Mcafee antivirus software does not down load

Hello:
I just switch from Norton antivirus to Mcafee but I can't down load it; I get a message box saying that other non compatible software needs to be removed. I double checked that all my norton has been removed. Does OS X Yos. have antivirus running in the background that need to be disabled first? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

How is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library? In other words, what options and configurations do you have enabled from under the iPod's Summary and Music configuration panes in iTunes?

HT4059 I have IPad Air. I use Drop Box. Downloaded manuscript with Ipad air does not down load completely, no images. I used Ipages, and Files Pro. Mac IOS does it and windows XP.

when I download a manuscript from my DropBox to My Ipad air, it does not open Images and some contents are not aligned, yet if I download from MyMac or XP it works. On Ipad air I have used the Dropbox, Pages and files Pro. What is wrong?

The iPad will work with WPA-TKIP or WPA2-AES. AES provides much stronger security. There is much misinformation on the Internet on this subject.

A recently purchased iPad Air does not download apps. I select "Get", it asks for my Apple Id account password, it is entered, but the icon which has a circle spinning around, stops and then displays "Get" without downloading the app. I have tried Facebook and The Weather Network. Any help out there?

The 2G iPod can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. You have two choices:
- Live with not using the latest apps.
- Purchase a newer model iPod.

Have you tried resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your Music app is behaving normally.

I would try uninstalling all of the Apple software and then reinstalling it using these instructions:
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
You migh want to try doing this when in safe mode.

What app are you trying to download? Is it iPhoto for iOS? What error message are you receiving? The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Store account on your iPhone. Then restart the device and log in again.

I have an applet,which works fine when I use appletviewer to see it. But from the browser, the applet does not get loaded.
An error appears at the bottom of the browser that load: class not found.
Any suggestions...please..

If you are using Internet Explorer, you should check to see if your browser is set to use Sun's JRE that came with your download of the SDK. (If you didn't install the JRE, you need to go back and run that on your machine. You can check to see if you are using Java's runtime enviornment (JRE) in Internet Explorer by opening IE and going to Tools --> Internet Options... --> and then going to the Advanced tab. Scroll down and make sure the box next to Java Sun "use Java 2 for <applet>" is checked. If that option is not available, you need to install the JRE.
If that doesn't help, try using the HTML converter that comes with the SDK. It'll take your current HTML page, and you can customize it to force a download and/or usage of the JRE for applet viewing if for your particular browser.

Or, do the update while connected to iTunes, which does not require extra space on your device, and in my experience seems to be a much more reliable update method anyway.

I tried again this morning. All I see is a white screen with the words "iTunes Store" in the center of it, in gray. When I click on store at the top, and then "Home", the top of the browser says "Accessing iTunes Store" with a progress meter that goes halfway, stops and then it turns into the black Apple logo. Same thing happens when I try to click on that little house icon.

To answer your question: you likely don't have at least iOS 5 (even though your tag line says you do). That feature was only added in iOS 5. prior versiosn did not have it.

Nokia 5233 will not down load maps

Hello, my nokia 5233 will not down load any maps have down loaded google maps but it will not open. Have done a system upgrade. don't know how to save before doing anything else. The only maps ovi store has are maps of Melbourne Metro train stops which does not help me. please help me

Bear in mind that 5233 does NOT have embedded GPS chip, which is why in Menu > Applications > Location > Positioning > Positioning methods there is only choice of Bluetooth GPS or Network based, the latter being insufficient for navigation purposes.
