Hi All
my MM staff would like to see more columns such as Account Assignment (G/L account & cost center) after double click the material no in above report. She wanted to know daily GI documents entered to the system to review the G/L account and cost center she entered. She is new and key in wrongly these 2 items most of time.

Hi,
You can also use the FI standard T.Code FAGLL03 for GL line item display for the material GL's, wherein the details of the Cost Center, Order Number can be outputted.
W.r.t. Material field, to be obtained in this report, you need to add the material field by adding the same in SPRO (its a one time requirement) by following the path Financial Accounting Global settings (new)->General Ledger Accounting->GL Accounts->Line Items->Define Special Fields for line item display.
You can select the table as BSEG and Field Name as MATNR. After saving, in the line item report, you can display the material code aswell along with cost center, orde number and profit center.

When I enter Material no, plant code , Movement type (101) and selection

It clearly says that material group can't be changed in case you will use material master in purchase order.
So, it is clear that you can't use different material group for material master in purchase order.
For stock report, system will only show you the material group which is assigned to the material master (MARA-MATKL). System will not look into the purchase order section (like EKPO). -

What about MB51, isn't it good for that purpose? Of course, if you want to see the opening and closing stock levels too, it doesn't fulfil your requirement.
In this case you have to develop your own report.

Can a stock report for any Past date with respect to qty and value be developed which gives the split of unrestricted, Quality and Blocked stock.
MB5B gives stock report on any past date which is the total of all the stocks but not the split.

Dear friends,
I want to call transaction MB5b from my report passing (matnr, plant and selection date-sy-datum ) values from internal table (11500 records) and fetch the quantity field that gets displayed after executing. How to do that. can anyone write the code for that. Because writing full program for determining stock-on-hand seems meaningless as we can get that value from MB5b. Can we trap that parameter in the standard program RM07mlbd and import that parameter to the program. Any suggestions.

I think ,there is no such report ,you have to use report MB52 and MB5B
If possible try this
1) Get your material for material group in MB52 ,copy this into excel sheet
2) now go into MB5B,give Date which you want ,click on arrow near material field ( before that copy you material from excel sheet)
3) and click on copy clipboard icon there,all material will get copy there and execute you will get desire result
Or try reverse also frist MB5B and then MB52

MB51 and MB5B are best reports with opening and closing stocks and movements. If this not suits your requirements you will develop a Z report with help of ABAPer giving detailed requirements.
These below are the some basic tables for consumption:
MBEWH - Stock with period and year
MBEW - Stock wtih current period and year
MSEG - Material Movement data details
MKPF - Material Movement data

Stock Overview (MMBE) Report in BW
Dear All,
We got a scenario where :
> The Key figure values like " Unrestricted Qty"," Quality Inspection ","Blocked Stock" shows different values in R3 when compared with BW.
------> When we boiled down,came to know that the extractor (2lis_03_bf) is not picking all Batches ,as compared with R3.Hence the Keyfigure values are less and different from R3.
It would be helpful if someone could take time to help us out on how this issue can be solved.Have checked the stock against MB5B and other reports aswell and the stock qt's are fine.but just that it shows different against MMBE in R3.

Weather u are drilling the report to the storage location wise.
if yes the data will never match as in Inventory side for some movment type accounting documents will not generate.
For Inventory level reporting i suggest u check the UPdate rule as per ur Indusry as they only are responsible for Data in BI.

RM07MLBD_CUST_FIELDS is already having LSMNG fields which needs to be uncommented.Fyi,documentation of this include is as follows

* If you want to insert some of these fields in the list of the
* hidden fields delete the '*' in the type definition.

My client requirement is they need a report the format should be

is it possible to get it in Standard SAP..hi,
either you can take the report from MB5B as std. report. Or you can take the Op. & Cl. Balance from MB5B and for Purchase and issue use MB51.
Alternatively try with S_P00_07000139 - -> Stock card and IMAT Report

Hi Experts.
I want to know how to calculate Opening & closing Balances of stock Like MB5B transaction using reports.
I am giving Material N0, Posting date,Plant as Input
& want to extract Material Document Number, Quantity, Issues & receipts seperately, Opening & Closing Balance of Stock.Also it should be performed day wise.
This report should be a normal report without using ALV's.
Can Some Body Help me. Also let me know which tables & fields are being used.

There are various t. code to check line items for vendor like: S_ALR_87012103 but Any table is not helping to check opening/closeing balance for vendor.
Table BSIK and BSAK are having are records for open items and close items for vendor and system calculate the balance by using these tables.

We are getting some difference between MB5B and MB51 Reports.
MB5B:
(1) Closing stock of Semifinished & Finished Goods as on 30 Nov 2008
is 9112.420 MT (Metric Tonne)
MB51:
(2) Production during the month of december 2008 is 8324.612 MT
(3) Despatch During the month of December 2008 is 10009.500 MT
(4) Closing Stock=(1) + (2) -(3)
=9112.420 + 8324.612 - 10009.500
=7427.532
(5) However now if we check the Closing stock as on 31.12.2008 for the
Semifinished & Finished in MB5B is 7605.960 MT
We are getting a difference of = (5) - (4)
= 7605.960 - 7427.532
=178.478 MT
Please suggest for analysing Production which mov type has to be considered
And for Despatch which mov type has to be considered

Stock transfer from Plnt to Plant : 641
Return stock transfer movt : 642.
Now use the above movt tyoes and compare between teh reports.
