Hi,
Trying to add a new Entity with couple Process Attributes that will help route Workflow/ send emails.
After adding & activating the Data model, I am trying to create a new UIBB to capture the fields. chose the Feeder Class- CL_MDG_BS_MAT_FEEDER_FORM . (Wondering if I should copy the feeder class and modify to show the structure I am trying to show on the
UIBB?). Added Node and Entity type. (I see it under Transaction MDB )
But I get this error.
Error in MP: The metadata definition of node 'ZMDGM_PA' (ABBID: MDG_MAT) is insufficient - node data type missing
I have looked at the HTG for adding New Entities. But since I am not replicating the new Entity, I skipped some steps where it enhances the structure MDG_BS_MAT_S_MAT_DATA.

If the fields are only for workflow routing, you should not enhance the data model. Please refer to this document on how to extend the CR header and use the new CR header fields for workflow routing: Enhancement of the User Interface Building Block for Change Requests

I can create section endnotes in Pages, no problem. When I export to epub, the notes are all there and the links work perfectly, but the numbers run continuously throughout the document. Is it possible to create section endnotes in Pages that will survive the epub export?

I am trying to make thumbnails in iPhoto on an iPad. I need to save the thumbnail to my photos on the iPad in order to be able to upload it to a website, as the only choice is to take a photo or using an existing photo. I would appreciate any help.

Is this an iPhoto for Mac question? If so select the photo(s), export (file menu ==> export) to a desktop folder using the size options available during export and upload from that folder
or an iPhoto for IOS (on your iPad) question? If so post on the iPhoto for IOS forum.

Setting a preffered network - that will stay my freffered one !!

im trying to figure how to set up a preffered network. i have my home network and several others showing in the list.
the thing is, that everytime im closing my mac, it connects to a different network rather than my home netwrok and i have to manually change it back which is annoying for me to do
is there a way to make it understand that my home netwrok is the first one to try to connect to?
*my home is encrpypted with WEP (which i dont have to enter every time, it know it allready - and the one it is trying to connect before that, is an unsecured one, thats another thing to know)

Might be a corrupt preference file. The only one I know is in User>Preferences>By Host>Com.Apple.Airport.Agent. I'd be happier if it was a .plist though. You can try removing it to the desktop. Log out/in again and see if that helps. You may need to enter your network info again. If not just put it back and replace whatever's there if asked.

Can I have a modular audio player that will stay in one area while the user browses other parts of the book?

I would like a jukebox type of audio player and would hope it can stay perhaps in the top or bottom inch of the screen. I would like this to not be affected by which page or chapter one navigates too.

How do I write a vi that will save graph data and text data (related to the graph) so the next time I want to view the graph data the text data is included in the read vi?

I am new at writing vi's and hope you may be able to help. I would like to create a vi that will graph measurements taken from a daq device. I would like to include text data that a user can choose from (example: machine number, test circuit, load cell type) that will stay with the graph so when the graph is viewed at a later time the text data (explaining parts of the graph) will display with the graph data. I have included a vi I am using to capture and display a force value. Any help would be greatly appreicated.

What you want is a DATALOG file:
When you save a file, use the BUNDLE function to bundle your machine number, test circuit, whatever (include a few spare fields), plus your graph data. Get the graph data from the source, or use a local variable of the graph itself.
Wire the bundle output to the DATALOG TYPE of a NEW FILE function. (I presume you'll use a FILE DIALOG set to SAVE FILE to choose a file path).
Write the same bundle output to the DATA input of a WRITE FILE function.
Use a CLOSE FILE function to (ahem) close the file.
When you want to read a file, use a FILE DIALOG set to EXISTING FILE (or some other means) to specify what file to read. Wire the same cluster type to the DATALOG TYPE of the FILE DIALOG, so that it will only
offer files of the correct type.
When you have a file path chosen, wire the bundle to the DATALOG TYPE input of a FILE OPEN operation.
Use a FILE READ to read a single cluster - the output of FILE READ will be a cluster of the right type.
Use a CLOSE FILE function to....
Out of the FILE READ function, you can UNBUNDLE BY NAME the data and send to the graph and the other fields, or, if you're clever, you can use a cluster on the screen, and not unbundle it. That's harder though, since you probably want the text fields to be controls (inputs) and the graph to be an indicator (output).

Margin that will push content to the bottom of page..

Hello again!
This time I'm trying to make a footer that will stay on the bottom of the page even when there is little content. But when there is a lot of content I don't want it to stick to the bottom of the browser window even when I scroll down. My solution was to give the container some kind of margin to push the footer down but I don't know what. A sort of "liquid" footer? Is this even possible?

I added an Interactions button and in the Actions on Success I open an URL or file. I have placed the video on our web server. Use an Airport Express. Configure the AEBS to allow it's wireless network to be extended. This is a dropdown menu option under the Wireless tab. Configure the Airport Express to Extend an Existing Network also under it's Wireless tab. You will need to provide the name of your network used in the AEBS as well as the network's access password.

Read Only Entity Bean will not cache

I'm using the Sun Java Application Server version 8.2. I've created a read only entity bean with a 900 second refresh. This bean has a findAll() method that I've created. The table it is reading from has only 22 rows of data that doesn't change (well, maybe 2 or 3 times a year).
As stated I've set the read-only property to true and the refresh to 900 seconds. I've also set the caching settings, which I guess i don't really need to mess with from the defaults.
I do not seem to be achieving any caching at all. My check for this is very simple. I simply load a drop down in the client application with these 22 values. After the intial load I add another row in the database. The newley added row always shows up in the drop down in real time. If i'm caching correctly I shouldn't see this value until the refresh time of 900 seconds. Is there something I am missing? I'm using NetBeans 5.0 to set the values of the entity beans and such.

The 8.2 read-only bean implementation still executes non-findByPrimaryKey queries within the database.
If your application calls findByPrimaryKey or accesses a business method on one of the
read-only beans returned from a query, that will not result in a database access (unless a refresh
period boundary is crossed).
We have added the additional optimization of caching specific result sets of non-findByPrimaryKey
read-only bean finders in the latest development version of Glassfish (V2).

It will also be available in our Application Server release 9.1. There are no plans to backport this

I'm trying to transfer music from iTunes on an old PC (Windows Vista Home Basic) that uses an external storage device to store the files to a new PC (Windows 7 Starter) that will use that same external storage device. I am also dealing with the new iTunes 11. How can I accomplish this successfully? What folder does iTunes use to store the data in? I've tried several things. Home Sharing caused duplicates but not all songs or apps transfered. It is a large library! I've tried just setting the path in the Advanced Tab of iTunes preferences of the new computer with the external drive connected the same as the path when the external drive is connected to the old computer. This was the best solution so far but still a few artists missing and some apps. Any suggestions?

Here are typical layouts for the iTunes folders:
With iTunes 11 you might also have a Home Videos folder inside iTunes Media.
In the simplest cases you copy the entire iTunes folder from <User's Music> on the source computer to <User's Music> on the target machine, install iTunes, and it "just works"TM.
If the media folder (inside the red outline) has been split out to a separate location then you can copy the library folder (outside the red outline) as before and connect the drive holding the media so that it has exactly the same path as before. If the drive appears as D: on one system and E: on the other then the library won't be able to find the media.
The crucial file is iTunes Library.itl - this contains a record of the tracks that have been added to the library, ratings, play counts, playlists etc.

Burning a video to DVD that will default to opening at actual size.

Hi. I am burning a widescreen (16:9) SD video to dvd using DVD Studio Pro 4. The video has been exported from FCP6 using compressor. The quality is fine and the aspect ratio has been retained for viewing (letterboxed) on a 4:3 CRT and also on a widescreen display. Is there any way, through encoding, that I can force the video, by default, to open at actual size on a widescreen computer display rather than full screen? I realize that the viewer can exit from fullscreen mode and select "actual size" in DVD Player, but if possible, I would like the video to begin playing at actual size without any adjustments having to be made. My concern is that some viewers will not bother to exit fullscreen mode and will view the video at a size not supported by its resolution. It's a video of a photographer's stills and at a display size larger than actual size, the sharpness of the images is compromised. Any way to get around this other than adding some text advising the viewer to watch the video at actual size or redoing the whole thing in HD?

Not possible. There's nothing in the DVD Video specification that provides for this.
There are settings available in the Preferences menu for Apples's DVD Player that can be set to do this, but no way to put information on a disc that will override those settings.

Is there an iPad app that will let me read a pdf be able to type notes that I can save as a separate plain text file?

In researching a subject, I would like to be able to read several pdfs in succession and keep adding to a text document where I keep notes.
I have seen iPad apps that will let you mark up a pdf, but I would like to have one text file that I keep all my typed notes as a compilation on a subject.
desirable but not critical:
Ideally a split screen where you can have see the pdf and your notes at the same time.
It would be even better if you could copy and paste text from pdf into the note.
It would be great if you could copy a figure into the note (as I can do w/ la partial screen capture on my mac laptop)
I welcome your suggestions if you know of any iPad apps that you think would be useful for the above.

Go to settings> general and scroll down to multitasking geastures, turn them on and by swiping with four fingers from the right side of the iPad to the left and back you can switch between apps. I think this is what you need I'm not sure, I hope it helps

The idea is to have pages added like it is on Facebook, when a member signs up.
