MBP wireless does not work, DSL does....all of the sudden.

Hi Forum, I turned on the MBP this morning (while captureing vid on my POWERMAC), to check email. Wireless said I was not connected to internet....but the DSL on the powerbook (and when I plug it into the macbookpro) works fine. Unplug it and no internet connection...though the wireless signal shows strong. i've looked in the forum, help, etc, and can't seem to find a way to actually "connect" again via wireless....i saw something on the forum about WEP but do not know what this is.....can anyone please advise....OK...I'm unplugging the DSL cable now!
Thanks
Mark

hey mark
what kinda of a router do you have and do you know what kinda IP address it is giving your computer?
WEP stands for Wired Equivalent Privacy just a level of security that will be on a network there are a few different kinds that can be set up the type of router you have might give some more insite on this for me
one thing you might try is setting up a test location in the network preferences and try joining again
