MBAM 1.0 will not unistall (keeps rolling back)

Hello,
I am trying to update MBAM 1.0  to 2.0 but i am unable to uninstall. It will go though the motions of uninstalling but then it rolls back without any errors. Does anyone have any thoughts on how i can fix this issue without losing any data? I am running
Windows 2008 R2
Brian Gallagher

Check the issue in the log file created in the temp folder.
You should un-install MBAM 1.0 by running the MBAM 1.0 installer. Make sure each and every components of MBAM 1.0 remains intact and go in a sequenced manner. Only un-install the MBAM Administration Server.

  • Acrobat Pro 10 will not install keeps rolling back

I am attempting to install Adobe Acrobat X on a Windows 7 64 Bit machine, it will not install, gets all the way to the end and then just starts rolling back says the installation was interrupted and that no changes were made to the system.
I ran the msi from the command line with verbose logging on to see if I could figure out where it fails but couldn't find the error (towards the end it lists many errors but it seems to just be a list of possible errors, not sure but I definately have admin right and ran the msi as an admin so at least those two don't make sense).
I don't understand why its not installing but I'm really ticked its not at least telling me why its not installing. I had adobe reader and flash on the computer and I was afraid they might be newer versions than just straight Pro X so I uninstalled everything adobe on the computer and it still won't install the Pro X.
Can someone take a look at my log file and see if they can tell what I'm doing wrong? It would be very appreciated.
    Thanks, SW.

One thought. Have you tried downloading the updates (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows) and installing directly, rather than doing updates through the help menu?

  • TS2518 updated to Aperture 3.4, but program will not open, keeps telling me it needs to restore windows?

I just updated to OS X 10.7.5 and Aperture 3.4, but program will not open, keeps telling me I to restore windows

Quit Aperture, if it is running/ hanging.
Remove the file com.apple.Aperture.plist from the folder
Your home folder  > Library > Preferences
The User Library is hidden by default. You can reveal it from the Finder's "GO" menu:
Finder > Go,   then hold down the options ⌥ key, until the Library appears in the drop-down menu, select it and open the Library folder. Then go to the "Preferences" sub folder and remove the file
    your Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist.
After removing the user preferences file, you will have to reset the Preferences, you selected in Aperture's preferences panel.

  • Itunes will not unistall??

Itunes will not unistall it says i must contact my itunes support group and then i dont know what to do?

Uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes shoulddn't touch your content or playlists.
That being said, It's still always a good idea to maintain a current backup in case of disasters (of any sort).

    Hi seniorgolfer1946,
You can download Photoshop Elements 12 from : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=en
Try using a different browser and check.

  • I want to install version 6, but my windows 7 will not unistall version 3.6. Thus the setup trips out. What can I do?

The control panel will not unistall version 3.6.12. After downloading version 6.0, and running setup, I have a dialogue box that says I must reboot computer to complete previous uninstalling of firefox. After doing this about 5 times, I still get the same message. Is there are way of bypassing this requirement so that I can install version 6.0?
or how do I delete all 3.6 registry files and not lose my passwords and history of firefox?

    Thanks feer56
I will try this, but I didnot get to that stage of asking to install to another folder. The wizard asks to reboot before it goes through these sub routines.

    Here is the answer.
    From: http://osdir.com/ml/x11-users/2010-11/msg00012.html
“2) When you installed X11 off the DVD, you downgraded your X11. Make sure now
go download the 10.6.5 COMBO Update and install it to get an updated X11”.

After restoring my iphone 4 to factory settings, then restoring from a recent backup, my phone will reboot but keeps coming back to the "new setup or restore from backup screen". How can I by-pass this screen to go directly to the sync apps/music screen?

Well, it's certainly behaving as though the phone that was backed up was synced to a different iTunes library.
I'm going to throw one more thing out there... Yes, you backed it up to this computer... Was the phone previously set up to sync with this computer? Or was it syncing with a different computer and you just backed it up to this one?
You may have to end up setting it up as a new device and rebuilding the phone by manually re-syncing your data, apps, music, etc. to the phone.
Trying to keep your library on a different drive can be tricky. If iTunes starts up and the library isn't available, it may end up generating a new library ID, meaning that you could easily find yourself in exactly the position you're in now...
I'm curious why there was a need to restore your phone to begin with... It may not have any bearing on this at all, but it could.

  • TM will not allow me to back up

    Hello
TM will not allow me to back up. I keep getting this error message coming up "The backup volume could not be found"
I have followed the advice given on the support pages. i.e.
    1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
    2. From the Viewmenu, choose Time Machine, or click Time Machine in the Dock.
    3. Click "Choose Backup Disk...".
    4. Select your backup location again.
    This has made no difference!
I have tried two portable HDD (Western Digital 120GB & 150GB). TM will not work on either.
I have followed the advice on changing the partition type and erasing the disk, to start a fresh, again following the advice on the support pages: i.e.
    1. Open Disk Utility.
    2. Click the Partitions tab.
    3. From the Volume Scheme pop-up menu, choose the desired number of partitions.
    4. Click the Options button.
    5. Select a new partition scheme:
Use "GUID" partition scheme if the disk will be used with Time Machine and a Intel-based Mac.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Click Apply.
However I still get the error message, "The backup volume could not be found", when I try to back up.
    Help, any ideas.
    Thanks

    Dhamma,
    Try this,
Go to System Preferences --> Time Machine.
    Click "Change Disk..." button.
Select "None" and click "Stop Backing Up".
Now click "Choose Backup Disk" and reselect your drive again.
Close System Preferences and try backing-up again.
If this does not work, then the following KB article may apply in your case: (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1170)
“When using your Time Capsule for Time Machine backups in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or later, the Time Capsule backup volume may not mount and Time Machine may not be able to back up to it. This alert may appear:
    "Backup volume cannot be found"
This can happen if the Time Capsule disk has a long name.
Rename the backup volume via AirPort Utility:
    Open AirPort Utility (in /Applications/Utilities).
    Click your Time Capsule's icon.
    Click "Manual Setup".
Enter the password for the Time Capsule if prompted.
    Click the Disks icon.
Highlight the volume name that appears under "Time Capsule Disk".
In the Name field, enter a name for the volume that is less than 27 characters long.
    Click Update.
After Time Capsule restarts, on the Mac(s)using Time Machine, open Time Machine preferences and reselect the Time Capsule volume.”
Let us know if either of these suggestions help.

  • My ipad will not workit trying to back up from icloud and wil not let into settings

help my ipad will not work keeps trying to up date icloud and will not let me log in

I think I understand what you mean so try this and see if it lets you get back into your settings.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Cancelled print but will not cancel and comes back on to print same job

cancelled print but will not cancel and comes back on to print same job on on hp deskjet all in one

    Hi,
From the Control Panel, open Administrative Tools and select Sevices.  Browse down to the print spooler service, right click it and select Properties then click on the Stop button.  Now browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and delete the job inside this folder - You may need to click a prompt to gain the appropriate authority to open the PRINTERS folder.
Restart the computer and you should find the job has been removed.

  • Photoshop Elements 10 will not allow me to back up the entire catalog.

Photoshop 10 will not allow me to back up the entire catalog.  During its initial set up, when it runs the space needed, it stops at 18% and will not go beyond that
Here is what I am doing.  In Elments Orgainizer, I am going to FILE, then selecting Back Up Catalgo to CD,DVD or Hard Drive, then I select- Full Back Up, then it goes to Calculate Total Media Space and that is where is stops at 18%

    Thanks for the response
My OS is Win 7 Home Prem
The catalog is over 60GB and over 31,000 images
There are only a few videos in the catalog
I am backing up to a hard drive that is a 2TB drive
I can not even get to select the drive, as the system stops as it calculates the amount of space needed.

Download them to iTunes abd then sync the apps. Make an appointment with Apple and see what the problem is.
