MDT Redirection to homepage

Hi,
We have migrated from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. In integrated ITS in an MDT report when there is no data for the selection parameters entered in the selection screen, the screen just disappears. While in standalone  ITS when data is not there it is redirecting to home page.
What should I do to redirect to an url (say for eg: sdn.sap.com) when there is no data in integrated ITS. Is it controlled by any settings in the IAC service HRWPC_FC_EXEC?
Any valuable suggestions will be rewarded.
Thanks & Regards,
Soumya.

Hi Soumya,
I am not sure whether you will find help here. This is a more
application specific question.
I would suggest to ask the OSS component 'EP-PCT-MGR-HR'
it seems to be responsible for this package.
Anyway, I saw - using the TA SE80, Internet Service 'HRWPC_FC_EXEC'
a mime type entry called CLOSEWINDOW.HTM, may comparing that to
the 620 installation might be helpful.
Just an idea....
best regards
Tobias

  • User redirected to homepage after re-login to new authscheme

    We define a new authentication scheme and assigned to a iView
    displaying sensitive data. The new scheme has higher priority than the
    default one, so users are required to re-login before accessing the
    iView. Problem is after user re-login, he/she is redirected to portal
    homepage, user has to navigate back to where he/she was to see the
    iView. This creates a big usability problem.
    We would like user to be able to see the iView after re-login, is this
    possible?

    Hi Mike, definitely seems to be an IE security-related options setting on his computer. Have you tried adding the site in his trusted sites list? You may also have to uncheck the "require server verification" box. Also, might need to uncheck
    the "enable protected mode." Last thing to try: check the "automatic logon with user and password."

  • IWeb '09 "redirects" my homepage to another "named page"

    because it redirects to another named page instead of www.mydomain.org/
    it redirects to....
    http://www.thechurchofgodalaska.org/TheChurch_of_God_inAlaska/HomePage.html
    this causes ALL the search engines to NOT find it anywhere! It was coming up on the FIRST page of Google when I was using iWeb '08. Now that I have updated to iWeb '09 none of the search engines can find my page at all.
    Can you help?

    Firstly, where are you publishing your site to? MobileMe or an External server?
    If MobileMe, then how are you re-directing your domain name to your site? Are you using CNAME forwarding or ordinary masked web forwarding?
    iWeb 08 was the same as 09 in this way.
    What you need to do is go back to your domain name registrar and check your domain forwarding settings there to see where it is pointing to. For CNAME it should be just web.me.com and if using web forwarding, then it should be pointing to web.me.com/username/sitename.
    It looks to me as if you have used CNAME forwarding? If this is so, then go and check that your domain is forwarded just to web.me.com and nothing else.
    The forwarding however will always be forwarded to www.domain.org/sitename/pagename, you can't get away from this and if you want anything different then change to masked web forwarding instead - if you do this, then your url will just be www.domain.org for every single page of your site.

  • Redirecting old Homepage to iWeb

    For many years I've had an online library of images made with Homepage. I have now completely remade the site using iWeb and deleted the Homepage. Google however still has a cache of the old pages and Apple returns a 'Page not Found' message if the link is followed.
    So- can I put a page on my iDisk called homepage.mac.com/username/CATCH-ALL to redirect any of those links to my new iWeb site? There were hundreds of photoalbum pages by the way.
    old site- homepage.mac.com/cjbphotography
    new site- web.mac.com/cjbphotography
    G4 Dual, 17" Powerbook, iMac, iPod, and more   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

    the index.html file is basically i a file that can be used to redirect people.
    dan,
    you can download the file - but you will need to edit the file because i have made it specifically for him above. open the index.html file up with textedit. be sure you have the preferences set to "ignore html commands." otherwise you will see a blank file.
    then search for: http://web.mac.com/cjbphotography
    and replace it with your site: http://web.mac.com/username
    and yes, you would have to overwrite the existing file to make the old site be redirected to the new one!

  • Site redirecting to homepage with no CSS

    Hello,
    I am having a major problem and I don't know where to start to fix it. I have just installed wordpress onto my site under /blog/  and it seems every page I click on leads to the homepage without a css file.
    I have looked at the source code for this page and it seems it is because of a mixtur of reletive and non-reletive linking. But I can't figure out why it is going to said page in the first place and how I can fix it. The Wordpress install should be fine as far as I can tell to it leads me to believe it something in the main section of the site. i.e. the part created on Dreamwever.
    http://bit.ly/11NuBoC   - This is the link for the /blog/ page. You will notice that when you click on any link it goes to the page mentioned above.
    And here is the homepage http://bit.ly/18hr4BP
    Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

  • Safari 8 needs two click to load links or send to homepage, only on a website that runs well in other mac or browser: how to reset safari?

    Hello, i'm going crazy with this issue.
    I upgraded to 10.10 my MBP Retina two weeks ago without any problem.
    Yesterday i noticed that one website i mange (e-commerce done with magento) all links, tabs and menù didn't worked.
    Whatever i was clicking I always was redirected to the homepage (Index.php).
    I empty the cache, I canceled the user and passwords connected to this website (public or backend), i removed all data form "privacy" menù....
    nothing...
    I also tried, in development menù, to de-activate "styles" (in Italian we have "stili) that is the template, but i get the sam effect.
    Changed connection, restarted the mac, restarted safari...
    I only noticed one thing: if i make a "double click" on the link, menù, ecc.. it will bring me on the correct page and will keep in
    If i press just one time i see an instant the correct link than a redirect to homepage....
    This happens only with one of my websites, all made with magento, all placed in the same server.
    If i try using chrome or firefox it works well
    If i use my iMac with Yosemite it works well.....
    I'm going crazy... please help me

    I used this method and all seems ok... i hope...
    Is this a virus?

  • Can't figure out URL's

    I am having difficulty understanding something...
    I set up a small application using Spring MVC.
    Here is what's in web.xml:
          <servlet>
                <servlet-name>MySpringServlet</servlet-name>
                <servlet-class>org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet</servlet-class>
         </servlet>
         <servlet-mapping>
              <servlet-name>MySpringServlet</servlet-name>
              <url-pattern>/*.php</url-pattern>
         </servlet-mapping>I am using the Resin server and mapped the application URL to localhost:8080/MyApp
    I have a welcome file: index.jsp and all it does is redirect the request to a new URL, because I am serving the rest of my JSP's from under WEB-INF.
    By the way, is there value in having the JSP under WEB-INF?
    Back to my issue, in index.jsp I redirect like this:
         <body>
              <c:redirect url="/HomePage.php" />
         </body>The Spring controller grabs the "*HomePage.php*" part of the redirect even though when I print the requestURI it comes out as MyApp/HomePage.php
    It then takes me to HomePage.jsp, and this page has a form, but for some reason, in the action attribute of the form, I can't put */processForm.php* - then the container cannot find it.
    Instead, I have to say action="/MyApp/processForm.php".
    Why is it possible to just say /HomePage.php in the redirect from index.jsp, but in the form I must put the MyApp in front?
    Thanks.

    Why is it possible to just say /HomePage.php in the redirect from index.jsp, but in the form I must put the MyApp in front?The tricky bit to get your head around is that "/" can mean different things at the server end and client end.
    At the server end (for RequestDispatcher purposes) "/" refers to your context root - ie: http://localhost:8080/MyApp/
    At the client end, / refers to http://localhost:8080/. The client knows nothing about the "context root" at all.
    So any urls that you generate to your page that use absolute references have to take the context path into account.
    This affects links, redirects, form actions etc - anything that will be executed by the client.
    To answer your question, the difference is the tags you are using.
    The <c:redirect> tag will automagically ADD the application name onto the front of a url.
    So <c:redirect url="/HomePage.php"> will ACTUALLY generate a redirect to /MyApp/HomePage.php. Its part of the tags functionality to do this.
    I am presuming you have
    <form action="/processForm.php">
    Because this is just template text, it won't take the context root into account. So possible solutions to the issue are:
    // hard code it
    <form action="/MyApp/processForm.php">
    // add it onto every url dynamically:
    <form action="<%= request.getContextPath() %>/processForm.php">
    or
    <form action="${pageContext.request.contextPath}/processForm.php">
    // use a tag library to do it for you
    <form action="<c:url value='/processForm.php'/>">
    // use a framework to generate a form tag
    <stripes:form .... >Hopefully that helps you understand the issue a bit more

  • HTTP POST method does not pass parameters to the server

    Hi ,
    I am using SSO using VSJ product and implemented using a filter.
    I have problems as below
    1. Every request to the web server will be intercepted by this vsj filter and if sso does not succeed it will send 403
    2. my system will detect 403 in web.xml and redirect to login page
    3. user key in username and password and log in
    4. after successful login set the HttpSession and redirect to homepage
    Problem is subsquent form submit / ajax call using "POST" method cannot pass any parameters to the servers ( parameters sent using POST will be null in the servers )  ? GET is okay
    If i comment out the vsj filter altogether , everything works as per normal.
    My Question is
    1. Is there anyway to overcome come ?
    2. Is there any method to clear off whatever this sso vsj has set ( clear cookies / start new browser instance / etc ) in order to forget the state
    Any idea?
    Thanks

    Yes.
    here to illustrate
    public MyFilter extends VSJAuthFilter
    *public void doFilter(){*
    *if(session.getAttribute("loginSucces") != true){*
    super.doFilter(); //call VSJ Auth filter to perform SSO in order to get User Principal populated.
    *}else{*
    chain.doFilter(); // normal filter
    My Filter only intercepts *.jsp and *.do
    Basically here is the pattern that i observe
    1. If i hit default url (homepage.do) for the first time it will trigger the super.doFilter() , it will then throw 403 and redirect to login.html , after success and go to homepage , subsequent POST parameter is missing
    2. if i hit the external login page directly just to simulate ( eg : login.html ) it wont trigger this filter , after success and go to homepage , subsequenet POST parameter is okay
    3. GET is always ok
    I am using weblogic server 10.x btw
    Thanks

  • What is appbario8 and what is it for? Should I get rid of it? How? Thanks

    I redirected the homepage back to Google.com. But additional pages go to a generic page. Is it malware? Or just something you guys use?

    Thanks, I did that and it worked. I also uninstalled everything added in the last few days (that caused a couple of legitimate programs to have to re-update, but that was okay). Again, thanks.

  • Concurrent User Sessions in Sharepoint2010 FBA site

    Hi All,
    How do i Restrict concurrent sessions for a single user - SharePoint 2010, its FBA authenticated site.
    Currently i am Using a Application variable that stores User and IP and the array is cleared on sign out and session timeout.
    We are unable to track the session time out easily, i have a httphandler that redirects to Homepage i am clearing the Application variable in the httphandler but i get the object as Null in debug mode.
    I need to implement the same on Window close button click as well to clear the application variable.
    As of now the code is working partially. Any suggestions to do it in a better way or it is not possible in SharePoint to track session start and end and restrict user to have a single session. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards

    hi
    it is impossible to do reliably, this question is raised from time to time. Also I recommend you to double check your architecture: by restricting concurrent user sessions you play against web rules which in most cases is caused by fundamental problem of
    the architecture. Your solution with app variable will work only on all-in-one server, on farm it won't work for example. So I suggest to check architecture instead of continue working in this direction.

  • PrepareRedirect and external URL

    Hi
    I've created a custom service that I would like to redirect to an external url outside UCM but once a user has been authenticated in UCM. Is it possible? It seems that in the prepareRedirect subservice only idcServices are accepted. Does anyone know how to achieve this?
    My service is something like this:
    <td>MY_SERVICE</td>
    <td>Service
    0
    null
    null
    null<br>
    null</td>
    <td>3:checkForceLogin::0:null
    3:prepareRedirect:www.oracle.com:0:null</td>
    If the URL contains ":" then I'm getting an Idocscript syntax error.
    Thanks & regards.

    I'm wondering what your use case is
    - you can use other means to redirect to an external URL (check e.g. this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL_redirection)
    - prepareRedirect is used to redirect to a page once a UCM task (like CheckIn or Update) finishes; often it redirects to HomePage or "DoAnother" page template, plus it holds user's login
    To be honest, I don't get why anyone would need to create a service (called in unmanned mode?) that would require UCM login and then immediately redirect to an external URL (shown to the user?). It sounds to me more like a SSO (single sign-on) scenario, where UCM is used solely as a pool of user identities. In fact, in 11g it makes even less sense, because identities are stored in a LDAP. Nevertheless, it sounds like a way to sort out your problem: if not done yet, suggest to store identities in LDAP and authenticate against it when login to the external URL. If you need it as a service, check for Oracle Service Bus or similar middleware technologies.

  • Why am I getting redirected to the MSN homepage (when logging out of hotmail) with third party cookies not enabled? And why are exceptions to cookies being cleared in private browsing mode?

    I have the latest version of Firefox, I use Private browsing with Allow cookies but not third party cookies. Recently I have begun to be redirected to the MSN homepage after logging out of hotmail and whenever I add MSN cookies to the exceptions in cookies the list gets deleted. Can anyone tell me why, when blocking third party cookies should prevent that?

    Two initial thoughts:
    (1) If you look at the cookie names and content in the View Cookies dialog, are they the ordinary scramble of different names and values, or do they look like "opt-out" cookies? Some security software or add-ons may restore opt-out cookies after you clear them.
    (2) If you have any extensions that make requests to those sites, it's possible they are bypassing private browsing mode, although I would hope not. Hmmm.
    Unfortunately, unlike history where you can see the time that an entry was added, it is difficult to figure out when a cookie was set. But there are many cookie add-ons that might provide insight.
    Alternately, you could go directly to the cookies.sqlite database using the SQLite Manager extension. This is on the nerdy side, but manageable.
    (1) Install SQLite Manager from: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/sqlite-manager/
    (2) The extension adds an item to the Tools menu. If you do not normally use the classic menu bar, tap the Alt key to display it temporarily or press Alt+t to pull down the Tools menu.
    SQLite Manager may suggest a particular database, particularly on your second and later uses. You can skip that and it will open a new window.
    (3) On the toolbar (first screen shot), choose the cookies.sqlite database and click Go. This should display the database entries for all your cookies (second screen shot).
    (4) Select the following SQL query text:
    SELECT host AS Site, datetime(creationTime/1000000,'unixepoch') AS Created, datetime(expiry,'unixepoch') AS Expires
    FROM moz_cookies
    ORDER BY creationTime, host
    (5) Click the Execute SQL tab, paste the query, then click Run SQL. You should get a list of sites in order by the date their cookies were set (third screen shot).
    Are the dates all fresh? If they are older, something may be rolling back your cookie clearing.
