MCTA: Customer Analysis Report
Dear All,
1. While using this report I want to use the functionality of comparison with planned and actual value. Any body let me know where Can i set the planned value? From where system brings the planned value to compare with Actual value.

Being a extensive subject you first understand the releavant configuration and and analyis how it can be implemnetated in your case.

Thanks for all the effort in answering my question on customer analysis, after doing the required config as given by victor it worked, pls the only thing left is that the management wants the report for the period before the config was done, mc+e is not getting this, it give error "no data generated" how can i pull out this data?

The infotable behind MC+E is infostructure S001.
You should recalculate its content using standard programs from LIS customizing.
Check OSS notes beforehand, the trick is to calculate first the sales orders, then the deliveries and only afterwards the billing documents. Also check the update groups is correctly updated in the old sales documents, on the contrary, the statistical setup of the infotable will not work correctly.

You need to the require settings for the below four steps.
1. Define reporting views
2. Assign information block to view
3. Assign default view to user
4. Set document display.
Then run a sales process starting from sales order to invoice. Then execute the transactions MCTA and MC+E you will get the desired results. You will not get the past information prior to the activation of these settings.
I set the above settings in my system and its working.

Customer Analysis Dump - DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL
Hi all,
when I try to comparison previous period with tcode MCTA (Customer Analysis) the system generate the following dump.
It occurs when I select 2092 Sold-to-party for 1 Sales Office and for 1 month. Since last week it has been working.
The SAP release is ECC 5.0 on SQL 2005.
Runtime Error DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL
Except. CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB

What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "RMCV0100" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.

which explains the various option to solve your problem.
The dump is occuring because of too many inputs(20000 material number) in the select option.

Statistic Group:
Purpose To capture data for Standard Reports, we require to activate Statistic Group as under:
--> Item category (Configuration)
--> Sales document type (Configuration)
--> Customer (Maintain in Master data)
--> Material (Maintain in Master data)
When you generate statistics in the logistics information system, the system uses the combination of specified statistics groups to determine the appropriate update sequence. The update sequence in turn determines for exactly which fields the statistics are generated.

Customer-Specific Key Figure and MCI3 analysis report

We have created a "Customer-Specific Key Figures" in customizing and mapped the key with value category. But this new defined key figure is not available in the report MCI3.
How to get this figure in the analysis report MCI3 etc , i.e. how to update the information structure S115.

GL Account Report with Customer Analysis
Hi..
Is there a straight forward way of producing a list by GL Account, which provides the Customer No posted to in the same Document?
For example
Doc No 1234567890
01 Customer 999 £500
50 GL 12345
Executing a search on GL 12345 would therefore output with Customer analysis and the Customer 999 will be inlcluded.

Currently I try to run the sales analysis report by item with secondary selection on customer from & customer to.
Is it possible for the layout to display the customer from & customer to.
I try to look for the table name OFLT, but I cannot find it.
My main concern is to display the customer name in the layout for sales analysis by item.

The table OFLT stores selection criteria for all form. If there is no customer name/code in system PLD, it is very hard to find table or system variable.
Tried to get customer name, not successful.
Alternatively can try to create customized query to get additional field in sales analysis report.

How will i get the data regarding <b>customer wise recievable report</b> (any table for it).
Ex: If the sale is of 100000 and i have recived an interim payment of 40000, now i would like to know the table that gives me the value 0f 60000 which is recievables.Any table where i can either extract the values of 100000 and 40000 or 60000.

Hi Experts
When I Run Purchase analysis report in SAP Business One 8.8 under individual vendor view the Open A/P Invoice (not done Payment) sowing 0.00 in the Applied amount and the purchase amount is showing negative value bacuse it is a credit memo - which is correct.
But when I run the same report in my customer site who are running SAP B1 2005 PL 43, they are not seeing 0.00 in the applied amount instead they are seeing the same negative amount which is displayed in the purchase amount.which is not correct.
Please assist me

Sales Analysis Report - Items -- blank result
Hi,
I'm testing a setup and running the sales analysis report. It works for the Customer version but I get no results when running on Items.
I'm on SBO 2007A SP01 PL07. There are open and closed invoices for inventory items; no credit memos have been posted. All Item type invoices.
When I run by Customer, I get the correct data - open and closed invoices for that customer.
When I run by Items, I get no results. The date range is the same for both reports.
When I run the purchase analysis on Items, I get data for the same items I am trying to see in the sales analysis.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

I left the default settings:
- Annual Report, Invoices, Individual Display, No Totals
- Posting Date: whole fiscal year
- Main selection: left blank/default (group = all, no properties)
I have double/triple/quadruple-check even the Secondary SElection to make sure there's nothing there.
I have also run it on Due Date instead of Posting Date, still no results (if run on Items).
As I mentioned, the selection criteria is what I want but for some reason that one version, Items, does not work. The other 2 tabs work with the same selection.

Dear Experts,
I've configured 4 service warehouses to an item in SAP B1 8.8 PL:16. And now I want to see sales analysis report of that particular item against each service warehouse. But from the Sales Analysis or purchase analysis report I can't able to see service warehouse wise sales quantity & amount.
N.B.-Those items are created as Sales & Expense item only, no inventory.
