MB1B - Mvt Type 322 to Move Unrestricted to Quality.

I am trying to move stock to Quality using Movement type 322 in transaction MB1B and getting the message "Change Inspection Stock of Material XX in QM Only".
I checked the Material Master QM view and found that Inspection Setup is active which wont let me use MB1B to do the transfer posting.
Please suggest an alternate way to perform this task, I can't change material master data.

Can u please suggest the Txn to clear the lot from QM before trying this step.
Also, this posting is moving the stock to 922 (Storage Type) TR-ZONE (Bin). Is there a way to directly move stuff to a specific storage type instead of the transfer one.

MB1B, Mvt Type 351 not posting to "stock in transit"

Hello Experts,
I have created the STO. Now I am executing MB1B with mvt type 351. When I open the material document created, I look at the financial documents, the stock value has been relieved from the supplying plant and posted to the receiving plant. I thought using the 351 mvt was to put the stock in a status of "stock in transit". Only when the receiving plant performs the goods receipt should the stock value post in their plant. Am I using the wrong mvt type or is there a setting I must do to be able to post a material to "stock in transit" status?

3)go to migo and make GR(movement type:101) at receiving plant agaist material issue document no or sto
For this you need to maintain some configuration at
SPRO: MM > Purchasing > purchase order > set up Stock transfer order
check your settings at this node:
"Assign document type . one step procedure, undelivery tolerance" mention supplying plant,
receiving plant, document type and tick required check boxes

Add New field in OMJJ for MB1B mvt type: 303

Hello Experts,
I need your help in resolving an issue:
I am tring to add a Field: "LFSNR" in OMJJ for Tcode: MB1B and Movement type: 303. but i am getting the error: "Field LFSNR is not
allowed for transaction type 303" as this field doesnt exist in table: T156B / MIGO_CUST_FIELDS.
Please help me with your thoughts as how can i add a new field to T156B / MIGO_CUST_FIELDS and then in OMJJ for 303 mvt type.
We are on ECC 6 EHp4.

MB1B Mvt Type 413 E - GL Account requires an assignment to a CO Object

Hi,
We are trying to transfer stock from one sales order to other, system is giving the error " GL Account requires an assignment to a CO Object". Movement type 413 E through MB1B. We are using MTO scenario.
The question is that we are giving both the sales order number (from and and to) whic are itself CO Object then why is the sytem asking for another assignment?

MB1B mvt type 541.

Hi,
setting in a PO in view consignement the "unlimited" flag means that in MB1B with reference to that PO (mvt 541) sending an unlimited quantity to vendor
and the system next time will not propose the remaining difference?

Yes with respect to PO using MB1B 541 you can send unlimited qty as long as
there is stock available with you for that item and its standard setting
But there is no ralation between with unlimited tick of this
is it the same thing you are asking?

MB1C for 521 mvt types

Hi,
I was doing MB1C with 521 mvt type (Receipt without order ) .
Then its asking for the 'order no' , which is shown as mandatory field.
Why it is like this , if it is receipt without any order no , why it should be a mandatory entry.
Can anyone please help me?

Hi,
It appears from the selection you made for the transaction, order number is not required. But , the actual functionality depends on the customisation done.
Please check the option entered for the field "AUFNR" for the movement no 521 , usig the following menu path in SPRO :
SPRO - Inventory Management and Physical Inventory - Settings for Enjoy Transactions - Settings for Goods Movements (MIGO) - Field Selection per Mvt Type.
For movement type 521 , the option of "optional field " should be selected.
Then your problem would be solved.
How ever consult other functional experts at your place as , this selection is generally a business strategy/requirement ( after the initial activities , some of such functionalities are intentionally restricted , to improve accountability)

Issue in moving material from unres to qual using 322 mvt. type

There is a scenario in which user trying move the material from unres to quality using movement type 322 in MB1B.
error: Stock posting possible in qm only.
Material Master: activated for the material.
query; Is it possible to use mb1b to move from unres to qual?
What are other way to bring the unrestricted to quality, is that any material qm view setup required to achieve this.

We need to put it first into quality from unrestricted and then return.
Dear from unrestricted to QI you can bring back through MB1B 322 movement type it is standard process but in your case it is not allowing because the stock which is in unrestricted was cleared means usage decision stock posted by UD so to bring back that stock in QI again you need to reverser that UD first for that refer my previous reply and apply note which will reverse the lot.
what is the normal process steps for vendor return.{quote}

Hello Ameya,
The only one mvt type 321 is used to move material from QI to UR - Unrestricted. This can be done through MB1B transaction code (if QM module is not active) or using QA11 (usage Decision) as explained by Srinivas.

Hi,
Basically, system is preventing you from managing stock of QM controlled material through non-QM transactions. You must be getting this error "Change the inspection stock in QM only"
You can post this quantity into QI via two methods,
Activate inspection type 08 for this material and then do the 322 mvmt. This will move the quantity into QI with an additional inspection lot of 08 origin.
Take complete quantity out of QI, Deactivate existing 'Stock relevant' inspection types and then do the 322 mvmt.
I'll suggest you to go with first option as it is more feasible and convenient.

Yes.. you are correct. But with the info that is provided by EXIT_SAPLQAAT_002, you should be able to identify the proper material document in table MSEG which will have the material movement.
You can use the values of plant, batch, material number, Purchase order number, Order number, item number, storage location as well as the current date since the exit would normally be executed on the same date the material movement was done. You'd also probably only execute the logic if QKZ is "X".

Goods Issue not possible with ref to Reservation using 201 mvt type when reservation created by 311 movement type

HI MM Folks,
My requirement is reservation should be created with 311 movt type. When we do good issue with 201 movt type with reference to reservation
system is throwing an error "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 311". Due to MRP run we should create a reservation using 311 movement type but not 201 mvt type, (If we create a reservation 201 movt type, during MRP run automatically reservation quantity also taking into consideration, to avoid this we will be creating reservation as 311 movt type). Is there any enhancement to available to reach the requirement. If it is possible give me guidelines.

Movement type 311 is for doing transfer posting from storage location to storage location with single step.But Movement Type 201 is to have consumption entry with respect to cost center etc...
You are creating a reservation using 311 movement type and while posting the entry you are selecting the"Executable action in MIGO" is "A08-Transfer Posting" so system will always use the movement type used at the time of reservation only.Here you can not change.
And more over if you process entry with 201 movement type system creates accounting documents but with movement type 311 system will not create accounting documents.

Issue with Mvt type 311

Hi friends,
I have a issue with stock transfer from one storage location to another with transaction MB1B using movement type 311.
When ever we transfer stock for a material, it transfers from unrestricted to quality restricted stock. eg. if a trasfer from 0001 sloc to 0002 sloc, then it will transfer 0001 unrestricted to 0002 quality inspection.
Can plese some one tell me where these settings are maintained?

This is not the SAP Standard Practice,
While transfer of material from one storage location another stoarge location thorugh 311 movement type, the stock type should be same in both the storage locations.
you can directly transfer from Unrestricted 0001 storage location to 0002 Storage location (quality inspection), before that you should match both stock type , through respective movement type 321 or 322.
then you can transfer one storage location to another (stock type should be same)

Auomatic TO creation and confirmation from PCN with 321 MVT type

Dear Friends,
I am facing following WM issue, Kindly go through it and reply me with your valuable solution.
In my plant QM is active, so while receiving goods against any Purchase Order (MVT TYPE 101), all my stock goes to quality. After UD check, 99% material move to unrestrictd stock (321 mvt.type) and 1% used for quality (331 mvt. type).
For an example if I have received 1000 kg material (which initially goes to quality), after UD 995 kg material come to unrestricted stock and 5 kg used for quality check.
In my existing system for material document with mvt. type 321, one PCN is generated in the background, and using LT05 we make TO from PCN and confirm it.
But is it posible to create the TO and confirm from the PCN (Mvt. 321) in the backgroung itself, i mean to say that while my QM user is doing UD, material document with mvt 321, one PCN and TO will be generated and TO will be confirmd in the background itself.
I don't want to use LT05 separetely to make TO from PCN.
Please reply me soon.

You need to make the config settings here in ur system.
SPRO > Logistics execution > WM > Interfaces > Inventory Management > Activate Automatic TO Creation
Assign the relevent setting to movement types...

Hi,
Reversing Stock Postings Locate the document in its SAP Library structure
1. Choose Logistics ® Materials Management ® Inventory Management ® Goods Movement ® Goods receipt ® For purchase order ® PO number known.
The initial screen for creating a goods receipt for a purchase order appears.
2. In the field for the movement type, enter
3. 102 (goods receipt for a purchase order into warehouse - reversal). In the field for the purchase order, enter the purchase order number for the original goods receipt.
Note
You can copy the purchase order number from the inspection lot.
4. Choose Enter to display the selection screen for the purchase order items.
5. Select the purchase order item for which you want to create the goods receipt and set the Stock type indicator to the stock to which the goods were originally posted with the usage decision (for example, F for unrestricted-use stock or S for blocked stock).
6. Save the goods receipt and exit the Materials Management component.
7. Choose Logistics ® Quality management ® Quality inspection ® Inspection lot ® Usage decision ® Change with history.
The initial screen for changing a usage decision appears.
8. Enter the number of the inspection lot for which you previously made the usage decision and choose Usage decision (UD).
9. To cancel the inspection lot, choose Usage decision ® Functions ® Cancel lot in the usage decision screen.
Also check the SAP note : 175842 for Transfer of Unres stk to QI stock.
