MB5B report output

Hi all,
Can any one please let me know the output of the report MB5B. As the Key user can see both the stock qty and value, we are only able to see the stock qty. Whwther we can change the layout or any setting, so as to obtain the value also.

Please check whether you missed the settings Under, List Scope Category, Material with movements & Material without movements.
Run with Stock type as "Valuated Stock" , settings " Totals Only- Non-hierarchial Representation.
You will get the output

Hi,
We need to create a new report which will be a combination of MB5B and MB52.
In the sense, the new report should be able to give the stock on a particular posting date split into the different stock types like unrestricted, restricted, QI, blocked etc.
Please let m eknow if this is possible.

material history may be available at the most for periods. you may have to transfer the data to a ztable from Mard on daily basis, may be as a job run in the night and can have a logic to fetch it from the ztable

Issue Regarding MB5B report

Hi......
When i am running standard report MB5B to calculatte opening stock and closing stock on the output screen i am getting one table with no data selected and the below screen shot of that MB5B report is attached in this discussion please go through and revert back.
As i am fresher there is a requirement to develop RFC to calculatte opening stock and closing stock please help me for which tables i have to refer.
The input should be only plant and from and to date.......Please help me....

Hi,
In MB5B report, on selection screen select the CATEGORY and tick all the relevant check boxes,
then under settings select
"Totals Only-Non-Hierarchical presentation layout"
Then execute the report.
you are getting blank screen in your screen shot because, there is no mvt in the materical code, neither issue qty nor receipt qty thats why you are not getting data.
Only opening n closing stock is available.
Just do as suggested, hope your issue will resolved.

MB5B report missing custom fields in background execution

Hi,
I have added few fields in MB5B transaction, when I run transaction in foreground the new fields I am getting in the report output but when I run report in foreground I am not getting custom fields in the spool.
Please let me know why I am not getting custom fields, any advice.

In MB5B Report (RM07MLBD) what is the name of the final internal table which stores all the data and dispays the output.My Reqiurement is to downlaod the data to presentation server.If i know the internal table i can download it using FM GUI_DOWNLOAD.

Difference in mb51 & mb5b reports

dear all,
please when i run mb51 & mb5b reports up to the current date, i get differences in stocks, mb51 value is higher than mb5b . what are the possible reasons for this? is there a way of configuring mb5b to pick all movement types for all batch numbers?if yes how do i go about it? When comparison is done for a particular batch, i notice mb5b does not pick up some movement types such as 601(sales delivery) & 655(sales retuns) but these movement types appear in mb51, pls what do I do?

MB5B and MB51 is different report in material document list.

This report similary you can use it as MMBE stock report but only difference is here also display the material document number , total stocks and issue.
MB51 is used to display the Material document list based on the material and plant
Not possible to view by material vise total receipt stock and issue calculation .
this is only displayed material document number with respect to input parameter like material and plant.
Material number vise sort out is not possible like total receipt and total issue calculations

MB5B Report table for Open and Closing stock on date wise

Hi Frds,
I am trying get values of Open and Closing stock on date wise form the Table MARD and MBEW -Material Valuation but it does not match with MB5B reports,
Could anyone suggest correct table to fetch the values Open and Closing stock on date wise for MB5B reports.

Discoverer report - Output from Discoverer plus is not the same as Discoverer desktop

As a part of Upgrade project we are migrating the discoverer reports from 11i (11.5.10.2) to R12 (12.1.3) .After migrating to R12, for a custom discoverer report the output given by discoverer desktop is correct (24 rows for a scenario). But the report output from Discoverer plus does not show the credit transactions (2 rows). The output from Discoverer plus shows only 22 rows (24 - 2), which is incorrect. The query is the same in Discoverer desktop and Discoverer plus.
Please let me know why these transactions that are appearing when the report is run from discoverer desktop are not appearing in discoverer plus. Is there any setup in discoverer plus for this?

Pretty hard to answer a question like this. Best bet would be to copy the existing discoverer plus book and start removing conditions, fields, etc until those two rows from desktop show up and see if you can work it out.

Change order of key figure is not working in Web report output (using WAD)

Hi,
We are using BI 7.0, release 701 and level 008. We are facing problem in WAD (web report output). When ever we do 'Select filter' for key figures and 'change the order' of key figures, it does not get reflected in new order. Though drag and drop of key figures is working.
Though same change order is working fine in Bex Analyser.
Kindly suggest some inputs.

MB5B Report for Date Wise Stock and Value

Hi,
I am Taking MB5B Report for Date Wise Stock and Value.
But I have one doubt all stocks is coming or not in these report like Unrestrected Stock,Return Stock.Blocked stock,Transist stock,Restrected Stock,qty Inspection Stock.
I have another Doubt in these report three Stock type indicaters are there like these.
1.Storage Location / Batch Stock
2.valuated Stock
3.Special Stock.
But i have one doubt what is defferent these

Yes MB5B report consider the Unrestricted, Quality, Blocked, Transit stock and restricted stock. Not sure about Return Stock.
If you select the Storage location/Batch stock radio button then the system will display all the possible stock from the storage location and the corresponding batch also.
If you select Valuated stock radio button then system will show only the valuated stock not the Non-valuated stock. Because Non-valuated material type is available in SAP system will not show those stock suppose if you select the Valuated stock radio button.

MB5B report

Hi all,
in MB5B report (article stock) showing field like this: Site, Article, Posting Date, Opening Stock, Total Receipt Qties, Total Issue Quantities, Closing Stock. Now when we click on particular row its showing materail (article) wise report and field showing Storage Location, Movement Type, Special Stock, Article Document, Item, Posting Date, Quantity, Base Unit of Measure.
Now i want to create one another report ZMB5B and this all above field its showing in one report not different. So is it possible as a function and technical wise.

How To Restrict Number Of Rows For Multiple Group In Report Output

I have a requirement to restrict number of rows in report output.I have three different group , if i use same no of rows to restrict then output is as expected but if i want Deduction group should have 7 rows , earning should have 5 rows and Tax group have 3 rows in report output then XML tag is not working.

variable lpp2 is declare to restrict EarTaxLines -
<xsl:variable name="lpp2" select="number(2)"/>
This will help to restrict the no of rows on one page , if we have more then two tax benefits line then layout will roll over to continuation page.
As part of report output my expectation is if i restrict Earning , Deduction and Tax benefits to same no of line for example - variable lpp ,lpp1 and lpp2 have same value "number(2)" , we can see the layout is continue on next page (restrict every group can have max two lines) .This is the reason we have 4 header grid , deduction and Tax Benefit lines are rolled over to continuation page .But if we restrict different value for each variable then continuation page layout is missing .
When we tried for <xsl:variable name="lpp2" select="number(3)"/> value continuation page layout is not getting generate for both employee number .

Intermittent Blank Rows coming in BI Publisher Report output

Hi,
We are working on a BI Publisher report output.
Issue
The report sometimes creates a blank row along with the headings of the report columns. Table has multiple records and between 2 records we have a data being displayed which is optional. When this record is null, it is creating an extra space and hence creating a new page with the headers and a blank row.
Reducing the space is one issue we have thought of. Are there any other pointers to this.

Hi,
I did not got the complete thing but as you told you need to remove the blank space in the report and at the same you told when a column returns null the row get displayed as blank row.
Then can you try using the Conditional region so that when ever you find the column value as null so you can hide that row.
Just try it i donot no if your requirement is exactly like this or what.

ABAP Dump while Changing the Layout fields in Report output - RCOPCA02

Hi,
I Copied the Standard Program RCOPCA02 to ZRCOPCA02. I added two new fields(AUART, AUGRU) in the report output. It is executing correctly with default layout, While Changing the layout for displaying new fields it is dumping.
