MBP 17" to Junxion Box wifi -- no loner work after OS 10.4.8 updated
In OS 10.4.7, my Junxion Box wifi to MBP 17”connection, each time MBP power on/off, I needed to go network preference to delete the WPA2 Personal to become WPA Personal, then I got connection. The WPA Personal automatically changed to WPA2 Personal each time when MBP power on/off.
After last week, Apple updated Mac OX from 10.4.7 to 10.4.8, then I repeated the same trick stated above, I got absolutely no luck. Every time I typed in my right password, my MBP automatically immediately changes from WPA Personal to WPA2 Personal, and no wifi connection at all. Totally dead, no luck.
Please kindly help, thanks
There has no solution to Junxion Box wifi ever since OX updated to 10.4.8.
The only solution is to connect the ethernet cable physically to your MBP, that is what I do nowadays.
Or you may open your wifi unsecured, if you don't mind other people may use it, then you shall have your wifi connected to work.
I tried to email Junxion technical support couple of times, to the end no help at all, the problem do still exist and may be in the Apple OS update side.

M3800 Developer Edition: wifi doesn't work after sleep
I have an M3800 Developer Edition (2015 model). Ubuntu is factory-installed 14.04, with hardware enablement stack installed. Recently (past 1-2 weeks) wifi doesn't work after sleep (lid closed or open doesn't matter), and only rebooting gets in back. Tried rmmod and modprobe with no success. Has anyone else seen this, and/or are you aware of any open bug(s) for this?

I'm having an issue where my wifi will stop working after sleep. This isn't the same problem where the network had to be manually reconnected--
The "radar" will be grayed out, and I can see the networks if I click on it, but I cannot reconnect, disable wifi (make the radar the pie shape). The only thing I can do is do a hard reset holding the power button until the computer shuts off.
In fact, if I select 'Apple -> Restart,' nothing happens. I have to hold the power button down.
Any thoughts?Wi-Fi still not reconnecting after sleep

Why does't Flashplayer work after I agreed to an update from an Adobe pop-up box prompt?
I had problems last year when Flashplayer stopped working suddenly. After months of seeking help, I received instructions that fixed the problem...until the other day. A pop-up box from Adobe appeared indicating an update was available. I agreed to installing the update and the Flashplayer has not worked since. I referred to my notes from the "fix" last year and made one adjustment in the Active-X settings, but this did not help. Flashplayer still does not work. Help! I just don't think I can go through this for several months again.
Hi,
I am going to try reorganizing my reply first and
just forwarding to you before I try to recover a
message. I think the problem may be that I
provided answers within your text instead of
separately. Your system may not like the format
I tried. So here goes.... I have pulled my
answers out of your message and they appear in
the order of your inquiries below.
“Check the Windows system tray carefully to make
certain no applications are still in memory which
might possibly use Flash Player.” –a statement
from the Adobe Un-install link article. I don't
know what “in memory” means. The only things I
have that may use Flashplayer that I know of is
the Weather Bug. Windows Mediaplayer is also
listed in my programs, but I have never used it.
Also, there is no mention of Norton here, but
Norton Internet Security ’09 is what I have installed.
1. No Firefox. MSN Exlorer is listed among my
Programs, but I have never used it. It was
likely installed by Dell when I purchased the computer.
2. Norton Internet Security '09. Bell Internet
Security - Alert is listed in my programs (with
options, including uninstall) but this is the first time I have noticed it.
3. Norton Internet Security has a firewall with
it that I understand is way better than Windows.
4. There is a Google toolbar, Norton toolbar and
a bunch of stuff listed in the Manage Add-ons
like Skype, Adobe and Sun Java Console which I think are add-ons.
Java Webstart is listed under Accessories in
Programs. In Programs is Adobe Distiller 6.0,
Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard, Adobe (which is
empty), Adobe.com and Adobe Reader 9. I did not find DLM or GetPlus.
I found no listing for Shockwave Flash
Object. You did not ask this and I don't mean to
get ahead of you but in case there is relevance,
I looked in Internet Options, Security, Custom
and saw a number of reference to Active X and
plug-ins, some of which are disabled; others enabled.
From reading in your posts to mlmarg, I saw the
instructions for finding the Flash folder and
used them. I used Explorer to access My
Computer,, C Drive, Folder 1386, Folder System
32. There are 2 items in it from 2002 but not
what I think you want. The 2 are SMSS.EXE and
NTDLL.DLL. If this is not correct, I will need your instructions to locate it.
I will ask because I don't always understand
what you are asking of me. Thanks.

ITunes WiFi sync not working after Lion reinstall
Hello all,
Here is the situation. Wifi syncing was working superbly well for both my iPhone and my iPad. They could be upstairs while I was downstairs in my office and I would see them both in iTunes and could sync them at will. Great stuff!
Until yesterday. I bought a new hard drive for my Macbook Pro, installed Lion on it and imported all of my apps and settings on it. Everythings works fine EXCEPT for wifi syncing. When I plug my devices to the USB cable I see them appear in the iTunes sidebar but I soon as I disconnect them, POOF! They're gone!
The checkbox IS checked. I tried unchecking it, syncing via USB, rechecking it an resyncing to no avail. I just can't get the darned thing to work again!
Both devices and the laptop have been restarted multiple times.
Any ideas?
Thanks! Can't believe it was so simple.
I just restarted my Mac and everything came back to normal.
Ok then sorry for the disturbance, move along, nothing to see here. -

Why the wifi doesn't work after the upgrade to iOS 5?
The problem is that after the upgrade to iOS 5 the wifi doesn't work. I mean, iPad is connected to the wifi but not to the internet and also the connection on the other device doesn't work. So I had to turn off the router and then turn it on.
Try a hard reset first to see if that does any good. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If no luck with that, you'll need to manually connect your iPod to your iTUnes library in recovery mode using the instructions in the Apple support document below. Doing so will allow you to bypass the passcode and restore the iPod.

WiFi doesn't work after repair
Hi,
Today I received my iMac 27" back from repair. It had the screen and the optical drive replaced since both were defect.
According to the papers, nothing else has been replaced, but WiFi doesn't work now. I can't connect to my own network (Time Capsule), and only very few networks show up in the list -- quite often, mine is not there, and sometimes there are none at all. Checking with a laptop right next to the iMac, I can see plenty of networks (and my own network works fine).
Could the Apple guys accidentally have screwed up something? I thought about looking at the antenna connectors on the AirPort card (a guide is available on iFixIt), but it seems quite complicated (and I don't have the necessary screwdrivers).
Thanks,
MichaelAnd if it under warranty you do not want to open it up and void your warranty.
When the authorized tech installed new memory modules in my 09 Mac mini, he shorted out my wireless card and they had to order a new one and install it. I would take it back and have them figure out what is wrong. -
Wifi doesn't work after screen replacement
My husband was gracious enough to replace the screen on my ipad 2. However, now, I can't connect to wifi unless I'm right next to the router. The antenna needs alot of signal to see any network. He verified the antenna isn't broken. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

WiFi (Key) stopped working after upgrade to Windows 10
I thought I would post this on the forum for those who are having the same problem because help for this issue is few and far between compared to the number of pleas for assistance from HP owners. When I upgraded to Windows 10 on my Pavilion, the WiFi stopped working and I could not turn it on using the hot key (F12). I searched for answers and worked hours trying to solve it until I came upon the only suggestion that worked for me: I had to disable fast boot (power options, change what the buttons do, "change settings that are currently unavailable" (?!?)) , so I could get into the bios and then I went into the bios by pressing f10 during boot. Reset them to defaults. (Changed from default back to what I wanted) saved and the wifi button turned white after pressing during windows 10 boot up. EDIT: If it does not turn on right away, try turning it on through the wifi settings. I hope this can help a few, who like me, struggled endlessly for a problem that few HP mods seem to be responding to. Cheers.

HT4528 iPhone 4s' wifi doesn't work after upgrading to iOS 7
My Verizon iPhone 4s will not connect to wifi after upgrading to iOS 7. You would think Apple would have figured this problem out before releasing iOS 7 to the public. Any fixes?
After having trying everything out on the web, I found a fix that worked out. The thing to do is to deactivate your phone and then reactivate it. The way to do it is to first power off the phone. Then take out the SIM card. Then power on the phone and make an emergency call for about 5 sec. Turn the power off. Place the SIM card back into the phone. Power on the phone and plug it into the computer and to itune. Itune will then ask for your user name and password. The wifi will be working.
All you have to do then, is reinstall your saved restored file.

Wifi doesn't work after 4.0.1-1 kernel update
Hi. I use 64bits archlinux, today I've updated linux from 3.18.6 to 4.0.1 and then my wifi card cannot connect to my net, network manager asks me for my password (although the password is obviously well typed). Downgrading linux to 3.18.6 solves the problem and internet connection works 'out of the box' as ever worked
I've compared dmesg and journalctl between both, 3.18.6 and 4.0.1 kernels.
dmesg-4.0.1: http://pastebin.com/ZyMvnmKm
journalctl-4.0.1: http://pastebin.com/r0r5Hd4z
dmesg-3.18.6: http://pastebin.com/1f18z9rh
journalctl-3.18.6: http://pastebin.com/HZkFASGw
I've found a warning in journalctl in 4.0.1 kernel that could be related with my problem
abr 30 14:58:51 surface NetworkManager[276]: <warn> Connection disconnected (reason 15)
However I'm really not sure what it means, any help would be very appreciated
PD: my machine is a Surface Pro and its wifi card has TONS of problems in linux, see https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/44269 and https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69661 . However I believe that this problem is not related with those older bugsDavid, there is no 'reason 15' in my journalctl.
However, for linux 3.19.3, there is 4-way handshake completed messages:
May 02 14:42:58 Archenlighter NetworkManager[340]: <info> (wlo1): supplicant interface state: associating -> 4-way handshake

But during the time linux 4.0.1 kernel was active there is no 4-way handshake message, however I found the following messages in journalctl during the time linux 4.0.1 kernel was in play:
