Recently we moved from ECC 5 to ECC 6
We face a issue in P.O printout
Eg:- When the P.O created & released  now the print taken and found okey. (no goods are inwarded)
in this condition After taken  the printout , Thru ME22N , i am adding 2 more line items in the p.o & deleted the existing line items and inserted some text in the Headed text . due to value changes , its been released, if we take the printout thru ME9F
The following issue noticed.
1) The Header text which is inserted its not appearing in the P.O
2) " The AMENDMENT to Purchase order " should come at the Top of the P.O , its not coming.
But same getting  is working  if we test thru ECC 5.0 ,
Is anything need to be done spcifically for ECC 6.0

Hi,
Please do the following check,
Go to SPRO - MM - purchasing - messages - output control - message types - define message types for PO - Execute
under fine tuned control : PO - For the PO printout condition type , ensure that short description New and Change both are maintained.

  • Purchase order not appearing as commitment for next fiscal year in KOB2

    Hi Experts
Any help on this is highly appreciated. Our Fiscal year 2008 is ending on 27th september and fiscal year 2009 will start on 28th September.
We have some purchase orders created with delivery date as 30th september which falls into next fiscal year. Somehow these purchase orders are not appearing as commitments in KOB2 report even with data ranges for next fiscal year.
However we have many similar Purchase orders with delivery date in fiscal year 2008 with same internal order as account assignment and they are correctly appearing as commitments in KOB2 report.
Can you please let us know what could be the reason for purchase orders with delivery date as 30th september not appearing in KOB2 report.
    Regards,
    Santosh

    Hi Ashok
Thanks for your continued support on this. I was going through these notes today.
One observation I made was cost elements in our system were valid till 27th september only when problematic POs were created. However their validity was subsequently extended after the creation of Purchase orders. This might be the reason for system not recognising these POs as commitments.
SAP Note 534993 seems to suggest that we need to run report RKANBU01 for all such purchase orders to redetermine commitments.I am in the process of testing this out in our systems.
Could you please let me know if my understanding is correct. Thanks again.

    Santosh

  • Emailed Purchase Orders not appearing in SCOT

    Hi,
I am trying to view the emailed output of Purchase Orders (via Shopping Cart approvals) to vendors , in our test system. Because it is out test system, and we do not want purchase orders sent to vendors from this system, we have turned the SMTP (Internet) and TOPCAL (Telefax) off.
I can not see any purchase order output in SCOT, but I can see Shopping Cart approvals, Shopping Cart completions etc... Does having the nodes switched off only affect PO output, or is something wrong?
We do have programs RSCONN01, RSWUWFMLEC running
    John

I think you need to enable the SMTP node.
Just make sure nobody is allowed to start the sender job and make sure there is no automatic send job scheduled.
Even if you enable the SMTP node and just clear the entry for your SMTP server in the node's settings you should still be able to "see" the mails waiting to be sent.

  • Open Purchase Orders not considered as requirement for MRP Run

    Hi ,
We are facing a issue of Open Purchase orders not appeared in Stock requirements list and also it is not considered as requirement for MRP Run against reservation.
As aresult for a reservation demand of 10 units we are ending with Open POs 10 units and a additional planned order 10 units.
    Material Type : ERSA
MRP Type : PD (or VB)
Lot size : EX (  HB if MRP Type is VB)
Could you please throw some light to correct our settings to MRP to consider Open POs?

Can you check to see if there is a re-order point set up for this materia? That could be causing the problem too.

  • Amendment to purchase order

    dear all
Is there is any option in sap for make Amendment to purchase order  regarding rate , adress, payment terms , as i dont want give authorisation me22 to perticular user. Also can set automatic expire po after 10 days if no action ex.release taken on it?
    pls help
    Vipin

You need to use the Release Process with Workflow to fulfill some of your requirements..
You can set the workflow in such a way that if PO is rejected then there will Automatic deletion indicator against the Line Items..
There is no expiry concept in PO only deletion / Block .
As far as PO amendement in the release process you can set the Changability indicator to Some Release Codes.
So the user's assigned with that Codes can amend the PO. also you can assign field selection to the Trxn Codes which in turn assigned to the Authorization object & to the User.

  • Amend approved Purchase Order

How do I amend a purchase order that is already approved. Amend quantity, payment terms, etc.,

    Hi Chaitanya,
I had a similar problem, there is no direct solution for this is in SAP B1 and documents created through approval process cannot  be changed (atleast in the row level and other important fields that would make a difference)
However, there is a work around
Step 1.  Using a stored procedure the originators of PO can be restricted from posting the document or making changes to it (add or update), however they will be able to save them as drafts.
Step 2.  Using SAP inbuilt messaging service,  the saved drafts can be sent to the respective authorizers who will check the document and add them, now the document is created.
Step 3.  Now changes to this document can be made since it is not created through the approval procedure.
The limitations of the above method are
    1.  Only authorizers who are not restricted by stored procedure can make changes in the document.
    2.  Since the document is not created through the approval process, it can be changed by anyone who have authorization to update the document.
Please check if this solves your problem.

    Murali

  • Amendment of Purchase Order

    Dear All,
Please let me know can i amend the purchase order after release. Because i have no rights to unreleased the purchase order & i want to change something in purchase order but i don't know how can i change. Please suggest me.

    Vimal Lakhotia

    Hi,
go to spro> IMG>MM>PURCHASING>PO>Release Procedure>Define Release procedure> Release Indicator Here you have changeable indicator. Select ANY ONE  according to your requirment.
    1     Cannot be changed
2     Changeable, no new determination of strategy
3     Changeable, new release in case of new strategy
4     Changeable, new release in case of new strat. or val. change
In Changeability Indicator in  release procedure that plays a vital role in designing of release procedure which act's in purchasing document will behave after release.
For your case Use / Set Changeability Indicator as 2 {Changeable, no new determination of strategy}in release procedure of purchase order in Release Strategy segment & save.It will result PO can be changeable after release and no release strategy will trigger again after change in PO.
    Regards
    Raj.

  • Purchase Order not subject to release strategy for contract rel. strategy

Hello, I am trying to set release strategy for contracts (TCODE: ME31K). I have created characteristic, which use table CEKKO and field name BSTYP in Addnl data tab. I have checked values, and they are correct. Then I have assigned in release strategies in classification view value contract. But when I try to check release strategy in ME31K with green flag, it display error: Purchase Order not subject to release strategy. (I have tried to do the same strategy in purchase order, of course with value Purchase order, and it works nice).
So I have checked this release strategy with this codes:
    CL24N ok,
    CT04 ok,
    CL30N ok,
    CL20N ok,
Release simulation in release strategy works,
Then I found out that I should check SE38, SE37 but I do not understand how to use them (according: Purchasing Document Not Subject to Release Strategy).
Thank you for your help in advance.

I haven't said to use EKPO table in characteristics. You have to use CEKKO - BSTYP in characteristics.
I've just said the compare the value which you have given in Release strategy - Classification and EKPO table for the particular contract.
Also compare your release strategy settings with many existing documents in SCN.
Check your Classification should be like that.
You may see the error message in ME31K. Just save the contract then go to ME32K/ME33K or ME35K you can see the release strategy will effect for the contract.

    Hi,
    Please check the following things.
Check whether the roles delivered by SAP meet your requirements. If not, you can create new roles and assign transactions to them. We recommend that you copy standard roles and tailor them to your requirements.
All users assigned to a respective role are then allowed to carry out the transactions. If required, you can refine the authorization check on the tab page Authorizations.
    Standard SAP Single-roles
SAP_EC_SUS_ADMIN_PURCHASER (for purchasing administrators - SAP Supplier Self-Services)
    SAP_EC_SUS_BIDDER (for bidders - SAP Supplier Self-Services)
    SAP_EC_SUS_DISPATCHER (for dispatchers - SAP Supplier Self-Services)
    SAP_EC_SUS_INVOICER (for invoicers - SAP Supplier Self-Services)
SAP_EC_SUS_ORDER_PROCESSOR (for order processors - SAP Supplier Self-Services)
    SAP_EC_SUS_MANAGER (for managers - SAP Supplier Self-Services)
SAP_EC_SUS_SERVICE_AGENT (for service agents - SAP Supplier Self-Services)
If you want to use SAP Supplier Self-Services, proceed as follows:
    1. Select one of the following single roles:
    SAP_EC_SUS_ADMIN_PURCHASER
    SAP_EC_SUS_ADMIN_VENDOR
    SAP_EC_SUS_BIDDER
    SAP_EC_SUS_DISPATCHER
    SAP_EC_SUS_INVOICER
    SAP_EC_SUS_MANAGER
    SAP_EC_SUS_ORDER_PROCESSOR
    SAP_EC_SUS_PRODUCT_MANAGER
    SAP_EC_SUS_SAR_PROCESSOR
    SAP_EC_SUS_SERVICE_AGENT
    SAP_EC_SUS_SERVICE_MANAGER
    2. Choose Change Roles.
    3. Choose the Personalization tab page.
Note: The personalization applies to all roles, meaning the user can also create his own roles, for example copying the delivered SAP SUS roles. He can tailor these roles to his requirements by changing the SUS-specific attributes (BBP_SUS_ROLE_ATTRIBUTES).
    1. Select the entry BBP_SUS_ROLE_ATTRIBUTES (SUS-specific role attributes).
    2. Choose Change values.
A dialog box for maintaining SUS-specific roles appears.
    3. If required, perform the following steps:
If the role should be displayed in the SUS User Management (UM) and should be able to be assigned to the relevant user by the supplier administrator, set the indicator to display the role in SUS UM.
If the user should be displayed as a service agent for the purchaser, set the Service agent indicator.
If you want to define the user as an SRM administrator, set the SRM administrator indicator. The user is then authorized to change all supplier data.
If want to assign the role SUS administrator automatically to the user during registration, set the SUS administratorindicator.
Sets the relevant indicators if you want users to receive the following notifications: Notification If Purchase Order Not Opened, Notification If Purchase Order Response Is Missing, Notification If ASN Is Missing, Notification If ConfirmationIs Missing, Notification If Invoice Is Missing,
Award the points for the help.

  • Change Purchase Orders not to be send to external catalog vendors via XI

We are working on SRM 5.00
When ever we create Purchase Orders from External Catalog a mail goes to the vendor via XI in XML language.
That is fine. However when we change any thing on the Purchase Order a again mail goes to vendor.
Our requirement is to send the Purchase Order only when they are created and not when they are changed.
How do we manage this in SRM.
    Will badi ZBP_SAPXML1_OUT_BADI  help us

  • Purchased apps not appearing

I have an iPad that has several purchased apps (specifically angry birds). I got an iPhone and angry birds is not available for transfer. What can I do?

There seems to be two problems with purchased apps not appearing. Both separate. For me, all I see is spinning circle until finally the app crashes. Everything else on the store works except the purchased app page. None of the posted solutions work for this type.
Others seem to be able to fix their problems with either signing out of the store and singing back in while, for some, just a hard reboot works.
Must be a bug somewhere that Only Apple can fix.

  • Purchases do not appear on purchased list or music, even though it says they should be there

What do you do when you purchased from ITunes Store and it says that you purchased it, you checked for available downloads, says none available, but the purchase does not appear in Music or Purchases?

Did you load the Materials into the material Library?
    Select a Material
Click on the Thumbnail to enable the flyout
Then click on the little triangle on that flyout (I know we will fix this )
You should see a Load Materials and below that a list of Materials (screen hot)
You can also mnaual add them to the Preset folder > Materials (screen shot)
