MBP Display Lines Problem

Hey everyone, I just bought a MBP 15' 2.2Ghz last wednesday and am now seeing a display line problem. I see a green dotted line that extends from the top of the screen to the bottom approximately 2 inches from the right of the screen. The color of the line seems to change slightly depending on whats on the screen. For instance, I had the ladybug wallpaper and the line was almost complete all the way down (stil dotted with a missing section) and the color was bright green. With a different wallpaper that had a night sky and a green figure, the line flickered green/blue in the night sky area and steady green in the green part. My question is whether this is software or hardware related. I read many many other posts and many had display line problems but not the same as this one. Should I get this repaired? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks

Hey man, sorry to heard you have a display problem too. I have a line at the bottom of my display which extends across horizontally. Fortunately, its just a clear, bleached looking line which I can mask with the dock. I dont think I could tolerate the line in which you have described.
I would bring it to the apple store that you bought it from and have one of the apple guys check it out. I would demand a replacement. They will try to repair it. You shouldnt be repairing a defective purchase.
I am on my 2nd MBP. My first was kernal panicing all the time. I got it to KP in the store and he immediately offered a replacement. Apple care is pretty good, so dont be afraid to bring it in and demand a replacement.

I bought Lion from App Store recently and installed it successfully on my MBP. After few days when I left my machine running Lion from morning till evening I see a thin green line on the left side of the screen. I tried searching the web and tried few options like restarting the machine, resetting NVRAM and doing Apple hardware test (By pressing D while the machine boots). The Apple hardware test did not detect any problem. The green line still exists.
Please suggest me how to get rid of green line.

I took it to apple service center. They did some checks and found out that the display has gone bad and they replced it with new one.
Did you try connecting other display (may be Apple Display or Dell monitor) using an adapter? In my case the Apple service center people tried doing it and the display was appearing just fine without any green line. So the fault was in my MBP display.

Problem in display line items in FS10N

Hi all,
I have checked ,check box in G/L account "Line items display " in FS00 in current period ( 4 / 2014 )after that line items get displayed in FS10N for this period .
There is problem in displaying line items for same G/L account with previous all periods such as 3/2014,2/2014,1/2014.
I have tried report "RFSEPA01" it works fine if we enter document number for selection with other parameters ,but it gives error if we run report with just Company code and G/L account .
Please provide any other way to get item details for previous periods or is there any update on report "RFSEPA01".
Please let me know why this issue occurred, if we activated the line item display for the particular G/L account in between the Posting period

You can check below two programs
RFSEPA01 - for line item display
RFSEPA02 - for open item display
Steps to follow:
1. Block the G/L account from posting
2. Run both programs
3. Unblock the G/L account
this will make the earlier posted items visible.

How to display line items twice in a single page in sap script

HI,
I am working on check printing. I copied the standard driver program and form to Zprogram and ZForm. Which are RFFOUS_C(print program) and F110_PRENUM_CHECK(Form Name).
I want to display the line items twice in the same page and sub sequent pages.
Currently I am able to display line items only once.
Example:
PAGE1.
line item1
line item2
line item3
line item4
line item5
line item1
line item2
line item3
line item4
line item5
line items 1 to 5 which are in main window.
How to achive this problem.

I had the same request for a check form in Canada. I solved it by writing the line item output into variables and print these variables in a second window. It was ~10 hours of effort, not a real nice technical solution but it worked.

My MBP display is not working. Need to move data to new MBP Retina.

Hello.
My 3 yr old MBP display failed (display just showing vertical and horizontal lines).
I bought a new MBP Retina today.
Genius Bar told me to simply attach FireWire, then press "T" on old MBP to boot in Target Mode.
Then, look for old MBP HD icon on new MBP Retina desktop.
I cannot find old MBP icon on desktop.
I cannot transfer data from old MBP to new MBP Retina.
Any help would be appreciated?

Genius bar told you right - you need to start your old MBP up into target mode (booting while hold down the T key) but you need to have the right FireWire cable hooked up to the machines before you boot either. What year is your old model? Does it hve FW400 or FW800?
Here are the instructions from Apple - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661. Take a look at it and see if it helps. Also make sure that you have the Finder set so that external and remote disks will show up on your Desktop. When the disk mounts you can either just copy over files or, if you want to transfer accounts and associated directories, use Migration Assistant in your Utilities folder to copy over the info.

Hi, I read the post about calibration and I probably do that a little too often TBH! As I get so little time out the battery and mainly use my MBP on my lap, usually with the power supply near by, it gets charged to full, run to empty to the point of sleep, or sometimes it even cuts out and then is recharged to full again, so I really think it's new battery time. I've seen non Apple Official ones for between £35 and £65 that have 3 year warranties and state they are around 5200mh but am unsure due to reviews.

Anyway's I have now ordered a non Apple replacement from Amazon for about £35 and it has several good reviews and 4.5 out of 5 stars so I'll see if it works and report back. If it doesn't I'll send it back and get the Official Apple one.

Macbook display color problems

macbook, mac os 10.5.8 updated, display color problem. when i try to fix it by color sync. it says:

Displaying line items, although not activated in FS00

Hi everyone!
I've got a question about line items.
I had created a GL account, and in it's master record I didn't activated Display line item. But, when I call transaction for displaying GL account's line items (FAGLL03), I can see line items?
How is that possible?
I know that there are some special cases, for example expense accounts: for every expense account there is a cost element in CO, and no matter settings in FS00, for expense account there is always line item display. Similary, reconciliation accounts always have open items management, irrespective of settings in FS00.
But this is just regular account, with very few settings in master record: its balance sheet account, the account currency is local currency, sort key 001 and field status group G001. And that's all.
Can somebody explaine this?

Guys. In addition to above my problem. I was facing this problem due to some graphics issue on my laptop. I was not able to see most of the fields because of Graphics Driver installed on my laptop. ( Later on I got this solution. ).
This seems very unrealistic to hear but my experience is true.
I hope in future if some one will have this issue please check out driver compatibility specially Graphics. This problem may suppose to encounter with Dell.
Anyways Z layout also worked fine as suggested by Guest FICO.

Intally GOTO FS00 and tick the line item display and then GOTO SE38 and give program RFSEPA01 and execute .
then GIVE co code and GL account number

Number of displayed lines in a table

Hello colleagues,
We are using a table with a master column (tree). Additional we are using an input field where a user can enter a number so that the displayed lines can be change at runtime.
Problem:
I would like to know the displayed number of lines as it is displayed in the button line of the table in the view (where a user can jump direct to a line) - but I do not know how I get it.
Question:
How do I get the content of the max number of available lines in the button of the displayed table?

thanks for the reply - the problem is not solved with the suggestion (because I do not get the maximum number of line displayed).
I did the following:
On the very first time if "modifyView" will be executed I do a loop over the table. If the maximum number is reached within the loop I set this number - if not I set the number of loops.
Here is a code example:
   DO 10 TIMES.
      ADD 1 TO l_counter.
      CLEAR elem_tabletree.
      elem_tabletree = node_tabletree->get_element( index = l_counter ).
      IF elem_tabletree IS INITIAL.
        SUBTRACT 1 FROM l_counter.
        EXIT.
      ENDIF.
    ENDDO.
*--- set the value to the bound variable
    elem_owner_node->set_attribute(

Calibrating the MBP display

Is there a way to calibrate the display for the MBP 17"?

look under system preferences -> displays -> color
i recommend using an external device like i1 display 2 for accurate results, since your eyes are really not that reliable.

MBP display dims slightly off while reading a long article....???

Hi all,
I have done a lot of research in this discussion, but couldn't find the resolution. The MBP display always dims slightly off while not in use for 1 minute. If I check off the setting in the Energy Saver/Option/"Automatically reduce the brightness.....", then display dims off completely (dark...)!! It's very annoying since ever time when I read an article without moving mouse for 1 minute, then the display dims off slightly. I have to keep moving the mouse so it doesn't dim off.
Actually my roommate has a MBP too... he has the same problem.... only takes 1 minute for the display to dim off (not completely, only dim off the brightness...) but he said it doesn't bother him. For me it is really annoying...
Does anyone have the same issue? Does anyone find any resolution?? I talked to the Genius guy and they said they don't know what to do about it....

thats just what it does for me, i dont have it set to anything to control that,
edit- found the app you can get to fix it (you cna test drive it or pay 9 bucks for teh full app http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/macosx1051update.html

Doh, mentioned this on yesterday's post but now it seems the mbp display is

getting worst and worst
first under a black background my screen look like a nice eveing with bunch of shinning stars (stuck pixels) lighting up the sky and then under different color backgrounds minutes ago just noticed 2 dead pixels one light blackish and one whiteish (the later one will probably need a closer look that the former one)
gonna bring it to the Apple store in the morning but i am scared that genius bar tech might eat me alive and refuse to recognize my problem

and when i run the lcd gradient test i wonder how can i tell if my mbp display pass the gradien test or not?
