MDIS setting For SRM product ID

Hi Guys,
I am using standard PI content CatalogUpdateNotification_Out to transfer the product id Data from SRM to MDM.
I have the XML file in the _MDMProductDataTransmission\Ready folder.
My requirement
1. I need to map only product id field into some Check table in MDM product id
2. I need to automate it in MDIS so that the file is processed automatically.
Please let me know how I do the above 2 requirements

Still i am not clear about my doubt, is there any difference betn Product category & Category ID.
Because in Org structure >> under ext attributes tab we have option to enter the product category & when we create material using commpr01, we need to enter Category ID.
And when we create a shopping cart, we need to give the details of Product category & Product ID
looking for the help.

Message no. CK322
Diagnosis
Automatic account determination could not find a consumption account with the following criteria:
Chart of accounts : GCOA
Transaction : GBB
Valuation/acct modification : Z001/ZOF
Material/valuation class : RMBSP00000005 /3002
Procedure
Check the Customizing settings for account determination.
Solution :
for the above problem make the following setting :
OBYC -> GBB ->
add one entry for new GL a/c to acct modification ( ZOF ) with valuation class ( 3002)
2.Costing items for material FGEEM00000007 in plant 1000 without cost element.
Message no. CK597
Diagnosis
The itemization for material FGEEM00000007 in plant 1000 contains valuation-relevant items without a cost element.
System Response
The costs of these item(s) cannot be included in the cost component split. This means that there will be inconsistencies between the cost component split and the itemization.
Procedure
Check the log for further system messages for material FGEEM00000007 in plant 1000. Correct the error and carry out costing again.
Solution:
GO to OKTZ and in the Structure Check whether the Cost Element for MAterial
Consumption has been assigned in the Itemization or not.
I think it will resolve your issue . If any problem pl revert.

Service base IV flag need to be set for SRM PO u2013 SRM 7.0 Extended classic

We are on SRM 7.0 Extended classic scenario - business have following requirement with Service PO
Invoice need to be posted with reference to conformation (SES) u2013 While creating a service PO when user maintain GR required flag , u201CConfirmation-Based Invoice Verificationu201D flag get automatically set but when PO replicated in ECC, it has only GR base IV flag ticked and not the Service base IV which is required from Invoicing perspective
On SRM PO unlike ECC PO there is only provision to maintained GR base IV and not SR base IV. So how can we achieve this
Can we do it via BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI.
Note : SR base IV flag cannot be maintained in Vendor master in ECC because of business constrain so it has to be pass from SRM PO only

Make some tests using R/3 BAdI BBP_PO_INBOUND_BADI.
Nevertheless, only BBP_MAP_BEFORE_BAPI method has field SRV_BASED_IV in changing parameter BAPI_POITEM.

Best video setting for music production?

I am getting set up with my new MBP15 2.53 with 4GB of RAM. Have a question -- my most intense application is music production in Logic Studio. I always have the power cord connected when using it and am not currently using an external monitor.
Will it make any difference in Logic's ability to handle MANY tracks which internal video card I use? Does the enhanced card put less or more drag on the system if you are not gaming?

It shouldn't make any difference one way or another. On the face of it, using the integrated GFX would obviously consume some of the available RAM, but it turns out that it doesn't matter whether the integrated GPU is active or not; that RAM gets allocated to the GPU anyway (even when using the discrete GPU).
The issue of whether or not physical RAM is being allocated to the integrated GPU is the only issue that could possibly have any bearing. Since it is always allocated, it makes no difference.

Credit Limit set for Product wise

We have a requirement of Customer credit limit has to set at Product ( Material) level , can it be achieved through FSCM Credit Management .
Say Customer A has Deal with Product X and Product Y , Product X credit Limit : 100000 , B = 200000 overall 300000 for Customer A.

As I discribed in example , Sales is to Single Customer , but sales contain multiple products . As a Business Credit Policy , we required to set up credit limit for each product wise to the same customer .

Fully approve and release the contract. It will trigger the XML Message.

How to make JOB CONTROL setting for delta extraction in Production system .

We are in the process to transport our development to PD server in BI . We have transported the data sources to ECC production and now we are filling the setup table for " SD BILLING BW " . After filling Setup table data in full mode through infoPackage we have to load data in delta mode .
How we can set our Update mode(LBWE setting) in PD server ?
Is LBWE T.Code authorisation required in ECC PD server to make the setting of Update mode or We have to set all Job Control Paramater in Dev System at the time of transport the datasource request to ECC production . Is our time which is set in job control of ECC development will be reflected in ECC production ?
can any body tell me about how to make setting for delta extraction in Production system .

How do you load the data in the development system?
- you set up the update mode in the infopackage. There you must customize "Initialization"
- you have to filled the setup table in the production system without laoding the data in the BW? then this step was for nothing. Filling the setup table and do the INIT in the BW, this must be together - during no changing will be done in your R/3 SD.

BC Sets for Product Compliance

Hi guys,
We are looking at option of copying customization table values using BC sets for Product Compliance.
I don't think we can use BC sets for Incident Management and Risk Assessment part.
However I know you can use BC sets for product compliance part so my question is how do we use
BC sets? Any documentation/link or suggestions on what are the steps?

we are not using BC sets. I have only come in touch with them using EHS classic and not EHSM.

PS: you can execute in any case what is known as an "cross transport"; This option should be well known (I assume) as it it one "classical" solution to get one configuraiton from one SAP system to a different one (pay attention: Release status should be the same; but this is true as well for BC sets).

Hello,
Activation of BC set is to facilitate the faster & easier configuration. You have two options :
1. Activation of new BC set will make the necessary changes. e.g if you have activated SC auto approval, run the BC set for 1 level approval, system will make all the changes required.
2. Manually change the configuration based on your requirement. SRM - SRM Server - Cross Application Basic Setting - Business Workflow.
BC sets are generic & might not fulfill all of your requirements. If your requirement is n -level approval, better to build your own expressions & process schema & levels. Take the reference of SAP delivered process levels.

Custom metadata sets for Productions?

I've added a new metadata set that suits our needs, but it is not showing up as an option when creating a new production - is there some option that I missed in order to allow this, or is there a completely different process involved with creating a new metadata set for production folders? Can someone tell me what I missed or walk me through how to do that? Thank you!

Did you make sure to assign the new MD Set to Productions and not Media? If so there must be something else wrong with the way you set it up. Make sure the ID says:
paproductionyourmetadatasetname
If it does not ID this way it will not show in new Productions.

I need to find a mac media set or files for cs3 production premium

My school bought a site license for production premium cs3 and we think a student stole the mac media set. I contacted customer support and they said that they couldn't help us because the version is to old, they instructed me to ask on this forum. Does anyone have a Mac media set of cs3 production premium they could burn and send me or can someone ftp me the files.

If Adobe Customer Support cannot help you, then there is little that we users can do. It would be illegal to copy any of our Adobe programs to disc and send them out.
You might want to look at ProDesign Tools, and see if they have perhaps a download version of PrPro CS3 in their links (think they are all the "trial versions," and those would not help before CS 5, IIRC, as it can be upgraded from trial to full-paid with the insertion of the S/N).
If you only talked to Technical Support, I would contact Customer Support, which is more geared to sales aspects, than T/S.

Exists function- For common products in two sets

I have this below mdx query , where i want the common products that were submitted in december 2014 and present in the following two sets
i) First Set : List of apps which are set by required attribute in ManualReview dimension as "true" ,result attribute is "fail" for them and Submitted date is

ii) Second set : List of products where IsAutopassed is "True" and Submitted date is
December 2014 .

Decimal setting for product

Hi All,
Here for a product price for B2B is comming as 11,435(3 decimals) when ordering in order.jsp. Let me know how to fix this issue.
Note: We are not using IPC.

This apprears while order is created.
But here price is coming in 3 Decimals(eg: 11,456), And the requirement is make it to 2 decimals.
My question would be where to correct this :
1) We are not using IPC, So from where this price is determined. Can we make change at back-end.
2) Where we can make front end changes.

SRM Product / Material creation - Data flow to SAP MDM

Dear SAP friends,
I need your help with 2 issues. Thanks in advance for your collaboration.
Our client needs to create products and make them available to purchase almost immediately.
The scenario we had working for the last 2 years was: product creation in SRM (fields: short description / product category / measure unit), that would then be sent to SAP MDM for data enrichment, through BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG (JOB running every 1 minute). This solution worked well for the last 2 years.
Recently, we are having some problems with this job. We noticed that, sometimes SRM doesn´t send the new products to MDM, and we think it´s a report performance problem. The report doesn´t maintain is normal behavior when executed every 1 minute.
SAP advice is to only run this report once a day. That would obviously require having a minimum time frame of 1 day between product creation and its availability (purchase), which isn´t acceptable in this client business model.
Question 1: Did anyone have a client with similar requirement? What was the implemented solution?
Because of report performance problems, we are running it (BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG) every 5 minutes. It happens that sometimes, more than one catalog manager creates products in that time frame, and MDIS when importing the products to MDM, creates one unique workflow JOB making it impossible to assign it to both catalog managers for enrichment.
Question 2: How can we ensure that SRM sends only one product per xml files sent to XI / PI ? Or, perhaps, ensure that XI / PI splits the xml file sent from SRM into several files with one product each.

In product costing values flows as follows;
In product cost calculation raw material prices are costed which comes from material master in MM01
Product operations: i.e material BOM and master receipe or routings from PP module.From PP module operation costs comes in product costing.
In CO module: In Tcode KP26 we maintain activity\cost center planning for activities like machine hours, set up hours, labour hours etc.Here we define plan quantity and plan prices.
In Cost Sheet (KZS2) we maintain base cost elements & overheads and While order creation we calculate planned cost of that particular material.and then check the variances after getting actual cost of product.
