MDVP for collective orders

Hi Experts,
I have a scenario that if i run material availabilty check for FG material then all level of BOMS planned orders should be check collectivily. I have set the process as Collective orders for that because client wanted to have a linkage between parent order and sub-order.
But Now in MDVP I can not see any option to run the collective orders material check as in COHV where collective orders check box is present. Can anyone tell me how I can do the material availabilty check for collective planned orders too?
OR any enhancement I have to use for that?
Regards
Deepak Sharma

Dear,
Solution for this also same use the function module MD_SET_ACTION_PLAF for action control.
Transaction MDAC .
Also in MDVP -
> you put there as 000001-Standard profile
and 000001- Planned order view and put plant and execute that so will also work as collective.
Please try and come back.

  • Transaction similar to MDVP, for Production Orders

    Hello.
I have used transaction MDVP to perform a collective availability check on Planned Orders. Do you know of a similar one that gives me the same information on Production Orders?
I have used CO24 to get a report of Missing parts, but I feel that MDVP shows information in a better way, so I'm looking for the equivalent of MDVP for Production Orders.
    Thank you!

  • Business scenario for collective orders

    Hello folks,
Can somebody explain the business scenario associated with collective orders? why we need collective orders? what is the business requirement that calls for collective orders?
    Regards,
    Sravan Kumar

You may create several production orders from several planned orders, provided that the planned orders exist in the same plant and belong to the same MRP controller. This is called collective order conversion.
A collective order is a linking together of planned orders or production orders over several manufacturing levels.
Every production order has its own routing and order number.
When you are in the collective order structure, you can edit an individual order, a subtree, or the entire collective order.
Goods movements are not required for sub-assemblies. The material is passed on directly to the next
    order up.
The special procurement key determines whether direct production is involved.
Since no goods movements are required for sub-assemblies, this means that you have less data to maintain. Goods movements are only required for the leading order and for components whose special procurement key does not stipulate that direct production should be used.
Changes to dates and quantities affect all related orders.
The actual costs of the production process are more realistic because they are not influenced by the
predefined price in the material master.
    Master Data.
Special procurement key "52" on MRP 2 view
    Individual Collective Flag MRP4 view
Bills of material and routings at each assembly level

  • DOCUMENTED  GOODS MOVEMENT  FOR COLLECTIVE ORDER

    Hi Guru's
    In  the  4.6C version
If i got to Production order from transaction code CO03 , Read the collective order , highlight the toplevel item and ''GOTO'' in the menu bar and select Documented goods movement , the display shows the Top level order AND the Sub-Assemblies.
( sub-assemblies goods movement with main assembly  can be seen in the single screen)
    In the ECC 6.0 Version
If i got to Production order from transaction code CO03 , Read the collective order , highlight the toplevel item and ''GOTO'' in the menu bar and select Documented goods movement , the display shows the Top level order only.
To see the Goods Movement in the Sub-Assemblies  you have to go to each production order individually.
can this be changed in ECC 6.0  exactly to that seen in 4.6c version .
pls give me your valuable inputs at the earliest .
    Thanks for your help.

    satish k

    Hi satish,
In collective order struture ,Automatic goods movement will be happened between toplevel & lower level.
Please check with "coll order goods mvt" settings for order type at OPJH For ECC 6.0 version.
Please also check with cost analysis for Goods movement.

Case:01: Wherin COOIS>Capacity list display only show for header order not dependent order
Case 02:Wherin COOIS>Capacity list display show both for header order & dependent order
Order type & Plant is same in both cases.

  • MRP for collective order

    Dear experts:
I met a problem of Collective order.
           My scenario is :   Fert (A) -- Halb (a) -- ROH ( b) .  Set special procurment 52 in mrp2 of material a.
suppose material "a" has stock 30pcs,  now when i creat a Plan order for "A" 100pcs,
and then run MRP,system generate a plan order "a" 100pcs directly,
not consider the stock of a (30pcs).
my question is how to setting, then i can get the result :  Plan order "a"  is 70pcs.
And also how to setting when scenario is creating Production order.
            Thanks in advance.

    Dear R.Brahmankar:
          Fert A :        M0      Individual/coll.  "blank"
            Halb a:       M0  ,  special procurement:  52  , idual/coll.  "blank",     stock 30pcs
               ROH b:   PD.
      Now , I creat a Plan order for "A" :100pcs, and Run MD41,
result is:    material  "a",   plan order :  100 pcs.
but what I expectation result is :   material  "a",   plan order :  70 pcs.  for I already have 30pcs stock  of material "a".
      how should i do. Thanks

  • WBS element for collective order

    Hello All,
I have a production order with 5 subordinate production orders .
For the order header there is a WBS element assigned .
But for the subordinate orders, WBS should be the same as that of order header WBS.
My problem here is , PO is created using CO10 . WBS is  input at the time of creation and available in order header only.
But WBS field is empty for subordinate orders when displayed using CO03.
    Regards,
    Jyothi

    Hello All,
    I got the solution.
There is a link between BOM header and items and WBS elements through table AFPO.
If we input the WBS element, then it displays all the orders (Both BOM hdr and items)
If the table entry is not maintained correctly, then there will be no WBS for that BOM items.

I need after collective availability check to perform the following:
    1) to copy date from "total comitment" field on header tab of planned order and paste it (replace old date) to order finish date on header screen
    then
    2) to start a scheduling.
    Very appreciate your help.

    Dear,
    Use the BAPI : BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE
Or use the function module MD_SET_ACTION_PLAF for Schedule planned order.
and the transaction MDAC Execute action for planned order
This function module includes the following actions:
    Explode BOM
    Explode BOM, check availability
Check availability, only explode BOM in the case of a requirement
Check availability, do not explode BOM
    Reset availability
    Change planned order data
    Schedule planned order
    Delete planned order
Assign the key for the respective action control to the materials in the material master (MRP 4 view).

  • Collective Orders with GR & GI for sub-ordinate orders

    Hello,
I am lookng for collective Orders where superior order and sub-ordinate ordes can be tagged together and at the sametime, I would like to GR for sub-ordinate Order which trigger Auto GI to superior Order. this feature is not available in collective orders.
why I am looking for GR execution is that GR quantity changes for sub-ordinate order from one order to another order always. it needs to be actual.
any work acound to satisfy this requirement?
    Thanks
    JK

    Hi JK,
I have a doubt that whether this would be a business requirement. Say as per the BoM if there are 3 levels the last level was expected to be produced as 100 UoM but after production run the yield was 98 UoM or 105 UoM then how system will undertsand that it should post the GI of level 3 SFG2 as yield produced from the last Production/ Process order. But at the same time you need to do subsequent adjustment at SFG1 level also.
This is highly dynamic situation thats why when you have multiple level of BoM and at each stage the chances of yield variation is high then its always better to create Production/ Process order of superordinate level of BoM when the lower level are produced, confirmed and available in the stock.

  • Collective order - manuell booking

    Hello all!
Is there a way to use collective orders without automatic booking, but with manual booking.
We like the idea of the linked production orders and the way it is handled. Our problem is,
that we need the semi-finished goods on stock. So we have to book them with MIGO.
Is there any other way to link the production orders and do physical bookings (like in every
    standard production order)?
    Thankful for all help,
    Barbara

    Hi,
In a collective order, goods movements (GI & GR) are usually not required for assemblies that are directly produced.
When u do the confirmation for Lower level order, Produed assemblies will be issued to Higher level order directly, so manual goods issue not possible for assemblies to Higher level order.
U can confirm this, with Higher level order cost analysis after the confirmation of lower level order.
So need not issue the produced assembly to higher level order using the MB1A.
Only thing u have to activate Collective order with goods movements object  box for Order type at OPJH .
For Lower level order (Assembly order ) good issue for procured components of assembly can be done using MB1A with MVt type 261.
    Dependencies :
For collective orders without automatic goods movements you must take organizational measures to ensure that the WIP calculation and the settlement of orders are each carried out twice. You cannot carry out a variance calculation for collective orders without automatic goods movements. You cannot carry out a standard cost calculation for a collective order without automatic goods movements.
You can find detailed information on collective orders in the document Cost object accounting -> Order-related Product Controlling.
    Thanks,
    Mohit

  • Collective order processing

I have gone through the threads in w.r.t collective order and direct production. the sap help (IDES too) and the ERP documentation. I still cannot trigger get a process order to be directly created for the subcomponent when I convert the parent planned order (superior planned order).
My BOM structure is the standard FERT-HALB-ROH.
I have setup sp proc key 52 for the halb, BOM and recipe are valid and they are linked to a prod ver. I see a DEP req for the FERT material in the HALB's MD04 screen after I run MRP for the FERT.
I know this setup works for production order. I am however trying with "process orders" since this is required for a PI based inventory. Is this possible?

    Dear colleague,
    Which transaction do you use?
    The conversion should be possible.
    Please use COR7 and COR8.
we usually recommend not to use PPBICOR8 for collective orders,
because the program flow logic is different from planned order
conversions that do not result in a collective order. For example,
in dialog mode, you usually receive the collective order overview,
in batch input mode (PPBICOR8 is a batch input for COR7), you don't.
PPBICOR8 cannot distinguish between collective orders and non-collective
orders when the batch input is set up for the planned order conversion -
at this point, it is not known if the resulting order will be a
collective order. This is why PPBICOR8 should not be used for
    collective orders.
Please apply the attached note 974946 to suppress the pop-up.
If the issue persists, please open a new OSS message with this issue,
    thanks and best regards

  • Collective order  - CO1F

    Hi
    good afternoon!
I have a problem in the production record in transaction CO1F (used for collective order).
The system is too slow to make the appointment, can someone help me to improve performance?
    Thank you,

    Hello Reginaldo
Generally, performance issues are only observed on the order confirmation if there are too many operations or goods movements.
If there are many goods movements, maybe it is better to post them in update mode. Check the setting on OPK4 and note 208477 for more details.
Otherwise, you should run some traces on ST05 and ST12, in order to identify exactly what is causing the performance.

  • MD50 With Collective order scenario

    Hi!,
Can we have multi level sales order planning for collective order scenario without runnnng the multi level planning (MD02 / MD01) subsequently.
Actually when we run MD50 system creates the planned order for header material but not for dependent requirements.
I know that this can be done by subsequently running MD02 / MD01. Please let me know that whether is it possible in collective order scenario without running the maulti level planning.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards.
    Uday

    Hy Uday,
Yes It is possible To generates Planing Proposals for dependent requirement also through MD50.But most imp conditions are,
    - For all the BOM Components Ind./Coll requirement type(MRP4) should be maintain as individual requirements only (option 1) or individual or collective requirements.(Blank).
    - For Header Material - MRP for Dep. Requirements should be active in MRP 4 view.
If above condition is maintain for BOM components then system will generates Planing proposals for all the BOM components upto the last level of BOM.
For In house Production system will generates Plan order with reference to Sales order (HALB).
And for externally procured Items system will create PR with Reference to Sales order.
