Upon deployment, an warning message "MDB application is NOT connected to messaging system" occurs on the weblogic 10 console for one of the MDBs. In log file you can find the following message:
<Oct 27, 2009 4:35:15 PM EDT> <Warning> <EJB> <BEA-010061> <The Message-Driven EJB: FaxNotificationBean is unable to connect to the JMS destination: com.foo.jms.FaxReplyQueue. The Error was:

The following is the annotations of the MDB in workshop.
@ForeignJmsProvider(connectionFactoryJndiName = "com.foo.jms.FaxConnectionFactory")
@JndiName(remote = "com.foo.faxmgr.ejb.FaxNotificationBean")
@MessageDriven(defaultTransaction = MessageDriven.DefaultTransaction.NOT_SUPPORTED,

ejbName = "FaxNotificationBean",
durable = Constants.Bool.FALSE,
transTimeoutSeconds = "0",
destinationType = "javax.jms.Queue",
initialBeansInFreePool = "1",
maxBeansInFreePool = "10"
I googled and found the same questions asked before but no working answers. Does anybody know what's wrong with my MDB? BTW, it works the same way in weblogic 8.4 platform.
I even tried to add resource refs as below but the same warning message is still there. TIA.

)Hi,
We have had this same issue and the problem was diagnosed as a Oracle listener.ora issue with the OIM database connection not beining configured to use it's 1522 connection but using the default 1521 so it was just sat there not knowing that it's port should be 1522.

We've set 60 min as session timeout and AM pool parameters also high (<AM-Pooling jbo.ampool.maxinactiveage="1200000" jbo.ampool.initpoolsize="25" jbo.ampool.maxpoolsize="1000" jbo.recyclethreshold="50" jbo.ampool.maxavailablesize="50" jbo.ampool.minavailablesize="25"/>) in our application due to requirements. Any idea why this exception thrown ? Is this because of weblogic server connections cleanup or something to do with connections? As per my understanding , JDBC connection will not be released when AM is active/managed mode. Oracle Doc says
" That application module instance holds onto the JDBC connection object that it acquired from the pool until the application module instance is removed from the application module pool."jbo.ampool.maxinactiveage is set to 20 min which means that If AM in the pool is inactive for 20 min then clean this AM in the next cycle (still that is not our case). We also set jbo.recyclethreshold="50" means 50 AMs can exists in the pool with managed-state. We set these because of performance reasons. As per my understanding, AM instance will be deleted (????) but in any action on the UI will pick up another instance of the AM because datacontrolframe is still valid in the session. Do we have any best practice like jbo.ampool.maxinactiveage should be equal to session time out?. The error seems AM lost the underlying JDBC connection and somehow application is using that stale AM ?. what will be possible reason?.

Adobe cloud application manager - can not connect to internet
To ADOBE - The Adode cloud Order no is DSSY006786009DT and is current
The Adobe cloud application manager - can not connect to internet even though there is internet connection and says it might be time zone error but that is correct - Sydney Australia
Question:
1. Is anybody else having this problem
2. How do we fix
I already changed the time zone east coast US - did not change anything
Could it be a corrupt program - thus requiring to reinstall program Application manager
I am using Windows 7.
It has been like it for ten days - It asks to log in everytime I turn computer on
All programs in Creative Cloud work
Any suggestions and solution
Online help and phone help had no solutions other than what I suggested - that is reload application manager
Thanks for help

Maybe that was your problem. -
Application module is not connected to a database
Using JDev 11.1.1.3
I have an application that uses EJB and i have an application that uses business components. The EJB app needs to integrate some parts from the BC application so i package the BC model in a jar file and use it in my EJB to create some records.
This is some code that i execute in my EJB to create a new record using the BC jar:
ApplicationModule module = Configuration.createRootApplicationModule("bcApp.model.MyModuleImpl", "MyModuleLocal");
am = (MyModuleImpl)module;
BillDefImpl billDef = (BillDefImpl)BillImpl.getDefinitionObject();
bill = (BillImpl)billDef.createInstance2(am.getDBTransaction(), null);
//set some attributes
EntityDefImpl billLineDef = BillLineImpl.getDefinitionObject();
BillLineImpl billLine = (BillLineImpl)billLineDef.createInstance2(am.getDBTransaction(),null);
billLine.setBill(bill);
//set some attributes
am.getTransaction().commit();The weird behavior of this is that the first time i call this code, everything is working just fine. Both the bill and billLine are created in the database. No error shows up in the console.
When i try to do the exact same in the same session, i get the "Application module is not connected to a databas" error. When i open a new session, everything is working fine again.
I also tried using the am.getDBTransaction().commit(); instead of the getTransaction.
Can anybody tell me what could cause this kind of behavior? Am i doing something wrong?
Edited by: Yannick Ongena on Sep 5, 2011 7:31 AMSorry, just a typo. I modified the classes/package for this post.
I also did some more testing and it appears to be EJB related. The code i provided above is called from an EJB. When I execute the code from a managed bean, i don't get this error when i execute it a second time.
Maybe also useful info. My application module uses a JNDI data source that is configured on the weblogic server. -
JBO-25200: Application module is not connected to a database
Using JDev 9.0.3.
I am receiving the following error when running my app through JDevloper's embedded OC4J:
JBO-25200: Application module is not connected to a database.
The error is happening when I execute the following line(s) of code:
// holds the ViewObject RowSet
RowSet accessTypeRS = PersonalInfoForm.getAccessTypeRS();
if (accessTypeRS != null) {
if (accessTypeRS.getEstimatedRowCount() > 0) {
accessTypeRS.setRangeSize(-1);
I receive the error when trying to execute the setRangeSize method. However, several prior attempts caused the error at the line above (getEstimatedRowCount)
I am using connection pooling with a datasource and I'm retrieving an application module through the app module pool.
jbo.doconnectionpooling is set to true.
Disconnect ApplicationModule upon release is checked.
Any ideas on why and how this is happening?
Thanks!

Please post test steps using the BC4J tester or a test script that illustrates the issue against a simple table. Otherwise, it is extremeley difficult to debug/diagnose the issue on this forum.
I have not seen this issue in any of the automated unit test scripts that exercise the ApplicationModule pooling.

Hey sergioo9,
Thanks for the question. Based on what you stated, it seems like you are having trouble signing into Messages on OSX. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

A solution would be nice, or any app that shows live tile updates if we get a fb message .Not sure if there can be any updates as it is a part of the core OS. Have you checked that your network carrier settings are correct and that if you have Flight Mode on and usign it thru WiFi, that it works ok that way?

How do I resolve a "printer not connected" error message?
Dear Mac Community,
For the better part of a year I have printed flawlessly to my HP Color LaserJet CP4020 on my home wireless network. Recently I upgraded to OS X 10.8.4 and now when I print, the queue stalls and I receive the following error message, "The printer is not connected."
Here is what I have tried so far to resolve the issue but to no avail:
Downloaded and installed the latest HP firmware and software drivers
Deleted the printer and added it again in Preferences>Print & Scan
And, of course, the above noted bullet point is the rub: If the printer were not connected to my wireless network then it would be unable to be added! But since I can add the printer, my OS is definitely seeing the printer on the network.
After the above diagnostics I tried printing from native Mac OS apps (e.g. TextEdit) and non-native apps (e.g. Microsoft Word), and both worked.
Then they stopped.
Then they would print after several minutes of delay (e.g. a single sentence Text Edit test print page took over a minute and a five sentence Word document took over 5 minutes).
Then they stopped.
And now I cannot print anything!
In case it helps, my specifications are as follows:
MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8.4 with 8 GB RAM, 500 GB HD, 75 GB available HD space
HP Color LaserJet CP4020, Firmware v.20120112 07 .111.0, Software Driver v. 9.4
Any help anyone could provide would be GREATLY appreciated.
Sincerely,
RandyLaunch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select "/var/log/cups/error_log" from the file list on the left side of the Console window. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the time of the last failed printing attempt. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion. -
Fix for "Not Connected" Error Messages When Trying to Access Web Services
If you run across an error message on your printer stating that it is "Not Connected" when trying to access ePrint or your Apps, but you know it is connected to the internet, it probably just means that the printer is not connecting to the server properly.
Here is the first set of steps I would try, since they seem to resolve this issue half of the time.
The first thing I would try in this situation is a network reboot.
First, disconnect the power cord from the back of your router.
Next disconnect the power cord from either the back of the printer or the wall, without powering it off first.
Wait about 30 seconds and reconnect the power cord to your router.
Wait about another 30 seconds and plug the printer back in. It should boot back up automatically, but if it doesn't go ahead and press the power button.
Once everything is back up and running, try to access ePrint or your Apps.
If those steps don't work for you, the next thing would be setting a Static IP & DNS for the printer. Before doing this, you want to print off a network configuration page. It varies from model to model, but it is usually found under the Wireless Settings or under Reports in the Setup menu. After you have that page, follow these steps.
Before we start, we need a network configuration page with your current connection settings. To get this, press the wireless button on the front of your printer and then press "Print Info" or "Print Report". This will print off a network configuration page, which has information on it that we need to complete the next few steps.
After you have that, we will need to access the printers Embedded Web Server (EWS). You can do so by entering the printers IP address (from the network configuration page) into your browsers address bar and pressing enter.
Once there, press the "Network" tab at the top of the page. From there you will want to click the "IPv4" button, located on the lef-hand side of the page. It will be there for WIreless and Wired, so make sure to click the one for you however you are connected. If you do not see "IPv4", you should see "Networking", press that and then press "Network Address(IP)".
Next, you will want to click the small round button next to "Manual IP Address" and then fill in the boxes for IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway, using the information found on the network configuration page.
For the Primary or Preffered DNS Server, you will want to enter 8.8.8.8.
For the Secondary or Alternate DNS Server, you will want to enter 8.8.4.4.
Click apply and when the message pops up saying that the changes have been applied, press "OK".
Press the power button on your printer, wait for it to fully power off and then press it again to power it back on.
After doing this, go ahead and try to enable ePrint again.
-------------How do I give Kudos? | How do I mark a post as Solved? --------------------------------------------------------
This question was solved.
View Solution.The reason we recommend using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the DNS server is because they work when ISP assigned DNS servers do not. The DNS server assigned to you by your ISP is not able to resolve the domain for web services, therefore not allowing the printer to connect.
I assure you that it is with your ISP's DNS server and not the printer. If you were to take the printer back to the store and get a replacement, you would have the same issue, unless you changed the DNS. Same goes for any of our web service enabled printers.

I installed the ABAP Stack Sneak Preview Netweaver.I see all the relevant NSP entries in my Services file.But when i disconnect my internet I see in SAP MMC that Disptacher says its running but not connected Message Server(turns yellow) and also the SAP gets logged off. Is Internet connection required for running NSP(ABAP System SID)??

Project not connected error message, when trying to Generate DDL on NWDS
Hello,
I created EJB project with Java Persistence Facets.
2 Entities created in the EJB to Generate as Data base table on the Java dictionary project.
The connection works OK (I can ping to the JD project).
But when I tried to Generate DDL and build the table structure on the JD project I received the error message: EJB project not connected.
Has someone came across this issue?
Thanks for the help.

Thread: Application sever is not connecting to the database
Oracle Production DB is :9i, UNIX Aix 5.2
Application server :10g, Os: win 2008
Application server : Mendix Application server.
Error:Error: ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01882: timezone region not found
: Can't create a new connection for jdbc:oracle:thin:@<xxx.xx.x.xx>:1521:ABCDEF : ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01882: timezone region not found
Here Application is running fine, But when we are trying to connect to the 9i production server through jdbc connection its throwing error as i told.
I was set timezone same on both databases and on machines also. Even though it is giving same error
Here application server machine time is same but time zone is different like time is 12.11 in all machines but time zone is UTC+04:00, Abudhabi, Muscat where as in databases '+04:00' UNK. Here i was tried to change the time zone of Application server, but it was not having +04:00,UNK
So please tell me what exactly need to do to sync the database from 10g db of Mendix application server to 9i production database.
Its urgent...pls
Regards
