MDB linked to a queue of different cluster ?

          Hi,
Is it possible to deploy an MDB in cluster-1 and in deployment descriptor specify
a queue belonging to a different cluster say cluster-2. I want to avoid bridge.
          thanks
          saurabh

I found that it can be done by specifying provider-url in deployment descriptor.
          thanks

  • Can different cluster  of SAP Business One installed on the same Server

    Hi!
Can anyone tell me if B1 different cluster version installed and run on the same server. Example B1 2005A AND B1 2005B. If it can, could you please include the procedure how can it be done.
    Thanks,
    Jo Borlagdan

No, A and B have different patch cycles - so there would be conflicts in SBO-Common. Therefore it will not work.
You could try to workaround that with named instances of MSSQL, but installation & update would need additional care + workarounds.
The best way to combine 2 SAP Business One cluster "servers" but still on one hardware would be to use a tool like VMWare... - but such a configuration has not been released by SAP - i.e. if there's an issue that could be traced back to the VMWare system, SAP might not be (li?)able to fix it
    Sorry,

BTW: Please note that you need to think eventually about conflicts with MS licenses. SAP has an agreement with MS which ASFAIK covers the license for 1 VMWare Windows system on 1 Windows PC so that we can use WMWare for SAP Business One sandbox systems - after RAM upgrades () it works fine...

    (1) your title ask the way to link different spreadsheets.
In Numberland, a spreadsheet is an entire document.
There is no way to link different documents.
    (2) in the message, you ask the way to link different tables.
This feature is available and is described in iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide (which is available for free from the Help menu).

  • Re-link/pin audio to a different clip

I have a sequence of video clips which go to music. The sequence is complete, with the audio timing working with all the clips.
Now, I want to swap the positions of two clips. The problem is that the audio track, happens to be pinned to one of these video clips. If I move one of the clips, they swap perfectly, except the audio shifts as well because it moves with the clip its pinned to. Besides manually moving the audio back to where it should be, is there a way to leave the audio alone when I do this?
I imagine it would be an easy fix if I could simply re-link the audio to a different video clip first. However, I can't find any feature along these lines. The audio seems stubbornly locked to the one clip its originally pinned to.
Thanks in advance, I'm sure there's an option to do this somewhere.

If I understand correctly, you have video clips in the primary storyline, and an audio clip connected to one of those clips.
It is easy to keep everything in sync and change two clips.
All you have to do is change the connection point of the audio clip. This is done by command-option clicking the audio clip at the desired connnection point.
Another easy way to do this is to hold down the grave key ` when dragging the clips that you want to switch.
FWIW, in this type of project it is probably better to put the audio in the primary storyline and connect the video to the audio - optionally making the video into a secondary storyline.

  • Issue listeneing queue from Weblogic Cluster server with multiple managed server

Haveing issue listeneing queue from Weblogic Cluster server with multiple managed server.
    Weblogic Cluster structure is like
    Weblogic Cluster01
      --ManagedServer01(http://server01.myhost.com:7001)
      --ManagedServer02(http://server02.myhost.com:7001)
    JMS Servers
      JMSserver01 targeting: ManagedServer01
      JMSserver02 targeting: ManagedServer02
      JMSmodule
      ConnectionFactory01 targeting:JMSserver01,JMSserver02
      UDQueue01 targeting:JMSserver01,JMSserver02
Uniform Distributed Queue in Monitoring tab showing like this
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver01@UDQueue01
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver02@UDQueue01
So when I am sending message to any Host(by specifying the provider URL) its distributing equally on both server like
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver01@UDQueue01 10
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver02@UDQueue01 10
But when try to listen message from these queue, it is listening from one server, for which URL given to connect.
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver01@UDQueue01 0
      mysystemmodule!JMSserver02@UDQueue01 10
untill I connect to other server by giveing its URL, will not able to access other message left on the queue.
    Solutions that tried
      1) we have tried give both server URL coma sparated in provider URL
we need to configur same scenario for 5 managed server with 3 listener on other servers.
Do any one have solution for this.

    You need to have:
    1. Consumers connected to each UDQ member
    OR
    2. If no consumers in some of the members is expected, you can configure Forward Delay (specify the amount of time, in seconds, that a queue member with messages, but with no consumers, will wait before forwarding its messages to other queue members that do have consumers):
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_modules/distributed_queues/ConfigureUDQGeneral.html
For example you can set it to 10 (10s)

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:
    http://www.adwaremedic.com/kb/baddns.php
    http://www.adwaremedic.com/kb/hackedrouter.php
If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

  • Need help with linking a word to a different slide.

I have made a table of contents on this document clickable (linking a word to a different slide in the presentation) So you can click on any of the words and it will take you to that page. The problem is when I open the document it is at the correct magnification - say 75% for easy reading. But when you click on a word in the table of the contents to take you to a different page - it changes the magnification to a smaller size (53% or 63%)
I need to know if we can keep it from doing that.
So we can have every page no matter what you click on easily read and viewed without having to change the magnification every time.

I have been able to get this far (ofcourse explained very well step by step in these posts). So MDB on WLS can pick messages from a Queue on MQ Server on the same machine.
If someone can highlight what <font face="tahoma,verdana,sans-serif" size="1" color="#000">changes</font> I have to make to get the MDB to pick message from the Queue when MQ Server is on a different machine.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Distributed queue usage with custom queue listeners in cluster

    Hi,
Can someone help in solving the issue. We have a web application which will create consumers(threads in infinite loop) for an inbound queue(name comes from DB table) and after doing certain process result will be pushed to outbound queue(name comes from DB table).
When application runs in single managed server(without clustering) every thing works fine.
If I want to deploy the same application in two managed servers (with are under same cluster) which talks to same DB how to handle above scenario
    1. Create 2 JMS servers one on each managed server(on different machines)
    2. Create queue one for each JMS server
    3. Create distributed queue and add above two queues as members of it
    4. Create connection factory and target it to cluster
After creating above instrastructure(similar infrastructure will be created for inbound and outbound queue), can I use distributed queue JNDI name to create listeners(threads) to read messages? Or do I need to create listeners for each individual member in the distributed queue?
I know that while sending message to distributed queue, I can create sender on distributed queue and weblogic automatically takes care of sending the message to appropriate member in the DQ, but how it works for distributed queue?
Also, want to know how can I access distributed queue? For example, if managed server 1 is accessed by http://10.11.134.24:7001 and managed server 2 is accessed by http://10.11.134.25:7001. which URL I need use in JNDI context provider URL to access distributed queue? can I use any URL will it make any difference?
Generally for servlets/JSPs we create proxy server to access it through cluster, instead of directly using managed server URLs. But how it works for distributed queue?
    Thanks

              Yes.
It turns out that if replicate local queue jndi name in cluster is set to false
the message did not get forward :(

Posting the actual error helps. This error usually occurs due

  • Different queues in different systems - why?

    hello together,
we have a qualitiy system and productiv system. We send messages (> 1000 in a short time to test queuing) through every system. The Q systems uses only 2 instances of the queues, the productiv system uses 5. The systems have the same amount of messages.
My question is: Who or what decides how many instances of queues are used for a message? Can i setup this manually (amount of instances)?
    many thanks
    alex

    Hi,
The queue system enables one to control the flow of messages and been decided while installing or by the basis person.
The number of queues vary accordingly to the different instances of production, development and quality or might be same.
For asynchronous messages, whre u want Exactly once in order, the queue can be single while for other messages you are enabling parallel procession.
Just like the cluster node available in Adapter engine framework, same concept works for queue in SAP.

  • Many consumers on a queue, with different selctor, 2 in an HA configuration

    Hi all,
I have a question about one queue and some (3) consumers. I have one queue and three consumers (clients) connected to the same queue. Let' s call the consumer: A, B, C. All of these with selectors, connecting a SunOne MQ 3.5 SP2, 4 brokers cluster. Let's define the nature of the A, B, C client consumers:
Client A and B have the same selector and should work in a high availability configuration, so that if A fails, B will take its place, and viceversa: if A is running, B will not.
On the same queue of A and B I have another consumer, we will call it "C", that has a selector that is different from A and B (we said A and B have the same selector). So only A and B have to be in failover-safe configuration. I have not configured any backup consumers, all are active. What will happen is this case in your opinion ? Will I be able to see working the A and B failover configuration and independently the C one simultaneosuly ? I mean A or B and C all of them running fine ?
    Thanks for your assistance.
    Stefano.

A selector should not lock messages onto a queue. Is that what you are seeing? A selector should filter the messages from the destination, so that only a subset with the corresponding messages with the proper qualifiers would be visible to the consumer.
in a network failover scenario for A or B, does C continue to receive ?C should not be impacted by A or B
I mean if a consumer crashes on the network, and maybe it is not correctly unregistered from the brokers, am I sure that other consumer (with may be) a different selector (the C), continues to get its own messages ? The broker sends a ping to the clients to see who's still alive. So worst case scenario, is that if the consumer that crashed has still messages reserved in its buffer (according to the flow controls) when the broker detects the crash, it will free the messages to be consumed by other consumers.
should I ensure a low flow limit to be sure that no lock situation can occur or just endure for a short time ?A flow limit that is too high would cause the messages to be consumer unevenly by the consumers, not lock the messages.
    Just a small detail here....
The selector on a connection is set at the connection initialisation time. The selector's value is then transferred to the broker. The broker can then use the selectors to send messages to the consumers, according to their selectors that they have set. So in the flow limit "batch" a consumer will never have a message that he can't process because of its selector. So, if a flow limit is too high, the message processing will simply be slower, but making full usage of all the consumers connected to the brokers to load balance the message processing.
