MB 90 printout issue

Dear all,
i hv posted stor L to Stor L doceument but i m not geting printout in MB90.
i hv tick mark of print out in the mb1b - process mov 311
geting msg
No messages for initial processing exist
Message no. VN108
Pls Advice.. if hav any config

check your settings as per below...
Check following are some of steps for GR collective printing from SDN only
1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Pr Det by Pl/StoLoc, maintain the Output device for all your Plants
7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately.

We have given purchase order printout in HP Laser Jet P1505N printer (ZHPLJCM1 device type), but right border line is not printing.
But the same printout is coming clear in other printer models like Hp laser jet 1020 & Hp laser jet 1022n (SWIN device type).
Please help me on this issue

if you're using SAPGUI for Windows than you can rely on SAPWIN for device type or you can upload your own device type. HP has provide specific driver for SAP on this website (http://h71028.www7.hp.com/enterprise/cache/37011-0-0-225-121.html)

PO printout issue

Hi,
I have a pecliar issue with PO printout,
User has raised 7 POs at a time and 6 POs he is able to take printout but the but one PO for which neither print preview is not visible nor able to take Printout.Even in ME9F Particular PO get displayed but is not printing,We see no problem with configuration,No problem with SMARTFORM,No message is generated in process log.Our ABAPer couldnt trace the issue .
what could be the problem?

Hi,
Go in PO change mode and again assign new output message type NEU or may be what ur suing and again try it compare which output message type u have assign to toher PO for which u have got proper print out.

Printout issue in Smart form

Hi Everybody,
My ABAPer is having an issue in Printing Smatforms. He has created one Smartform for TC (Test Certificate) there he has mentioned some font style and its size. In Print preview it is coming as how he has mentioned in the smartform. when he takes printout from Dotmatrix(Epson) printer it does not come but it is coming when he takes it from Laserjet Printer.we want this TC to be printed in the Dotmatrix printer in such a way how he has mentioned.
He wanted me to check font families in se73.i think changes made in se73 will only affect script not Smartforms.how can i help him resolve this issue from Basis side

Hi Siva,
A Dotmatrix printer is a character based or a line based printer so while printing it will read the characters or the lines. A Laser printer is a Pixel Based Printer and can easily print graphics/boxes.
I dont think a SMART FORM can be printed correctly on the DOT MATRIX printer because any misplacings while reading a line can cause the form to go haywire!
No fix available in SAP notes.
Refer this 19807 - print problems with standard driver STN2. It states there should be no mixed fonts on the same line. No strange tabs etc..
Just make sure that you properly strip the margins out of the paragraph formats and keep the form proper in design.
In one line - nothing really which can be done from Basis.

Invoice printout issue

Hi,
I have a strange situation.
For an invoice we have configured automatic trigger of o/p type in the form of printouts.However for few invoices the customer has payed which means that he received the invoices.
But the SAP system shows that the printout is still unprocessed(processing status = 2 as not processed ).
So I am not sure if there is some problem in the system or do I need to apply any SAP note.
My SAP system is ECC 5.0.

Since you maintained the DESPATCH TIME as "using the own application program" you have to defin your own program to process the output.
In standard the DESPATCH TIME will be either 1 or 4 which used to process the outputs using the standard program RSNAST00.
Please try using RSNAST00 or else create one Z program by copying Standard program and include this in you print program.
Else change the despatch time in the condition records.

Material document printout issue 541

Iam trying to take printout of the material document which has been posted with 541 movement type.
1. new output type copied from wa01 and created as DEMO
2. created access sequence with condition table 503(only plant is there in that table)
3. assigned access sequence to DEMO
4. maintained condition records also
5. In MB02 i have assigned that DEMO output type to that material document
Even though i am getting the message
No messages for repeat processing exist
Message no. VN109
Pls suggest

Check the output conditions has maintained properly in MN21 transaction.
1 Material Document Printout 1 3 EN
If its OK,
Then check in MB90 transaction for
Processing mode 1

when i tried to take printout in MB90

sort order:01
Processing mode: 1
Doc year
Material document: 490000010
I tried with output type we01, we02,we03
Then i tried with processing mode 2 also
No messages for repeat processing exist

Go to T Code:MB02
Enter Doc no and yr
Click on the Detail frm item Tab>Click on Message tab>Then enter we03 Type for the GR OR GI for wa03 and Select medium as 1(Print out)>Enter the Language as EN
Selest the line and Click on Further data Tab>Select the Option 3>F3>
Again select the line click on Communication method>Enter the Logical Destn( LP01) then Flag the check box of Print Immediately and Rls after o/p.
Then Save it
Now Go to MB90 T code:
Enter the Doc no,year and O/p type
Execute it and take the Print.

Sales order printout issue.

Hi,
I have a unique problem at the client site, all sales orders for international customers have incorrect currency format, I think it is standard German format.
for example: $2,500.00 is printed as $2.500,00
Everything seems alright, even when I view the sales order in VA03, its in the right format. So, its only a problem of print outs.
This is not happening to sales orders for local customers.
Is there a customizing setting which I need to make?

In standard SAP systems a , represents a . and the . represents a ,
don't get confused.
If you want to change this, talk to your ABAPer and debug and try to make changes for only the international customers.

if you want to use a Print Queue other then the ones displayed in your screen shot, then you can define one in the Workcenter 'Application and user management' -> view 'Print Queues'

Adobe CS2 / 10.4 Printing problem - Fonts

I have a studio with 30+ Macs (one of many ) using CS2 printing to Xerox RIP's or PS files Distilled.
The issue being parts of words not appearing on the prints.
We have said it's the fonts, we've said it's this and or that but the only thing I can put it down to is the underlying print system CUPS and caches and stuff I didn't need to worry about in system 9 !
My users output several thousand pages per week both to the printers and pdf.
So it's back to the OS or Adobe...
Yes I now clean the caches...
Is there ANYONE out there who looks after design/advertising studios with printout issues ?

We didn't have a problem when I started them on 10.4.5, but we're now up to 10.4.8 ... Has something changed in CUPS filters from 10.4.5 to now ?

We've had similar issues from InDesign to our Canon's using EFI (Fiery) print controllers. The issue was with the RIP and ps driver. We thought it was ID as it seemed to be the only app having the issue of some text dropping out when there was any background. Canon support felt it was Adobe and they in turn suggested the RIP. In the end a new version of firmware was loaded into the RIP and the problem stopped.
Anyway, I think that Xerox uses Fiery's also so check with X to see if they have a latter system for the RIP.

Output message for movement type

Where do configure to have Collective or Individual and the print (Tick) by default to have in the material documents.
Currently my GR or GI documents doesn't have the collective or individual. Manually in MIGO i need to select and tick for print.
MN21 doesn't help.

For automatic GR print which you need setting as default GR Output type as u201CIndividual Slipu201D or "Collective slip" in MIGO.
Now decide which one you need u201CIndividual Slipu201D or "Collective slip"
Option-1: For u201CIndividual Slipu201D
Use T.Code: OMJN, you need activate Individual Slip with field RM07M-WVERS1, Click on Selection button as per your requirement whether you want Required, Hide, Display & save.
Use T-Code : MN22,clicking on Communication TAB and ticking the check box release immediately & print immediately & maintaining print upon saving should solve this.
By doing this as soon GR is saved system will automatically print with individual slip.
Option-2: For "Collective slip"
Use T.Code: OMJN, you need activate Individual Slip with field : RM07M-WVERS3, Click on Selection button as per your requirement whether you want Required, Hide, Display & save.

Wrong yield / estimated pages remaining on Q7583A and Q7582A cartridges

Printer used is HP 3800n and the yellow cartridge is listed as having 24000 remaining and the count doesn't decrease and the pages printed is stuck at 9920 (75% used now). The magenta has 22980 as the estimate (this one does decrease with usage) and pages printed is stuck at 15320.
Thses are 6000 pages cartridges. I also have a Q6470A cartridges that always get the same installation date and last for only 12 days but I'm still investigating that issue myself.
The carts are genuine and the info follows them when testing on other printers.
Firmware Datecode: 20080408 46.040.2
Does anyone have experience with these issues? I'm returning the cartridges but the more info I get the better

SAP script printout alignment issue

I have facing one Script Printout Alignment issue.
SAP Script Form printing some Values in Table format.
While debugging( in debug mode ), I am getting the correct Alignment ( Proper table format with values ).
But in printout the Alignment( The vertical and horizontal lines are not printed properly ) is not correct.

Getting sucess message as output could not be issued after the printout

in the Transacation VF02 i want to print my Z smartform.
so in the NACE transaction i have copied the RD00 and created Z entry and the Zsmartform.but the After printing the smartform i am getting the success message in the bottom of the screen as output could not be issued.but i should get the message as output is issued succesfully since i got the print.
pls suggest me
