Mb1c question.

Hi!
I use transaction mb1c with 501 movement.
After entering material i've got a message M7097.
The diagnosis says that i didnt manage material on a quantity basis.
How can i manage it?

To determine the attributes of the material types, proceed as follows:
1. Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:
Logistics General ® Material Master ® Basic Settings ® Material Types ® Define Attributes of Material Types.
The Change View Material Types: Overview screen appears.
2. Enter the necessary data.
3. Select a row with a material type and choose Goto ® Details.
The Change View Material Types: Details screen appears.
4. Enter the necessary data.
5. Choose Material Types ® Quantity/Value Updating in the dialog structure.
The Change View Quantity/Value Updating: Overview screen appears.
Select the Qty update and Value update for your palnts.
6. Enter the necessary data.
7. Save your entries.

In MB1C stock posting Error is POSTING PERIOD 006 2011 IS NOT OPEN .

In T Code OB52 , select Account Type M & S and mention the Current period.

Error in MB1C but works perfectly in MIGO for movement type 501.

I get an error in MB1C but works perfectly in MIGO for movement type 501
here is the error Account 353300 requires an assignment to a CO object.
I know for this if we add the co object in OKB9 it works.
But my question is - how it works in MIGO transaction but throws an error in MB1C
Any idea ? has any one faced this kind of an issue ? Please let me know.

Are the entires same in both the transactions? Means did you check 353300 GL was hit when you posted through MIGO?
Check in FS00 - for GL account 353300 - under bank/interest tab - double click on field status variant -> under Additional account assignments - CO object is ticked as mandatory?

Error when CRETING STOCK INITIAL UPLOAD USING MB1C

THE ERROR IS : The number range for document number assaignment has not been maintained in the year 2011 for the transaction event type WA.
we are getting this error while creating stock initial upload using t.code MB1C.
and another ERROR is : Number range for trans/event type WA in year 2011 does not exist.
please give me the solution to this error.

Hi Dear,
Use T . Code u2013 OMBT, then go to change interval , then go to edit > insert year (f6) and mention in year 9999 and choose the number range interval from number to number and mention in current number is 0 and save exit.

Inventory load using 561 movt type and auto confirm TO in MB1C using 561 movt type

Hello All,
I am doing the inventory load using 561 movt type in MB1C. Then the material is in 998 storage type and bin "AUFNAHME". my requirement is that i want to confirm the TO, when i do the MB1C itself for the 561 movt type. Is there a way in the SAP, where i can trigger the TO confirmation in the background automatically, when i use 561 movt type in MB1C.
Right now my thought processing is that as below,
i create the inventory load using 561 movt type in MB1C and use the LT10 and move the stock to a different bin and confirm the TO.
In the above step, i am using LT10 as a extra step for confirming the TO, which i am trying to decreasing my configuring in such as way for the movt type 561, so that it will automatically confirm the TO in the background, while doing the MB1C.
My 2nd question is, when i have 5000 different materials, which are inventory loaded using 561 movt type and MB1C. I am trying to auto confirm the TO in the background, when doing the MB1C for 561 movt type itself.Secondly, if it doesn't work, then i can goto LL01 and pick the unconfirmed TOs and mass confirm the TO's.
On the whole, my questions are is there any std config in SAP to auto confirm the TO for movt type 561 in MB1C. If it is not possible, then i need the best way to mass confirm the TO's in SAP.

Let me explain the process step by step
Assumption/mandatory criteria- The process is applicable only in case you do not have storage unit management active This process is warehouse transfer w/o WM transaction. This method is based on principle of MB1A- 711/712 movement type.
(1) Use OMJJ and create new movement type by coping 561 for ex- "Z61". In field selection (flield selection from 201) double click on WM and make the entry "WM storage bin and storage type as required entry from suppress.
(2) Now use MB1C with above customised movement type. At the end of this transaction,system will take you to the screen to make an entry in storage type and storage bin. Post the entry.
That's it. Your stock would be in warehouse as well as IM stock would be in sync. There is no TR/TO. You can create LSMW to upload the data by this method. If you have SUT defined then you can follow the same process as above. But after that do not forget to update LQUA-LETYP field with respective SUT. However, you can not use this method in case you have SU management active.
My view with this upload process- Please use other data uploading method which are not at all time consuming. In more than 90% of most of the business scenarios, storage unit type is used. Hence you will have to perform additional activity of updating LQUA-LETYP-storage unit type field. If this is the case, then why cant you use other uploading method?.

Screen Exit for MB1C transaction with program :SAPMM07M and screen 410

I am working on a requirement which is to enhance the Functionality of transaction, MB1C. In Mb1c item details screen I want to add some additional text line (about 7 to 8) for client Materials. The requirement is to add details of drawings which we have to enter at the time of GR. One item text field is available but that is not enough. As the drawing specs, spool no, ... etc., have to be entered. My question is there any screen exit for MB1c Transaction?. If not how to proceed?. Could someone answer my query. I am working on ECC 6.0.

ERRORS IS MATERIAL POSTING TO PLANT THROUGH T.code: MB1C

Hi ,
when I try to post material to plant through MB1C T.code i am getting two errors.
1) GL account 859000does not exist in chart of act INT
2) posting period 008 2011 is not open.
these are happening after select material and Qty in selection view screen i pressed enter key on that tine error no1 and another one happening when i select material and Qty in selection view screen i pressed enter key and click on save button.

Hi I encountered below question when doing mb1c for 561 movement, it is weird I am doing ok for a material which is exactly same valuation as the one with error message,I meant valuation class is same, also checked obyc ...so any other field in material master will occur that error?

Hi,
When you do GR with 561 movement type , it will update following accounts with transaction keys are:
Inventory of Materials (BSX): Dr
Initial Upload Materials (GBB-BSA): Dr
As you have error now, now check the G/L account 34210100 created as cost element or not u2026u2026u2026u2026u2026ie ...so asking cost object. Or just try to assign another G/L account in OBYC t.code for GBB-BSA combination and then do GR with 561 movement type

User Exit for batch classification for tcode mb1c

HI experts,
I have implement customer exit MBCFC004 EXIT_SAPMM07M_004 and CLFM0002 EXIT_SAPLCLFM_002 to set a value for
a customize characteristics.
Now I have a issue.
MBCFC004 EXIT_SAPMM07M_004 can work with migo but when I with mb1c to do same transaction it didn't
work.
CLFM0002 EXIT_SAPLCLFM_002 only work when I input a value in the customize characteristics it can change the input value.
I have set extension in OMCV for my move type. and assigned the bath to material.

Class ZBATCH has status 1 (= 'Released') but the customizing of classtype 023 doesn't allow to classify with classes of this status. Settingsfor class status in class type 023 are different from what SAP delivers.Correct please these settings. You may lookup the correct definition of
the class status in class type 022.

How to Copy MB1C to ZProgram

Dear experts in order to copy MB1C to ZMB1C. I used the following process.At the end i found that
i could not compile the program in 100.
1. Run MB1C .Noted sap program name on system-staus as SAPMM07M
2. Goto se38.Copied this to ZSAPMM07M .Check all includes and converted names to Zobjects
Included all other attributes while copying.
3. Then i opened ZSAPMM07M on SE38.Saved and compiled.But i got an error and could not activate.
4.Then i created tcode but got only screen 400 that i assigned in non functional state.
Plz advise.

Is SAPMM07M is a report or Function Group (MM07)? open the object in SE80 and then try to copy from there only.

Why MKPF-Doc Type showing as Goods Issue, when I did GR via MB1C tx , ?

Via MB1C tx, am posting the Goods Receipt (with out PO type) & MBLNR_1 is creating in MKPF.
But, when I saw the Doc type in MKPF for this MBLNR_1, it showing the doc type as Goods Issue type???
pls. clarify me, Why SAP showing it as Goods Issue?
pls. let me clarify scenario? How SAP processing them?

Since the default document type is maintained in the IMG is WA which is for goods issue . it will reflect as goods issue only.
if u dont want this to happen then Go to the tcode OMBA and select good receipt document type ,
Against the toced MB1C,change the documet type as "WE"which is goods receipts.

I'm fairly new to Oracle Quoting and trying to get familiar with it. I have a few questions and would appreciate if anyone answers them
1) We have a requirement to customize the Print Quote report. I searched these forums and found that this report can be defined either as a XML Publisher report or an Oracle Reports report depending on a profile option. Can you please let me know what the name of the profile option is?
2) When I select the 'Print Quote' option from the Actions drop down in the quoting page and click Submit I get the report printed and see the following URL in my browser.

No, there is no conc program getting called, you can directly call a report in a browser window, Oracle reports server will execute the report and send the HTTP response to the browser.4) If we want to customize the jsp pages can you please let me know the steps involved in making the customizations and testing them.

Satellite P300D-10v - Question about warranty

HI EVERYBODY
I have these overheating problems with my laptop Satellite P300D-10v.
I did everything I could do to fix it without any success..
I get the latest update of the bios from Toshiba. I cleaned my lap with compressed air first and then disassembled it all and cleaned it better.(it was really clean insight though...)
BUT unfortunately the problem still exists...
So i made a research on the internet and I found out that most of Toshiba owners have the same exactly problem with their laptop.
Well i guess this is a Toshiba bug for many years now.
Its a really nice lap, cool sound (the best in laptop ever) BUT......
So I wanted to make a question. As i am still under warranty, can i return this laptop and get my money back or change it with a different one????
If any body knows PLS let me know.

Regarding the warranty question;
If there is something wrong with the hardware then the ASP in your country should be able to help you.
The warranty should cover every reparation or replacement.
But I read that you have disasembled the laptop at your own hand... hmmm if you have disasembled the notebook then your warrany is not valid anymore :(
I think this should be clear for you that you can lose the warrany if you disasemble the laptop!
By the way: you have to speak with the notebook dealer where you have purchased this notebook if you want to return the notebook
The Toshiba ASP can repair and fix the notebook but you will not get money from ASP.

Hi all, i have a survey that im working on that will be sent via email.
I'm having an issue though. if i have a multiple choice question, and the user only selects one of the choices, all the unselected choices return as NULL. is there a way i can filter out anytihng that says "NULL" so it only shows the selected options?

i was messing around and came up with this. it doesnt remove the null, but if it is null it adds ABC beside it. so i think i might be getting close. i just need to figure out how to replace the null.
