MBP Retina Windows 7 x64 drivers will not load

I knew nothing about Mac or OSX and got my MBP running in July.
Then later I realised I shoudl take advantage of the Solidworks capacity to run 64bit so I removed partition, got the ISO, made the Flash USB, installed Windows 7 x64 and it is now installed.
But none of the drivers copied in. I used the latest updated Bootcamp 4.0.4 and really the first time I did this everything worked when I installed Win 7 x86 and the pc just started in Windows perfectly all drivers working (except the tap function on trackpad did not work).
I did everything according bootcamp instructions but no luck this time the drivers did not go in (i think)
Now my new windows 7 x64 is exactly as per my installaion disk W7 Sp1.0 x64 all there but absolute disaster the screen is not recognised I cannot even start to get the wireless working so no network no internet no help.
I tried to run the setup.exe from the USB ( where Bootcamp made directorories and copied nicely all the files etc etc) as per the printed copy of the bootcamp installation guide (printed copy on hand) but no success
What now please help?

(bump) I have a similar issue. Win7 installed fine but I have a few hardware drivers which did not load, particarly the wifi driver.
Anyone know how to handle this?

sorry it's not my apple id. it's my icloud email/account. after i updated to ios 8.1.2 my icloud acct on my phone is wrong. it's using my old college email address instead of my current icloud account email. my old college email address *used* to be my apple id, but i changed my apple id to my gmail account a few months back. anyway i can't "sign out" or delete the icloud account bc it thinks my college email address is my icloud account and it keeps asking for the password. so i'll type in the current password for my icloud account and it says it's wrong and i need to retry or change the password, which i've already done twice and nothing changes. probably bc its asking for the password associated with the college email address it thinks is my icloud acct.
i can access icloud on my desktop without a problem... make any sense? do i have to restore my phone now or is there a solution? i've wasted the last 2 days trying to figure this out. i can't send or receive emails on my iphone bc of this. which really ***** for work.

Lenovo g550 windows xp drivers will not load

Help! I purchased a Lenovo G550 yesterday and am in need of assistance. Unfortuantely it doesn't appear that there is any way to contact Lenovo, the website doesn't show any method of even emailing them without an IBM service tag (which unless you are corporate user you can't get).
I purchased a lenovo g550 yesterday configuration is 3gb ram 160Gb HDD. Upon booting the system I discovered that in fact users only get access to about 100Gb of the harddrive the rest is set up under multiple hidden drives. I the system came with windows 7 home edition. I need windows xp. So through several hours of work I was able to create some unallocated space on the harddrive. I loaded my copy of windows xp professional to this space and since windows automatically selects the drive name it is drive D:
I went to the lenovo website prior to loading xp and manually downloaded every driver from the site (very time consuming, I saw another way via a forum but was not able to locate it on the lenovo website). Immendiately after loading xp and rebooting I loaded the intel chipset driver. Then rebooted. No other drivers will load for any of the other pieces of hardware. All of THEM, everyone crashes with an error message that there is not enough disk space on c: to load. I would guess that there isn't since c: is a 200mb hidden drive created by Lenovo.
Does anyone have a work around for this problem with the lenovo drivers? This has turned into a multi-hour project for something very simple - putting an alternative operating system on the computer. I cannot put xp as the c: drive because of the lenovo hidden partition is named c:. I don't want to delete windows 7, as I expect to move to it in the next year but right now I several thousand dollars worth of software in xp and need to use that software.
I sure would appreciate any assistance :-) Again the issue is the lenovo windows xp drivers, everyone of them excluding the intel chipset driver will not load under windows xp when windows xp is loaded onto the d: partition. they all say they want to load onto the c: parition which is not an option.

Well if you do not want win7 all together, then just delete all the partitions and install your XP. But if your not wanting to mess up this drive to be able to use the win7 later then just buy a cheap HDD to put XP on. --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148452 $10 off and free shipping. but being that you already tried installing XP then you already messed up win7 anyways(if you did not make the restore disks), your better off just deleting and redoing XP.

G500s drivers will not load

My lenovo g500s touch refuses to udate drivers from Lenovo driver update. It says i do not meet min system requirements.The hard drive is a fresh reformat with all Microsoft updates complete. I am using a second monitor to try to get it repaired. I had a problem with the touch pad and clickers but found the answer on here. Ran the test from your site and one issue will not download also. I know for certin the display is fine. Thank you for your help

May I know the OS that you've installed on the G500s and the list of drivers that you're getting the "your system does not meet the minimum requirements" error?
In addition, if you have an Intel+Nvidia graphics then this uses Optimus Technology to switch between the Intel GPU (for power saving) and Nvida GPU (for maximum performance). To make this work, you will need to install the Intel driver first followed by the Nvidia driver.

Windows 7 64 bit will not load

Boot Camp Assistant created 20Gb partition OK, but Windows installer could not load WIndows 7 install DVD. Black screen with;

you need to use Windows 7 32-bit or modify the DVD.

Hint: Windows 7 SP1 update will need 8GB free space. Windows takes at least 16-20GB. Add in page file, hibernation (each size of physical RAM). Plus any programs and data you store. Cache and temp files (1-4GB) and you get the idea. you will find you can't even login to the sytem. Seen it happen.
old wives tale: double your best guess for how much RAM, disk space, whatever, to get a more realistic.
REMOVE the partition using BCA and create 40GB, being sure to leave 20GB free for Mac OS X volume also.

Windows 10 free upgrade will not load in my aspire V17 791, have the latest drivers i think.

Getting this error constantly, tried physical ethernet connection, and wireless connection, they both look like they're downloading the upgrade, then when it's supposed to reboot into the windows 10 install, it never does, it just goes back to my old win 8.1 and i see it errored out, with this. WindowsUpdate_80240054 which says i need updates, but i dont' see any new updates on acers website, nor is there any new windows updates to d/l. So i'm at a loss, anyone else have trouble with windows 10?

I did find the solution in that series of emails but it definitely was a windows problem. what I had to do to get it to work was actually disable my HD by unplugging it and then did another clean install in which it used my ssd as the main drive and installed fine. if anyone else has this problem you can post here and I can tell you what I did. but basically just powered down, unhooked HD then loaded windows 10 then powered down and re plugged in the hard drive and everything was good.

Dozens of drivers will not load on brand new HP ENVY 14t-1000 CTO Notebook PC. Win 7 Ultimate N

I recenty paid for a brand new HP ENVY 14t-1000 CTO Notebook PC.It had entirely too much bloatware and I have doe fresh install's hundreds of times. The installs went fine but only 4 drivers from the driver page for this product on Win 7 will install. I am without the Wifi, Ethernet, Sound, Display, Smart Card Reader, and about 10 more that I am not sure what they are. I googled the PCI ID's of some and found what should be the driver as in the Wifi is the Broadcom driver from the support page for this product but after the install nothing happens. Then you get the pop up that says there was the program may not have installed correctly. If I point the device directly at the directory for any of these it says driver not found. I have never had such a time installing drivers for a supported OS. It came with Win 7 on it. I am just trying to perform a clean install. I will gladly provide the device ID's for anyone at HP that can give me a driver that will work. The ones on the appropriate page do not. I know I am missing the IDT sound driver, The realtek ethernet driver, I believe the ATI HD Video driver, and the Broadcom Wireless driver for starters but once again all version new and legacy on the drivers page DO NOT install. Help. I am this close to calling HP and returning this thing. I only received it today and would have no qualms about sending it back.

I looked at the support and driver page for the 14t-1000, and that model is 5 years old according to the release dates of drivers listed there. Ar you sure that is the model number? Can you please post the product number for the PC? The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number. You can also post the top line of each hardware ID's for each device needing drivers. I'll see what I can find. The driver directly from Realtek should install the card reader (PCI Device). I have been trying for about 1 month to download Flash Player. When I down load it it ends with installation error. When I send error report and I get a response it says an application error.Besides me who has a problem; Adobe, Windows, or IE8? Can anyone tell me?

Hi, To whom are you sending an error report? Go to this Troubleshooting Guide and page down until you see the various errors?
Which error are you receiving?
Also were you following the Uninstall/Install procedures from that Guide? If not, what Adobe site were you using?

Drivers for MX700 will not load

I tried to use the scanner on my Pixima MX700 multifunction printer and it would not work. I downloaded all new software from the Canon website, drivers and all and the drivers will not load. Help.

In Firefox 18.0.1 on Windows XP, pages will not load until I hit reload

In Firefox 18.0.1 on Windows XP, many pages will not load initially. They will sit, blank, with the little spinning circle. If I hit reload, they immediately load. I have verified that all plugins are up to date (AdBlock Plus and Web Of Trust) and that I have the latest version of Java. I also have added Firefox as an exception to Windows Firewall, and verified that no proxies are set.

Safari will not load a home page after dload of Svc. Pack 3 for XP!!

After an upgrade by Microsoft to Service Pack 3 for Windows XP Pro, Safari will not load a home page of any kind and I get a blank screen where I normally am able to get Yahoo's Web Page instead.

Probably a good idea to uninstall and then reinstall safari. I got service pack 3 and safari just disappeared, I have reinstalled it and had no problems (other than a 'SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ERROR' pop up as per my other post!

Satellite T210 - Windows 8 x64 drivers and BIOS update

Can anyone from Toshiba Support tell me if and when we can expect Windows 8 x64 drivers for Toshiba T210? The equipment is pretty classic. I am sure this is very easy to compile available drivers into the official release
I also wanted to know as when Toshiba T210 finally gets BIOS update. Its current BIOS version is 1.60 while many other similar and earlier models jumped to 2.2 BIOS version and above

Under Toshiba Compatibility Matrix you can check if your notebook model is supported for Win8 or not.
What to say about BIOS. Toshiba doesnt offer BIOS update if there is no some critical problem or some reason for that. If your piece of hardware works well and stabile there is no reason for BIOS update. What do you expect should happen with newer BIOS version?

Hi there, Well, i thing i might have had the same problem (if you dont mean the selecting part, then try keyboad with usb and without if u dont have a macbook pro or so), i did the same and after selecting windows it said "No bootable disk" or " no boot disk" or something like that and the installer wont start when i was trying to install via CD/DVD.
The sulution is to use 2 usb-drives, one for the support drivers from apple and one for the windows it self after burning the CD/DVD to the usb on a PC using the windows own tools and creating a ISO file.
(there might be problems whit CD/DVD install sometimes)
The ISO file on a own USB is the most importat thing!! (and even apple and windows didnt know that but me and a technikal support guy from the store i bought it managed to fix it after like 4 days )
