your frustration. I
    just want to state for the record that what seems like our lack of
    response or interest in this forum is not intentional.
    The lack of timely responses is due mainly to the fact that
    we have *lots* of things going on behind the scenes here. Some of
    us read the forums in real-time, and chime in any spare moment we
    have, and it's also frustrating for us to see folks struggling.
    Some posts are easy to answer within a couple of minutes, and some
    take hours to help folks figure out what's going on in their
    pages/apps/site.
    You bring up some very valid points, and I've forwarded them
    on to the appropriate folks internally.
    That said, it seems like most of your questions that have
    gone unanswered revolve around validation widgets. I'll try to
    answer your questions, and perhaps poke other who know more if I
    can't figure it out.
