MB5K Stock consistency report - error materials but no error code comment

Hi,
I have ran this for the first time and against some valuation areas we have many materials on this list. From reading the information on this I thought it was going to show me an error comment or incorrect tables however this row is blank under each material on the report.
I ran this in background as we have 24hr production and I was afraid of locking the materials for too long during the day - does it need to be ran online. However saying this I did run it for 1 material online and I still dont see any comment or incorrect table listed.
Can anyone advise what I should be doing. Thanks and Happy Xmas

You use the stock consistency check report (MB5K transaction- Program RM07KO01) to check the consistency of your stock data at company code level, valuation area level, or material level. This allows the system to determine possible errors in your stocks in good time, before they cause greater problems.
If the report determines that there is stock data containing errors, it issues a list with the following information for each material:
Associated valuation area, Total stock quantity (actual quantity), Total of all stocks from the subordinate stock segments, Base unit of measure, Stock value in local currency, Material price with details of the price control, Price unit, Comments on the material and details of incorrect tables.
To see the Comments on the material and details of incorrect tables; select a material and go to the detail screen by choosing Edit -> Choose or by pressing "F2". Then, the comment pertaining to the material if any, can be seen in the detail screen.
Examples of possible error messages are:
   011 Calculation number missing
   045 Incorrect price
   060 Negative stock not allowed
   063 Material ledger record does not exist for current period
   066 Material ledger currency record does not exist for current period
   500 Actual quantity not equal to total of stocks
   501 Actual quantity not equal to total of valuation segments
If a material has errors, contact the SAP hotline/ your concerned authority immediately and quote the error number.

Dear Experts,
I am trying to remove MB5K stock consistency error in my PRD system.
MB5K showing error on the Material 40SVRADSF-1000LOCK.
500 Actual qty not equal to total of stocks.
There is material document posted in 13.12.2011 for 301 movement type.
Material has been moved from plant - 4999 to plant - 4101. Document showing correctly posted.
But material is not received in plant - 4101.

Hi,
You can check stock in MMBE where you will see separate storage Location for e.g. Unrestricted use stock, GR Block Stock etc. on the basis of that you can see actually at which location it moved. You can see also in MB51 with movement type, article document wise. once try then let me know.

Are you following these instructions?
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

MB5K - Stock consistency check

Hi,
Can someone help me understand the stock consistency check done through MB5K. When I run MB5K, I get the result "No materials with error found". But I dont understand what this means. Also, under what situations can we expect to get materials with errors, when this transaction is run.

this reads data from MBEW table & it will list materials if there is no consistency, if you have blocked any materials etc. . .
block a material & run this report it will list that material, select material click on details you will find all details pertaining to that material.

Code in before report getting executed but "Job error is: BIP job failed."

Customer is executing a BIP job that fires a pl/sql procedure via before report trigger. Procedure is completing successfully. But the BIP report is not getting generated. ESS process ends in error with the following error:

WAD error: done , but with errors on page!

hi Ravi,
try to click the error message, see if it will pop up more detail message.
as mentioned, seems you use some javascript in your web template,
see the detail message and check your javascript code,
it can be object not define etc, please note that it's case sensitive,
so e.g if you use object/variable or call function, check it's exactly same.

Email button error works but gives Error message "10"

I have "attach to email" buttons on my forms. I leave the email address blank for the person to fill in themselves. It works fine but on one form (and one form only) when clicking on the button an error message window comes up - with exclamation mark and the number "10", that's it. The button works (attached the file to an email) but still gives the message. My other forms don't give this message though the buttons appear identical.
What could be causing this?

Remove the "mailto:" from the Submit tab if you have the script code written in the event.
But usually if you have "mailto:" in the submit tab and while you are preview mode, it will open two email windows. A new email with the subject as "Form Returned"..(This new email error will work only if Acrobat Pro is used by the Designer while previewing the form. If the Designer uses Acrobat Reader while previewing it does not even show any error and simply quits. You can check which one is used while previewing by going to your Windows -> Task Manager and see which EXE is running. For Acrobat Acrobat.EXE and for Reader it will be AcroRd32.EXE).
Try removing the mailto: from the Submit tab and if you still have issues, may be you can send the file to [email protected] , I can have a look at it..

Error 1097, but unfamiliar with code and programming

USB device (Hantek DSO-2090 USB Oscilloscope) came with .dll and sample Labview file. It wasn't working until I applied a path constant to each Call Library Function Node, yet the largest one always seems to yield Error 1097. Not sure why, but I'll include everything. Please help!

Actually wrong calling conventions quite often crash instead of causing error 1097. Error 1097 can have lots of causes but one of the most common is that the programmer has not preallocated array or string buffers used as output data before calling the C function. Most LabVIEW programmers are so used to LabVIEW handling array and string resizing automatically, that they don't even think about that this could be different when dealing with the Call Library Node. But here the external C code has normally no way of resizing such arrays to whatever size it needs and LabVIEW has no way of knowing what size the C function requires for the buffer. So there needs to be the programmer who deduces that information from function documentation, intuition, experience and sometimes simple trial, error and crash exercises to make this explicitedly.
I took a quick look at the VI in the OP and I was truely appaled by it's lack of structure and architecture. This is not a LabVIEW example to show off for sure. Nevertheless, based on the claim of the OP that the LARGEST node causes the error, (talk about clearness in communication caused by such a spaghetti diagram) I assumed he meant the dsoGetChannelData() CLN and that indeed has two array inputs that are meant to be filled by the function. They are connected to two hidden array controls containing 30000 elements of default data each, so as long as the function does not try to return more than 30000 samples for each of the two channels, this should not be the problem. But I'm not sure if this oscilloscope will ALWAYS return exactly 30000 values for each channel, or if this number can be adjusted somehow. It's however the only thing I can say based on the claim that the largest node causes the error. And digging into this deeper requires the DLL documentation and lots of time, which I don't plan to invest in such a poor piece of software.
The reason that he needed to define the path to each node is that the DLL clearly is not located in a standard nor fixed location. Windows will never search any directory in the Program Files directory for DLLs, unless that directory happens to be listed in the PATH environment variable. And the Program Files directory path can change based on Windows bitness, system administrator configurations and more. In order for LabVIEW to find the DLL on any system, the DLL has either to be:
1) in the same directory as the VI or project file
2) in the executable directory (where labview.exe is or yourapp.exe for a built application)
3) in the $(System) directory
4) in the $(Windows) directory
5) in a directory that is listed in the PATH environment variable
But moving around DLLs without knowing what you are doing can make the DLL unloadable as it may be missing dependencies that way.

Doubt in stock's report

Hi Experts,
I have to create one report on 'Stock as on date'.
we have table mard and mardh , but they give data only for year and month.
How can we get stco for as on given date.

Try the following settings in MC.9 (It may not work, I only have one business area and so cannot check it out fully, but it is well worth a try)
On the selection screen click on the user settings,
Press enter to continue for your userid,
Click on the "choose characteristics" box at the bottom of the list.
Select all of the entries on the left and click on the double arrow that is pointing to the right (to clear the list on the left).
Then click on the business area in the left list and click on the single left arrow.
then do the same for the material.
Press enter to continue
click on save.
then exit with the green arrow and run the report
You should then see the business areas listed and double clicking on any one of these will show you a list of the materials under that business area.
The business area is assigned to the combination of Plant and division and so the division from the material master record will dictate the business area that is used.
SAP have said in the past that they will no longer support the use of Business area functionality but I don't know if this is world wide, because I have certainly seen a few posts on this subject, especially from India etc. Does th business area have a more useful function in India? In the UK it generally does not get used as a major part of the org structure.

Stock variance report Crashes with error code REP-56048

Problem Statement : When the user is trying to generate report for Stock variance report from Oracle Retail Merchandising System the report crashes with error code REP-56048.
The steps to reproduce are specific to Oracle Retail Merchandising system application and hence I have not mentioned here.
The REP-56048 error seems to be generic. Could you please advise me on this issue.

Hi Leo22,
Does this error occur if you use any of the example programs that come shipped with LabVIEW? I would try opening one of the examples that write data to Word and see if those give you an error. Also, have you tried just putting down a New Report.VI and change the report type to Word? If this simple vi (that's all you need to open Word) breaks, I would check to see if there are any instances of Word still open. Check the task manager to see if any word processes are still open. There should not be a problem accessing Word 2003 from LabVIEW 7.0. If neither of these solutions work, please give some more detail about your application and we can research further. Thanks!

When I check my boot SSD drive using Disk Utility under Mavericks, I often get "Incorrect number of extended attributes" errors. But if I boot off an external drive and check the same SSD, no errors are reported. Is this a bug in Mavericks?

This happens not just with the SSD in my Mac Mini, but with another SSD in my MacBook (both now running Mavericks). So far as I know, all of the kit I am using is in good order (despite the file corruption reports). So I am beginning to wonder if it could be due to a bug in Mavericks? Both SSD drives have been formatted to MacOS Extended (journaled) format. Should I have used a different format, I wonder?
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Does anyone have a solution?
Or an explanation that might help my investigation of the issue?

I understand that the Corsair Force 3 is not one of the SSD drives that are supported on Apple Macs.
I did try downloading and using Trim Enabler, but the error message came up both when it was off and when it was on.
I understand that not everyone thinks Trim Enabler is a good program, though there is a new version out now, so I may give it another try.

Stock Statement Report

Hi,
I am trying to get a report with the following columns:
Material
Opening Balance
Total Receipt
Total Issue
Closing Balance.
Using MB5B, I am able to get the data.
But we have come confusion over the data. For example, we do a MIGO (Mov Type 101) of a Material, say 100 Pcs. Here the RECEIPT is 100 in MB5B. But we come to know that the MIGO was done for the wrong Material, and it was an error from the Operator. We then do the REVERSAL of the MIGO (Mov Type 102).
Here at this stage, in MB5B shows:
Opening Balance - 0
Total Receipt - 100
Total Issue - 100
Closing Balance - 0.
Stock has become ZERO. But physically we have not received any Material, hence the MB5B should not shown either RECEIPT or ISSUE.
Is there any other option to handle the situation.
Mov Type 261 is reflected in ISSUE where as Mov Type 262 is reflected as RECEIPT in MB5B.
What exactly REVERSAL means is SAP?
Can we customize MB5B?

I am sorry if I am putting a wrong question with u.
My scenario is something like this:
I do MIGO (Mov Type 101) for a Material, say 100 PCS dt. 01.01.2007
On 01.01.2007, MB5B shows the following data:
Opening Balance: 0
Receipt: 100
Issue: 0
Closing Balance: 100
On dt 02.01.2007, we come to know that the MIGO is done for wrong Material, and hence we have to reverse the MIGO document.
After reversing the MIGO (Mov Type 102), MB5B shows the following data:
Opening Balance: 0
Receipt: 100
Issue: 100
Closing Balance: 0
When we talk of the Stock, it is ZERO now.
When we see the MB5B for the above Material, we can conclude that we have received 100 PCS, and the 100 PCS has been issued, and the Stock is NIL.
But in real scenario, the Materials was neither physically received nor issued. It was the error from the Data Entry Operator.
We are a EXPORT house, and we have to submit the above report to the Goverment Official for some processing.
How to handle this situation in SAP.

Stock Audit Report vs Balance Sheet

I am having problems matching the balance sheet to our stock. I presume that the stock audit report is the best report for evaluating our stock but this does not match our balance sheet.
The balance sheet stock looks at 3 accounts, Finished Product, Work in Progress and Raw Materials. I set the audit report to only look at these accounts and to read all groups. I also ticked 'display OB for items/accounts with no transactions'.
This still does not match. The only thing I can surmise is that something has gone wrong or someone has posted something in these accounts to throw it out of balance but if so then I do not know how to find the problem as this could be going back years.
Is there a better stock report / query to use or is there some sort of query that can flag up any obvious errors?
