MCU 3515 conference control

Hi, i have an mcu 3515 12 ports, i have already configured the IP adresses of the MC and EMP..etc.
I configured a service that use SCCP, but in the Conference control i can't use this service to create a conference. Does Conference Control of mcu support creation of SCCP conference?

On entering the MCU web page there is an option to enter a conference id in order to view the conference details.
This is not operational.
Workaround:
Log in as administrator or operator. Select the Conference Control button on the left hand side of the page. A new page with a list of the current conferences is displayed. Select the conference of choice to view the conference details.

  • TMS 14.4.1 snapshots in Monitoring Conference Control Center not updating

Snap shots in the Conference Control Center are not updating.
We are using TMS 14.4.1, Java 7 update 51 on the server.
All are C-Series (c20 or c60) endpoints running version TC7.1.4 bridged with an MCU (MSE 8510)
All end points have web snapshot enabled
I have tried using Java 7, update 51 and the current version on the Windows 7 desktop.

    Hi Patrick,
We don't have a conductor, so that may be one point of difference between yours and mine, but the original poster didn't mention any conductor or MCU, and his screen grab looks like a simple point to point call.
There were issues in versions of TMS prior to 14.4 with the websnapshots in CCC - this is mentioned in the release notes as an "other change": "Enabled Conference Control Center snapshots for systems running Cisco TelePresence TC software version 6 and later."

  • MCU 3515 Error: Wrong Moderator PIN

    Hi all,
I have an error (Error: Wrong Moderator PIN) with the MCU 3515 when I try to create a new conference.
    Any idea about that?

Here is the procedure In the PIN Settings tab you can define a policy for the use of PINs for accessing a conference.
Step 1 In the Administrator interface, on the sidebar, click MCU (if not already selected).
Step 2 Click Services. Select the service you wish to configure and click Add.
The Automatic Service Definition dialog box appears.
Step 3 Click Advanced Management and Security.
The Management and Security interface appears.
    Step 4 Click PIN Settings.
Step 5 Select Force conference PIN protection if you want user to enter a PIN when creating or entering a conference using this service.
Step 6 Select Do not to ask for conference PIN when dialing-out to invitees if you want only dial-in participants to enter the conference PIN.
    Step 7 Click OK.
Then you don't get this error. Try it.

  • Does MCU 3515 supports direct ip dialling?

    Hi,
Does anyone knows if MCU 3515 supports direct ip dialling? we want to establish videoconferences but participants should be able to dial to an IP address without registering to a gatekeeper.

Direct IP dialing is supported on MCU 3515 only in version 5.6. In order to do so, you have to do the following :
    - Put a fake gatekeeper address (if you don't have any gatekeeper) i.e. 1.1.1.1 (do not use an ip address ending with 0).
    - Enable Auto Attendant IVR
    - Choose a Default Service Prefix previously configured as Service Type : "HD/SD Continuous Presence".
    - Disable "Register conference ID" on Advanced Settings.
Now you can Dial through the MCU IP address.

  • TMS Conference Control Center not populating

    Hi,
In our TMS version 14.5.0, The endpoints stop populating in the conference control center.
I do have enable Adhoc Conference Discovery set to Yes under Network Settings.
On the main page of TMS, it shows active and finished conferences but nothing displays in the conference control center.
    Any help would be appreciated!

Probably best to start a discussion of your own, and link to the other discussions that might be of context to your issue so to not mix up different discussions in a single thread.  Also, please provide what software versions you're running for TMS and Conductor, as well as what versions of TMS and Conductor was working before it stopped.

  • Help with MCU 3515 in SCCP with CCM 6.1

    Hi,
    I have CCM6.1 + MCU3515 configured for skinny only.
I want to have a multipoint videoconference between 3 SCCP video endpoints (7970+VTA).
If I try to make an adhoc conference, I only have audio, no video.
If I try to initiate the conference from the MCU, everything works fine.
12 videos ports are allocated to the SCCP protocol profile.
    MCU version is 5.5
Any idea on what could be the problem ?
    Thanx,
    Bastien.

Yes, it was simply a problem of regions and locations.
My locations wasn't well configured (no enough bandwith defined).

  • MCU 3515 *& netmeeting

Trying to do simple audio conf with netmeet and mcu.
GK is registered to MCU and endpoints are showing up in GK as well as mcu.
when i create conf i am able to invite participants from the GUI interface within the conf but cannot dial from the netmeet clients directly into conf (Example: 80xxxx - where xxxx is the 4 digit conf number).
ANy ideas why invite works and dial in does not?
I have netmeet configured to use GK and login using account and login using phone number.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    THanks,
    Paul.

I had this problem last week with a VSX 8000 using H.323 to a 3515. I was able to fix it by disabling Basic Mode and H.239 in the Call Preferences menu on the VSX.

  • TMS Conference Control Center (CCC) problem

I'm using TMS v14.5.0 to monitor/manage our environment. When in the CCC, the left pane (shows My Watch List, All Video conferences and Reservation, etc.) collapses randomly. In other words, I hit the plus sign (+) next to Active to see what's going on. Frequently, as soon as I click on an individual conference, the list collapses. My guess is that it's a java problem, but wanted to see what others had to say (and how to fix). Java version is v6 (build 1.6.0_23-b05). EI v11.0.9600.17501. Firefox v32.0.2. TMS running on virtual Win2012 server. The problem happens when using IE or Firefox. We had the same problem with TMS v13.2.1 and server v2003, but it seems worse now. We do not use CUCM or Prime Collaboration.

I had a similar problem and we upgraded TMS's Java to V 7.51 and made sure that the machines accessing TMS CCC were on at least version 7 and we had no further issues.  I never had the auto collapse happen but we did have some very interesting issues.

  • TMS conference control center does not populate Conductor Conferences

    Hello,
We have just recently upgraded to conductors running 3.01 and all TPS to 4.1.  TMS is running 14.5 with TMSPE on 1.3.  After the upgrade to 3.01 TMS no longer sees any conferences managed by the conductors.  Previously on 2.4.1 this worked without issue.  All systems have been booted and had services restarted and yet we have nothing.  All other conferences show, including our 8510, 8710 and regular point to point.  Only conductor does not show.  Anyone else have this happen?
    Thanks,
    Liam

I would rather not upgrade until TMS 14.6 is proven not to have major bugs (like 14.0 which caused a lot of havoc for me).  I did no see requirements for 3.01 to be on 14.6 so this should all technically still work, at least by Cisco's documentation.  In previous upgrades it took about a day for these conferences to come back so I did not think anything of it until I came back in this week and they still did not show.  Since I have rebooted, restarted all services, verified that all versions are compatible and still nothing.

  • H.323 MCU 3515 as H.323 Gateway in CCM

    Hi,
I have a little bit confusion and i hope u can help me clear it up!!
In which cases the MCU 3115(H.323 enabled) is configured in CCM as a H.323 Gateway??
Plz help me to clear this up, i need help urgently.
    Thank you.

    Hi Mikheil,
Could u please inform if the call to the originating endpoint is released, before you get the "recovery on timer expiry message"??
Also, the restrictions on Call Redirection Web page requires IVR to be setup for this feature to work. Is this setup?? Could u give more explanation regarding the problem.
    thanks and regards,
    Amit.

I've a new MCU3515 and I found some problem when EMP tries to register in MCU. Then I saw that the version in EMP and MCU wasn't the same, I try to put all in the same version but I’ve this problem.

  • T.120 support on 3515 MCU

I'm not able to select the T.120 option within the services profiles on my 3515 MCU. The services are not SCCP enabled (SCCP isn't enabled on the MCU either) so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestion is appreciated.

The Join Data Conference button on the MCU conference control page allows users to join T.120 data conferences from the computer running the conference control. This button is currently not available in version 5.0 and will be re-added in a later patch.
