Mbean Error While Creating Resource Adapter

Hi,
During the post installation configuration of Oracle Identity Manager, I had to create Resource Adapter as mentioned in the steps below. In the final step, when I click OK, I’m getting an error message “An error has occurred. MBean not found” (I had created a new oc4j container called oc4j_oim under which this is being done). Complete error message displayed is pasted at the end fyi. Kindly suggest a workaround for this issue.
Steps followed:
Create the required Resource Adapter in Oracle Application Server as follows:
a) Log on to the Application Server Control.
b) From the View By list, select Application Servers.
c) Click the server instance.
d) On the page that is displayed, click Administration.
e) Click Enterprise Messaging, and then click Database Persistence. The JMS connectors for
the Oracle Application Server instance that are currently configured for use with database
persistence JMS providers are listed.
f) Click Deploy.
g) In the Resource Adapter Module Name field, enter oimOJMSRA
h) Select Add a new resource provider to be used by this connector.
i) In the Resource Provider Name field, enter oimOJMSRP
j) From the Datasource JNDI Location list, select jdbc/xlXADS.
k) Click OK.

Hi Veera,
Actually you are getting a warning message where one of two things could have happened. Either you specified an incorrect zone name or one of the zones has not been fully booted. It's likely that you haven't booted the zones, so please follow this:
zoneadm list -iv
If zone1 or zone2 are not running then boot and configure them
zoneadm -z <zone> boot
zlogin -C <zone>
After that you can continue to follow the step by step instructions at

    thanks

    Hi
I disabled the PMF as described on the http://blogs.sun.com/TF/entry/disabling_pmf_action_script_with. This is what I did
1>Added following line in the top of my Start script
    while getopts 'R:G:' opt
    do
    case "${opt}" in
    R) RESOURCE=${OPTARG};;
    G) RESOURCEGROUP=${OPTARG};;
    esac
    done
    sleep 60 &
    /usr/cluster/bin/pmfadm -s ${RESOURCEGROUP},${RESOURCE},0.svc
    2>While creating the resource , I used property for Start_command="/egateq00/scripts/reg_START.sh -R %RS_NAME -G %RG_NAME"
Now , after doing this , My RG is not getting lost. Also , in the message file I do not see the errors of "Start script failed to stay UP"
However, My Application is not started either.
This is what the message file says

  • Error while creating a Adaptive RFC Model

    Hi all,
I am trying to create a Model using a Adaptive RFC Model, I assign a Model name and the logical system names, enter the details in SAP Logon Information for the Single server, here it gives me a Gateway error. What could be the issue here?
NB: In the Host Name , I tried with both the Host name of the r/3 server and also with the SAProuter string ( as we have the server at other place) ,still it doesnt work. and I am able to login to the R/3 system from the SAPLogon GUI from my desktop normally.
Is there any issue of the firewall related to this, if so whats the port number that should be opened so that i can connect to the r/3 system get the list of BAPIs present there into my Webdynpro application .
    Need help on this
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Lohi n Gopi ,
I have checked out with the your given suggestion of trying with the host name as well as  IP address and also typing all the details, without copy pasting the details . In both the cases it gave the " Connect to gateway failed " error mesg.
But one intersting thing here that i observered when trying with hostname, IP address, or SAProuter string is as follows .
    <b>with IP address</b>
    <i>Connect to SAP gateway failed
    Connect_PM GWHOST="ipaddress",GWSERV=sapgw10,ASHOST="ipaddress",SYSNR=10
    LOCATION CPIC(TCP/IP) on local host
    ERROR      patner not reached(host "ipaddress",service=3310)</i>
    <b>with SAProuterString</b>
    <i>Connect to SAP gateway failed
    Connect_PM GWHOST="SAProuterString",GWSERV=sapgw10,ASHOST="SAProuterString",SYSNR=10
LOCATION SAPRouter on " some HostName"

    Connect_PM GWHOST="hostname",GWSERV=sapgw10,ASHOST="hostname",SYSNR=10
    LOCATION CPIC(TCP/IP) on local host

Is there any firewall port blocking issue here ?if so , whats the port that needs to be opened ?
    Appreciate your help.

  • Error while creating resource in SAP TM GUI and NWBC

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a resource in SAP TM. But getting the following error, I have activated all the relevant business functions (tcode SFW5) and also relevant services (tcode SICF) but still unable to get away with the issue. The NWBC error is not only for resource but for any master data I want to create its showing the same issue (the page is not loading and its showing a cross mark) whereas it works for other things like freight order creation etc.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Aunkur De

Can you please check whether all the business functions are active?
    Transaction: SFW5
    Note:
All the required business functions for SAP TM are provided in SAP document.

This doesn't look like a Sun Directory Server issue. You may want to post this to another forum.

  • Error while creating adaptive web service model

    Hi All,
There is a requirement where the webdynpro application is deployed in backend system while the web service is created in the front end system. We need to connect to this web service and execute it in our webdynpro application to get response. For this we have created Logical Destination in backend system that points to the web service in the front end system.
The web service, when tested directly through Web Services Navigator, works fine.
Here, while creating an Adaptive Web Service Model in the webdynpro application, after giving name, package, destination name etc when I enter wsdl url and click on Next I am getting an error as u201CError in downloading the WSDL fileu201D.
The error log says u201Ccom.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.exception.WSModelRuntimeException:Exception on creation of service metadata for WSDL URLu201D.
Even if I try to create model with url only by selecting u201CNo Logical Destinationsu201D, error remains the same.
What may be the reason for this and possible solution?
    Appreciate an early response.
    Regards,
    Mitali

    Hi All,
I am getting error while using DB Adapter in BPEL process
java.lang.Exception: oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'DevDBAdapter' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue. Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/> The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/DB/Dev'. The reason for this is most likely that either 1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or 2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/DB/Dev. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR). Please correct this and then restart the Application Server ".
