"MD2withRSA is disabled" error after Java upgrade

Hi everyone,
I have been using JRE 6 (with various updates) with Reflection for Web 4.5 for several months.
However, when I try to run this from a URL now, I get the following error dialog appear:
The publisher cannot be verified by a trusted source.
Code will be treated as unsigned.
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed:
java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: algorithm check failed: MD2withRSA disabled
This could be a problem with Update 17, I have tried Update 2 and Update 16 (after uninstalling Update 17) on the same machine and I do not get the error.
Once I install update 17, I get the error again.
With a newer version of (Reflection for Web 9.0), I do not get this error with Update 17.
Has some low security mode been disabled with this latest version?
Can I enable "MD2withRSA" somehow?
Does anyone know how I can allow this to run, or flag it as a trusted source?

I'm having the same issue trying to access the Lexmark printer web page. I don't want to install an older version of Java. Can anyone from Sun assist? Below is the error message I get:

After upgarding Java on Application server to JDK7, I am not able to go past the logon screen of oracle application in R12 using the IE-8 web browser, got with below error, whereas i am able to work as usual in Firefox web browser, also found that some others are able to access applications including forms who are having smillar system configuration as that of mine, like OS, IE version.

Finding: Incorrect SQL throws a random error (after 2005 upgrade)

Hi I thought that I would share an experience that we found after upgrading a system to 2005:
Due to the upgrade of SBO, one of our addons didn't work properly after upgrading it to 2005. Basically the code would break in random places (while stepping through it in the Development Environment).
After some time we identified the error was being thrown because a sql query we were using was incorrect due to the changing of the DB structure in the upgrade. The weird thing was that it didn't throw an error at rs.DoQuery(query) but actually would step into the recordset and then the addon would suddenly stop working - hence the reason it took a while to identify it was the sql causing the problem.
Anyway updating the sql fixed the problem, but if anyone else is finding strange behavior whilst trying to identify why an addon might stop working after an upgrade, you should check any sql being used is still correct....

The first versions of SBO2005A SDK (PL00 to PL04) was the say the least VERY buggy... PL05,06 and now 07 seem to get things under control... Any rampup version of 2005 should at least get up PL05 ASAP... I didnt have many problem with the SQL, but "Server produced an error was a very common error".. my problem was primarily in matrixes (add/remove of lines), itemevent (pval internal COM error) and the dangerouse UserTable error due to currupted object in it....

Jco call rfc throws error after WAS upgrade sp15

When 2 days ago, our WAS engine version is sp14.
And we have one application using jco library to connect to SAP R/3. It works well.
After we upgrade WAS to sp15.
This function throws out the error.

B)If you are using any JDBC driver,Check your JDBC driver is registered. or else you have register it
1. Start the Visual Admin tool
2. In the tab Cluster, open the node of the server you want to check.
3. Open the node Services under the server you want to check.
4. Click on the entry ClassLoader Viewer under Services. 5. The components are displayed in the right window. Open the node Applications in the right window.
6. Look for the entry sap.com/com.sapportals.connectors.database and click on it.
Under sap.com/com.sapportals.connectors.database, your JDBC driver should be available

Error after V6R1M0 upgrade

After OS upgrade V5R3 -> V6R1 we encounter problems with starting SAP. All the WORK process's dies.

SIM card registration error after SW upgrade

After I upgraded my Nokia 6110 Navigator to SW 4.22 I get insert SIM or SIM card registration error. It happends approx. once a week. Before I upgraded my mobile it never happend. Why?

This is often a problem with the SIM itself. That it started showing just when you did the firmware upgrade could be coincidence.

Dates one day behind after java upgrade to 1.6.0_27

I have upgraded from Java 1.5.0_06 to 1.6.0_27
After the upgrade ,I saw that dates are a day behind.All dates that lie between November 6th to March 10th are correct but dates
lying between March 10th to November 5th for any year are wrong.(one day behind)
Is it something to do with DayLight saying.
I am using GMT-5 Eastern Time(US & Canada) and Server is set to automatically adjust time coressponding to day light saving.
I checked,I get the date correct from database and in the factory class also it is correct,in the servlet it is correct but my Viewclass which calls this servlet shows date one day behind.
I am doing no conversion ,the date fetched from database is stored like
java.sql.Date beginDate= resultSet.getDAte("BeginDate")
Schedule.setBegindate(beginDate)
In the Schedule Object ,the beginDAte is of type Date.
I am adding all dates to a treeset.I do a printout just after setting,it is correct
But in my view class ,its one day behind,no manipulation is done.Dont know why is the day incorrect.
IS it because of Java version.

As I mentioned the values of dates as fetched from database ,factory class and getDatesCommand class prints fine.Its just inside this class after the call to servlet ,it displays wrong date.
I have an applet ,LoginTestApplet which is the entry point for my application.Inside the default constructor ,I am doing
TimeZone.setDefault(TimeZone.getTimeZone("EST"));
I have mentioned in my second post what results it shows for getDefaults.
I know its very strange ,the dates gets one day behind immedately only in the view class not in the servlet or the factory class.
Please let me know if I need to post some more data .

WPC Content showing error after portal upgrade to 7.3

Recently we have upgraded our portal from 7.0 to 7.3.We have WPC contents on our portal its was fine till upgrade.After upgrade we are facing issues in all the WPC content.I reproduce the issue and checked the NWA log i could see the below logs.

Can't start UCSM after java upgrade

After I have been recommended to upgrade to newest java, I can't start UCS Manager anymore.
I try from a Windows 7 64 Bits computer and a Windows 8 64 Bits computer.
Same error.
As you see, I have java 1.7.0_07. It is higher than the reguirement.
UCSM version is 2.0(2q)
Because there is some security issues with earlier java versions, I don't want to downgrade.
Do anyone have any solution on this problem?
I have uninstalled every version of Java, and just installed the newest, but it didn't help

For you to use 1.7 you need to have UCSM version 2.0.3a and above.

At this point, the only option for you is to downgrade back to a 1.6 version.

Upload error after nw upgrade

Hi,
actually we upgraded NetWeaver from 6.4 to 7.0 with Dialog-Instances (Distributed Installation) using Microsoft Windows Server. Like described in the Upgrade Guide we reinstalled the DI.
Now we've got a problem while uploading of Documents using the DI. I get the following error message:
"MyFile.gif" does not exist, or file is empty; you cannot upload empty files.
In other Threads there's explained to follow up SAP Note 898637
- I have added the java-parameter using config tool
- I have given Full-Access-Right on C:\Windows\temp for SAPService<SID>
- Additional I have created E:\EP_Temp with the adviced permissions.
- I have modified the "temp" and "tmp"-path in the System-Environment-Variables to "E:\EP_Temp"
... or shall I logon as SAPService<SID> and set this path to "tmp" and "temp" especially for this user?
Please give me some advice what else to look for!

after applying SAP Note 898637 restart the windows machine.
and also provide write access to SAPservice<sid> for that folder
no need to login with SAPservice<sid>
