MCIZ report's functionality

Hi Experts,
For vehicle consumption my client requirement is as follows:
I) They want daily tracking of Vehicle Movement.
II)They fill the Tanker of trucks one time for 8 to 10 days requirement.
II) They want to track the cost per route.
Actually I am doing IFCU transaction for getting reports.
I have done following changes in system:
I)I have changed all the IS updated monthly to updated daily.
II) I have created special measurement positons and according to them their counter.
Now In IFCU i Posted one month back log data and putting the Diesel Consumption after 200 kms (Means arround 10 days difference).
Now when I am doing the calculation in the IFCU. The system is giving accurate avg and running hours and maintenance schedule.But when I am taking the report through MCIZ I am having following report.
1)The Date Column is Showing all the dates .
2)Miles/Km column showing the data according to i Put in IFCU
3)Fuel/Volume column showing accordingly I put in system to corresponding date.
4)Consumption f. Dist. is showing data only on those dated on which I Put Fuel readings.
5)Cost Per Route Column in this same figures are coming in all the dates.
6)Cost Per Hour Column in this same figures are coming in all the dates.
7)Total Actual Cost Column in this same figures are coming in all the dates.
And when system is doing oveall total It is showing the sum of Column 7 But in actual cost is only the single value of Column 7.
Please Tell me where i am doing mistake.Hope I Explained my problem clearily.

Hi,
It seems data posted by you need to be part of statistical data set up which is missing and hence this problem.Do initial data set up and then activate updating as required for daily from monthly(which you have done already).As updating definition have changed in between it had impact on report.

Another possible reason besides of possible path problems: Are you
running that application on the same computer? If not you need not only
to install the Runtime-Engine (automatic when you create an installer)
but also the Report Active X support.
To include that into the installer
you go into the Installer Settings Tab, then press the Advanced button
and make sure that you check the NI Reports Support checkbox before
creating an application build.

Calling a report from function module

Hi Friends,
I have requirement for Function Module i.e. we will add the button to the standard T-code and ( Function added in config ) then
Function to be called from Customizing
Program A called from customizing function
CalculationPDFFunction is called from program A.
So can any one help me the logic for "calling a report from function module ".

Hi Jaya,
Yes. It is possible to call ur custom program using SUBMIT statement.
1. If u have data to pass then build table type RSPARAMS and use below statement.
data:
      rspar_tab TYPE TABLE OF rsparams,
      rspar_line LIKE LINE OF rspar_tab,
SUBMIT report1 WITH SELECTION-TABLE rspar_tab
               AND RETURN.
1. If u want to create variant to the program and use that. use the below statement .
SUBMIT report1 USING SELECTION-SET 'VAR1' "variant
               AND RETURN.

Hi,
Please try to download the SP1 Edition of the rsSharePoint.msi
file and install it. You have to install the SP1 edition of RS if you are using SP 2013.

U can able to delete the query from BEx query designer or from BI.
IN sap Bex query designer, just by opening the query menu -->delete query .
the other way to delete the query is BY using the table RSZDELETE . with that u can able to delete the bex query, CKF, RKF etc..

Hi Kumar,
Incorporate the below logic in the FM that you have developed.
SUBMIT zreport WITH s_vbeln IN t_saleorder_range
WITH p_file EQ w_file
AND RETURN.
Note: Here, t_salerder_range is an internal table of type range. It has four fields just like selection-options...SIGN,OPTION, LOW and HIGH. Whatever the values that you pass here would be taken as the selection screen values for the report that you are calling.

Access Report Custom Functions from code

Hello,
I am using VS2005 (VB) and was able to change formula text from within code using the "FormulaFieldDefinitions" object. However, I am having problems finding out how I can do the same to Report Custom Functions. The reason I am doing all this is that I noticed during my Windows app is running the source of my .rpt file is thrown in the user "Local Settings\Temp" folder and all code is revealed by simply opening that file. It looks like it is not possible to access the custom functions within a report using the CR .NET SDK. However, to address the potential security issue that you may be concerned about, is this a Windows or ASP.NET application? If this is an ASP.NET application, then you shouldn't have to worry about the security as the end-user (client) will not be able to access that folder since the rest of the web server is typically unaccessible by the client.
Another way to secure your reports is to use what we call "managed reporting" solutions such as Crystal Report Server or Business Objects Enterprise, which manages reports securely and your users are only allowed to access/see what you allow them to. These solutions also provide public SDKs so you could incorporate the system into your own applications. For more information, go to www.businessobjects.com/products.

The Report Abuse Function

Has anyone else had trouble with the Report Abuse function?
Recently I attempted to write an abuse report, but received an error message upon submission.
How does one report abuse in this forum?

Questions usually remain unanswered if no one knows the answer. It would appear that you are the only person who has felt it necessary to use the Report Abuse button in this forum. If that's the case, no one can verify whether there's a problem.

This question can be easily answered by anyone, who might be inclined to seek a moderator's support either now or in the future. They have merely to
1) Click on the appropriate button.
2) Enter a brief test message.
3) Verify whether it is sent.
4) Report their finding to this discussion.
I have now tried to send three messages using the Report Abuse function. Two of them failed outright, and the only test message sent went through unacknowledged.
Before I register a formal complaint with Adobe I would like to gather evidence to support my case.

How to auto create Report Search functions and Breadcrumb Menu on new pages

Hi
First off I want to say I have just started using Html DB, and think its a great product! I have been using it for a few months now to create an application, and find it flexible, powerful, but still fairly simple to use.
When I create a new Application using "Based on Existing Tables", the pages that get created have some very nice Report Search functions and Breadcrumb Menu features generated automatically.
I want to do the same when I add pages to an existing application. That is, I want new pages to automatically include those Report Search functions and Breadcrumb Menu features.
I have tried various combinations of the existing wizards, but I have not been able to find any that generate all those features automatically. I know I can create pages using the page wizard, and then manually add the Report Search and Breadcrumb Menu. But that is very tedious. Nor can I find a better answer in the forum
Any suggestions or ideas?

ABAP Query- Report Assignment functionality

Dear Collages,
I am using SQ01 for reporting materials data information.
Also I am using the Report Assignment functionality to call transaction MM02
In the drill down mode expecting to change materials according to the ALV list after selecting double click on one material out from list.
The problem is that the material I am getting after moving to transaction MM02 is the last in Memory Id not the one I want to get fro ALV list.
Is this functionality I am expecting is available in ABAP Query??
If so how!

You need to clear the parameter id MAT , Try to use some events or using free coding clear the MAT
